Abstract

In the embodiment of the invention, the corresponding update thread is started in the component to be updated, on the basis of the update thread, version information comparison is carried out with the server, and the update file is downloaded so as to carry out automatic loading to finish updating the component. Compared with a way that the component is updated in virtue of an external update process, the method disclosed by the invention improves component updating timeliness, and meanwhile, bandwidth consumption is reduced.
