Claims
Compositions comprising lipid delivery nanoparticles for the targeted transport of nucleic acids, as well as methods of preparation and use of lipid delivery nanoparticles in the targeted transport of nucleic acids once administered to patients.
1. A delivery lipid nanoparticle comprising: an outer lipid membrane comprising phospholipids; and an inner core, the inner core being interior to the outer lipid membrane, wherein a plurality of the phospholipids of the outer lipid membrane are conjugated with a hydrophilic polymer and a targeting portion.
25. A method of targeted delivery of a therapeutic nucleic acid to a patient, said method comprising: encapsulating a therapeutic nucleic acid within the inner core of a lipid delivery nanoparticle of any one of claims 1-22; and delivering the lipid delivery nanoparticle comprising the therapeutic nucleic acid to a patient.
