Description

[0001] MINERAL WOOL INJECTOR SYSTEM

[0002] Technical Field

[0003] The invention relates to a mineral wool injector system used in the production of mineral wool filled panels, for mixing chemical raw materials into an adhesive and for injecting this adhesive onto the bottom panel and mineral wool fillings in the panel.

[0004] Prior Art

[0005] In adhesive injection systems, the two chemicals must be mixed homogeneously at the exact moment of pouring. In current practice, after the chemicals come into contact with each other, the pumps go up to high pressure to create a mixture, thus the mixture has a particulate structure and frequently leads to clogging of the injector. Another reason for these frequent blockages is that the hole diameters in the injector are very small, such as 0.3-0.5 mm.

[0006] In addition, the hydraulic system in the existing injector malfunctions frequently and therefore production stops occur. Due to these stops, sheet metal, mineral wool and chemical wastage occurs.

[0007] As a result, due to the abovementioned disadvantages and the insufficiency of the current solutions regarding the subject matter, a development is required to be made in the relevant technical field.

[0008] Purpose of the Invention

[0009] The invention aims to solve the abovementioned disadvantages by being inspired from the current conditions.

[0010] The main purpose of the invention is to introduce a mineral wool injector system in which two chemicals are mixed by colliding with each other under high pressure in the mixing chamber, in order to eliminate the particulate chemical structure of the mixture in the state of the art. Thanks to this application, adhesion performance increases compared to the prior art, as a good and homogeneous mixture is achieved. Another purpose of the invention is to eliminate the clogging problem, with the 1 mm diameter of the hole in the injector.

[0011] Another purpose of the invention is to keep the injector at high pressure by using a pressure adjustable spring, thus eliminating the need to use a hydraulic system.

[0012] In order to fulfil the above-mentioned purpose, a mineral wool injector system has been developed that is used in the production of mineral wool filled panels, mixing chemical raw materials to form an adhesive and dispensing this adhesive onto the bottom sheet of the panel and onto the mineral wool fillings, and comprises the following:

[0013] - jet needle, which allows the orifices opening to the mixing chamber to be closed,

[0014] - pressure adjustable spring that pushes the jet needle and ensures the closure of the injector when the pressure from the chemical raw materials decreases,

[0015] - spring wedge on which the pressure adjustable spring is fixed, mixing chamber wedge, which ensures that high-pressure mixtures collide and mix in the mixing chamber,

[0016] - high pressure jet sleeve that allows the chemical raw materials coming from the 1 st chemical inlet and 2nd chemical inlet to go to the mixing chamber under high pressure to be used as adhesive for mineral wool filled panel production,

[0017] - spray pipe that allows the chemical raw materials to be thrown onto the mineral wool filled panel in the form of combing.

[0018] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mineral wool injector system comprises a spring pressure adjustment screw for adjusting the pressure of the pressure-adjustable spring.

[0019] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mineral wool injector system comprises a 3rd chemical inlet closure plate which blocks the inlet until the 3rd chemical feedstock is connected.

[0020] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mineral wool injector system comprises a head chuck for connection between the injector and the spray tube.

[0021] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mineral wool injector system comprises a spray tube nut for mounting the spray tube to the injector. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mineral wool injector system comprises a pressure-adjustable spring guide which allows the pressure-adjustable spring to remain stationary in the spring wedge.

[0022] The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings and therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

[0042] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the inventive mineral wool injector system are described by means of examples only for clarifying the subject matter.

[0043] The preferred embodiment of the mineral wool injector system that is the subject of the invention comprises the following elements:

[0044] - spring wedge (1 ), mixing chamber wedge (2),

[0045] - high pressure jet sleeve (3)

[0046] - spring pressure adjustment screw (4):

[0047] - 3rd chemical inlet covering sheet (5):

[0048] - head chuck (6):

[0049] - spray pipe nut (7):

[0050] - spray pipe (8):

[0051] - jet needle (9):

[0052] - pressure adjustable spring (10):

[0053] - pressure adjustable spring guide (1 1 ).

[0054] The features of the elements of the mineral wool injector system that is the subject of the invention are given below:

[0055] - Spring wedge (1 ) is the element on which the pressure adjustable spring (10), pressure adjustable spring guide (11 ) and spring pressure adjustment screw are mounted to fix the pressure adjustable spring (10).

[0056] The mixing chamber wedge (2) ensures that the mixtures coming under high pressure collide and mix in the mixing chamber.

[0057] - The high pressure jet sleeve (3) ensures that the chemical raw materials coming from both inlets, i.e. chemical inlet 1 (12) and chemical inlet 2 (13), go to the mixing chamber under high pressure to be used as adhesive for the production of mineral wool filled panels.

[0058] - The spring pressure adjustment screw (4) adjusts the pressure of the pressure-adjustable spring (10). - The 3rd chemical inlet covering sheet (5) is the element that blinds the inlet until the 3rd chemical raw material is connected.

[0059] - The head chuck (6) acts as a connection adapter between the injector and the spray pipe (8).

[0060] - The spray pipe nut (7) ensures the assembly of the spray pipe (8) to the injector.

[0061] - The spray pipe (8) ensures that the mixed chemical raw materials are thrown onto the mineral wool filled panel in the form of screening.

[0062] - The jet needle (9) ensures the closure of the orifices opening into the mixing chamber.

[0063] - The pressure adjustable spring (10) pushes the jet needle (9) and ensures the closure of the injector when the pressure from the chemical raw materials decreases.

[0064] - The pressure adjustable spring guide (11 ) ensures that the pressure adjustable spring (10) remains fixed in the spring wedge (1 ).

[0065] The operating principle of the mineral wool injector system that is the subject of the invention is as follows: Chemical raw materials enter the system through 2 chemical inlets (1 st chemical inlet (12) and 2nd chemical inlet (13)) located on the mixing chamber wedge (2). Chemical raw materials filled into the high pressure jet sleeve (3) begin to push the jet needle (9) onto the pressure adjustable spring (10) under the influence of pressure. As the jet needle (9) is pulled back, the mixing chamber orifice opens, and the 2 chemical raw materials begin to collide and mix under high pressure in the mixing chamber. Then, this mixture passes through the spray pipe (8) and the mineral wool filled panel is thrown. At the slightest pressure drop, the system shuts down as the pressure adjustable spring (10) pushes the jet needle (9) towards the orifices. In this way, the correct amount of chemical raw materials is mixed together.
