Technical Field
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a contact tip for welding. Background Art
[0002] Patent document 1 discloses a welding torch, which includes: a welding power supply conductive tip, which is composed of a conductive member provided with a welding wire through hole for supplying welding wire; and a welding tip cover, which covers the welding power supply conductive tip and is built therein. In the welding power supply conductive tip, a pair of half-cut welding tip members divided into half-cut shapes in the axial direction of the welding wire through hole make the protrusions provided at the base ends of the pressure receiving parts of the half-cut welding tip members abut against each other, so that the half-cut welding tip members are arranged in the welding tip cover in a tiltable movable state in which the distance between the front ends of each half-cut welding tip member is expanded and reduced. In addition, the welding torch has a welding tip front end side force applying unit, which tilts and moves in a manner to narrow the distance between the front ends of the half-cut welding tip members, thereby maintaining the power supply point for supplying electricity to the welding wire at the front end side of the half-cut welding tip member.

[0019] (Process of Completion of the Invention)
[0020] In a conventional conductive tip for welding power supply, an elastic member is arranged coaxially with the feeding direction of the welding wire, a point of application located at a pressure-receiving portion of the half-cut welding tip member is pressed from behind by a welding tip pressing member, and a point of application located at a front end portion of the half-cut welding tip member is rotated (tilted) toward the axial direction of the welding wire through hole with a fulcrum of a welding tip cover abutted by the pressure-receiving portion as the center, thereby clamping the welding wire with the front end portion of the half-cut welding tip member.
[0021] Here, there is a need to further reduce the outer diameter of the welding power supply conductive tip. In the case of further reducing the outer diameter of the welding power supply conductive tip, the welding power supply conductive tip needs to further reduce the rotation (tilting movement) amount of the pressure-bearing portion (point of application) of the half-cut welding tip member toward the outside in the circumferential direction. Therefore, the distance between the point of application and the fulcrum must be shortened relative to the distance between the fulcrum and the point of action. Therefore, when the distance between the point of application and the fulcrum is shortened, the clamping force of the welding wire at the point of application of the welding power supply conductive tip is reduced, so an elastic component with a large spring constant must be used to compensate for the reduced clamping force. However, for the corresponding elastic component, the larger the spring constant, the greater the deviation of the spring constant of the elastic component. As a result, in the welding power supply conductive tip using an elastic component with a large spring constant, the quality of welding (for example, positional offset of the welding part, etc.) may deviate.
[0022] Hereinafter, each embodiment of the welding conductive tip of the present disclosure will be described in detail with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings. However, sometimes more detailed descriptions than necessary are omitted. For example, sometimes detailed descriptions of matters that are already known and repeated descriptions of substantially the same structures are omitted. This is to avoid the following description from becoming unnecessarily lengthy and to make it easy for those skilled in the art to understand. It should be noted that the accompanying drawings and the following descriptions are provided for those skilled in the art to fully understand the present disclosure, and are not intended to limit the subject matter described in the technical solution through these.
[0023] First, refer to Figure 1 , the structure of the welding conductive tip 11 is described. Figure 1 It is a cross-sectional view of welding contact tip 11 according to the embodiment. Figure 1 The welding tip 13 shown is a cross-sectional view obtained by cutting the welding contact tip 11 along the XZ plane.
[0024] The welding tip 11 includes a welding tip 13. The welding tip 11 may also be referred to as a collet welding tip. The welding tip 13 is an example of a power supply tip, and may also be referred to as a power supply member, a collet, or the like.
[0025] The welding conductive tip 11 is mounted on the front end of a welding torch (not shown) and feeds the welding wire 15 toward the front end of the welding torch (wire feeding direction Q). The welding torch is used for consumable electrode gas shielded arc welding, etc. In the welding torch, a cylindrical shielding gas supply nozzle (not shown) is coaxially arranged with the welding conductive tip 11 and radially outside the welding conductive tip 11.
[0026] The welding conductive tip 11 includes an upper tip base 17, an elastic member 19, a lower tip base 21, a guide 23, a tip housing 25, and a tip 13 along the wire feeding direction Q. The welding conductive tip 11 has a coaxial structure in which the guide 23, the tip 13, and the tip housing 25 are coaxially arranged around the axis 15A of the welding wire 15.
[0027] The upper welding tip base 17 is screwed with the welding torch body (not shown) of the welding torch and is mounted on the main body front end of the welding torch body through the threaded portion 27. The welding wire 15 is passed through the welding wire introduction hole 29 formed coaxially with the threaded axis of the threaded portion 27. The threaded portion 27 is connected to the upper welding tip base 17 formed in a cylindrical shape.
[0028] An external thread portion 35 is formed on the outer periphery of the front end of the upper tip base 17. The external thread portion 35 of the upper tip base 17 is screwed together with an internal thread portion 37 provided on one end side of the lower tip base 21 to be fixed.
[0029] The upper tip base 17 has a housing portion 33 between the threaded portion 27 and the guide upper surface 41 , and the housing portion 33 houses the elastic member 19 (for example, a coil spring or the like).
[0030] The elastic member 19 is accommodated in the accommodating portion 33, with one end abutting against the upper welding tip base 17, and the other end (in the welding wire feeding direction Q) abutting against the guide upper surface 41 of the guide 23. The elastic member 19 applies force to the guide 23 in the welding wire feeding direction Q. It should be noted that the elastic member 19 in the present embodiment has a spring constant of, for example, 7.8 N / mm, but is not limited thereto. The spring constant of the elastic member 19 may be 2.5 to 20 N / mm.
[0031] The lower tip base 21 has a guide housing portion 39 that houses the guide 23 . The guide housing portion 39 houses the guide 23 so that the guide 23 is movable in the wire feeding direction Q. The lower tip base 21 is provided with a convex portion 43 over the entire circumference of the inner side of the guide housing portion 39 .
[0032] The guide 23 is formed with a wire guide hole 47 for guiding the welding wire 15. It should be noted that the wire guide hole 47 is a through hole substantially coaxial with the wire introduction hole 29 formed in the threaded portion 27, through which the welding wire 15 passes. When the guide upper surface 41 is urged in the welding wire feeding direction Q by the elastic member 19, the guide 23 moves in the guide housing portion 39 in the welding wire feeding direction Q, pressing the welding tip 13.
[0033] It should be noted that when the flange portion 45 abuts against the convex portion 43 of the lower tip base 21 , the movement of the guide 23 in the wire feeding direction Q is restricted.
[0034] The guide 23 has a tapered portion 49 that presses the welding tip 13 in the wire feeding direction Q. The outer diameter of the front end of the tapered portion 49 decreases toward the welding tip 13 (ie, the front end becomes thinner), and the front end surface 51 is formed substantially circular when viewed from the Z direction.
[0035] The lower tip base 21 has an internal thread portion 53 formed on the other end side. The internal thread portion 53 is screwed with the external thread portion 55 of the tip housing 25 to fix the tip housing 25 to the lower tip base 21 .
[0036] The tip housing 25 has a tip housing space 57 for housing the tip 13 (specifically, the first tip 63 and the second tip 65). The tip housing 25 has a substantially truncated cone-shaped housing front end portion 59 that tapers toward the wire feeding direction Q.
[0037] Housing front end 59 communicates with tip accommodating space 57 and is provided with wire delivery hole 61 for delivering welding wire 15 delivered from tip 13 to the outside of welding conductive tip 11. Wire delivery hole 61 is a tapered or cylindrical hole that increases in diameter in wire delivery direction Q.
[0038] The welding contact tip 11 includes an elastic member 19 for applying force to a guide 23, a guide 23 for pressing the welding tip 13 based on the force generated by the elastic member 19, and a welding tip 13 capable of feeding the welding wire 15 toward a welding portion of a welding base material (not shown) while clamping the welding wire 15. These are arranged in the order of the elastic member 19, the guide 23, and the welding tip 13 along the wire feeding direction Q of the welding wire 15.
[0039] Next, refer to Figure 2 to Figure 4 The gripping of welding wire 15 by welding tip 13 will be described. Figure 2 yes Figure 1 Enlarged view of the main part. Figure 3 It is a side view of the welding tip 13. Figure 4 It is a perspective view of the welding tip 13 .
[0040] Figure 3 The side view of the welding tip 13 shown is to make Figure 2 The welding tip 13 shown is a side view after being rotated 180 degrees around the axis 15A of the welding wire 15. Figure 4 The welding tip 13 shown in the figure shows a state where the first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65 are combined.
[0041] It should be noted that Figure 2 The cross-sectional view of the welding conductive tip 11 is shown with Figure 1 Similarly, this is a cross-sectional view obtained by cutting the welding contact tip 11 along the XZ plane.
[0042] In the welding tip 13, the welding wire 15 fed from the welding wire guide hole 47 of the guide 23 is clamped by the front end (action point C) and sent toward the front end of the welding conductive tip 11. The welding tip 13 is composed of a first welding tip 63 and a second welding tip 65. The first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65 are each formed with welding wire through holes 67A and 67B formed by half cutting in two directions in the direction of the axis 15A.
[0043] By combining the first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65 , the welding tip 13 includes the half-cut welding wire through hole 67A provided in the first welding tip 63 and the half-cut welding wire through hole 67B provided in the second welding tip 65 , forming one welding wire through hole through which the welding wire 15 can pass.
[0044] Furthermore, the first welding tip 63 has a slit 75 formed by cutting a substantially disk-shaped bottom portion 85 in the radial direction on the wire feeding direction Q side.
[0045] The four points where the welding tip 13 is pressed by the guide 23 constitute the force points B (see Figure 6 , Figure 8 ), rotates around a total of four fulcrums A in contact with the welding tip housing 25. As a result, the tip ends (action points C) of the first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65 clamp the welding wire 15 (see Figure 2 Specifically, the welding tip 13 clamps the welding wire 15 at the position of the action point C by rotating the first welding tip 63 in the direction R1 and the second welding tip 65 in the direction R2.
[0046] The welding tip 13 is formed to have a size such that a first distance L1 between the force point B and the fulcrum A and a second distance L2 between the fulcrum A and the action point C satisfy L2 / 2<L1.
[0047] The fulcrum A is located at the locking portions 69A and 69B having the largest outer diameter of the welding tip 13 (i.e., the first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65) centered at the axis 15A. The first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65 each have two points separated in the circumferential direction as the fulcrum A (see Figure 4 ).
[0048] The welding tip 13 is locked to the convex portion 93 of the welding tip housing 25 at a total of four supporting points A. Then, the welding tip 13 rotates in directions R1 and R2 about two supporting points A, respectively, based on the pressing force of the guide 23, thereby clamping the welding wire 15 at the action point C.
[0049] The first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65 of the welding tip 13 each have an inclined portion 71A, 71B extending radially outward from the fulcrum B toward the fulcrum A in a side view viewed from the X direction or the Y direction. In the welding conductive tip 11, the inclined portions 71A, 71B form a gap 91 (see FIG. 1 ) between the inclined portions 71A, 71B and the inner wall surface 73 of the welding tip housing 25. Fig. 9 , Fig.10 ). It should be noted that the gap 91 will be described later.
[0050] Thus, the inclined portions 71A and 71B of the welding tip 13 are less likely to interfere with the inner wall surface 73 of the welding tip housing 25. In addition, the welding tip 13 can ensure a movable range (i.e., rotation angle) for the first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65 to rotate in the directions R1 and R2 respectively around the fulcrum A, even if the first distance L1 is extended compared to the case where the inclined portions 71A and 71B are not formed. That is, even if the welding tip 1 does not use the elastic member 19 with a large spring constant, the clamping force on the welding wire 15 at the point of action C can be further increased.
[0051] Therefore, welding contact tip 11 can deliver welding wire 15 to a predetermined welding location with higher accuracy by causing welding tip 13 to clamp welding wire 15 with sufficient clamping force. That is, welding contact tip 11 can improve the quality of welding.
[0052] Figure 5 It is a perspective view of the first welding tip 63 . Figure 6 Yes Figure 5 The first welding tip 63 shown is a perspective view of the first welding tip 63 after being rotated 90 degrees around the axis 15A.
[0053] The first welding tip 63 includes: each of a pair of inclined surfaces 81A in contact with the guide 23, a stopper 69A in contact with the welding tip housing 25 from each of the inclined surfaces 81A, an inclined portion 71A extending from the inclined surface 81A toward the stopper 69A to the radial outside of the axis 15A, and a shaft portion 83 formed with substantially the same outer diameter from the stopper 69A toward the slit 75. The shaft portion 83 is formed with a smaller diameter than the stopper 69A having the largest outer diameter in the first welding tip 63, with the axis 15A as the center, and a substantially disk-shaped bottom portion 85 is formed at a position closer to the -Z side than the point of action C for clamping the welding wire 15.
[0054] The bottom 85 is formed with a slit 75 which cuts the bottom 85 in the diameter direction (X direction). Due to the formation of the slit 75, the first welding tip 63 can prevent the bottom 85 from contacting the welding wire 15 clamped at the action point C and fed to the welding wire feeding hole 61 of the housing front end portion 59.
[0055] The first welding tip 63 has a pair of inclined surfaces 81A extending radially outward from the axis 15A toward the wire feeding direction Q. The pair of inclined surfaces 81A form a guide receiving portion 79A in a half-cut cone shape whose opening diameter decreases from the point of force B contacting the guide 23 toward the wire through hole 67A through which the welding wire 15 passes.
[0056] Figure 7 It is a side view of the second welding tip 65 . Figure 8 Yes Figure 7 The second welding tip 65 shown is a side view of the second welding tip 65 after being rotated 180 degrees around the axis 15A.
[0057] The second welding tip 65 has a shaft portion 77 formed between the locking portion 69B serving as the fulcrum A and the action point C. The shaft portion 77 is formed with the axis 15A as the center and has a smaller diameter than the locking portion 69B having the largest outer diameter in the second welding tip 65 .
[0058] The second welding tip 65 has a guide receiving portion 79B that contacts and presses the guide 23 urged by the elastic member 19 at two force points B. The second welding tip 65 has a tapered guide receiving portion 79B whose opening becomes smaller from the position of the force points B pressed by the guide 23 toward the wire through hole 67B.
[0059] The second welding tip 65 has a pair of inclined surfaces 81B extending radially outward from the axis 15A toward the wire feeding direction Q. The pair of inclined surfaces 81B form a guide receiving portion 79B in a half-cut cone shape whose opening diameter decreases from the point of force B contacting the guide 23 toward the wire through hole 67B through which the welding wire 15 passes.
[0060] Fig. 9 It is a cross-sectional view of the welding tip 13 . Fig. 9 The welding tip 13 shown is a cross-sectional view obtained by cutting the welding tip 13 along the YZ plane. Figure 2 A cross-sectional view viewed from direction E is shown. Fig.10 yes Fig. 9 An enlarged view of the main part.
[0061] like Fig. 9 As shown, in the welding tip 13 pressed by the guide member 23, the distance between the fulcrum A of the first welding tip 63 and the fulcrum A of the second welding tip 65 (i.e., the distance D2 between the locking portion 69A on one side and the locking portion 69B on the other side opposite to the axis 15A) and the inner diameter D1 of the welding tip housing 25 are substantially the same size.
[0062] That is, the inclined portions 71A and 71B of the welding tip 13 expand toward the inner surface of the welding tip housing 25 (that is, the radial outside of the axis 15A), and become the maximum outer diameter at the locking portions 69A and 69B, respectively. The distance D2 between the locking portion 69A on one side and the locking portion 69B on the other side is substantially equal to the inner diameter D1 of the welding tip housing 25.
[0063] The tip housing 25 has a convex portion 93 between the hole portion 89 having an inner diameter D1 with the axis 15A as the central axis and the tip accommodating space 57. When the tip 13 is pressed by the guide 23 at the fulcrum B and the locking portions 69A and 69B contacting the convex portion 93 are respectively contacted at the fulcrum A and locked, a gap 91 is formed between the hole portion 89 of the tip housing 25 and the inclined portions 71A and 71B due to the inclination of the inclined portions 71A and 71B.
[0064] Thus, in the welding conductive tip 11, even if the clamping portion (i.e., the point of action C) that clamps the welding wire 15 wears as the welding wire 15 is fed, and the swing (rotation) amount around the fulcrum A increases, the swing (rotation) margin of the swing (rotation) amount can be obtained through the gap 91, so that the second distance L2 between the fulcrum A and the point of action C can be further reduced (L2 / 2<L1). In addition, in the welding conductive tip 11, even if the swing (rotation) amount around the fulcrum A increases due to the wear of the clamping portion (i.e., the point of action C), the swing (rotation) margin of the swing (rotation) amount can be obtained through the gap 91, so that the clamping of the welding wire 15 at the point of action C can be maintained.
[0065] In addition, the convex portion 93 is connected to the hole portion 89, and a tapered surface 95 (an example of an inclined surface) is formed on the surface on the side where the locking portions 69A and 69B of the welding tip 13 are locked. The tapered surface 95 of the convex portion 93 viewed from the Z direction is formed so that the opening diameter becomes smaller toward the inner side of the radius of the axis 15A. As a result, in the welding conductive tip 11, the welding tip 13 pressed by the guide 23 is locked due to the inclination of the convex portion 93, and the position of the welding tip 13 can be restricted.
[0066] Thus, the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment is a welding conductive tip including a tip housing 25, a tip 13 (an example of a power supply tip) which is accommodated in the tip housing 25 and sandwiches the welding wire 15 supplied from one end side at the other end opposite to the one end to supply power, and a guide 23 which presses the tip 13 from one end side and is accommodated in the tip housing 25. The tip 13 has an outer diameter (that is, an outer diameter of the inclined portions 71A and 71B centered on the axis 15A) from the force point B (an example of a pressing point) pressed by the guide 23 to the fulcrum A contacting the tip housing 25, and is shaped to expand from the force point B toward the fulcrum A, and the tip 13 is rotated around the fulcrum A due to the pressing of the guide 23, so that the welding wire 15 is sandwiched at the other end (point of action C).
[0067] Thus, the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment can clamp the welding wire 15 at the other end (action point C) of the welding tip 13 and feed the welding wire 15 in the welding wire feeding direction Q. In addition, even if the action point C is consumed, the welding tip 13 can maintain the clamping state and keep a stable contact state with the welding wire 15, so that the Joule heat generation at the power supply point (action point C) can be reduced. Therefore, in the welding conductive tip 11, the melting amount of the welding tip 13 itself at the power supply point (action point C) is reduced, so the life of the welding tip 13 can be extended.
[0068] Furthermore, in the welding conductive tip 11, the inclined portions 71A and 71B of the welding tip 13 expand toward the inner surface of the welding tip housing 25 (that is, the radial outside of the axis 15A), so that the swing (rotation) margin of the welding tip 13 (that is, each of the first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65) around the fulcrum A can be increased. As a result, the first distance L1 from the welding tip 13's force point B to the fulcrum A can be ensured, so that in the welding conductive tip 11, even if the elastic member 19 with a large spring constant is not used, the clamping force of the other end (point of action C) of the welding tip 13 on the welding wire 15 can be made more stable. In addition, in the welding conductive tip 11, even if the welding tip 13 melts at the other end (point of action C) of the welding tip 13, the welding tip 13 can swing by an amount corresponding to the swing (rotation) margin, so that the welding wire 15 can be clamped more stably. Therefore, with welding contact tip 11 , it is possible to more effectively suppress positional deviation of welding wire 15 on the XY plane, and improve welding quality by suppressing target deviation from a welding portion (position).
[0069] In addition, the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment further includes an elastic member 19 for applying force to the guide 23 in the supply direction of the welding wire 15. The elastic member 19, the guide 23, and the welding tip 13 are arranged in the order of the elastic member 19, the guide 23, and the welding tip 13 along the supply direction. Thus, the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment applies force to the guide 23 in the welding wire feeding direction Q by the elastic member 19, and the applied guide 23 presses the welding tip 13 at the force point B in the welding wire feeding direction Q, so that the welding tip 13 swings (rotates) around the fulcrum A and can clamp the welding wire 15 at the action point C.
[0070] In addition, the welding tip 13 of the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment is composed of at least two welding tips (each of the first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65). Therefore, the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment can clamp the welding wire 15 at the action point C by rotating the half-cut first welding tip 63 in the direction R1 with the fulcrum A as the rotation center, and rotating the second welding tip 65 in the direction R2 with the fulcrum A as the rotation center. It should be noted that the first welding tip 63 and the second welding tip 65 have the fulcrum A, the force point B, and the action point C at substantially the same position in the direction orthogonal to the axis 15A.
[0071] In addition, the outer diameter of the welding tip 13 at the fulcrum A of the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment (that is, the distance D2 between the one locking portion 69A and the one locking portion 69B) is substantially equal to the inner diameter D1 of the welding tip housing 25. As a result, the movement of the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment in the direction orthogonal to the axis 15A of the welding tip 13 is restricted, and the shaking and positional deviation of the welding tip 13 in the welding tip housing 25 can be suppressed.
[0072] In addition, the welding tip housing 25 of the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment has a convex portion 93 on the inner surface that contacts the welding tip 13. The surface of the convex portion 93 that contacts the welding tip 13 is a tapered surface 95 (an example of an inclined surface). Therefore, the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment has a surface of the convex portion 93 of the welding tip housing 25 that contacts the welding tip 13 formed by the tapered surface 95 that is inclined toward the inner side of the radius of the axis 15A, so the locking portions 69A and 69B of the welding tip 13 are respectively locked on the tapered surface 95 and positioned. That is, the welding conductive tip 11 can restrict the shaking and deviation of the welding tip 13 by the tapered surface 95 of the convex portion 93, and can further reduce the deviation of the feeding direction of the welding wire 15.
[0073] Furthermore, in the welding conductive tip 11, the welding tip 13 is locked on the tapered surface 95, so that the welding wire guide hole 47 of the welding tip housing 25 and the welding wire through hole of the welding tip 13 can be adjusted to be substantially coaxial. As a result, the welding conductive tip 11 can more effectively suppress the twisting and deformation of the welding wire 15 when passing through the welding wire guide hole 47 and the welding wire through hole.
[0074] In addition, in the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment, the first distance L1 between the force point B and the fulcrum A and the second distance L2 between the fulcrum A and the point where the welding wire 15 is clamped satisfy L2 / 2<L1. Therefore, the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment has a swing (rotation) margin with the fulcrum A based on the inclination of the inclined portions 71A and 71B as the rotation center, so even if the second distance L2 is a distance that satisfies L2 / 2<L1, that is, L2<L1×2, the welding wire 15 can be clamped at the action point C.
[0075] In addition, the spring constant of the elastic member 19 of the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment is 2.5 to 20 N / mm. Therefore, the welding conductive tip 11 of the embodiment does not use the elastic member 19 with a large spring constant, thereby suppressing the deviation of the spring constant of the actual elastic member 19, thereby being able to more stably clamp the welding wire 15 at the action point C. It should be noted that, when the spring constant of the elastic member 19 is 2.5 N / mm or less, the welding conductive tip 11 may not be able to stably clamp the welding wire 15 even if the above-mentioned assisting effect is obtained.
[0076] Above, various embodiments are described with reference to the accompanying drawings, but the present disclosure is certainly not limited to the examples described. As long as one is skilled in the art, various modification examples, correction examples, substitution examples, additional examples, deletion examples, and equivalent examples can be thought of within the scope of the technical solution, which is self-evident, and these should certainly be understood as belonging to the technical scope of the present disclosure.
