A universal preparation method of morphology-controllable ordered alloy nanocrystals based on a non-equilibrium nanometallurgical strategy

By employing a non-equilibrium nanometallurgical strategy, controlling the heating rate and holding time, the changes in atomic morphology on the surface of alloy nanocrystals are suppressed, forming an atomic-level armor. This solves the problem of preparing morphology-controllable ordered alloy nanocrystals at high temperatures, and achieves improved high-efficiency catalytic performance and large-scale production.

Abstract

The application discloses a universal preparation method of morphology-controllable ordered alloy nanocrystals based on a non-equilibrium nanometallurgical strategy, which comprises the following steps: placing alloy nanocrystals or loaded alloy nanocrystals in a non-equilibrium nanometallurgical platform, heating to a holding temperature at a heating rate higher than a critical heating rate of the alloy, cooling to room temperature after isothermal holding, and obtaining morphology-controllable ordered alloy nanocrystals. The application characterizes a nanometer-scale TTT phase diagram which is different from a traditional bulk alloy, finds an unreported "atomic-level armor formation region", adjusts the temperature and heating rate of alloy nanocrystal ordering to the corresponding atomic-level armor formation region, successfully prepares morphology-controllable ordered alloy nanocrystals with different particle sizes, different geometric shapes and different chemical components, and solves the preparation problem of morphology loss in the ordering process of alloy nanocrystals at high temperature which has not been solved before. The preparation method is simple and universal, and is suitable for large-scale production.
