Provided is an anti-fogging agent containing: inorganic particles; a silane coupling agent A having a reactive group X; and a compound B having a reactive group Y capable of reacting with and bonding to the reactive group X; wherein the inorganic particles include two or more types of particles having different shapes.

Claims

1. An anti-fogging agent comprising inorganic particles, a silane coupling agent A having a reactive group X, and a compound B having a reactive group Y that can react with and bond to the reactive group X, wherein the inorganic particles include two or more particles with different shapes.

2. The anti-fogging agent according to claim 1, wherein the inorganic particles are silica.

3. The anti-fogging agent according to claim 1, wherein the inorganic particles include spherical particles and bead-like particles.

4. The anti-fogging agent according to claim 1, wherein the content of the silane coupling agent A is 5 parts by mass or more per 100 parts by mass of the inorganic particles.

5. The anti-fogging agent according to claim 1, wherein the content of compound B is 0.2 parts by mass or more per 100 parts by mass of the inorganic particles.

6. The anti-fogging agent according to claim 1, wherein the content of the silane coupling agent A is 50 parts by mass or more per 100 parts by mass of the compound B.

7. The antifogging agent according to claim 1, wherein one of the reactive group X and the reactive group Y is an epoxy group, a carboxyl group, a hydroxyl group, or an acid anhydride group, and the other is an amino group, an isocyanate group, or a ureido group.

8. The antifogging agent according to claim 1, wherein the reactive group X is an epoxy group and the reactive group Y is an amino group.

9. The antifogging agent according to claim 1, wherein compound B has a polyether group.

10. The antifogging agent according to claim 1, further comprising a silane coupling agent having a polyether group.

11. A method for preventing fogging of a vehicle lamp structure, comprising the steps of: applying an anti-fogging agent according to any one of claims 1 to 10 to the inner surface of a lens provided in the vehicle lamp structure to form a coating film; and drying the coating film.

12. A vehicle lamp structure comprising an anti-fog film formed on the inner surface of the lens from an anti-fog agent according to any one of claims 1 to 10.
