Description

[0001] PILE DRIVING MACHINE WITH ENCODER MAST MECHANISM

[0002] FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The present invention relates to a pile driving machine with an encoder to enable the mast mechanism, which allows the up and down movement of the pile driving unit in pile driving machines, to be rotated at the desired angle.

[0004] STATE OF THE ART

[0005] Today, pile driving machines work in different terrain conditions. In sloping terrains, even if the body of the pile driving machine is inclined to fit the terrain, the mast mechanism must be positioned at a certain angle depending on the slope of the terrain compared to the vehicle body in order for the pile to be driven to be upright.

[0006] In the current situation, while the body of pile driving machines remained stationary, the rotation of the mast mechanism was provided by hydraulic systems. This made it difficult to rotate the mast mechanism at the desired angle. In most cases, the mast mechanism, which needs to be positioned very precisely, the unit that determines the angle at which the pile will enter the surface, could not be positioned at the desired angle. This situation made it difficult for the operator in the field to position the mast unit at the desired angle, prolonging the work and causing time and cost losses.

[0007] As a result, due to the abovementioned disadvantages and the insufficiency of the current solutions regarding the subject matter, a development is required to be made in the relevant technical field.

[0008] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a pile driving machine with encoder mast mechanism which fulfils the abovementioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and brings some additional advantages.

[0009] The main object of the pile driving machine with encoder mast mechanism subject to the invention is to enable the angle of the mast mechanism to be adjusted at the desired angle depending on the surface slope, especially on sloping terrain.

[0010] Another related object of the pile driving machine with encoder mast mechanism subject to the invention is to prevent time, labor and cost losses caused by the operator's inability to position the mast mechanism at the desired angle relative to the surface in the field.

[0011] The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following detailed description. Therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking this detailed description into consideration.

[0035] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0036] In this detailed description, the inventive pile driving machine with encoder mast mechanism is described only for clarifying the subject matter in a manner such that no limiting effect is created.

[0037] Figure 1 shows an exploded perspective view of the pile driving machine. The separated view of the body and the mast (8) can be seen.

[0038] The connection between the mast (8) and the body is ensured by connecting the mast bearing shaft (9) to the bearing shaft slot (13) located on the mast connection plate (12). There are left tilt roller (3) and right tilt roller (4) on the mast connection plate (12). There is a left tilt roller connection slot (14) on the left tilt roller (3), and a right tilt roller connection slot (15) is located at the end of the right tilt roller (4). On the mast (8), there is a left bracket (16) to connect with the left tilt roller connection slot (14), and a right support (17) to connect with the right tilt roller connection slot (15). These supports are fixed on the mast. When the right tilt roller (4) is moved upwards, the mast (8) is rotated to the left, and when the left tilt roller (3) is moved upwards, the mast (8) is rotated to the right. The mast performs the mentioned rotation movement by accepting the center of the bearing shaft (9) as the axis. Figure 2 shows the axis of rotation (18) and the bearing shaft (9), flange (10), motion transmission shaft (11), coupling (7), encoder connection plate (6) and encoder (5) positioned on this axis of rotation (18).

[0039] The rotational movement of the mast (8), the operating principle of which is explained above, cannot be controlled angularly in the current situation. For example, if the operator wants to tilt the mast (8) 12 degrees to the right, he tries to achieve the desired angle by operating the left tilt roller (3) with the help of valve (2) for a certain period of time. If it runs a little longer than it should, the angle may be more than 12 degrees; if it runs a little shorter, the angle may be less than 12 degrees. Since the operator does not know the angle of rotation, he / she has to work by eye judgment. Approximate and blindly made operations and measurements reduce the efficiency and quality in the field.

[0040] With the pile driving machine with the encoder (5) mast (8) mechanism subject to the invention, an encoder (5) system is integrated into the pile driving machine, as seen in Figure 2, in order to measure the rotation angle of the mast (8). The operating principle of said system is as follows;

[0041] The operator determines the angle at which he / she wants to rotate the mast (8) via the control panel (1). The command given via the control panel (1) is transferred to the valve (2). Valve (2) operates the left tilt roller (3) or the right tilt roller (4), depending on the command it receives. With the movement of the left tilt roller (3) and right tilt roller (4) mounted on the mast connection plate (12) in the machine frame, the mast (8) is moved circularly by accepting the center of the bearing shaft housing (13) on the connection plate (12) as the axis of rotation (18). While the movement of the mast (8) continues, the encoder (5) connected to the mast bearing shaft (9) continuously controls the degree and terminates the circular movement by giving a command to the valve (2) when the rotation degree of the mast reaches the degree value written by the operator on the control panel (1). In this way, accurate results can be obtained in a short time.
