An information processing apparatus, characterized by, includes a processor, the processor assigning the electronic document to a pre-specified storage location based on an attribute given to the electronic document, receiving a change of the attribute, controlling to display a storage location at which the electronic document is assigned again based on the changed attribute, displaying a first area that receives input of the changed attribute, a second area that displays the pre-specified storage location based on the attribute before the change, and a third area that displays the storage location at which the electronic document is assigned again based on the changed attribute on the same screen, and in response to the changed attribute being input in the first area, displaying the storage location at which the electronic document is assigned again based on the input changed attribute in the third area.
2. A recording medium storing a program for causing a computer to function as: an assignment function of assigning an electronic document to a pre-specified storage location based on an attribute given to the electronic document; a receiving function of receiving a change of the attribute; and a display control function of controlling to display a storage location at which the electronic document is assigned again based on the changed attribute, displaying a first area that receives input of the changed attribute, a second area that displays the pre-specified storage location based on the attribute before the change, and a third area that displays the storage location at which the electronic document is assigned again based on the changed attribute on the same screen, and in response to the changed attribute being input in the first area, displaying the storage location at which the electronic document is assigned again based on the input changed attribute in the third area.
