After confirming the completion of the reaction by TLC, an aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) was added to the mixed solution, and the mixture was extracted with methylene chloride (3 x 10 mL). The organic layer was washed with water and brine, dried with MgSO4, and then the solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The concentrated mixture was purified by silica gel tube chromatography to obtain a carbamoyl fluoride product.
