[0002] Technical Field :
[0003] The present invention relates to a mounting fixture for Li- Ion batteries that has been developed to ensure the conformity of the processes between the cell and the cassette in the serial mounting line .
[0004] State of the Art :
[0005] Batteries are devices that allow electrical energy to be stored and used when needed .
[0006] Lithium-ion batteries , or li-ion batteries for short , are fast-recharging batteries . Today, li-ion batteries are used in many electronic devices , especially in tablets and cell phones .
[0007] In recent years , li-ion batteries are also used in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles , of which use increases .
[0008] In the production of batteries , first many battery cells are brought together to form battery modules and then many battery modules are brought together to form battery packs .
[0009] Batteries go through many processes before being finali zed, such as tab cutting, tab bending, gluing to secure the cells , insulation, mechanical support , and foam application for vibration absorption, as well as battery module and battery pack groupings until they are finali zed . The said grouping processes are provided by placing the battery cells in battery cassettes .
[0010] Battery cells and cassettes are mounted on the production line using structures known as mounting fixtures .
[0011] However, the mounting of cells and cassettes is done manually . As a result , defective products may appear during the mounting process . While some of these defective products are the result of operator errors , others are caused by the present mounting fixtures ' structures .
[0012] Battery cells and other members used in batteries are sensitive structures that necessitate careful mounting and connection . However, the current mounting f ixture structures fail to support the precision necessary for mounting and connections . For example , there may be errors in NTC (Negative Temperature Coef ficient ) device connections , and NTC devices may be damaged during mounting . Similarly, errors may occur in the connections of battery cells and deformations may occur in the cells .
[0013] The Object of the Invention :
[0014] The invention aims to enable the mounting of battery cells and other elements without any deformation and in a safe and error- free manner, thanks to a structure speci fically designed for each battery cell and cassette .
[0015] Another obj ect of the invention is to ensure the conduction of the mounting process by eliminating the possibility of operator error through its specially designed structure for each battery cell and cassette . A further object of the invention is to create a workforce and time advantage in the manufacturing line by allowing multiple mounting processes to be performed with the same fixture.

[0027] Description of the Invention:
[0028] The battery mounting fixture (1) of the invention comprises, within its structure, at least one cassette slot (1.1) in which the cassettes are positioned; at least one battery cell slot (1.2) in which the battery cells are positioned; at least one tab pressing part (1.3) providing a bearing for the battery cell lugs; NTC device slot (1.4) , which has a recessed structure and protects the NTC device in case of sagging while allowing it to be positioned without damage; tab cutting unit reference part (1.5) , preventing short circuit and providing referencing in tab cutting process; insulated surface (1.6) , preventing short circuit and providing protection for the mounting fixture (1) ; and mounting fixture base (1.7) produced using wear-resistant material for increasing sliding on the conveyor on the conveyor contact surface of the mounting fixture (1) in the production line.
[0029] The inventive battery mounting fixture (1) has at least one cassette slot (1.1) and a battery cell slot (1.2) . When battery cells are mounted on cassettes, each cell is mounted on a single cassette. Therefore, the number of cassette slots
[0030] (1.1) and battery cell slots (1.2) in the battery mounting fixture (1) are equal. In an example of our invention, a battery mounting fixture (1) with two cassette slots (1.1) and two battery cell slots (1.2) was applied. Based on production requirements, the number of cassette slots (1.1) and battery cell slots (1.2) can be increased or decreased. The quality tolerances of the cassette slots (1.1) and battery cell slots
[0031] (1.2) are designed based on the principles of certainty and reliability .
[0032] The tab pressing part (1.3) is positioned in the battery cell slot (1.2) and provides a bearing for the battery cell lugs. The tab pressing part (1.3) has insulating material on the surfaces that come into contact with the battery cell tabs to ensure the battery cell's safe positioning by preventing short circuits. In our invention, cestamite was used as an insulation material in the tab pressing part (1.3) . OCV control can be implemented in the automation system using the stop formed by the tab pressing part (1.3) .
[0033] NTC device slots (1.4) , which are positioned in cassette slots (1.1) , are special slots that protect NTC devices from damage. The NTC device slots (1.4) comprise insulating material preventing short circuits while positioning the NTC devices. In the invention, cestamite is used as insulation material in the NTC device slots (1.4) . The tab cutting unit reference part (1.5) , which is positioned in the cassette slots (1.1) , is made of steel. The tab cutting unit reference part (1.5) contains insulation material on the surfaces that come into contact with the battery cell to prevent short circuits, ensure safe battery cell mounting, and prevent wear. In our invention, for the tab cutting unit reference part (1.5) , cestamite was used as the insulation material .
[0034] The insulated surface (1.6) forms the upper part of the mounting fixture (1) . The insulated surface is produced of plexy material to prevent short circuit formation, to prevent damage to the parts and to provide protection to the mounting fixture ( 1 ) .
[0035] The mounting fixture base (1.7) is produced of pom (polyoxymethylene) material. In this way, both the slipperiness of the mounting fixture (1) on the conveyor is increased while resistance against abrasion is created.
[0036] The cassette and battery cell slots in the design were carefully designed in accordance with high quality standards and to withstand appropriate processes.
[0037] The inventive mounting fixture (1) was developed to ensure the appropriateness of the processes of the cells and cassettes in the serial mounting line, as well as the processes between the cell and the cassette in the battery serial production line and was designed by thoroughly analyzing each battery cell's characteristics, tolerances, and operating conditions.
[0038] The mounting fixture (1) is stopped in the desired position by using the stopper in the battery mounting line, the fixtures are then pinned through the pin holes in the base of the mounting fixture base (1.7) to ensure precise positioning and all cell cassette processes, including mounting, are carried out . Thanks to the mentioned structures of the cassette slot (1.1) and the battery cell slot (1.2) of the inventive mounting fixture (1) , battery cell-cassette mounting can be performed without any possibility of operator error.
Claims
CLAIMS1. The invention is a mounting fixture (1) , characterized in that it comprises, within its structure, at least one cassette slot (1.1) in which the cassettes are positioned; at least one battery cell slot (1.2) in which the battery cells are positioned; at least one tab pressing part (1.3) providing a bearing for the battery cell lugs; NTC device slot (1.4) , which has a recessed structure and protects the NTC device in case of sagging while allowing it to be positioned without damage; tab cutting unit reference part (1.5) , preventing short circuit and providing referencing in tab cutting process; insulated surface (1.6) , preventing short circuit and providing protection for the mounting fixture (1) ; and mounting fixture base (1.7) made of wearresistant material for increasing sliding on the conveyor on the conveyor contact surface of the mounting fixture (1) in the production line.
2. The mounting fixture (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises two cassette slots (1.1) and two battery cell slots (1.2) .

The mounting fixture (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a tab pressing part (1.3) positioned in the battery cell slot (1.2) , which has an insulating material made of cestamite on the surfaces contacting the battery cell tabs to ensure safe positioning of the battery cell by preventing short circuit formation.
4. The mounting fixture (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises NTC device slots (1.4) positioned in cassette slots (1.1) , having in its structure an insulating material made of cestamite for the safe positioning of NTCdevices by preventing short circuit formation.
5. The mounting fixture (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a tab cutting unit reference part (1.5) positioned in the cassette slots (1.1) , having an insulating material made of cestamite on the surfaces in contact with the battery cell to prevent short circuit formation, to ensure safe mounting of the battery cell and to prevent its wear .
6. The mounting fixture (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises an insulated surface (1.6) made of plexy material to prevent surface short circuit formation, to prevent damage to the parts and to provide protection to the mounting fixture (1) .
7. The mounting fixture (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a mounting fixture base (1.7) made of pom (polyoxymethylene) material to both increase the slipperiness of the mounting fixture (1) on the conveyor and to create resistance against abrasion.
