A component for an interior of a vehicle comprising a seat comprising: a head rest assembly configured to be coupled to the seat comprising: a head rest comprising an interface; a frame comprising an interface and configured for attachment to the seat; a mechanism between the head rest and the frame; wherein the head rest is configured to be coupled to the frame for movement relative to the seat; wherein the mechanism is configured (a) to prevent movement of the head rest relative to the seat and (b) to facilitate movement of the head rest relative to the seat.

2. The component of Claim 1 wherein the head rest assembly comprises a housing and a pad.

3. The component of Claim 2 wherein the mechanism is provided in the housing.

4. The component of Claim 1 wherein the head rest assembly comprises an adjustable head rest.

5. The component of Claim 1 wherein the head rest assembly comprises a composite interface comprising the interface of the head rest and the interface of the frame.

6. The component of Claim 2 wherein at least one of (a) the head rest; (b) the mechanism; (c) the frame; and / or (d) the housing comprises a polymer material.

7. The component of Claim 6 wherein the polymer material comprises a polypropylene material.
