Abstract
This component supply device is used in a mounting device provided with a mounting part that carries out a process for mounting a component on an object, the component supply device comprising: an accommodation part that accommodates a plurality of pallets for holding trays in which a plurality of components are accommodated; a placement part which is provided inside of or adjacent to the accommodation part and on which a recovered component is placed; and a placement-part-moving part that moves the placement part between a placement position at which the component can be placed by the mounting part and a removal position at which the placed component can be removed, the removal position being accessible from the outside.
