Abstract

A shaver head and an adapter. The adapter is designed to be connected to the shaver head and to be connected to a handle, wherein the shaver head can be rotated relative to the adapter about a shaver head axis. Claims

1. A razor system comprising a razor head (2) and an adapter (4), wherein the adapter (4) is configured to connect to the razor head (2) and to connect to a handle (3). The razor head (2) is rotatable relative to the adapter (4). The razor head biasing component (7) is at least partially arranged within the adapter (4). The shaver head biasing component (7) includes a compression spring (9) and a pusher element (8) for pushing the shaver head into a rest position, wherein the compression spring (9) is fully contained within the adapter, and wherein the pusher element (8) is only partially contained within the adapter. The adapter (4) is adapted to extend from the handle end (4a) to the head end (4b), the adapter including an opening (11) extending from the head end (4b) to an internal portion of the adapter, wherein the razor head biasing component (7) is mounted within the opening (11) of the adapter. 10. The shaver system of claim 8, wherein the shaver head housing or a portion thereof has one or more second elements (19) having an arcuate shape, the one or more second elements (19) being designed to engage the one or more arcuate elements (17) of the adapter.

11. The shaver system of claim 8, wherein the one or more arcuate elements (17) of the adapter have one or more second protrusions (20) for engaging one or more stop elements of the shaver head housing.

The shaver system of claim 11, wherein the one or more arcuate elements (17) of the adapter have one or more second protrusions (20) on their concave surfaces for engaging one or more stop elements, the stop elements being arranged adjacent to or integrally formed with the one or more second elements (19) of the shaver head.

13. The shaver system of claim 11, wherein when the shaver head is in the stationary position, the one or more second protrusions (20) of the one or more arcuate elements (17) of the adapter engage the one or more stop elements of the shaver head housing.

14. A razor (1) comprising the razor system of claim 1, further comprising a handle (3) designed to be connected to the adapter.
