[0022] The present invention is described with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which certain embodiments of the present invention are shown. However, the present invention can be implemented in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments depicted and described herein; on the contrary, these embodiments are provided so that the present disclosure will be thorough and complete and will fully convey the scope of the present invention to those skilled in the art. It will also be understood that the embodiments disclosed herein can be combined in any manner and / or combination to provide many additional embodiments.
[0023] Unless otherwise defined, all technical and scientific terms used in this disclosure have the same meaning as commonly understood by ordinary technicians in the field to which the utility model belongs. The terms used in the above description are only used for the purpose of describing specific embodiments and are not intended to limit the utility model.
[0024] Reference now Figure 1, which shows a partial schematic diagram of an exemplary wiper arm 5. As shown in the figure, the wiper arm 5 may include an end in the form of a hook 51, wherein the hook 51 may include a hook hole 52, such as a through and / or side opening. In an example not shown, the wiper arm 5 may have an end in a different form, such as a snap-on type, etc. The illustrated end of the wiper arm 5 may receive a wiper blade, such as the wiper blade being locked to the hook. In this case, the illustrated part may also be referred to as a wiper arm and a wiper blade locking hook assembly. In addition, the opposite end of the wiper arm 5 not shown may be connected to a drive mechanism. In use, as the wiper arm 5 is actuated to swing, the wiper blade wipes on a generally curved wiping surface (such as a windshield surface, etc.), but the wiper arm 5 is usually suspended. Due to factors such as model and / or assembly, the wiper arm 5, including its end receiving the wiper blade, may have different sizes, such as a width transverse to the arm span direction, and / or may form a variable inclination with the surface normal of the corresponding position in the stroke on the wiping surface. As mentioned at the outset, it is desirable to measure the angle of attack associated with this inclination robustly and accurately during the actual dynamic operation of the wiper arm 5 .
[0025] Reference now Figure 2 and Figure 3 , which respectively show a perspective schematic diagram and an exploded schematic diagram of a wiper attack angle measuring device 1 according to the utility model. According to some embodiments, the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 may include a bracket 10. In the illustrated embodiment, the bracket 10 may be L-shaped, and / or may include a base plate 101 and a vertical plate 102. In embodiments not shown, the bracket 10 may have other suitable shapes, such as an inverted T-shape, etc., and / or the base plate 101 and the vertical plate 102 may alternatively be a single-piece component. According to some embodiments, the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 may include a tooling 11 rotatably connected to the bracket 10, wherein the tooling 11 is used to receive at least a portion of a wiper arm of a wiper, thereby having a wiper arm receiving space. For example, the received portion of the wiper arm includes the hook 51 of the wiper arm 5, thereby forming a wiper arm hook fixing tooling. In the illustrated embodiment, the tooling 11 may be mounted on a side of the vertical plate 102 facing the base plate 101, so as to be rotatably connected to the vertical plate 102 of the bracket 10, for example, the tooling 11 may be twisted relative to the bracket 10. In an embodiment not shown, the tooling 11 may be rotatably connected to other appropriate parts of the bracket 10. According to some embodiments, the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 may include at least one measuring unit, for example, one or both of the visual measurement unit 12 and the electrical measurement unit 13 described below, wherein the measuring unit is used to measure the rotation angle of the tooling 11 relative to the bracket 10, for example, corresponding to the attack angle of the received wiper arm. Note that, Figure 2 and Figure 3The two measuring units are drawn together, but other embodiments of the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 may have only one of the measuring units or may detachably install one of the measuring units. According to some embodiments, the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 may include a plurality of rollers 141 connected to the bracket 10. The roller 141 may be mounted on the side of the base plate 101 that is away from the upright plate 102. In the illustrated embodiment, four rollers 141 are provided. In embodiments not shown, the roller 141 may have other appropriate numbers, but is generally at least three in view of self-reliance and / or anti-tilting properties. According to some embodiments, the roller 141 may be configured such that when the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 is placed on the wiping surface to which the wiper is applied and the tooling 11 has received the wiper arm, as the wiper arm is actuated to swing, the roller 141 rolls on the wiping surface in response to the movement of the wiper arm. In other words, the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 may follow the wiper arm. The smoothness and / or stability of such following is desired.
[0026] According to some embodiments, the orientation of the rolling axis of the roller 141 with reference to the bracket 10 can be changed, in particular, dynamically during the rolling of the roller 141 on the wiping surface. With reference to the bracket 10 means that the bracket 10 itself is used as a stationary reference system. As a non-limiting example, if the illustrated embodiment shows a state in which the rolling axis of the roller 141 is substantially perpendicular to the upright plate 102, the rolling axis of the roller 141 can be changed to a state that is not perpendicular to the upright plate 102. In this way, during the swinging sweep of the wiper arm, even if the rolling trajectory of the roller 141 includes a complex curve instead of a simple arc due to the curvature of the wiping surface, the adaptability of the variable orientation of the rolling axis of the roller 141 with reference to the bracket 10 also promotes the smooth movement of the wiper attack angle measurement device 1 together with the wiper arm, reduces the sliding shock, and alleviates the impact oscillation in the relative rotation movement of the tooling 11 relative to the bracket 10, thereby facilitating the accurate measurement of the wiper attack angle. Thus, the orientation of the roller 141 may change in response to the curvature of the scraping surface.
[0027] According to some embodiments, the roller 141 can be configured such that when the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 is placed on the wiping surface and the tooling 11 has received the wiper arm, as the wiper arm is actuated to swing, the orientation of the roller 141 can be passively changed in response to the curvature of the wiping surface. Passive change means that there is no active power drive to change the orientation of the roller 141, but it can be derived from kinematic factors (such as rolling path) and / or mechanical factors (such as pressing force, friction, etc.). This simplifies the configuration of the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 without compromising its function.
[0028] According to some embodiments, the wiper attack angle measurement device 1 may include a plurality of wheel units 14 respectively connected to the bracket 10, each wheel unit 14 including one roller 141 of the plurality of rollers 141. The wheel unit 14 may be mounted on a side of the base plate 101 away from the vertical plate 102. In the illustrated embodiment, there are four wheel units 14. The individualized rollers 141 may contribute to improved adaptability.
[0029] According to some embodiments, the roller 141 may be formed as part of a universal wheel unit. It is also possible that the wheel unit 14 may be formed as a universal wheel unit. By using a unit comprising a universal wheel, a change in the orientation of the rolling axis of the roller 141 with reference to the support 10 may be easily obtained, in particular a passive change during wheel rolling.
[0030] Continue to refer Figure 3 , specifically showing the construction of the wheel unit 14 formed as a universal wheel unit. According to some embodiments, the universal wheel unit may include a roller 141. According to some embodiments, the universal wheel unit may include a support 142, for example in the form of a fork, wherein the support 142 rotatably supports the roller 141. According to some embodiments, the universal wheel unit may include an insertion pin 143 for connecting the support 142 to the bracket 10, wherein the support 142 and the insertion pin 143 are relatively rotatable about a direction substantially perpendicular to the rolling axis of the roller 141. In the illustrated embodiment, the insertion pin 143 may fit into a corresponding hole in the bracket 10, for example, in the base plate 101. Compared with a universal wheel unit connected by a connection panel, such a universal wheel unit may save space, resulting in a compact wiper attack angle measurement device 1.
[0031] According to some embodiments, the tooling 11 may include a bracket 111 and a movable part 112 that can be selectively fixed relative to the bracket 111, wherein the movable part 112 can be adjusted relative to the bracket 111 to adjust the size of the scraper arm receiving space in the tooling 11. The bracket 111 and / or the movable part 112 may be plate-shaped. In the illustrated embodiment, the bracket 111 may be L-shaped. In an embodiment not shown, the bracket 111 may have other suitable shapes, such as a C-shape, etc. According to some embodiments, the bracket 111 may include an opposing portion relative to the movable part 112, wherein the movable part 112 is connected to the opposing portion of the bracket 111 by a stud 113, so that the spacing between the opposing portion of the bracket 111 and the movable part 112 is adjustable. For example, in the case of an L-shaped bracket 111, the wiper arm receiving space may be formed between the opposing portion of the bracket 111 and the movable part 112, and in the case of a C-shaped bracket 111, the C-shaped bracket 111 may include an opposing portion and an opposing portion opposite to the opposing portion, and the wiper arm receiving space may be formed between the opposing portion or the opposing portion of the bracket 111 and the movable part 112. In addition, the stud 113 may be received in the hook hole 52 of the hook head 51 of the wiper arm 5 and locked by the nut 114. In an embodiment not shown, the movable part 112 may have other appropriate forms, such as the stud itself extending into the wiper arm receiving space in the tooling from both sides when the bracket is C-shaped.
[0032] According to some embodiments, the bracket 111 and the movable part 112 may include shaped guide parts that cooperate with each other. The shaped guide parts that cooperate with each other mean that they are not linear and / or planar matching interfaces, but have a shape matching relationship (see Figure 4A and Figure 4B ). As a result, the freedom of movement of the movable part 112 is limited, which facilitates the movement of the movable part 112 in a predetermined direction, thereby facilitating the receiving and fixing process of the wiper arm and potentially reducing the risk of the movable part 112 being disengaged or even falling off. In the illustrated embodiment, the bracket 111 may include a lateral portion relative to the opposing portion, wherein the shaped guide portion of the bracket 111 is arranged on the lateral portion of the bracket 111, and the shaped guide portion of the movable part 112 is arranged on the corresponding lateral side of the movable part 112.
[0033] Reference now Figure 4A and Figure 4B , which shows a partial schematic diagram of the tooling 11 of the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 according to the utility model, specifically showing two examples of the formed guide parts that cooperate with each other. Figure 4A In the example of , the bracket 111 may include a protrusion and the movable part 112 may include a depression. Figure 4BIn the example of, the carriage 111 may include a depression, and the movable part 112 may include a projection. Of course, in the example not shown, the carriage 111 and the movable part 112 may both include a projection and a depression. In a word, the depression may cooperate with the projection, and the projection or the depression as the forming guide part on the carriage 111 may extend along the predetermined direction of the motion of the guiding movable part 112, and the depression or the projection as the forming guide part on the movable part 112 may be formed on the lateral side of the movable part 112 (for example, transverse to the aforementioned predetermined direction, and / or away from the direction of the scraper arm receiving space). As shown in the figure, the depression and the projection may be equal in width in the direction toward one. In the case not shown, the depression and the projection may be tapered in the direction toward one. In the case not shown in other, the depression and the projection may form a complex shape matching each other, for example a dovetail shape, etc.
[0034] Return to reference Figure 3 , specifically showing the means for rotatably connecting the tooling 11 to the bracket 10. According to some embodiments, the tooling 11 may include a shaft 115 extending from the bracket 111, wherein the shaft 115 is rotatably connected to the bracket 10 through a bearing 15. The shaft 115 may extend in a direction away from the scraper arm receiving space, and / or extend from a lateral portion of the bracket 111. In the illustrated embodiment, the shaft 115 may be rotatably connected to the vertical plate 102 of the bracket 10, for example, the shaft 115 is twistable relative to the bracket 10. In an embodiment not shown, the shaft 115 may be rotatably connected to other appropriate parts of the bracket 10. In the illustrated embodiment, the bearing 15 may be fitted into a corresponding hole in the bracket 10, for example, the vertical plate 102. The bearing 15 may be a rolling bearing, wherein the outer ring of the bearing 15 is fitted into the aforementioned hole, and the inner ring of the bearing 15 is fitted onto the shaft 115. The bearing 15 may alternatively be a sliding bearing, wherein the shaft 115 is slidably supported. Rotation of the shaft 115 facilitates rotation angle measurement and / or rotation angle information extraction.
[0035] Continue to refer Figure 2 and Figure 3 , specifically showing the construction of a visual measuring unit 12 and an electrical measuring unit 13 selectively used as at least one measuring unit. The visual measuring unit 12 allows for simple and convenient intuitive reading. The electrical measuring unit 13 helps to fully record the value and change of the attack angle during the entire operation of the wiper and analyze the rotation angle of the attack angle of the wiper at any position on the wiped surface. The latter can cooperate with the special design of the aforementioned wheel unit 141.
[0036] According to some embodiments, the visual measurement unit 12 may have a pointer portion 122 and a scale portion 121, wherein the scale portion 121 is disposed on or connected to the support 10, and the pointer portion 122 is configured to rotate with the tool 11 so as to point to the scale of the scale portion 121 associated with the rotation angle of the tool 11. The scale portion 121 may have scales of zero and positive and negative distribution values, and the pointer portion 122 may have an elongated end so as to align with the corresponding scale. The scale portion 121 being disposed on the support 10 means that the scale portion 121 is integrated into the support 10, for example, the scale is engraved on the support 10, for example, the vertical plate 102. The scale portion 121 being connected to the support 10 means that the scale portion 121 forms a separate component and the component is subsequently mounted to the support 10. It is possible that the separate component also becomes a part of the support 10 for providing support, such as the vertical plate 102 itself. The pointer portion 122 rotates together with the tool 11, which means that the pointer portion 122 is fixed to the shaft 115 and / or other appropriate positions of the bracket 111. In the illustrated embodiment, the scale portion 121 can be located above the hole into which the bearing 15 fits, and the pointer portion 122 can be inserted between the bearing 15 and the bracket 111 and can be passed through by the shaft 115.
[0037] According to some embodiments, the electrical measurement unit 13 may have a controller and an angle transmitter 131 operably connected to the controller, wherein a portion of the angle transmitter 131 is configured to rotate with the tooling 11 so as to generate an electrical signal associated with the rotation angle of the tooling 11. The controller may be of a type known in the art, such as a single-chip microcomputer, a PLC, a computer, etc. The angle transmitter 131 may be an appropriate device for converting the rotation angle of the tooling 11 into a corresponding electrical signal. For example, the angle transmitter 131 may include a sliding rheostat or a potentiometer, wherein the resistance value or voltage division of the sliding rheostat or the potentiometer may be used to provide a characterization. For another example, the angle transmitter 131 may include a rotary encoder, either an absolute type or an incremental type, wherein the output absolute value or a pulse signal may be used to provide a characterization. As needed, the angle transmitter 131 may be calibrated using the above-mentioned visual measurement unit 12 or other means. In the illustrated embodiment, the angle transmitter 131 may be connected to the controller via a wire 132. In an embodiment not shown, the angle transmitter 131 can be connected to the controller by wireless means. The fact that a portion of the angle transmitter 131 rotates with the tooling 11 means that the portion of the angle transmitter 131 is fixed to the shaft 115 and / or other appropriate positions of the bracket 111. In the illustrated embodiment, the portion can be a column 1310 of the angle transmitter 131. In other words, the column 1310 of the angle transmitter 131 can be configured to rotate with the tooling 11. According to some embodiments, the column 1310 can be selectively connected to the shaft 15 in a detachable manner. Such a detachable connection may include a key connection and / or a pin connection, etc. Through the selective connection of the column 1310 to the shaft 15, the electrical measurement unit 13 can be installed and removed as needed without affecting the operation of other parts of the wiper attack angle measurement device 1. In other words, the electrical measurement unit 13 can be modular, resulting in a flexible wiper attack angle measurement device 1.
[0038] Return to reference Figure 3 The controller can also be connected to a display so that the display at least displays the value of the attack angle and / or its changes during the operation of the wiper. By coupling with the operating swing angle of the wiper arm, the value of the attack angle at any position of the wiper arm on the wiped surface can be obtained. For example, the operating swing angle of the wiper arm can be obtained by a detection unit associated with the drive mechanism of the wiper.
[0039] The operation of the wiper attack angle measuring device 1 will be described below.
[0040] For example, when the wiper on the car is in the initial position, the wiper attack angle measuring device is placed as a whole on the surface of the windshield glass as the wiping surface, one side of the wheel unit is in contact with the glass surface, and at least a part of the wiper arm, such as the end of the wiper arm including the wiper blade locking hook, is placed in the hook locking tooling. To this end, the wiper arm hook locking nut is loosened, the wiper arm and the wiper blade locking hook are placed in the hook locking tooling together, and the hook tooling nut is locked. When the visual measurement unit is used, the pointer indicates the rotation angle at this time, which is the value of the wiper attack angle here. In order to measure the value of the attack angle at any position during the operation of the wiper and the change of the attack angle during the overall operation, an electronic measurement unit is used to read and record the value of the attack angle. In the case of using a sliding rheostat, different resistance values are calibrated into a rotation angle range, that is, used to reflect the positive and negative and numerical values of the attack angle. Through the wiper attack angle measuring device according to the utility model, the attack angle can be measured more robustly and accurately.
[0041] The above is an explanation of the utility model and should not be interpreted as a limitation of the utility model. Although exemplary embodiments of the utility model have been described, those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that many modifications may be made in the exemplary embodiments without substantially departing from the novel teachings and advantages of the utility model. Therefore, all such modifications are intended to be included within the scope of the utility model as defined in the claims. The utility model is defined by the appended claims, including the equivalent forms of the claims.
