Description

[0001] DRAWSTRING SACK AND BAG

[0002] Technical Field

[0003] The invention relates to drawstring sack and bags that are used by users to carry items on their backs or on one shoulder.

[0004] The invention particularly relates to a drawstring sack and bag that is made recyclable by connecting the carrying rope passed through the mouth of the sack or bag to the bottom corner of the sack or bag through a recyclable eyelet made of plastic.

[0005] State of Art

[0006] Today, drawstring sacks and bags are generally used in sports chain stores and football clubs' fan stores to carry the products purchased by consumers, and to place the personal belongings of runners in marathon events. Drawstring sacks or bags are generally a carrying device that is closed by tightening (drawstring) the mouth with a rope and carried on the back or on one shoulder by means of said rope. These sacks or bags have become preferred in daily life due to their ease of use and lightness.

[0007] In drawstring sacks or bags, a rope is passed through the mouth of the rectangular sack or bag, and this rope, which draws the mouth of the sack or bag, is also fixed to at least one lower corner of the sack or bag to enable the sack or bag to be carried on the back or shoulder. In order to fix said rope to the bottom corner of the sack or bag, an eyelet made of metal or nickel is used on the sack or bag. After said eyelet is attached to the sack or bag, the rope passed over the mouth of the sack or bag is passed through said eyelet and knotted.

[0008] In the present applications, when you want to recycle drawstring sacks, the recycling process is negatively affected due to the use of eyelets made of metal or nickel. Because said eyelet made of metal or nickel needs to be removed from the bag and this slows down the recycling process. At the same time, most consumers throw away the bag in one piece as plastic waste because they do not pay attention to this metal / nickel eyelet detail. For this reason, in the state of art, there was a need for a structure that enables drawstring bags to be completely recyclable as plastic waste. In the research carried out in the literature, document numbered USD355300 can be shown as an example of the state of the art. Said document relates to a duffle bag. In said duffle bag, a fabric belt was attached to the bag body in order to fix the rope to the bag, and a metal piece was passed through said belt to ensure that the rope was fixed to this piece. However, the way the rope said duffle bag is fixed to the bag body is costly and challenging as extra materials are used.

[0009] As a result, the existence of the above problems and the inadequacy of existing solutions necessitated a development in the relevant technical field.

[0010] Object of the Invention

[0011] The present invention relates to drawstring sacks and bags that eliminate the above- mentioned disadvantages and bring new advantages to the relevant technical field.

[0012] The main object of the invention is provide to make drawstring sacks and bags recyclable by connecting the rope passed through the mouth of the sack or bag to the bottom corner of the sack or bag through a plastic eyelet suitable for recycling.

[0013] The object of the invention is to eliminate the use of metal eyelets in drawstring sacks and bags, to provide the sack or bag completely recyclable as plastic waste.

[0014] Another object of the invention is to ensure that the plastic eyelet is fixed on the bag or bag by compressing it better than the metal ring, so that the rope is securely attached to the sack or bag.

[0015] Another object of the invention is to increase the service life of the sack or bag.

[0016] Another object of the invention is to provide drawstring sacks and bags into an environmentally friendly product that is completely recyclable.

[0017] In order to achieve all of the objects stated above and that can be derived from the detailed description, the invention is a sack or bag used for carrying goods by users on the back or on one shoulder and comprising a sack or bag body, at least one rope passed through the mouth of the sack or bag body and connected to at least one lower corner of the sack or bag body, comprising the following:

[0018] - a head placed on at least one lower corner of the sack or bag body to ensure that the rope is fixed to the sack or bag body, and a plastic eyelet having a body that extends downwards from under the head and is connected to the bag or bag body by crushed it from the back by piercing the sack or bag body.

[0019] The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be understood more clearly by means of the figures given below and the detailed description written with references to these figures. For this reason, the evaluation needs to be made by taking these figures and detailed description into consideration.

[0034] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0035] In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the sack or bag, which are the subject of the invention are described only for a better understanding of the subject and in a way that does not form any limiting effect.

[0036] In Figure 1 , it is given the general view of the sack or bag, which is subject of the invention. Accordingly, the sack or bag comprises, in its most basic form; at least one rope (20) passed through the mouth of the sack or bag body (10), eyelet (30) made of plastic, which is connected to at least one lower corner of the sack or bag body (10) by pressing and crushing it and ensures the fixation of the rope (20) to the sack or bag body (10), reinforcement part (40) located under the eyelet (30) and supporting the connection between the sack or bag body (10) and the eyelet (30).

[0037] The sack or bag body (10), which constitutes the main structure of the sack or bag, which is the subject of the invention, is made of polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) material and has a rectangular shape. At least one plastic rope (20) is passed through the mouth of the sack or bag body (10) in order to shrink the mouth part and at the same time carry it on the back or on one shoulder and said plastic rope (20) is fixed to at least one lower corner of the sack or bag body (10), as seen in Figures 2a and 2b. For this purpose, an eyelet (30) is connected to at least one lower corner of the sack or bag body (10) by crushing it with a press.

[0038] The eyelet (30) seen in Figures 3a, 3b and 3c basically consists of a head (31 ) with a hole in the middle and a body (32) extending downwards from under the head (31 ). The head (31 ) and the body (32) have a monolithic structure and are made of plastic material.

[0039] The eyelet (30) is placed on at least one lower corner of the sack or bag body (10), as seen in Figure 4, and during the pressing process applied on the head (31 ), the body (32) pierces the sack or bag body (10) and closes the back, and is fixed to the sack or bag body (10) by crushing it. In order to securely fix the plastic eyelet (30) to the sack or bag body (10), a reinforcement part (40) is placed under the eyelet (30) on the sack or bag body (10). Said reinforcement part (40) is made of recyclable thick polyethylene (PE) material.

[0040] During the process of fixing the plastic eyelet (30) to the sack or bag body (10) by pressing, a reinforcement part (40) is placed under the eyelet (30). By pressing the head (31) part of the eyelet (30), the body (32) of the eyelet (30) presses and pierces the sack or bag body (10) and the reinforcement part (40) and it presses and pierces the reinforcement part (40), and as seen in Figure 5, it is crushed from the body (32) and integrated with the sack or bag body (10).

[0041] The rope (20) passed through the mouth of the sack or bag body (10) is knotted by passing through the eyelet (30) fixed to the sack or bag body (10).
