Claims
Claims1. A pattern generating device comprising- a movable assembly comprising one or more coil (13) and a holding means adapted to hold a sample receptacle (500, 600), and- a stationary assembly comprising one or more ferromagnetic component (14), each ferromagnetic component (14) having a cylindrical magnet member (14a) being at least partially placed inside one of the one or more coil (13), wherein each set of a coil (13) and ferromagnetic component (14) together form an electromagnetic Z actuator (10, 10a, 10b, 10c), wherein each coil (13) has electrical terminals configured for receiving a drive current, wherein a force acting on the ferromagnetic component (14) along the Z direction is generated in response to the drive current supplied through the coil (13), wherein the one or more electromagnetic Z actuator (10, 10a, 10b, 10c) is configured to actuate a translational displacement of the movable assembly from a first to a second stable position and vice versa in Z direction relative to the stationary assembly, and wherein the one or more electromagnetic Z actuator (10, 10a, 10b, 10c) is configured to induce a vibration of a sample receptacle (500, 600) held by the holding means (40, 151).
