Abstract

The invention relates to a connector housing (1'') for a connector, the connector housing (1'') comprising a contact carrier (100). The contact carrier (100) comprises a contact carrier base part (110) and a contact carrier collar (120), the contact carrier collar (120) having a contact carrier collar outer side (121) and a contact carrier collar inner side. The contact carrier collar (120) is arranged on the contact carrier base part (110) and encloses a cable exit space. The contact carrier collar (120) is designed to receive, in the cable exit space, a cover collar of a cover component (200), and comprises at least one latching means (123) on the inner side of the contact carrier collar, said latching means being designed to cooperate with a mating latching means (223) of the cover collar in order to secure the cover component (200) to the contact carrier (100). The contact carrier collar (120) also comprises a snap projection (124) on the contact carrier collar outer side (121) and is designed to be surrounded by a cable grommet (300) in such a manner that the snap projection (124) engages into a snap groove of the cable grommet (300) when the cable grommet (300) is arranged on the contact carrier collar (120).
