Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present application relates to the field of energy technology, and in particular to a reflux-based self-humidification regulating hydrogen catalytic combustion system and method thereof. Background Art
[0002] As the most abundant element in the universe, hydrogen energy has the characteristics of wide sources, rich application scenarios, high calorific value, zero carbon emissions, and renewable. It is regarded as the energy with the greatest development potential in the 21st century. At present, hydrogen energy has been widely used in transportation, industry, electronics, construction and other fields. At the same time, hydrogen energy can also be used as an energy reserve to solve the energy crisis. Therefore, the hydrogen energy industry will usher in a huge development opportunity. With the rapid development of the hydrogen energy industry, the treatment of some leaked and unused hydrogen in the process of hydrogen storage, transportation and use has also received more and more attention. On the one hand, the emission of hydrogen in a closed or poorly ventilated environment is prone to cause the accumulation of hydrogen and bring the risk of combustion and explosion, such as hydrogen-powered submarines, hydrogen-powered subways, hydrogen-powered mining cars and other closed or semi-closed use scenarios; on the other hand, although hydrogen is a clean energy, it can react with ozone in the stratosphere to destroy the ozone layer, and hydrogen will react with hydroxyl radicals in the air, resulting in a decrease in hydroxyl radicals that react with methane in the atmosphere. Large amounts of hydrogen emissions will also intensify the greenhouse effect.
[0003] Hydrogen catalytic combustion technology is an effective technology for treating unused hydrogen. It mainly passes a hydrogen-oxygen mixture with a certain hydrogen concentration through a reactor carrying a Pd or Pt-based catalyst, and reacts with hydrogen to generate water under the action of the catalyst, thereby achieving effective hydrogen consumption and avoiding the direct discharge of high-concentration hydrogen into the air. In hydrogen catalytic combustion technology, there are many factors that affect the effect of hydrogen catalytic combustion, and one important aspect is the content of water vapor, that is, the humidity of the gas. In the existing hydrogen catalytic combustion technology, the hydrogen removal system without humidification is prone to high hydrogen reaction temperature, long combustion flame propagation distance, and uneven gas mixing; the hydrogen catalytic combustion system has a low hydrogen removal rate in the startup phase, and there is no reaction gas circulation, which is easy to cause incompletely reacted hydrogen to be directly discharged. The humidifier of the hydrogen removal system containing a humidifier has large power consumption and volume, which increases the cost of use and the volume of space layout. Summary of the invention

[0069] In the self-humidification regulation hydrogen catalytic combustion system 10 based on reflux in this embodiment, the combustion modes of the mixture of hydrogen, air (oxygen) and water vapor include diffusion flame, slow or accelerated deflagration and explosion. The combustion mode of hydrogen is determined by the hydrogen concentration, initial conditions and boundary conditions, wherein the initial water vapor concentration in the initial conditions has an important influence on the hydrogen combustion mode. On the one hand, water vapor can reduce the peak temperature and peak pressure of hydrogen combustion. Since the presence of water vapor will increase the specific heat capacity of the entire mixed gas, under the condition of equal hydrogen concentration, the presence of water vapor will cause the maximum temperature and maximum pressure generated by combustion to decrease significantly, effectively avoiding the agglomeration and deactivation of the catalyst at high temperature. At the same time, the reduction of the maximum reaction temperature can increase the service life of the reactor; on the other hand, the increase of water vapor concentration will reduce the flame propagation speed, and has a significant blocking effect on the propagation of the hydrogen combustion flame. If flashback occurs during the catalytic combustion process, the flame can be prevented from diffusing from the boundary layer of the hydrogen catalytic combustion device to the system pipeline, thereby improving the safety of the hydrogen catalytic combustion system; in addition, water vapor plays the role of an inert gas, and the flow accelerates the mixing of hydrogen to avoid local condensation of water vapor. In the hydrogen catalytic combustion reactor 700, the product of hydrogen catalytic combustion is water. Under high-temperature reaction conditions, it is usually discharged in the form of water vapor along with the reacted gas. However, the present application recycles the reacted gas rich in water vapor back to the mixing pipe 101 at the front end of the hydrogen catalytic combustion reactor 700, which can not only humidify the gas, but also control the humidity of the mixed gas by controlling the amount of circulating gas. In addition, at the initial startup stage of the hydrogen catalytic combustion system, due to the uneven reaction temperature, it is easy to cause insufficient hydrogen reaction and low hydrogen elimination rate. By recirculating the incompletely reacted mixed gas to the hydrogen catalytic combustion reactor 700, secondary hydrogen elimination is achieved, and the unreacted hydrogen can be completely catalytically burned.
