[0046] The specification can use phrases such as "in one embodiment," "in another embodiment," "in yet another embodiment," or "in other embodiments," which can refer to one or more of the same or different embodiments of the application.
[0047] Embodiments of the application provide an electronic device. In embodiments of the application, the electronic device can refer to a smart phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, and the like. The specific type of the electronic device is not limited in the application. In FIGS. 1-7, the electronic device is taken as a notebook computer for example.
[0048] As shown in FIGS. 1-3, the electronic device includes a first body 1, a second body 2, a connecting device 3, and a display device 4. The second body 2 has a first face 21 and a second face 22 opposite to the first face 21. The connecting device 3 is connected to the first body 1 and the second body 2 respectively, and is used to adjust the positional relationship between the first body 1 and the second body 2. The display device 4 has a display face and has a first state and a second state which can be switched. In the first state, the part of the display face forming the first face 21 has a first size, and the part of the display face forming the second face 22 has a second size. In the second state, the part of the display face forming the first face 21 has a third size, and the part of the display face forming the second face 22 has a fourth size. The first size and the third size are different, and the second size and the fourth size are different.
[0049] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the first body 1 can be provided with an input assembly 5. In the state where the first body 1 and the second body 2 are in the relative positional relationship, the first input assembly 5 is opposite to the one face.
[0050] The second surface 22 of the second body 2 can be understood as the side of the second body 2 facing away from the first body 1, and the first surface 21 can be understood as the side of the second body 2 facing the first body 1, that is, the second surface 22 is the inner side of the second body 2, and the first surface 21 is the outer side of the second body 2. The display surface can be understood as having a first display surface and a second display surface, the first display surface being the part of the display surface corresponding to the first surface 21 of the second body 2, and the second display surface being the part of the display surface corresponding to the second surface 22 of the second body 2.
[0051] The connecting device 3 can be understood as a component capable of changing the relative position relationship between the first body 1 and the second body 2. The connecting device 3 can include a rotating shaft assembly, a gear assembly, or the like. The present application does not make specific limitations on this, as long as the relative position relationship between the first body 1 and the second body 2 can be changed.
[0052] The display device 4 can include a flexible screen, which can adjust the size of the first display surface and the size of the second display surface by rolling up or unrolling. In some other embodiments, the display device 4 can include a plurality of rigid screens, and different rigid screens can correspond to the first display surface and the second display surface, respectively, to enable the first surface 21 and / or the second surface 22 of the second body 2 to present display content.
[0053] The electronic device can have a closed state and an open state. As shown in FIGS. 1-7, the electronic device shown in FIG. 1 is in a closed state, and the electronic devices shown in FIGS. 2-7 are in an open state. The first body 1 and the second body 2 of the electronic device in the closed state are engaged, and the second body 2 of the electronic device in the open state can be rotated relative to the first body 1 to open to a preset angle.
[0054] The display device 4 can specifically include a first full display state, a second full display state, and an intermediate display state. The first full display state can be understood as the display surface being all the first display surface, and the size of the second display surface being 0. The second full display state can be understood as the display surface being all the second display surface, and the size of the first display surface being 0. The intermediate display state can be understood as part of the display surface being arranged corresponding to the first surface 21, and part of the display surface being arranged corresponding to the second surface 22.
[0055] The first state can be any one of the first full display state, the second full display state and the intermediate display state, and the second state can be any one of the first full display state, the second full display state and the intermediate display state. Specifically, the first state and the second state cannot be the first full display state or the second full display state at the same time, that is, if the first state is the first full display state, the second state can be any one of the second full display state and the intermediate display state; that is, if the first state is the second full display state, the second state can be any one of the first full display state and the intermediate display state; that is, if the first state is the intermediate state, any one of the first full display state, the second full display state and the intermediate display state. It should be noted that when the first state and the second state are both the intermediate display state, the first size and the third size are different, and the second size and the fourth size are different.
[0056] Therefore, the switching between the first state and the second state can be understood as switching between the intermediate display state and the intermediate display state, or switching between the intermediate display state and the first full display state, or switching between the intermediate display state and the second full display state, or switching between the first full display state and the second full display state.
[0057] As shown in FIGS. 2-7, the display orientations of the first display surface and the second display surface are opposite, and the first display surface and the second display surface overlap in the display orientation direction.
[0058] The first body 1 can include a first accommodation space for accommodating at least part of the display device 4, especially when the display device 4 includes a flexible screen, part of the flexible screen can be accommodated in the first accommodation space in a rolled manner, and the display device 4 accommodated in the first space can be formed with a virtual input area such as a virtual keyboard, a virtual touchpad, etc.
[0059] The connecting device 3 can include a second accommodation space for accommodating at least part of the display device 4, so that more space can be provided in the electronic device to accommodate the display device 4.
[0060] By arranging the display surfaces of the display device 4 to correspond to the first surface 21 and the second surface 22 opposite to the first surface 21 of the second body 2 respectively, the display content can be displayed on both opposite surfaces of the second body 2 of the electronic device, so that users on both sides of the electronic device can see the display surface, and the display surface can still be seen after the second body 2 of the electronic device is closed, without the need to open the second body 2 of the electronic device to use it. The use mode is more diverse, and when the display device 4 is in the first state and the second state, the sizes of the part of the display surface corresponding to the first surface 21 and the part of the display surface corresponding to the second surface 22 are different, which can realize the adjustment of the sizes of the parts of the display surface corresponding to different surfaces, and meet the various use requirements of users.
[0061] In some embodiments, the second body 2 has the same size when the display device 4 is in the first state and when the display device 4 is in the second state.
[0062] In this way, the size of the second body 2 can not change with the switching of the display device 4 between the first state and the second state, i.e., the size of the second body 2 is fixed, which can simplify the structural design and manufacturing cost of the second body 2.
[0063] It can be understood that the size of the second body 2 described above does not change with the change of the first state and the second state, which corresponds to the display surface of the first surface 21 and the second surface 22 can change.
[0064] In some embodiments, the display device 4 also has a third state, in which the display surface forms the first surface 21 and the display surface does not form the second surface 22. The third state is the first full display state described above.
[0065] In this way, the switching between the display surface not forming the second surface 22 and the display surface forming the second surface 22 can be realized by switching between the first state, the second state and the third state, or by switching between the third state and one of the first state and the second state.
[0066] In the first state and / or the second state described above, the display surface can be formed on the first surface 21 at the same time as the second surface 22, and when the state is switched, the third state in which the display surface does not form the second surface 22 can be switched to the first state and / or the second state in which the display surface forms the second surface 22.
[0067] The switching sequence between at least two of the first state, the second state and the third state can be that the third state is switched to the second state, or the third state is switched to the first state, or the third state is switched to the second state and then switched to the first state, or the third state is switched to the first state and then switched to the second state.
[0068] In some embodiments, the display device 4 in the first state, the size of the part of the display surface forming the second surface 22 and the size of the second surface 22 satisfy a matching relationship; or
[0069] The display device 4 in the second state, the size of the part of the display surface forming the second surface 22 and the size of the second surface 22 satisfy a matching relationship.
[0070] Thus, by switching between the first state and the second state, the size of the part of the display surface forming the second surface 22 can be changed to satisfy a matching relationship with the size of the second surface 22, so that the display surface can be more present on the second surface 22, meeting the user's use requirements.
[0071] The size of the part of the display surface forming the second surface 22 satisfying a matching relationship with the size of the second surface 22 can be understood as the area of the second surface 22 excluding the frame being the same as the area of the part of the display surface forming the second surface 22.
[0072] In the case that one of the first state and the second state of the display device 4 can make the size of the part of the display surface forming the second surface 22 satisfy a matching relationship with the size of the second surface 22, the other of the first state and the second state makes the display surface can be formed on the first surface 21 at the same time on the second surface 22, thereby, when the display device 4 is switched between the first state and the second state, the second display surface can be switched between partial display and full screen display.
[0073] In some embodiments, the display principle of the part of the display surface forming the first surface 21 and the part forming the second surface 22 is different.
[0074] Thus, the display device 4 can be made to adaptively reduce the manufacturing cost of the display device 4 on the basis of meeting the user's use requirements.
[0075] Specifically, the display principle of the part of the display surface forming the first surface 21 can be one of liquid crystal display (LCD) and LED backlight display, and the display principle of the part of the display surface forming the second surface 22 can be organic light-emitting diode display (OLED).
[0076] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 7, the size of the second body 2 when the display device 4 is in the first state is smaller than the size when the display device 4 is in the second state, and the second size is smaller than the fourth size.
[0077] Thus, the size of the second body 2 can change with the switching of the display device 4 between the first state and the second state, that is, the size of the second body 2 can be flexibly adjusted with the change of the state, so that when the user uses the electronic device, the size of the second body 2 can be adjusted according to the use scene, such as increasing the size of the second body 2, so that the user can intuitively see a larger display surface, improving the user's use experience.
[0078] The size of the second body 2 can include at least width, height and other parameters.
[0079] As shown in FIG. 1, when the electronic device is in the closed state, the height of the second body 2 can be a first height. In combination with FIGS. 2-7, the display devices 4 shown in the figures are all in the intermediate display state, and the electronic devices are all in the open state. The height of the second body 2 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 can be a second height, the height of the second body 2 shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 can be a third height, and the height of the second body 2 shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 can be a fourth height. The first height, the second height, the third height, and the fourth height are arranged in order from small to large, or the first height and the second height are equal, and the second height, the third height, and the fourth height are arranged in order from small to large. Thus, when the electronic device is in the open state, the second body 2 can have multiple sizes, and the size of the second body 2 can be adjusted according to the user's needs.
[0080] As shown in FIG. 4, the portion of the display surface corresponding to the first surface 21 can occupy one-third of the size of the entire first surface 21, which can achieve a design effect of visual separation.
[0081] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1-7, the second body 2 includes a fixed part 23 and a movable part 24. The fixed part 23 is connected to the connecting device 3. The movable part 24 is disposed between the fixed part 23 and the display surface and is connected to the display surface. The movable part 24 can move relative to the fixed part 23.
[0082] In this way, the size of the second body 2 can be increased or decreased by the movement of the movable part 24 relative to the fixed part 23, so that the size of the second body 2 has flexible adjustment, which can adapt to different needs of users.
[0083] The movement of the movable part 24 relative to the fixed part 23 can be understood as a lifting movement, i.e., the movable part 24 can be lowered relative to the fixed part 23, and the movable part 24 can be raised relative to the fixed part 23. As shown in FIGS. 2, 4, and 6, it can be seen that the movable part 24 moves upward relative to the fixed part 23.
[0084] As shown in FIG. 4, the movable part 24 moves upward relative to the fixed part 23, and the size of the second body 2 increases accordingly. The movable part 24 can be exposed to the second body 2, so that the movable part 24 can be observed by the user.
[0085] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 2-7, the movable part 24 is sleeved on the side of the fixed part 23 away from the connecting device 3, and the end of the movable part 24 away from the fixed part 23 is used to support the joint of the portion forming the first surface 21 and the portion forming the second surface 22 of the display surface.
[0086] Thus, the display surface can be stably supported by the end of the movable member 24 away from the fixed member 23, so that the part of the display surface corresponding to the first surface 21 and the part of the display surface corresponding to the second surface 22 can be kept in the state of being attached to the second body 2, and the structural stability of the display surface is increased.
[0087] The opposite two side surfaces of the movable member 24 can be configured as attachment surfaces, and in the process of moving the display device 4 by the movable member 24, the display surface of the display device 4 can be kept attached to the attachment surfaces of the movable member 24. The attachment surfaces can be configured as flat surfaces to ensure the attachment stability.
[0088] In some other embodiments, the fixed member 23 can be sleeved on the outside of the movable member 24, the movable member 24 is located in the middle of the fixed member 23, and can move up and down relative to the fixed member 23.
[0089] In some embodiments, the connecting device 3 is arranged at the first end of the second body 2, and the electronic device further comprises a driving device (not shown in the figure), which is arranged at the second end of the second body 2 away from the connecting device 3 and connected with the display surface, and is used to drive the display surface to act so that the display device 4 can be switched between the first state and the second state.
[0090] The driving device and the connecting device 3 arranged in this way have a more reasonable structure, and the display surface can be stably moved by the driving device, so that the display surface can be stably switched between the first state and the second state.
[0091] The driving device can include a driving shaft, which can act on the display device 4 so that the display device 4 can be stably switched between the first state and the second state. The driving device can also include a driving motor, which can provide driving force for the driving shaft, so as to drive the display device 4 to move.
[0092] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 2-7, the second body 2 further has a third surface 25, the third surface 25 is connected with the first surface 21 and the second surface 22 respectively, and the size of the part of the display surface forming the third surface 25 does not change in the process of switching between the first state and the second state.
[0093] Thus, the display surface can be displayed by cooperating with the parts corresponding to the first surface 21, the second surface 22 and the third surface 25 respectively, and a better display effect can be achieved.
[0094] The connecting direction of the third surface 25 and the first surface 21 and the extending direction of the connecting device 3 satisfy a perpendicular condition; or, the connecting direction of the third surface 25 and the first surface 21 and the extending direction of the connecting device 3 satisfy a parallel condition. Exemplarily, as shown in FIGS. 2-7, the connecting direction of the third surface 25 and the first surface 21 and the extending direction of the connecting device 3 satisfy a perpendicular condition.
[0095] In a case where the size of the part of the display surface forming the third surface 25 is unchanged in the first state and the second state switching process, the first state and the second state are both intermediate display states, and in the first state and the second state, one part of the display surface is arranged corresponding to the first surface 21, and the other part of the display surface is arranged corresponding to the second surface 22.
[0096] In some embodiments, the connecting device 3 is used to adjust the positional relationship of the first body 1 and the second body 2, and the positional relationship at least includes the included angle of the first body 1 and the second body 2, and the size of the second body 2 changes with the adjustment of the positional relationship of the first body 1 and the second body 2.
[0097] In this way, the included angle between the first body 1 and the second body 2 can be adjusted by the connecting device 3, and the size of the second body 2 can also change with the adjustment of the included angle between the first body 1 and the second body 2, and the linkage between the change of the included angle between the first body 1 and the second body 2 and the change of the size of the second body 2 is realized.
[0098] The size of the second body 2 can increase with the increase of the included angle of the first body 1 and the second body 2, so that more display content can be seen through the second body 2 with gradually increasing size as the user gradually opens the electronic device, and the user experience is improved.
[0099] The embodiments of the present application also provide a control method. The control method can be applied to an electronic device. In the embodiments of the present application, the electronic device can be different electronic devices such as a smart phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, etc. The present application does not limit what kind of device the electronic device is, and FIGS. 1-7 take the electronic device as a notebook computer for example.
[0100] As shown in FIG. 8, the control method includes steps S101-S103.
[0101] Step S101: determining a first display surface corresponding to the first surface 21 of the second body 2 of the electronic device and a second display surface corresponding to the second surface 22 of the second body 2 of the electronic device.
[0102] Step S102: determining a first part and a second part of the display content.
