The fluidized bed reactor is fed with the feed stream F1 (having a weight ratio of refuse derived fuel relative to pure textile waste of 50:50) at a mass flow of 10 t / h at 4 bar(abs) and 35 °C. The feed stream F1 comprises 46.1 weight-% carbon, 6.6 weight-% hydrogen, 45.1 weight-% oxygen and 2.2 weight-% nitrogen. Additionally, gasification agents are injected into the fluidized bed reactor, enabling a gasification reaction at a temperature of 800 °C. The gasification agents are steam with a mass flow of 5 t / h at 5.4 bar(abs) and 180 °C, as well as oxygen with a mass flow of 2.58 t / h at -30 °C at 6 bar(abs). The resulting raw synthesis gas stream S1 is sent to the top of the entrained flow gasifier whereby being kept at a temperature of 800 °C as a second stage and injected via the burner (= an external-mixing atomizer). Here, additional oxygen at a mass flow of 2.9 t / h at 6 bar(abs) and 100 °C is used to increase the temperature up to 1350 °C at the gasifier outlet and convert remaining hydrocarbons, tars, and soot into synthesis gas. The resulting high-temperature synthesisgas stream S2, comprising CO, H2O, CO2, H2, and traces of CH4, N2 and NH3, is washed with water and dried in order to reduce the amount of ash and tars. The raw synthesis gas exits the wash & drying step at a temperature of 25 °C. The acid gas removal, enabled by an amine scrubbing, is used to separate acids like CO2 with a mass flow of 6.2 t / h from the raw synthesis gas. The obtained clean synthesis gas stream S3 comprises 46.7 volume-% H2, 52.6 volume-% CO, 0.7 volume-% H2O at a total mass flow of 7.3 t / h. Subsequently, the stream S3 was subjected to a separation stage, using a cold box, for obtaining CO in a gas stream SI1 and H2 in a gas stream SI2.Example 2The second example is a two-step gasification process comprising a fluidized bed reactor, followed by an entrained flow gasifier, converting a feed stream F1 of refuse derived fuel and pieces of textile material (feedstock A) into synthesis gas. The fluidized bed reactor is fed with the feed stream (having a weight ratio of refuse derived fuel relative to pure textile waste of 90:10) at a mass flow of 10 t / h at 4 bar(abs) and 35 °C. The feed stream F1 comprises 41 .2 weight-% carbon, 7.7 weight-% hydrogen, 49.0 weight-% oxygen and 2.1 weight-% nitrogen. Additionally, gasification agents are injected into the fluidized bed gasifier, enabling the gasification reaction at a temperature of 800 °C. The gasification agents are steam with a mass flow of 5 t / h at 5.4 bar(abs) and 180 °C, as well as oxygen with a mass flow of 2.75 t / h at -30 °C at 6 bar(abs). The resulting raw synthesis gas stream S1 is sent to the top of an entrained flow gasifier whereby being kept at a temperature of 800 °C as a second stage and injected via the burner (= an external-mixing atomizer). Here, additional oxygen at a mass flow of 2.7 t / h at 6 bar(abs) and 100 °C is used to increase the temperature up to 1350 °C at the gasifier outlet and convert remaining hydrocarbons, tars, and soot into synthesis gas. The resulting high-tempera- ture synthesis gas stream S2, comprising CO, H2O, CO2, H2, and traces of CH4, N2 and NH3, is washed with water and dried in order to reduce the amount of water, ash and tars. The raw synthesis gas exits the wash & drying step at a temperature of 25 °C. The acid gas removal, enabled by an amine scrubbing, is used to separate acids like CO2 with a mass flow of 6.1 t / h from the raw synthesis gas. The obtained clean synthesis gas stream S3 comprises of 50.3 volume- % H2, 48.9 volume-% CO, 0.8 volume-% H2O at a total mass flow of 6.2 t / h. Subsequently, the stream S3 was subjected to a separation stage, using a cold box, for obtaining CO in a gas stream SI1 and H2 in a gas stream SI2.Example 3The third example is a two-step gasification process comprising a fluidized bed reactor, followed by an entrained flow gasifier, converting two feed streams: stream F1 consisting of refuse derived fuel and pieces of textile material (feedstock A) as well as stream F2 (=feedstock B) of textile recycling residues into a synthesis gas. The fluidized bed reactor is fed with the first feed stream F1 (having a weight ratio of refuse derived fuel relative to pure textile waste of 50:50) at a mass flow of 10 t / h with 4 bar and 35 °C. The gasification agents are steam with a mass flow of 5 t / h at 5.4 bar(abs) and 180 °C, as well as oxygen with a mass flow of 2.65 t / h at -30 °C and 6 bar(abs). The resulting raw synthesis gas stream S1 is sent to the top of the entrained flow gasifier whereby being kept at a temperature of 800 °C as a second stage and injected via a burner (=three-fluid nozzle). In the burner, the second feed stream F2 (= feedstock B of textile recycling residue) is added with a mass flow of 10 t / h at 100°C and 5 bar(abs). The second feed stream F2 (=feedstock B) is atomized with additional oxygen at a mass flow of 10.8 t / h at 6 bar(abs) and 100 °C, which is used to increase the temperature up to 1350 °C at the gasifier outlet and convert the second feed stream and remaining hydrocarbons, tars, and soot into a synthesis gas. The resulting high-temperature synthesis gas stream S2, comprising CO, H2O, CO2, H2, and traces of CH4, N2 and NH3, is washed with water and dried in order to reduce the amount of water, ash and tars. The raw synthesis gas exits the wash & drying step at a temperature of 25 °C. The acid gas removal, enabled by an amine scrubbing, is used to separate acids like CO2 with a mass flow of 6.8 t / h from the raw synthesis gas. The obtained clean synthesis gas stream S3 comprises 45.1 volume-% H2, 51.4 volume-% CO, 3.5 volume-% H2O at a total mass flow of 23.9 t / h. Subsequently, the stream S3 was subjected to a separation stage, using a cold box, for obtaining CO in a gas stream SI1 and H2 in a gas stream SI2.Example 4The fourth example is a two-step gasification process comprising a fluidized bed reactor, followed by an entrained flow gasifier, converting two feed streams: a stream F1 of refuse derived fuel and pieces of textile material (feedstock A) as well as a stream F2 textile recycling residues (feedstock B) into a synthesis gas. Therefore, the fluidized bed reactor is fed with the first feed stream (having a weight ratio of refuse derived fuel relative to pure textile waste of 50:50) at a mass flow of 10 t / h at 4 bar(abs) and 35 °C. The feed stream F1 comprises 46.1 weight-% carbon, 6.6 weight-% hydrogen, 45.1 weight-% oxygen and 2.2 weight-% nitrogen. Additionally, gasification agents are injected into the fluidized bed gasifier, enabling a gasification reaction at a temperature of 800 °C. The gasification agents are steam with a mass flow of 5 t / h at 5.4 bar(abs) and 180 °C, as well as oxygen with a mass flow of 2.65 t / h at -30°C and 6 bar(abs). The resulting raw synthesis gas stream S1 is sent to the top of the entrained flow gasifier whereby being kept at a temperature of 800 °C as a second stage and injected via a burner (=three-fluid nozzle). In the burner, the second feed stream F2 (=feedstock B - textile recycling residue) is added with a mass flow of 1 t / h at 100 °C and 5 bar(abs). The second feed stream F2 is atomized with additional oxygen at a mass flow of 3.7 t / h at 6 bar(abs) and 100°C, which is used to increase the temperature up to 1350 °C at the gasifier outlet and convert the second feed stream and remaining hydrocarbons, tars, and soot into a synthesis gas. The resulting high-temperature synthesis gas stream S2, comprising CO, H2O, CO2, H2, and traces of CH4, N2 and NH3, is washed with water and dried in order to reduce the amount of ash and tars. The raw synthesis gas exits the wash & drying step at a temperature of 25 °C. The acid gas removal, enabled by an amine wash, is used to separate acids like CO2 with a mass flow of 6.3 t / hfrom the raw synthesis gas. The obtained clean synthesis gas stream S3 comprises 46.2 vol- ume-% H2, 52.3 volume-% CO, 1 .5 volume-% H2O at a total mass flow of 8.9 t / h. Subsequently, the stream S3 was subjected to a separation stage, using a cold box, for obtaining CO in a gas stream SI1 and H2 in a gas stream SI2.Example 5The fifth example is a two-step gasification process comprising a fluidized bed reactor, followed by an entrained flow gasifier, converting two feed streams: F1 of refuse derived fuel and pieces of textile material (feedstock A) as well as a stream F2 (= feedstock B) of textile recycling residues into a synthesis gas. The fluidized bed reactor is fed with the first feed stream F1 (having a weight ratio of refuse derived fuel relative to pure textile waste of 90:10) at a mass flow of 10 t / h at 4 bar(abs) and 35 °C. The feed stream F1 comprises 41 .2 weight-% carbon, 7.7 weight-% hydrogen, 49.0 weight-% oxygen and 2.1 weight-% nitrogen. Additionally, gasification agents are injected into the fluidized bed gasifier, enabling a gasification reaction at a temperature of 800 °C. The gasification agents are steam with a mass flow of 5 t / h at 5.4 bar(abs) and 180 °C, as well as oxygen with a mass flow of 2.75 t / h at -30 °C at 6 bar(abs). The resulting raw synthesis gas stream S1 is sent to the top of an entrained flow gasifier whereby being kept at a temperature of 800 °C as second stage and injected via a burner (=three-fluid nozzle). In the burner, the second feed stream F2 (=feedstock B - textile recycling residue) is added with a mass flow of 10 t / h at 100 °C and 5 bar(abs). The second feed stream F2 is atomized with additional oxygen at a mass flow of 10.5 t / h at 6 bar and 100°C, which is used to increase the temperature up to 1350 °C at the gasifier outlet and convert the second feed stream and remaining hydrocarbons, tars, and soot into a synthesis gas. The acid gas removal, enabled by an amine scrubbing, is used to separate acids like CO2 with a mass flow of 7.1 t / h from the raw synthesis gas. The obtained clean synthesis gas stream S3 comprises of 46.9 volume-% H2, 49.5 volume-% CO, 3.6 volume-% H2O at a total mass flow of 22.7 t / h. Subsequently, the stream S3 was subjected to a separation stage, using a cold box, for obtaining CO in a gas stream SI1 and H2 in a gas stream SI2.Example 6The sixth example is a two-step gasification process comprising a fluidized bed reactor, followed by an entrained flow gasifier, converting two feed streams: F1 of refuse derived fuel and pieces of textile material (feedstock A) as well as a stream F2 (= feedstock B) of textile recycling residues into a synthesis gas. Additionally, gasificationagents are injected into the fluidized bed gasifier, enabling the gasification reaction at a temperature of 800 °C. The gasification agents are steam with a mass flow of 5 t / h at 5.4 bar(abs) and 180 °C, as well as oxygen with a mass flow of 2.75 t / h at -30 °C and 6 bar(abs). The resulting raw synthesis gas stream S1 is sent to the top of the entrained flow gasifier whereby being kept at a temperature of 800 °C as a second stage and injected via a burner (=three-fluid nozzle). In the burner, the second feed stream F2 (=feedstock B of textile recycling residue) is added with a mass flow of 1 t / h at 100 °C and 5 bar(abs). The second feed stream F2 is atomized with additional oxygen at a mass flow of 3.5 t / h at 6 bar(abs) and 100 °C, which is used to increase the temperature up to 1350 °C at the gasifier outlet and convert the second feed stream and remaining hydrocarbons, tars, and soot into synthesis gas. The resulting high-temperature synthesis gas stream S2, comprising CO, H2O, CO2, H2, and traces of CH4, N2 and NH3, is washed with water and dried in order to reduce the amount of ash and tars. The raw synthesis gas exits the wash & drying step at a temperature of 25°C. The acid gas removal, enabled by an amine scrubbing, is used to separate acids like CO2 with a mass flow of 6.3 t / h from the raw synthesis gas. The obtained clean synthesis gas stream S3 comprises of 49.5 volume-% H2, 49.0 volume- % CO, 1 .5 volume-% H2O at a total mass flow of 7.8 t / h. Subsequently, the stream S3 was subjected to a separation stage, using a cold box, for obtaining CO in a gas stream SI1 and H2 in a gas stream SI2.Description of the figureFigure 1 is a schematic representation of the process according to embodiments of the present invention. The gaseous stream F1 comprising O2 and steam is introduced into GR1 (first gasification reactor = fluidized bed reactor) together with RDF (refused derived fuel) and subjected to gasification at a temperature in the range of from 350 to 1000 °C and at a pressure in the range of from 1 to 200 bar(abs) in GR1 . The stream S1 comprising CO, H2, CO2, solid particulates, hydrocarbons, and optionally H2S is then withdrawn from GR1 and transferred to GR2 (second gasification reactor = entrained flow reactor) via a transfer means, preferably a pipe, and introduced, preferably with a nozzle or atomizer, in GR2. The temperature in the pipe during the transfer is in the range of from 500 to 900 °C. A gaseous stream F2 comprising O2 is introduced into GR2. The gasification in GR2 is performed at a temperature in the range of from 1000 to 1700 °C and at a pressure in the range of from 1 to 200 bar(abs) for obtaining the raw synthesis gas stream S2 comprising in addition to CO and H2, CO2, H2O, solid particulates, and optionally H2S. In GR1 , FA(i) and / or FA(ii) can further be introduced. In GR2, FB can be further introduced as well. It is in any case required that at least one of the feedstock A (FA(i) and / or FA(ii)) and the feedstock B (FB) be used in the process. FA(i) is obtained after shredding and / or cutting in SCU(i) the textile waste material (TWM). FA(ii) is obtained after sorting in S(ii) the pieces of textile waste material comprised in FA(i), this is the reject stream, while F(R) comprises recyclable polymers such as PA6, PET and / or cellulose-material. FB is obtained after the recycling of F(R) in CRP(jj), which produces P(R) comprising one or more oligomers and / or monomers from the recyclable polymers such as caprolactam, glucose, TPA and / or DMT. The stream S2 is then subjected to a purification stage (PS(b)) to remove the solid particulates, water, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide if present. The purified gas stream S3, comprisingCO and H2, S3 being depleted in CO2, H2O, solid particulates and H2S, if present in S2, compared to S2, is obtained and subjected to a separation stage SS(d) for obtaining a stream SI1 comprising CO and a stream SI2 comprising H2. Prior to be separated in SS(d), the CO to H2 molar ratio in the purified gas stream S3 can be adjusted according to the industrial need. The streams SI1 and / or SI2 or a portion of SI1 and / or SI2 can then be subjected to a chemical conversion or sequence of chemical conversions in CCU(e)) for obtaining one or more chemical products that can be used for textile production in TPU. The obtained textiles eventually will become textile waste material together with the scraps and so on from the textile industry. Hence, the process according to the present invention permits to optimize the loop in order to render the textile industry more sustainable in view of the use of all the textile waste material, and not only the valuable recyclable polymers, but also the rejects and residue fractions, in order to produce new polymers and new textile materials.Cited literatureWO 2023 / 28014 A1EP 0 575 860 A1EP 0 568 882 A 1WO 96 / 8614 A1WO 96 / 18612 A1WO 2023 / 187045 A1WO 2023 / 187049 A1 WO 2023 / 187036 A1 WO2023 / 187043 A1 Elaine Barnard et aL, Chemolytic depolymerisation of PET: a review, Green Chem., 2021 , 23, 3765Ademola Bolanle Raheem et aL, Current developments in chemical recycling of post-consumer polyethylene terephthalate wastes for new materials production: A review, Journal of Cleaner Production 225 (2019) 1052-1064Daniel Paszum et aL, Chemical Recycling of Poly(ethylene terephthalate), Ind.
