Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: REMOVABLE WALL BARS COMPRISING RETRACTABLE BARS Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of wall bars, more particularly the field of wall bars intended for domestic use. Prior art
[0002] One of the most effective means of exercise is the use of a wall ladder which allows for a variety of movements and uses such as warm-up, competition preparation and corrective gymnastics.
[0003] The conventional configuration of the wall-mounted wall-mounted ladder is significantly bulky, thus creating a growing demand for less bulky solutions, particularly for a restricted space inside a home. Alternatives exist, including ladders with removable rungs designed for domestic use, usually fixed between two uprights of a door frame by screwing, as disclosed in published utility model document DE 298 07 217 U.
[0004] However, the solution disclosed in the utility model document offers opportunities for improvement aimed at increasing flexibility of use and reducing bulk. Indeed, the bars must be screwed to remain in position on the uprights, which means that each disassembly systematically requires essential unscrewing, thus complicating the user experience. Statement of the invention
[0005] The present invention aims to overcome at least one of the drawbacks of the aforementioned state of the art. More particularly, the invention aims to propose a trellis ensuring great flexibility of use while occupying a limited space.
[0006] To this end, the invention relates to a trellis comprising: - two uprights each provided with notches distributed along said upright; - bars capable of retractably engaging in the notches of the uprights; remarkable in that each of the bars comprises at each of the two ends of said bar a cylindrical engagement portion of diameter D with two parallel flats at a distance M from each other; and each of the notches comprises a circular notch bottom and an access path to the notch bottom having a width greater than or equal to the distance M and less than the diameter D, so as to allow the two flats of the engagement portion to slide along the access path into the bottom of the notch followed by rotation of the bar preventing said bar from exiting from said bottom of the notch, and vice versa.
[0007] Advantageously, the diameter D of each cylindrical engagement portion is greater than the distance M presented between the two parallel flats.
[0008] According to one embodiment, each of the bars has a cylindrical shape extending between the two engagement portions and having a diameter greater than or equal to the diameter D of said engagement portions.
[0009] According to one embodiment, the access path of each of the notches is horizontal or inclined towards the bottom of the notch and downwards, at an angle of between 10° and 60° relative to the horizontal, when the corresponding upright is vertical.
[0010] According to one embodiment, 0.5 D <M<0,9 D, préférentiellement 0,7 D<M<0,85 D
[0011] According to one embodiment, said wall bar further comprises: - means for locking the bars in rotation in the notch bottoms.
[0012] According to one embodiment, the locking means are individual to each bar or common to several bars.
[0013] According to one embodiment, the locking means comprise a fork capable of engaging with the two flats of an engagement portion of one of the bars.
[0014] According to one embodiment, the fork comprises a proximal part provided with an oblong hole slidably mounted with a transverse axis fixed to the corresponding upright.
[0015] According to one embodiment, at least one of the two uprights is intended to be fixed to a door frame or to a wall.
[0016] According to one embodiment, the attachment to the door frame is removable and comprises at least one clamping wedge controlled by a pressure screw.
[0017] The measures of the invention are advantageous in that the wall bar with removable rungs offers remarkable flexibility in terms of use, arrangement and installation. The retractable rungs are easy to mount and dismount from the corresponding notches on the uprights, thus improving the ergonomics of use and allowing the choice of a specific number of rungs, which promotes the performance of balance exercises, for example, in a doorway.
[0018] In addition, the rapid disassembly of the set of bars allows the door to be released quickly and easily. The hold is ensured primarily by the shape of the cylindrical engagement portions each comprising two flats, and by the notch comprising a narrow access path leading to the bottom of the notch, said hold also being ensured secondary by rotational locking means, preferably corresponding to forks further securing the holding the bars in place so that they can be safely loaded with heavier weights without the risk of them coming loose from their notches. [0024] [Fig. 1] represents a perspective view of an upright 4 of a trellis 2 according to the invention, in which said upright is intended to be mounted on an exterior or interior side of a door frame, and more preferably on an exterior side of the door frame.
[0025] The trellis 2 comprises two symmetrical uprights 4 arranged opposite each other and preferably in a vertical direction.
[0026] Each upright 4 comprises a series of notches 6 distributed along said upright 4, intended to receive lateral ends 8.1 of rungs 8, thus forming a wall ladder allowing its use as a means of physical exercise. The uprights 4 and / or the rungs 8 can be obtained from wood, aluminum, steel, or any other suitable material.
[0027] Preferably, each notch 6 comprises a circular notch bottom 6.2 and an access path 6.1 to the notch bottom 6.2 which opens into said bottom 6.2.
[0028] The access path 6.1 preferably comprises a rectilinear profile extending horizontally or inclined towards the bottom 6.2 and downwards relative to the horizontal. More preferably, the access path 6.1 is inclined, from a front face 4.1 of the corresponding upright 4, towards the bottom 6.2 and downwards, with an angle a presented with the horizontal, which is between 10° and 60°, and is even more preferably typically between 20° and 50°.
[0029] The notches 6 pass completely through an entire thickness E of the corresponding upright 4. Advantageously, each bar 8 has a cylindrical shape arranged centrally between its two lateral ends 8.1, the latter having cylindrical engagement portions 9 visible according to Figures 2 and 3.
[0030] [Fig.2] schematically illustrates a front view of one of the retractable bars 8 of the wall bars 2 of [Fig.1].
[0031] Preferably, the cylindrical shape between the two lateral ends 8.1 preferably comprises a diameter greater than or equal to the diameter D of the cylindrical engagement portion 9.
[0032] It can be seen that each lateral end 8.1 ends with a terminal portion 8.2 having a diameter at least equal to the diameter D of the adjacent cylindrical engagement portion 9, and preferably greater than the latter, said terminal portion 8.2 ensures that the bar 8 is held in lateral position after its insertion into the corresponding notch of the upright. The arrangement of the terminal portion 8.2 at each lateral end 8.1 remains, however, optional.
[0033] [Fig.3] illustrates a sectional view along the axis AA transversely passing through the cylindrical engagement portion 9 at one of the ends 8.1 of the bar 8 of [Fig.2].
[0034] The cylindrical engagement portion 9 advantageously comprises two parallel flats 9.1, each being separated from the other by a distance M less than a diameter D of said cylindrical engagement portion 9.
[0035] Preferably, the distance M is between half of the diameter D and 0.9 D, and more preferably 0.7 D. <M<0,85 D.
[0036] In this configuration, and with reference to Figures 1 to 3, the insertion of each bar 8 towards the bottom 6.2 of the notch 6 is done exclusively from the cylindrical engagement portion 9. Indeed, the access path 6.1 advantageously has a width W which is greater than or equal to the distance M between the two flats 9.1 and less than the diameter D. Thus, during the insertion of the bar 8, the two flats 9.1 slide preferentially towards the bottom 6.2 and downwards, along the access path 6.1 and with a restriction of rotation of the bar 8, until the cylindrical engagement portion 9 is entirely arranged in the bottom 6.2 of the notch 6, to then allow (locally in the bottom 6.2) a rotation of said bar 8 around its main axis 8.3.
[0037] When the rotation of the bar 8 is approximately 90° after the insertion of the engagement portion 9 into the notch bottom 6.2, then the flats 9.1 are positioned perpendicular to the profile of the access path 6.1, which makes it possible to ensure that the bar 8 is held in position within the bottom 6.2 of the notch 6, making it possible to restrict the extraction of the cylindrical engagement portion 9 from said bottom 6.2. Thus, the release of said engagement portion 9 of the bottom 6.2 is conditioned by a new rotation of the bar 8. Such a configuration advantageously corresponds to a primary means of holding the bar 8 in position in the corresponding notches 6.
[0038] In another embodiment of the invention, the wall bar 2 may also comprise a secondary means for holding the bar 8 in position, which may correspond to a means for locking the rotation of said bar 8 in the corresponding base 6.2, and this preferably in addition to the primary holding provided by means of the two flats 9.1.
[0039] The wall bar 2 may comprise individual locking means for each bar 8 or common to several bars 8. For example, the locking means may comprise a pin capable of passing completely through the cylindrical engagement portion 9 to be inserted radially into a corresponding orifice in the bottom 6.2 of the notch within the upright 4. In another alternative, a rod may pass vertically and simultaneously through several bars 8, linking them together to restrict their rotation and movement. Or, a plate fixed to the upright can be positioned parallel and in direct contact with one of the two flats 9.1, thus preventing the corresponding bar from pivoting locally.
[0040] Preferably, each bar 8 may comprise one or more corresponding rotation locking means, including in particular a fork (visible in [Fig.4]) capable of engaging with the two flats 9.1 of the engagement portion 9 of the corresponding bar 8.
[0041] [Fig. 4] schematically illustrates a front view of an upright 4 of the wall bars 2 according to the invention, comprising means 10 for locking the bars 8 in rotation in the bottoms 6.2 of the notches, these locking means 10 preferably corresponding to forks 10 having a distal part 10.1 intended to be mounted astride the cylindrical engagement portion 9 in order to engage with the two flats 9.1.
[0042] In this [Fig.4], the engagement portions 9 of the two bars illustrated are represented by a sectional view in order to facilitate reading of the figure.
[0043] For this purpose, the fork 10 comprises a proximal part 10.2 provided with a groove 10.3 or an oblong hole 10.3 slidably mounted with a transverse axis 12, which may correspond to a screw 12, fixed to the upright 4. This assembly is also visible in [Fig.5] along a lateral side of the upright 4.
[0044] In this configuration, and with reference to figures 4 and 5, each fork 10 is guided in rotation around the transverse axis 12, as well as in translation by sliding of the proximal part 10.2 relative to said transverse 12, which allows to provide the fork 10 with combined rotational and translational movements, the movements of which are illustrated by dotted arrows in [Fig.4].
[0045] Thus, during the insertion of the engagement portion 9 into the notch 6, the fork 10 can be moved away manually, until said portion 9 is housed in the bottom of the notch 6.2 and rotated through 90°, to receive the fork 10 in order to ensure that the corresponding bar is held in place in the notch 6.
[0046] In another embodiment of the wall bar of the invention, the uprights 4 are intended to be mounted on an interior side of the door frame. For this purpose, the bars 8 are preferably devoid of an end portion 8.2, and the ends 8.1 terminate laterally in the engagement portions 9.
[0047] The uprights 4 of the wall bars 2 of the invention can also be fixed to a wall in the traditional manner, using retractable bars 8 which are more securely held in place compared to the wall bars of the state of the art.
[0048] Advantageously, the uprights 4 can be removably mounted with the corresponding door frame, preferably by means of at least one clamping wedge (not shown) which can be controlled by a pressure screw, and which makes it possible to clamp the corresponding upright against an upper and / or lower edge of the corresponding frame.
[0049] Alternatively, when the uprights 4 are fixed on the inner side of the door frame, a lateral fixing flange (not shown) preferably having a U shape can clamp the assembly (an upright 4 with the corresponding frame). A screw controlled by a tightening wheel can advantageously allow rapid manual tightening and / or loosening of the flange. In this configuration, the trellis 2 can comprise several fixing flanges (for example, at least one flange per upright 4) arranged at mid-height, or several flanges arranged at different heights of the assembly.
[0050] In another alternative not shown, only one of the two uprights of the wall bar can be pivotally mounted, by means of a hinge, either to a wall or to a door frame, while the other upright comprises at its lower end a wheel ensuring that said upright rolls on the ground. Thus, the wall bar can be moved away from the corresponding wall or door and thus form a separation angle which can, for example, reach 90°. In this regard, a holding arm can be arranged on an upper end of the other upright (in the vertical direction), and connecting the latter with the corresponding wall or door frame in order to guarantee the rigidity of the assembly. Such a configuration provides more flexibility in the use of the wall bar, particularly in a living room where space is restricted, thus facilitating its integration into environments with limited space.
