Abstract
Description
Alloy parts and products
[0001] The present invention relates to an alloy member and product having excellent corrosion resistance.
[0002] Traditionally, stainless steel and the like have been used in various fields as general-purpose materials. In recent years, studies have been conducted to improve corrosion resistance by forming a passive film or the like. Furthermore, development of metal materials with excellent corrosion resistance has also been promoted, and for example, alloys using metals with excellent corrosion resistance, such as Ti, have been developed (Patent Document 1). Furthermore, technology using highly reactive liquids has been applied to the decomposition of hazardous substances and the extraction of specific substances, and is expected to be applied to geothermal power generation in the future. For example, development of components with excellent corrosion resistance against supercritical water has been promoted (Non-Patent Document 1).

[0004] Taro Oe et al., "Corrosion Tests of Noble Metals and Ti-IrO2-Ta2O5 in Supercritical Water and Subcritical Water Oxidation Environments Containing Hydrochloric Acid," Materials and Environment, Vol. 56, No. 8, pp. 367-372, 2007.
[0005] However, all of these materials lacked versatility and were still not satisfactory in terms of corrosion resistance. For example, forming a passive film on stainless steel required a complicated process, and the formation method was not easy, resulting in an unsatisfactory result. Furthermore, alloys also had problems, such as difficulty in workability and deterioration of mechanical properties due to the generation of unintended crystalline phases, due to the difficult formation method. Furthermore, the corrosion resistance of various materials, such as stainless steels, Ni-based superalloys, Ti-based alloys, and precious metals, to supercritical water has been investigated, but problems have been found in corrosion resistance, or, while precious metals have excellent corrosion resistance, problems have been encountered, such as deterioration of mechanical properties.
[0006] The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and has as its object to provide an alloy member having excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
[0007] The alloy member according to the present invention is an alloy member containing Ru, a ferromagnetic element, and a metal other than Ru and the ferromagnetic element, and contains Ru at 28 atomic % or more and 97 atomic % or less and the ferromagnetic element at 2 atomic % or more and 77 atomic % or less.

[0016] An alloy member according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below. This alloy member is a corrosion-resistant member containing Ru, a ferromagnetic element, and a metal other than Ru and the ferromagnetic element. This alloy member contains 28 atomic % to 97 atomic % of Ru and 2 atomic % to 77 atomic % of the ferromagnetic element.
[0017] The alloy member may contain 50% by volume or more of the HCP phase. Preferably, the alloy member contains 75% by volume or more of the HCP phase. This configuration further improves the corrosion resistance of the alloy member.
[0018] In addition, in this alloy member, the metal can be at least one of Mo and W. This configuration can further improve the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of the alloy member. At least one of Mo and W can be contained in the alloy member in an amount of 1 atomic % or more and 40 atomic % or less.
[0019] The alloy member may also contain Re as one of the metals. By including Re, the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of the alloy member can be further improved. Re may be contained in the alloy member in an amount of 1 atomic % or more and 40 atomic % or less.
