Description

Partition device

[0001] The present invention relates to a partitioning device capable of partitioning a moving plate.

[0002] For example, a product divider for a display shelf is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1). This divider has a substantially L-shaped or inverted T-shaped base plate, and an engaging portion at the front end for engaging with a shelf board.

[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-217675

[0004] Such dividers allow shelves to be moved in the width direction, which is convenient for store managers. However, because the rear portion of the divider is not fixed, there is a possibility that products may shift from their original display positions. On the other hand, if the rear portion of the divider is fixed to the shelf, it becomes difficult to rearrange products.

[0005] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a partitioning device that can prevent products from shifting on a moving plate and ensure good operability when replacing products.

[0006] The above-mentioned problems are solved by the present invention as follows. That is, a partition device of present invention (1) comprises: a fixed part having a band-like extension in the width direction and a plurality of grooves extending in the front-rear direction; a movable plate having a front end and a rear end and provided directly below the fixed part, the movable plate being movable between a first position where the rear end overlaps with the fixed part and a second position where the front end overlaps with the fixed part, and on which products are placed; and a partition plate provided on the movable plate, wherein the partition plate has: a slot capable of accommodating the fixed part; an engaging part provided on the front side of the slot, protruding into the slot, and capable of engaging with one of the plurality of grooves when the movable plate is at the second position; and an enlarged part provided on the rear side of the slot, capable of accommodating the fixed part with a gap between it and the fixed part when the movable plate is at the first position.

[0007] Furthermore, the partition device of the present invention (2) is a partition device as described in (1), and is provided with a second fixing portion provided near the rear end of the movable plate when it is in the second position, and which engages with and holds the rear of the partition plate when the movable plate is in the second position.

[0008] Furthermore, the partition device of the present invention (3) is a partition device as described in (2), wherein the second fixing portion has a plurality of second groove portions extending in the front-to-rear direction, and when the movable plate is in the second position, the rear portion of the partition plate is inserted into and held in one of the plurality of second groove portions.

[0009] Furthermore, the partition device of the present invention (4) is a partition device as described in (2), wherein the second fixed portion has an elastic body, and when the movable plate is in the second position, the rear portion of the partition plate is held by the elastic body in a state where it is bitten into the elastic body and elastically deformed.

[0010] Furthermore, the partition device of the present invention (5) is a partition device described in any one of (1) to (4), wherein the fixing portion has a first surface on which the plurality of groove portions are provided and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and the partition plate has an anchor portion provided on the front side of the slot and engaging with the second surface of the fixing portion.

[0011] Furthermore, the partition device of the present invention (6) is a partition device described in any one of (1) to (4), wherein the partition plate has an insertion piece that can be inserted into a groove provided at the front end of the movable plate and separated from the groove.

[0014] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a shelf of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The shelf of the present invention can automatically advance products by pulling out a moving plate in the forward direction and pushing it in the rearward direction. In the following description, the front direction of the shelf is designated as F, the rear direction as R, and the width direction as W. [First embodiment]

[0015] A shelf 10 according to a first embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 12. The shelf 10 is an example of the partition device referred to in the present invention.

[0016] As shown in Figures 1 to 6, the shelf 10 comprises a base 11, a pair of frames 12 standing up from the rear end and both ends of the base 11, a back panel 13 spanning between the pair of frames 12, a fixed portion 14 and a second fixed portion 19 fixed to the pair of frames 12, a pair of brackets 15 fixed to the pair of frames 12, a pair of shelf rails 16 provided on the pair of brackets 15, a movable plate 17 (movable shelf) that can be pulled out in the forward direction F or pushed in in the rearward direction R via the pair of shelf rails 16, and a partition plate 24 that divides the movable plate 17 in the front-to-rear direction.

[0017] Each of the pair of frames 12 has a plurality of through holes 25 arranged vertically for fixing the brackets 15. The plurality of through holes 25 may form two or more rows.

[0018] As shown in FIGS. 1 , 3 , and 10 , the fixed portion 14 includes a pair of metal support brackets 26 detachably attached to the frame 12, a metal cross plate 27 extending between the pair of support brackets 26, and a resin flat plate 28 attached to the upper surface of the cross plate 27. The cross plate 27 and the flat plate 28 of the fixed portion 14 are provided across substantially the entire width of the movable plate 17 in the width direction W and are formed in a strip shape extending elongatedly in the width direction W. The flat plate 28 is detachably fixed to the cross plate 27 by engagement with a claw or the like. As shown in FIG. 10 , the flat plate 28 includes a first surface 28A and a second surface 28B opposite the first surface 28A. The second surface 28B of the flat plate 28 abuts against the cross plate 27. The first surface 28A of the flat plate 28 includes a plurality of grooves 31 extending in the front-rear direction FR. As shown in FIG. 6, the flat plate 28 further has a recess 34 at the front end of the second surface 28B for hooking an anchor portion 32 of the partition plate 24, which will be described later.

[0019] 4 and 11 , the second fixing portion 19 is provided at a position corresponding to the rear end 17B of the movable plate 17 at the second position P2 and at a position spaced a predetermined distance from the rear end 17B of the movable plate 17 at the second position P2. The second fixing portion 19 is provided near the rear end 17B of the movable plate 17 at the second position P2, within the range of the height of the partition plate 24 installed on the movable plate 17. The second fixing portion 19 includes a pair of metal second support brackets 41 detachably attached to the frame 12, a metal cross member 40 spanning between the pair of second support brackets 41, and a resin front member 43 attached to the front of the cross member 40.

[0020] The cross member 40 and front member 43 of the second fixing portion 19 are provided across substantially the entire width of the movable plate 17 in the width direction W. As shown in FIG. 11 , the cross member 40 is formed in a rectangular pipe shape. The front member 43 is detachably fixed to the cross member 40 by engaging a claw or the like. The front member 43 has multiple protruding pieces 44 protruding in the forward direction F. Gaps are formed between the protruding pieces 44 large enough to allow the rear portion of the partition plate 24 to be inserted. These gaps extend in the front-to-rear direction FR. These multiple gaps are an example of the multiple second grooves referred to in the present invention. The shape of the protruding pieces 44 is arbitrary, but a rounded shape is desirable to prevent injury to the store manager.

[0021] As shown in Fig. 2, a pair of shelf rails 16 are provided on the inner surfaces of the pair of brackets 15, respectively. Each of the pair of shelf rails 16 is extendable and retractable in the front-to-rear direction FR and can support the movable plate 17 so that it can slide in the front-to-rear direction FR. Therefore, the movable plate 17 is movable between a first position P1 where the rear end 17B overlaps with the fixed portion 14 (flat plate 28) as shown in Figs. 2 and 7, and a second position P2 where the front end 17A overlaps with the fixed portion 14 (flat plate 28) as shown in Figs. 1 and 9.

[0022] The movable plate 17 is formed into a flat plate shape from a metal plate. A product is placed on the movable plate 17. Note that, to prevent the product from interfering with the fixed portion 14 when the movable plate 17 is moved between the first position P1 and the second position P2, a rail member (not shown) may be interposed like a clog below the product 46 and above the movable plate 17, and the product 46 may be placed above this.

[0023] The movable plate 17 is located directly below the fixed portion 14. As shown in FIG. 7 , the movable plate 17 has a front end 17A and a rear end 17B opposite the front end 17A. The movable plate 17 has a finger hook 17AA bent downward at the front end 17A. A store manager can pull the movable plate 17 from the second position P2 to the first position P1 by hooking a finger on the finger hook 17AA and pulling it toward themselves while unlocking a locking mechanism (not shown). The movable plate 17 is configured as one shelf (a movable shelf that can be pulled out in the front-to-rear direction) in the shelf 10, but is not limited to this. The movable plate 17 may, of course, be configured as a flat plate that can be pulled out in the front-to-rear direction relative to a box-shaped display fixture.

[0024] 1 and 7, the movable plate 17 has a standing piece 35 with a U-shaped cross section at its front end 17A, into which the insertion piece 42 of the partition plate 24 can be inserted. The standing piece 35 extends along the width direction W. The standing piece 35 is inserted into and fixed in a horizontal groove 36 provided in the front end 17A (see FIG. 10). The standing piece 35 is a groove provided in the front end 17A of the movable plate 17 according to the present invention, and is an example of a groove into which the insertion piece 42 of the partition plate 24 can be inserted.

[0025] 1, the partition board 24 is placed on the movable board 17 and can divide the movable board 17 in the front-to-rear direction. This allows multiple types of products 46 to be displayed on the movable board 17. As shown in FIG. 1, the partition board 24 is formed as a flat board extending in the vertical direction, and is installed on the movable board 17 so as to extend in the front-to-rear direction FR.

[0026] As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the partition plate 24 has a partition plate main body 51 which is an approximately trapezoidal flat plate with an inclined surface on the front side, an insertion piece 42 provided at the front end of the partition plate main body 51, a slot 45 provided at the lower part of the partition plate main body 51 and capable of accommodating the fixing portion 14 (cross plate 27 and flat plate 28), an engagement portion 47 provided at the middle portion and front side of the slot 45 in the fore-and-aft direction FR, an anchor portion 32 provided at the frontmost side of the slot 45, an expanded diameter portion 48 provided at the rear side of the slot 45, and a rear retaining portion 52 provided at the lower rear side of the partition plate main body 51, rearward of the slot 45.

[0027] As shown in FIG. 5 , the insertion piece 42 is formed in the shape of a claw that protrudes downward. The upper part of the insertion piece 42 acts as a stopper to prevent the product 46 from falling off the movable plate 17 and from tipping over. The upper part of the insertion piece 42 also has an insertion portion 42A into which a pop-up label bearing the price and other information of the product 46 can be inserted. The insertion piece 42 can be inserted into or detached from the upright piece 35 (groove) of the movable plate 17. Therefore, the partition plate 24 is configured to be detachable from the movable plate 17, as shown in FIG. 2 . Furthermore, the partition plate 24 can be positioned at any position on the movable plate 17 in the width direction W.

[0028] The slot 45 is formed on the side surface of the partition plate 24 in an elongated shape in the front-to-rear direction FR. This allows the fixed portion 14 (the cross plate 27 and the flat plate 28) to move relatively within this slot 45. In reality, as the movable plate 17 moves in the front-to-rear direction FR, the partition plate 24 moves together with it, but the position of the fixed portion 14 does not change. Therefore, as the movable plate 17 moves, the partition plate 24 moves smoothly together with the movable plate 17.

[0029] As shown in Figures 6 and 7 , the engaging portion 47 is provided in the slot 45 so as to protrude in a plate shape toward the fixed portion 14. The engaging portion 47 is formed to be elongated along the front-rear direction FR. As shown in Figure 9 , when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2 where it is stored on the rear side, the engaging portion 47 engages with one of the multiple grooves 31 of the fixed portion 14. As shown in Figure 7 , when the movable plate 17 is in the first position P1 where it is pulled out to the front side, the engaging portion 47 is in a position separated from the multiple grooves 31 of the fixed portion 14 and cannot engage with the multiple grooves 31.

[0030] 6 and 10 , the anchor portion 32 is formed in a claw shape that protrudes toward the rear direction R, and can tightly engage with the second surface 28B (recess 34) of the fixed portion 14 (flat plate 28). When the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2, the partition plate 24 is fixed to the fixed portion 14, and the partition plate 24 cannot be removed from the fixed portion 14 and the movable plate 17.

[0031] 5 and 6, the enlarged diameter portion 48 is formed so that the height of the gap is larger than the location of the engaging portion 47 in the slot 45. Also, as shown in Fig. 7, the height of the gap that defines the enlarged diameter portion 48 is formed larger than the height (thickness) of the fixed portion 14 (flat plate 28). Therefore, when the moving plate 17 is in the first position P1, the enlarged diameter portion 48 can accommodate the fixed portion 14 with a gap between them.

[0032] As shown in Fig. 1, the rear holding portion 52 is configured to be able to hook onto the rear end portion 17B of the movable plate 17. As shown in Fig. 6, the rear holding portion 52 is formed in a hook shape. Therefore, the partition plate 24 is fixed to the front end portion 17A of the movable plate 17 in the forward direction F by the insertion piece 42, and is fixed to the rear end portion 17B of the movable plate 17 in the rear direction R by the rear holding portion 52.

[0033] Next, the operation of the shelf 10 of this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 7 to 12. When a store manager wishes to replenish products 46, he or she releases the locking mechanism and pulls out the movable plate 17 in the forward direction F. This moves the movable plate 17 from the second position P2 shown in Figures 1 and 9 to the first position P1 shown in Figures 2 and 7. In this state, the store manager can manually move the products 46 remaining behind the movable plate 17 to the front, creating space behind the products 46 that have been moved to the front, and then replenish that space with new products 46.

[0034] 2, 7, and 8, in this state, the engaging portion 47 is not inserted into the groove 31 of the fixed portion 14, and the fixed portion 14 is housed in the expanded diameter portion 48. This allows the store manager to move the partition plate 24 to any position in the width direction W. Therefore, when the movable plate 17 is in the first position P1, the store manager can smoothly not only replenish products 46, but also replace the products 46 as needed.

[0035] After replenishing the products 46, the store manager moves the movable plate 17 from the first position P1 to the second position P2. At this time, the fixed portion 14 moves relatively on the movable plate 17 from the rear end 17B toward the front end 17A. This relative movement of the fixed portion 14 causes the engaging portion 47 to be inserted into the groove 31 of the fixed portion 14, as shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 . Furthermore, the rear portion of the partition plate 24 is inserted into the gap between the protruding pieces 44 of the second fixed portion 19. This restricts movement of the partition plate 24 in the width direction W on both its front and rear sides. Therefore, when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2, the partition plate 24 is prevented from shifting sideways, preventing the products 46 on display from collapsing and shifting out of position for customers visiting the store.

[0036] In this state, the anchor portions 32 of the partition plates 24 engage with the recesses 34 of the fixing portions 14, preventing the partition plates 24 from floating up from the fixing portions 14. This stabilizes the position of the products 46. This completes the forward delivery of the products 46 and the replenishment of the products 46.

[0037] According to this embodiment, the following can be said. The shelf 10 includes a fixed portion 14 having a band-like extension in the width direction W and a plurality of grooves 31 extending in the front-to-rear direction, a front end 17A, a rear end 17B, a movable plate 17 provided directly below the fixed portion 14, the movable plate 17 being movable between a first position P1 where the rear end 17B overlaps with the fixed portion 14 and a second position P2 where the front end 17A overlaps with the fixed portion 14, and on which products 46 are placed, and a partition plate 24 provided on the movable plate 17, the partition plate 24 having a slot 45 capable of accommodating the fixed portion 14, an engaging portion 47 provided on the front side of the slot 45, which protrudes into the slot 45 and is engageable with one of the plurality of grooves 31 when the movable plate 17 is at the second position P2, and an expanded diameter portion 48 provided on the rear side of the slot 45, which is capable of accommodating the fixed portion 14 with a gap remaining between it and the fixed portion 14 when the movable plate 17 is at the first position P1.

[0038] With this configuration, when the movable plate 17 is in the first position P1, the fixed portion 14 can be stored within the enlarged diameter portion 48, allowing the partition plate 24 to be freely moved in the width direction W, which intersects with the front-to-rear direction FR. This improves the store manager's work efficiency when, for example, replacing merchandise. Furthermore, when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2, the merchandise 46 is actually displayed facing the customer. In this state, the engaging portion 47 is engaged with one of the grooves 31, preventing the partition plate 24 from moving in the width direction W. This prevents the merchandise 46 from shifting in the width direction W when actually displayed.

[0039] The shelf 10 is provided with a second fixed portion 19 provided near the rear end portion 17B of the movable plate 17 at the second position P2, which engages with and holds the rear portion of the partition plate 24 when the movable plate 17 is at the second position P2.

[0040] According to this configuration, when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2, the rear of the partition plate 24 can be held by the second fixing portion 19. Therefore, when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2, the partition plate 24 can be firmly held by the groove portion 31 of the front fixing portion 14 and the rear second fixing portion 19. This makes it possible to prevent the products 46 from shifting in the width direction W when they are actually displayed (the second position).

[0041] The second fixing portion 19 has a plurality of second grooves extending in the front-rear direction FR, and when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2, the rear portion of the partition plate 24 is inserted into and held in one of the second grooves. This configuration makes it possible to reliably hold the rear portion of the partition plate 24 when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2.

[0042] The fixing portion 14 has a first surface 28A on which a plurality of groove portions 31 are provided, and a second surface 28B opposite the first surface 28A, and the partition plate 24 has an anchor portion 32 provided on the front side of the slot 45 and engaging with the second surface 28B of the fixing portion 14.

[0043] This configuration can prevent the partition plate 24 from floating up from the movable plate 17 when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2. This can prevent the products 46 from becoming misaligned when the products 46 are actually displayed (at the second position P2).

[0044] The partition plate 24 has an insertion piece 42 that can be inserted into or removed from a groove provided in the front end portion 17A of the movable plate 17. With this configuration, the partition plate 24 can be attached to or removed from the movable plate 17 with a single touch.

[0045] Next, a modified embodiment of the shelf 10 of this embodiment will be described. In the following embodiment, differences from the first embodiment will be mainly described, and descriptions of parts common to the first embodiment will be omitted. [Second Embodiment]

[0046] A shelf 10 according to a second embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 13 and 14. The shelf 10 is an example of a partition device according to the present invention. In this embodiment, the configuration of the second fixing portion 19 is different from that of the first embodiment, but the other parts are the same as those of the first embodiment.

[0047] 13 , the second fixing portion 19 is provided at a position corresponding to the rear end 17B of the movable plate 17 at the second position P2 and at a position spaced a predetermined distance from the rear end 17B of the movable plate 17 at the second position P2.

[0048] The cross member 40 and front member 43 of the second fixing portion 19 are provided across substantially the entire width of the movable plate 17 in the width direction W. As shown in FIG. 13 , the cross member 40 is formed in the shape of a rectangular pipe. The front member 43 is fixed to the cross member 40 with, for example, double-sided tape. The front member 43 is made of, for example, a strip-shaped elastic material. More specifically, the front member 43 is made of an elastic material having rubber-like elasticity, such as urethane foam, foam rubber, or hollow rubber. When the rear portion of the partition plate 24 is inserted into the front member 43, it elastically deforms, thereby holding the partition plate 24 immovable in the width direction W.

[0049] Next, the operation of the shelf 10 of this embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 13 and 14. When a store manager wishes to replenish products 46, he or she releases the locking mechanism and pulls out the movable plate 17 in the forward direction F. This moves the movable plate 17 from the second position P2 shown in Figures 1 and 14 to the first position P1 shown in Figures 2 and 13. In this state, the store manager can manually move any products 46 remaining behind the movable plate 17 to the front, creating a space behind the moved product 46, and then replenish that space with new products 46.

[0050] 13, the engaging portion 47 is not inserted into the groove 31 of the fixed portion 14, and the fixed portion 14 is housed in the expanded diameter portion 48. This allows the store manager to move the partition plate 24 to any position in the width direction W. Therefore, when the movable plate 17 is in the first position P1, the store manager can smoothly not only replenish products 46, but also replace the products 46 as needed.

[0051] After replenishing the products 46, the store manager moves the movable plate 17 from the first position P1 to the second position P2. At this time, the fixed part 14 moves relatively on the movable plate 17 from the rear end 17B toward the front end 17A. As a result of the relative movement of the fixed part 14, the engaging part 47 is inserted into one of the grooves 31 of the fixed part 14, as shown in FIG. 14 . Furthermore, the rear part of the partition plate 24 is inserted so as to be recessed into the front member 43 of the second fixed part 19. This restricts movement of the partition plate 24 in the width direction W on both its front and rear sides. Therefore, when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2, the partition plate 24 is prevented from shifting sideways, preventing the products 46 from collapsing and shifting.

[0052] In this state, the anchor portions 32 of the partition plates 24 engage with the recesses 34 of the fixing portions 14, preventing the partition plates 24 from floating up from the fixing portions 14. This stabilizes the position of the products 46. This completes the forward delivery of the products 46 and the replenishment of the products 46.

[0053] According to this embodiment, the following can be said: The second fixed portion 19 has an elastic body, and when the movable plate 17 is in the second position P2, the rear portion of the partition plate 24 is held by the elastic body in a state in which it bites into the elastic body and elastically deforms it.
