Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for setting insulation coating on an electrode fabric for a secondary battery, which enables more precise working of the insulation coating and more precise inspection of a result of the work on a coated insulation coating part. The present invention relates to a method for setting insulation coating on an electrode fabric for a secondary battery, which controls a gap between a lip part of a mini-die forming an insulation coating part and the electrode fabric when forming the insulation coating part, by coating an insulation material on a boundary surface between the electrode coating part and a positive electrode non-coating part of the electrode fabric. The method for setting the insulation coating comprises the steps of: (a) setting a torque mode by driving, by using a step motor, the mini-die forming the insulation coating part, and setting a preset load rate by controlling a pulse train; (b) moving the lip part of the mini die forward in a low-speed mode; and (c) stopping if a load rate abnormality is detected when the lip part comes into contact with a target object after the lip part moves forward.
