Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of high voltage power transmission, and more particularly to a cable module with a detachable electrical connection, a gas-insulated device including the cable module, and a method for manufacturing the cable module. Background Art

[0002] Gas-insulated equipment, such as gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) and gas-insulated transmission lines (GIL), are widely used in the field of high-voltage power transmission technology. More specifically, gas-insulated switchgear can be considered as a compact metal-encapsulated switchgear, which consists of multiple high-voltage functional modules such as cable modules, disconnector modules, and circuit breaker modules. Among these functional modules, the cable module (also called the cable terminal module) can be considered as the common area where the external cable (also called the client cable) and the corresponding cable terminal connector are connected to other functional modules of the GIS.

[0003] Currently, detachable electrical connections are required in cable modules to allow temporary electrical insulation of external cables from the GIS so that the functional integrity of the GIS itself can be independently verified on-site for the customer after the cable module is assembled. However, cable modules with detachable electrical connections are usually very complex and difficult to implement, especially because many additional parts need to be added and the size of the cable module is increased.

[0004] For example, Figure 1 1 is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of a cable module with a detachable electrical connection in the prior art. Figure 1 As shown, the cable module includes: a shell 100, which is provided with a first opening 101 and a second opening 102; an insulator 200 and a twisting conductor 300, wherein the twisting conductor 300 is electrically connected to a conductive insert arranged in the insulator 200, and the assembly of the insulator 200 and the twisting conductor 300 is fixed to the shell 100 by means of an adapter 103 assembled on a flange of the shell 100 surrounding the first opening 101; a cover 104, which is assembled on a flange of the shell 100 surrounding the second opening 102; and a cable terminal connector 400 that passes through the wall of the shell 100 and enters the interior of the shell 100, wherein the first end 401 of the cable terminal connector 400 is detachably electrically connected to the twisting conductor 300 inside the shell 100 to form a detachable break structure, and the second end 402 is suitable for connecting an external cable outside the shell 100.

[0005] The disadvantages of the technical solution in the above-mentioned prior art are that, due to the number of parts and the complex structure, such a cable module has high material cost and labor cost, and the detachable fracture structure is difficult to assemble and disassemble on site. More specifically, when it is necessary to separate the twisted conductor 300 from the cable terminal connector 400, it is necessary to remove the cover 104 from the housing 100 and extend the tool from the second opening 102 into the housing 100 to perform the disassembly operation. However, the central axis of the second opening 102 is not aligned with the connection interface between the twisted conductor 300 and the first end 401 of the cable terminal connector 400, and the twisted conductor 300 and the cable terminal connector 400 are connected or separated in a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction of the tool. These factors increase the difficulty of on-site disassembly and assembly of the detachable fracture structure.

[0006] In addition, due to the size of the twisting conductor 300, it can be seen that the outer contour of the assembly of the insulator 200 and the twisting conductor 300 exceeds the area defined by the contour of the flange hole 105 of the adapter 103 for fixing the insulator 200, and thus it is necessary to use such an adapter 103 to assemble the insulator 200, the twisting conductor 300 and such an adapter 103 to each other before assembling them to the housing 100. Therefore, since the adapter 103 is an additional component independent of the housing 100 and is not integrally formed with the housing 100, not only the number of parts is increased, but also the labor cost is increased.

[0007] CN105846336A describes a direct connection module and a switch element including the same. The direct connection module includes: a tubular housing having two axial openings and one radial opening; an oil and gas casing, one end of which extends into the housing and the other end is fixedly connected to one of the two axial openings; an insulator, which is fixedly connected to the radial opening; a radial conductor, which is arranged in the housing and one end of which is fixedly connected to the insulator; and an axial conductor, which is arranged in the housing, one end of which is fixedly connected to the oil and gas casing, the other end of which is connected to the other end of the radial conductor and is provided with a flexible connection.

[0008] JPS59155811U describes a gas-insulated switchgear, comprising: a circuit; a connecting conductor, which is arranged in a substantially straight portion of the circuit in the device, and is detachable in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of the circuit; and a cable terminal device, which has an external connection terminal for connecting to the outside, the cable terminal device having an opening in a groove portion, the opening facing the protruding direction of the external connection terminal, wherein the gas-insulated device and the cable are connected to each other in a box of the cable terminal device.

[0009] DE202014003281U1 describes a complete set of components for assembling a single-phase or three-phase terminal cable device. The terminal cable device is used to connect a distributor to a high-voltage cable. The complete set of components comprises a basic sheath, a sheath attenuator, and a lower closure. One or three tips connected to the cable have a sheath. The sheath attenuator is open from both sides and is used to be fastened to the open end of the basic sheath. The lower closure is used to selectively fasten to the open end of the basic sheath or the sheath attenuator, and has one or three channel openings implemented therein.

[0010] EP3276763A1 describes a cable box between a gas insulated switchgear (GIS) and a high-voltage cable, the cable box having a cable box housing, a GIS terminal of the GIS, a cable end of a cable, and a conductor rod for connecting the cable end to the GIS terminal, wherein the conductor rod is movably arranged in the cable box housing so as to be able to move between a first position connecting the cable end to the GIS terminal and a second position connecting the cable end to the cable box housing.

[0011] WO2016 / 000931A1 describes a cable terminal, which comprises, among other things, three insulated cable connection elements extending into a housing and having internal conductors, and also three phase connectors designed as hollow bodies, which extend into the housing from the side opposite to the cable connection elements and into each of which one of three cable end reinforcements can be inserted. The cable connection elements and the phase connectors each form a corner of a triangle. These triangles are rotated relative to each other in their respective planes, resulting in an offset. [0037] It should be noted that the drawings are not only used to explain and illustrate the present disclosure, but also help to define the present disclosure when necessary. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0038] The implementation and use of the embodiments are discussed in detail below. However, it should be understood that the specific embodiments discussed are only illustrative of specific ways to implement and use the present disclosure, and are not intended to limit the scope of protection of the present disclosure.

[0039] It should be noted that in this specification, "cable module" refers to a high-voltage functional module that constitutes a part of gas-insulated equipment (such as gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) and gas-insulated transmission line (GIL)), and is considered to be a common area where external cables are connected to other functional modules of the gas-insulated equipment.

[0040] In addition, it should be noted that the cable module shown in the figure is a three-phase cable module constituting a part of a three-phase gas-insulated device. That is, the cable module according to the illustrated embodiment includes three cable terminal connectors, which are evenly distributed along the circumferential direction and are respectively connected to three conductive inserts arranged in the insulator and to three external cables. Therefore, the detachable electrical connection of the cable module described below can be applied to the detachable electrical connection between any one of the three cable terminal connectors and the corresponding conductive insert.

[0041] In this specification, technical terms indicating directional relationships should not be understood as absolute concepts. For example, "parallel", "perpendicular", "coincident", and "along (a direction)" should be understood as "substantially parallel", "substantially perpendicular", "substantially coincident", and "substantially along (a direction)", respectively.

[0042] Figures 2 to 6 A preferred embodiment of a cable module with detachable electrical connection according to the present disclosure is shown. As shown in the figure, the cable module according to the present disclosure mainly includes a housing 1, an insulator 2, a cable terminal connector 4 and a plurality of conductors 31, 32, 33.

[0043] The housing 1 has a generally cylindrical shape and is provided with a first opening 11 for fitting the insulator 2 and a second opening 12 used as a tool hole. Preferably, according to the embodiment shown, the center axis A1 of the first opening 11 is perpendicular to the center axis A2 of the second opening 12. The insulator 2 is a pot-type insulator provided with a conductive insert 21 and arranged to be fixed to a first flange 13 of the housing 1 surrounding the first opening 11. The cable terminal 4 is arranged to pass through the wall of the housing 1 opposite to the first opening 11 and comprises a first end 41 positioned inside the housing 1 and a second end 42 positioned outside the housing 1 and configured to connect an external cable.

[0044] The first conductor 31 is arranged to be fixed to the conductive insert 21, for example, by bolts, so as to be electrically connected to the conductive insert 21 to form a first assembly. Preferably, according to the embodiment shown, in a cross section perpendicular to the central axis A1 of the first opening 11, that is, in a cross section parallel to the central axis A2 of the second opening 12, the outer contour of the first conductor 31 does not exceed the area defined by the contour of the first opening 11. Thus, the first assembly can be directly fixed to the first flange 13 of the housing 1 through the insulator 2 without using an additional adapter.

[0045] The second conductor 32 is arranged to be electrically connected to the first end 41 of the cable terminal connector 4 to form a second assembly, and a passage 32a is provided that runs through the entire second conductor 32 along the central axis A2 of the second opening 12. Preferably, according to the embodiment shown, the second assembly further includes a fourth conductor 34 that is fixedly connected to the first end 41 of the cable terminal connector 4, and one end of the second conductor 32 is inserted into the fourth conductor 34. In this case, the second conductor 32 is arranged to be movable relative to the fourth conductor 34 in a direction perpendicular to the central axis A2 of the second opening 12, and is electrically connected to the fourth conductor 34 through an electrical contact 62 (e.g., a coil spring) that is arranged around the end of the second conductor 32 and embedded in the fourth conductor 34.

[0046] The third conductor 33 is arranged to be inserted into the channel 32a of the second conductor 32, and is electrically connected to the second conductor 32 through an electrical contact 61 (e.g., a coil spring) embedded in the channel 32a. The third conductor 33 is movable in the channel 32a substantially along the central axis A2 of the second opening 12 relative to the second conductor 32 (and therefore relative to the housing 1) to be fixedly connected to or separated from the first conductor 31, thereby achieving a detachable electrical connection between the first conductor 31 and the second conductor 32, that is, achieving a detachable electrical connection between the first component and the second component.

[0047] It can be understood that the movable direction of the third conductor 33 (i.e., the extending direction of the channel 32a) is not necessarily absolutely along the central axis A2 of the second opening 12. In fact, the movable direction of the third conductor 33 can be parallel to the central axis A2 of the second opening 12 but slightly separated, or can be slightly inclined relative to the central axis A2 of the second opening 12, as long as the third conductor 33 can pass through the second opening 12.

[0048] Preferably, according to the illustrated embodiment, the third conductor 33 is detachably connected to the first conductor 31 by a bolt 5 that passes through the third conductor 33 and is screwed into the first conductor 31, and the central axis of the bolt 51 coincides with the central axis A2 of the second opening 12. That is, when the first conductor 31 needs to be electrically connected to the second conductor 32, a tool (such as a screw tool) is inserted into the housing 1 from the second opening 12 along the central axis A2 of the second opening 12, so as to tightly and fixedly connect the third conductor 33 to the first conductor 31 by tightening the bolt 5. Similarly, when the first conductor 31 needs to be electrically insulated from the second conductor 32, a tool (such as a screw tool) is inserted into the housing 1 from the second opening 12 along the central axis A2 of the second opening 12, so as to separate the third conductor 33 from the first conductor 31 by loosening the bolt 5.

[0049] When assembling the cable module, first, the first assembly formed by the insulator 2 and the first conductor 31 is directly fixed to the first flange 13 of the housing 1 surrounding the first opening 11, so that the first conductor 31 is positioned at a predetermined position inside the housing 1; then, the second assembly formed by the cable terminal connector 4, the second conductor 32 and the optional fourth conductor 34 is passed through the wall of the housing 1 opposite to the first opening 11, so that the first end 41 of the cable terminal connector 4, the second conductor 32 and the fourth conductor 34 are positioned at a predetermined position inside the housing 1; finally, the third conductor 33 is arranged by a tool passing through the second opening 12 so that the first assembly is detachably electrically connected to the second assembly. It can be understood that the third conductor 33 can be pre-inserted into the channel 32a of the second conductor 32 before the second assembly is inserted into the housing 1, or the third conductor 33 can be inserted into the channel 32a of the second conductor 32 through the second opening 12 by a tool after the second assembly is inserted into the housing 1.

[0050] It can be seen that the cable module with detachable electrical connection according to the present disclosure is relatively simple in structure, easy to manufacture, and has low material cost. In addition, the cable module can obtain fast, safe, and convenient disassembly and assembly of the detachable fracture structure, thereby greatly reducing on-site work time and labor costs.

[0051] In addition, due to the mobility of the third conductor 33 relative to the second conductor 32 in the direction along the central axis A2 of the second opening 12 and the mobility of the second conductor 32 relative to the optional fourth conductor 34 in a direction perpendicular to the central axis A2 of the second opening 12, the detachable fracture structure can compensate for position deviations caused by manufacturing tolerances or thermal expansion and contraction during operation in these two directions, thereby effectively avoiding damage to components and extending the service life of the cable module.

[0052] In addition, according to the illustrated embodiment, the cable module further comprises a first cover 7 integrated with a high-voltage detection sensor, the first cover 7 being fixed to a second flange 14 of the housing 1 surrounding the second opening 12. Optionally, the first cover 7 may also be integrated with a gas filling port 71 and a densitometer 72. In a variant, the first cover 7 may be used only to cover the second opening 12 without integrating any other functions.

[0053] In addition, according to the illustrated embodiment, the housing 1 is further provided with a third opening 15, and the cable module further comprises a second cover 8 integrated with an explosion-proof membrane, the second cover 8 being fixed to a third flange 16 of the housing 1 surrounding the third opening 15. Optionally, the second cover 8 may also be integrated with a desiccant.

[0054] Figure 7 This is a cross-sectional diagram of a grounding structure of the cable module. Figure 7As shown, when the second opening 12 is opened and the third conductor 33 is taken out, the grounding of the cable side can be conveniently achieved by the substantially T-shaped metal piece 9 which is partially inserted into the passage 32 a of the second conductor 32 and fixed on the second flange 14 of the metal shell 1 .

[0055] The technical content and technical features of the present disclosure have been disclosed above. However, it can be understood that under the creative ideas of the present disclosure, technicians in this field can make various changes and improvements to the above disclosed concepts, but they all belong to the protection scope of the present disclosure. The description of the above implementation mode is exemplary rather than restrictive, and the protection scope of the present disclosure is determined by the claims.
