Description

[0001] Sanitary container

[0002] The subject of the invention is a sanitary container for use especially in difficult field conditions.

[0003] From the Chinese utility model description of CN 217054522 U, a portable multi-station public toilet is known, on the roof of which a photovoltaic panel is located.

[0004] From the international patent application WO 2018132015 Al, a vacuum sewage system is known which comprises two vacuum pumps and a controller, wherein the pumps are configured to operate individually, in series, or in vacuum mode, depending on the required vacuum demand. In addition, the device includes an accumulation tank that functions both as a distributor for distributing sewage to the pumps and as a vacuum tank to obtain sufficient vacuum accumulation in the system. The device includes a system of inlet pipes connected to the tank and containing at least one inlet connection to be connected to the field drainage system. The pump inlet is connected to the tank by a pipe system. The pump outlet is equipped with an outlet pipe system with an outlet connection that can be connected to an external sewage tank or the local sewage system. Initially, only one pump is started in the device to achieve the required vacuum level, approximately 50%. If further capacity is required due to increased flushing, the second pump is started.

[0005] From the international patent application WO 0190495 Al, a vacuum system connected to toilets, urinals or sinks is known, comprising a liquid ring vacuum pump with an integrated grinder. The pump is connected via pipes to the toilets, and each toilet is equipped with a drain valve. The pump starts and runs for a few seconds to create a vacuum in the pipes between the toilet and the pump, and the drain valve then opens to empty the toilet, after which the valve closes and the pump stops shortly afterwards.

[0006] From the australian patent application AU 2023202675 Al, a device is known that includes a shipping container that has a frame for supporting a set of photovoltaic panels on the roof. The photovoltaic panels are mounted on the roof in slides that allow their position to be changed from stowed to deployed.

[0007] From the international patent application CN 107939082 A, a multi-station vacuum toilet is known, containing a cuboidal longitudinal body, at one end of which there is a vacuum station. A partition wall is located along the body, separating two rows of sanitary stations, each of which contains a sanitary device such as a vacuum toilet bowl or a vacuum urinal. The vacuum flush valves of the sanitary devices located in the stations opposite each other are connected to a single pipe, the other end of which is connected to a vacuum pipe connected to the vacuum station.

[0008] In known solutions for multi-station sanitary containers, shipping containers are often used as a base, which is advantageous for transport reasons, but causes limitations related to the location of sanitary unit and the supply of appropriate installations to them. External sources of water and electricity are often used in such solutions. In addition, known solutions sometimes include elements that must be dismantled for transport, such as external central air conditioning units, tanks or pumps. This limits the possibility of using such solutions in difficult conditions requiring their maintenance-free operation for as long as possible.

[0009] A sanitary container comprising a cuboidal body having two vertical longer walls parallel to each other, and two vertical shorter walls parallel to each other and perpendicular to the longer walls, and further comprising two rows of sanitary cabins, one arranged on the side of one of the longer walls of the container and the other on the side of the opposite longer wall, the body further comprising a technical duct accommodating pipes of internal water system connected to sanitary devices, and a technical room, wherein, according to the invention, above the ceiling of the sanitary cabins, along the longer walls, the body comprises retractable first photovoltaic panels mounted in telescopic guides connected to the body and extending perpendicular to the longer walls of the body, the technical room further accommodating batteries and an inverter, through which the batteries are connected to the first photovoltaic panels, the technical room further comprising a generator set.

[0010] Preferably, the container comprises a water tank located in a technical duct, connected to the pipes of the internal water system, and furthermore, inside the body there is a hydrophore connected to the internal water system.

[0011] Further advantages are achieved when the container comprises a central air conditioning system comprising an external unit and an internal unit, wherein the external unit is located inside the technical room and is connected to a ventilation opening in one of the walls of the body, while the internal unit is connected to the external unit and to air supply grilles leading to the interior of the sanitary cabins.

[0012] Additional advantages are obtained when the sanitary devices comprise a toilet bowl and a washbasin, wherein the toilet bowls are connected to a vacuum sewage system which is located in the technical room and comprises a vacuum pump, a vacuum separator, a buffer tank and a controller, wherein the washbasins contain taps connected to the internal water system.

[0013] Further advantages are achieved when the the sanitary devices include a shower set connected to the internal water system.

[0014] Further advantages are achieved when the container comprises a greywater tank located between the bottom of the body and the floor of its rooms.

[0015] Additional advantages are obtained when the container comprises second photovoltaic panels which are fixedly connected to the roof below the guides and the first photovoltaic panels.

[0016] Further advantages are achieved when the container comprises second photovoltaic panels which are fixedly connected to the roof above the guides and the first photovoltaic panels.

[0017] Additional advantages are obtained when the technical duct is located between the rows of sanitary cabins and is separated from them by partition walls.

[0018] The sanitary container according to the invention, due to the use of retractable photovoltaic panels and the arrangement of the central air-conditioning system, including its external unit, inside the container, does not comprise elements protruding beyond its body during transport. Other elements as well - such as a greywater tank, a water tank, a generator set, and an inverter - are arranged inside the body, facilitating its transport and deployment at the destination site, which requires only the extension of the photovoltaic panels and the installation of steps beneath the doors. The solution enables efficient use of the upper part of the container for solar energy harvesting.

[0019] The use of a photovoltaic installation together with a generator set allows the container to be operated under diverse and demanding conditions. The technical duct arranged between the rear walls of the rows of sanitary cabins enables efficient, space-saving organization of installation lines, permitting effective utilization of space and also accommodating water tanks, thereby eliminating the need to connect the container to an external water supply system. Due to the use of a vacuum sewage system, the amount of water used has been reduced - in the case of flushing, from approx. 5 liters to 0.5-0.7 liters. The applied solutions allow unattended operation for several days, even in harsh field conditions. If required, the container can also be connected to an external sewage system and an external water supply system. The sanitary container, according to the invention, is further explained in the embodiments illustrated in the drawings, in which: Fig. 1 shows the container in an isometric view, in the first embodiment, with the first photovoltaic panels retracted and without the second doors installed; Fig. 2 shows the same container in a view from the technical room side, without the second doors installed and with the first photovoltaic panels extended; Fig. 3 shows the same container in an isometric view, with the first photovoltaic panels extended and with the second doors installed; Fig. 4 shows the container in an isometric view, in the second embodiment, with the first photovoltaic panels retracted; Fig. 5 shows the same container in an isometric view with the first photovoltaic panels extended; Fig. 6 shows the container in a top view in the first embodiment, with a cutaway in the roof; Fig. 7 shows the container in a top view in the third embodiment, with a cutaway in the roof.
