[0028] Hereinafter, a plurality of embodiments of the reaction force imparting device and an accelerator device to which the reaction force imparting device is applied will be described based on the drawings. In addition, substantially the same components in the plurality of embodiments are denoted by the same reference numerals and their description will be omitted.
[0029] (First Embodiment)
[0030] Figure 1 , Figure 2 Detailed Description of the Invention A reaction force applying device according to a first embodiment and an accelerator device to which the reaction force applying device is applied are shown.
[0031] The accelerator device 60 is mounted on the vehicle 1 and is used to detect the accelerator opening corresponding to the rotation angle of the pedal 70 stepped on by the driver and control the driving state of the vehicle 1. The accelerator device 60 adopts a wire control acceleration method and is not mechanically connected to the throttle device of the vehicle 1. The accelerator device 60 transmits information related to the accelerator opening corresponding to the rotation angle of the pedal 70 to an electronic control unit (hereinafter referred to as "ECU") not shown in the figure. The ECU controls the throttle device based on the accelerator opening transmitted from the accelerator device 60. In this way, the driving state of the vehicle 1 is controlled.
[0032] The reaction force applying device 10 is mounted on the vehicle 1 together with the accelerator device 60, and can apply a reaction force F2 to the driver's pedal force F1 to the pedal 70 of the accelerator device 60. The reaction force applying device 10 can provide driver notifications such as danger notifications and fuel efficiency improvement notifications to the driver by applying a reaction force to the pedal 70 of the accelerator device 60. In addition, the reaction force applying device 10 can make the pedal 70 serve as a footrest by limiting the rotation of the pedal 70.
[0033] exist Figure 1 In the figure, the x-axis indicates the forward direction of the vehicle 1, the y-axis indicates the vehicle width direction, and the z-axis indicates the vertical upward direction. In the following, unless otherwise specified, the shape or structure of the accelerator device 60 and the reaction force imparting device 10 installed in the vehicle 1 is described. For example, "above" or "upper side" refers to the upper side or upper side of the accelerator device 60 or the reaction force imparting device 10 installed in the vehicle 1. In addition, in the present embodiment, the vehicle floor 2 has a wall surface 7 parallel to the yz plane and a wall surface 8 inclined relative to the wall surface 7.
[0034] The accelerator device 60 includes a pedal housing 61, a pedal 70, etc. The pedal housing 61 is fixed to a wall surface 8 of a floor panel 2 of the vehicle 1 by, for example, mounting bolts (not shown), thereby being mounted to the floor panel 2.
[0035] The pedal 70 is rotatably supported on the pedal housing 61 so as to rotate around the rotation axis Ax1. The pedal 70 is provided with a pad 71 stepped on by the driver. An accelerator opening sensor (not shown) is provided in the pedal housing 61. The accelerator opening sensor detects the accelerator opening corresponding to the rotation angle of the pedal 70 rotated by the driver's stepping operation and transmits it to the ECU. In addition, the rotation axis Ax1 is set to be orthogonal to the z-axis and the x-axis and parallel to the y-axis.
[0036] A pedal urging member (not shown) is provided in the pedal housing 61. The pedal 70 is urged in the accelerator closing direction by the pedal urging member. The pedal housing 61 has a stopper for limiting the rotation of the pedal 70 in the accelerator closing direction and a stopper for limiting the rotation of the pedal 70 in the accelerator opening direction. The pedal 70 can rotate within the range of contact with the two stoppers. Figure 1 The state in which the pedal 70 abuts against the stopper in the accelerator closing direction, that is, the accelerator is fully closed, is shown.
[0037] like Figure 1 , Figure 2 As shown, the reaction force applying device 10 includes an actuator 20, a power transmission unit 30, and a rod 40. The actuator 20 generates a driving force by energizing. The power transmission unit 30 includes a reduction gear 31, a reduction gear 32, and a shaft member 36 connected to the reduction gear 32 for reducing the driving force from the actuator 20. One end of the rod 40 is connected to the shaft member 36, and the driving force from the actuator 20 reduced by the reduction gear 31 and the reduction gear 32 is rotated, so that a reaction force to the pedaling force of the driver can be applied to the pedal 70. The reduction gear 32 and the rod 40 are fastened to both ends of the shaft member 36 by riveting.
[0038] More specifically, the reaction force applying device 10 includes an actuator housing 11. The actuator housing 11 is fixed to the wall surface 7 of the vehicle floor 2 of the vehicle 1 by, for example, mounting bolts (not shown), thereby being mounted to the vehicle floor 2.
[0039] The actuator 20 is, for example, an electric motor, and is housed in the actuator housing 11. The actuator 20 can output torque as a driving force by energizing. The ECU controls the energization of the actuator 20 and can control the operation of the actuator 20. A power transmission unit 30 is provided in the actuator housing 11. The power transmission unit 30 can decelerate the torque of the actuator 20 and output it from the shaft member 36. The shaft member 36 is provided on the rotation axis Ax2 and is supported by the actuator housing 11 in a manner that can rotate around the rotation axis Ax2.
[0040] The rod 40 includes a rod body 41, a rod end 42, a rod other end 43, etc. The rod body 41 is formed into a rod shape by metal, etc. The rod end 42 is connected to one end of the rod body 41 and is formed integrally with the rod body 41. The rod other end 43 is connected to the other end of the rod body 41 and is formed integrally with the rod body 41. The rod other end 43 is formed to form a substantially right angle with respect to the rod body 41. The rod other end 43 is arranged to be parallel to the y-axis.
[0041] The rod 40 is provided so that the rod one end 42 is connected to the shaft member 36. Thus, the rod 40 is rotatably supported by the actuator housing 11 so as to rotate around the rotation axis Ax2 together with the shaft member 36. The rod 40 rotates around the rotation axis Ax2 by the driving force from the actuator 20 output from the shaft member 36.
[0042] like Figure 1 As shown, the reaction force applying device 10 is provided so that the outer peripheral wall of the other end portion 43 of the rod can abut against the surface of the pedal 70 of the accelerator device 60 on the vehicle floor 2 side and can be separated from the surface of the pedal 70 on the vehicle floor 2 side. Thus, the reaction force applying device 10 can apply a reaction force F2 to the driver's stepping force F1 from the rod 40 rotated by the driving force from the actuator 20 to the pedal 70.
[0043] Hereinafter, the structure of the reaction force applying device 10 will be described in more detail.
[0044] The actuator housing 11 includes a first housing 12 and a second housing 13. The first housing 12 is formed of, for example, metal. The second housing 13 is formed of, for example, resin. The first housing 12 and the second housing 13 form a space capable of accommodating components and the like by making their openings abut against each other. The first housing 12 and the second housing 13 are connected by bolts 14.
[0045] The actuator 20 is provided on the first housing 12 side in the actuator housing 11. The actuator 20 has a shaft 21 and a pinion 22. The shaft 21 is provided so that one end is connected to a rotor (not shown) and can output the driving force of the actuator 20. The pinion 22 is provided at the other end of the shaft 21. The pinion 22 has external teeth on the outer peripheral wall.
[0046] The reduction gear 31 of the power transmission unit 30 is provided on the second housing 13 side in the actuator housing 11. The reduction gear 31 is formed of, for example, resin, and has a large diameter gear 311 and a small diameter gear 312. The large diameter gear 311 is formed in an annular shape and has external teeth on the outer peripheral wall. The small diameter gear 312 is formed to extend in a cylindrical shape from the inner edge of the large diameter gear 311. The outer diameter of the small diameter gear 312 is smaller than the outer diameter of the large diameter gear 311. External teeth are formed on the outer peripheral wall of the small diameter gear 312.
[0047] The first housing 12 is provided with a gear shaft 15. The gear shaft 15 is supported by the first housing 12 via a bearing 16 provided in the first housing 12 so as to be rotatable around its axis.
[0048] The reduction gear 31 is provided on the gear shaft 15 in such a manner that the external teeth of the large diameter gear 311 mesh with the external teeth of the pinion gear 22. The reduction gear 31 is pressed into the gear shaft 15 in such a manner that the inner peripheral wall of the small diameter gear 312 fits with the outer peripheral wall of the gear shaft 15. Thus, the reduction gear 31 is supported by the first housing 12 in such a manner that it can rotate around the axis in the actuator housing 11. When the actuator 20 rotates, the pinion gear 22 rotates, and the reduction gear 31 also rotates.
[0049] The reduction gear 32 has a gear fitting hole portion 34 into which one end of the shaft member 36 fits. The rod 40 has a rod fitting hole portion 44 into which the other end of the shaft member 36 fits. In a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the shapes of one end of the shaft member 36 and the gear fitting hole portion 34, and the shapes of the other end of the shaft member 36 and the rod fitting hole portion 44 are non-circular.
[0050] One end of the shaft member 36 and the gear fitting hole portion 34 , and the other end of the shaft member 36 and the rod fitting hole portion 44 have at least one flat surface at locations facing each other.
[0051] More specifically, the reduction gear 32 is provided between the first housing 12 and the second housing 13 in the actuator housing 11. The reduction gear 32 includes a gear body 33, a gear fitting hole 34 as a fitting hole, and the like. The gear body 33 is formed of, for example, metal in a substantially rectangular plate shape (see Figure 3 , Figure 5 ). External teeth 330 are formed at one end in the longitudinal direction of the gear body 33. The gear fitting hole 34 is formed at the end side of the gear body 33 opposite to the external teeth 330 so as to penetrate the gear body 33 in the plate thickness direction.
[0052] The shaft member 36 is formed of metal, for example, in a rod shape and is supported by the first housing 12 via a bearing 17 provided in the first housing 12 so as to be rotatable around its axis.
[0053] The reduction gear 32 is provided on the shaft member 36 in such a manner that the external teeth 330 mesh with the external teeth of the small-diameter gear 312 of the reduction gear 31. The reduction gear 32 is provided so as to be non-rotatable relative to the shaft member 36 in such a manner that the inner wall of the gear fitting hole portion 34 fits with the outer wall of one end of the shaft member 36. Thus, when the actuator 20 rotates, the reduction gear 31 rotates, the reduction gear 32 rotates, and the shaft member 36 also rotates.
[0054] The rod 40 has a rod fitting hole 44 as a fitting hole. The rod one end 42 is formed in a long plate shape. The rod fitting hole 44 is formed on the end side of the rod one end 42 opposite to the rod body 41 so as to penetrate the rod one end 42 in the plate thickness direction.
[0055] The rod 40 is provided so as to be non-rotatable relative to the shaft member 36 in such a manner that the inner wall of the rod fitting hole 44 is fitted with the outer wall of the other end of the shaft member 36. Thus, when the actuator 20 rotates, the reduction gear 31 rotates, the reduction gear 32 rotates, the shaft member 36 rotates, and the rod 40 also rotates. Therefore, the rod 40 rotates by the driving force of the actuator 20, and can apply a reaction force F2 to the pedal force F1 of the driver to the pedal 70.
[0056] In the present embodiment, a spring 18 is provided in the first housing 12 in the actuator housing 11. The spring 18 is, for example, a coil spring, and is provided radially outside the shaft member 36. The spring 18 urges the reduction gear 32 or the shaft member 36 so that the rod 40 rotates in a direction in which the other end portion 43 of the rod abuts against the pedal 70, for example.
[0057] The shaft member 36 has a main shaft portion 37 (see Figure 7 The main shaft portion 37 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape. A flat surface 371 and a flat surface 372 are formed at one end of the main shaft portion 37 (see Figure 4 , Figure 7 The plane 371 and the plane 372 are formed in parallel with each other across the axis of the main shaft portion 37. The gear fitting hole portion 34 is formed with a plane 341 and a plane 342 (see Figure 4 , Figure 7 The plane 341 and the plane 342 are formed in parallel with each other across the axis of the gear fitting hole 34. Thus, one end of the shaft member 36 and the gear fitting hole 34 have at least one plane at a location facing each other.
[0058] One end of the shaft member 36 is engaged with the gear engagement hole portion 34 so that the flat surface 371 faces the flat surface 341 and the flat surface 372 faces the flat surface 342 (see FIG. Figure 4 , Figure 7). Thus, the relative rotation between the shaft member 36 and the reduction gear 32 is restricted. Thus, in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the shape of one end of the shaft member 36 and the gear fitting hole 34 is non-circular.
[0059] The other end of the main shaft portion 37 is formed with a flat surface 373 and a flat surface 374 (see Figure 5 , Figure 6 The plane 373 and the plane 374 are formed in parallel with each other across the axis of the main shaft portion 37. The rod fitting hole portion 44 is formed with a plane 441 and a plane 442 (see Figure 6 The plane 441 and the plane 442 are formed in parallel with each other across the axis of the rod fitting hole 44. Thus, the other end of the shaft member 36 and the rod fitting hole 44 have at least one plane at a location facing each other.
[0060] The other end of the shaft member 36 is fitted into the rod fitting hole 44 so that the flat surface 373 faces the flat surface 441 and the flat surface 374 faces the flat surface 442 (see Figure 6 ). Thus, the relative rotation between the shaft member 36 and the rod 40 is restricted. Thus, in the cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the other end of the shaft member 36 and the rod fitting hole 44 have non-circular shapes.
[0061] Thus, the cross section of the fitting portion between the shaft member 36 and the reduction gear 32 or the rod 40 is non-circular. The fitting portion has at least one flat surface at a portion where the shaft member 36 and the reduction gear 32 or the rod 40 face each other.
[0062] At least one of the reduction gear 32 and the rod 40 includes a rotation restricting portion that can restrict the rotation of the reduction gear 32 or the rod 40 by coming into contact with a jig when a rotational force around the axis acts on the shaft member 36 .
[0063] More specifically, the reduction gear 32 includes a rotation restricting portion 351 and a rotation restricting portion 352. The rotation restricting portion 351 and the rotation restricting portion 352 are formed on the side surfaces on both sides of the plate surface direction at the end portions on the side of the external teeth 330 of the gear body 33 (see Figure 5 ). By making the jig 101 abut against the rotation restricting portions 351 and 352 , even if a rotational force around the axis acts on the shaft member 36 , the rotation of the reduction gear 32 can be restricted.
[0064] The rod 40 has a rotation restricting portion 451 and a rotation restricting portion 452. The rotation restricting portion 451 and the rotation restricting portion 452 are formed on the side surfaces of both sides of the plate surface direction of the rod one end portion 42 (see Figure 5 ). By making the jig 102 abut against the rotation restricting portions 451 and 452 , even if a rotational force around the axis acts on the shaft member 36 , the rotation of the rod 40 can be restricted.
[0065] The shaft member 36 has shaft member rotation restricting portions 38 at locations other than the two axial end portions. The shaft member rotation restricting portions 38 can restrict the rotation of the shaft member 36 by abutting against a jig when a rotational force around the axis acts on the shaft member 36 .
[0066] The shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 is formed in a D-cut shape.
[0067] More specifically, the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 is formed in a cylindrical shape so as to protrude radially outward from the outer peripheral wall between one end and the other end of the main shaft portion 37 on the side of the planes 371 and 372 relative to the planes 373 and 374 (see Figure 5 to Figure 7 A flat surface 381 is formed in a part of the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral wall of the shaft member rotation limiting portion 38. Thus, the shaft member rotation limiting portion 38 is formed into a D-shaped cut shape having a D-shaped outer shape when viewed from the axial direction (see Figure 6 ).
[0068] By fitting the jig hole 104 of the jig 103 having the jig hole 104 having a shape corresponding to the outer shape of the shaft member rotation limiting portion 38 with the shaft member rotation limiting portion 38, the rotation of the shaft member 36 can be limited even if a rotational force around the axis acts on the shaft member 36 (see Figure 5 ).
[0069] The shaft member 36 has a seat surface that abuts against the reduction gear 32 or the rod 40 in the axial direction. The reduction gear 32 or the rod 40 has a first plane that abuts against the seat surface and a second plane that is parallel to the first plane.
[0070] More specifically, the shaft member 36 has a seat surface 375 and a seat surface 376. The seat surface 375 is formed in a planar shape on the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 side of each of the plane 371 and the plane 372 so as to face the side opposite to the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 (see Figure 7 The seat surface 376 is formed in an annular and planar shape on the side of the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 opposite to the seat surface 375 so as to face the side opposite to the seat surface 375 (see Figure 6 , Figure 7 ).
[0071] The reduction gear 32 has a first flat surface 331 and a second flat surface 332. The first flat surface 331 is formed in an annular shape around the gear fitting hole 34 on one end surface of the gear body 33 so as to abut against the seat surface 375 (see Figure 7 The second plane 332 is formed in an annular shape around the gear fitting hole 34 on the other end surface of the gear body 33 in a manner parallel to the first plane 331 .
[0072] The rod 40 has a first flat surface 411 and a second flat surface 412. The first flat surface 411 is formed in an annular shape around the rod fitting hole 44 on one end surface of the rod one end portion 42 so as to abut against the seat surface 376 (see Figure 7 The second plane 412 is formed in a ring shape around the rod fitting hole 44 on the other end surface of the rod one end portion 42 in a manner parallel to the first plane 411 .
[0073] like Figure 3 As shown, the shaft member 36 has a rivet portion 377 and a rivet portion 378. The rivet portion 377 is formed by rivet processing to extend radially outward from one end of the main shaft portion 37. The rivet portion 377 holds the reduction gear 32 in a manner of sandwiching the gear body 33 between the rivet portion 377 and the seat surface 375. In this way, by fastening the reduction gear 32 to one end of the shaft member 36 by rivet, the reduction gear 32 can be restricted from falling off from the shaft member 36.
[0074] The rivet portion 378 is formed by rivet processing to extend radially outward from the other end of the main shaft portion 37. The rivet portion 378 holds the rod 40 in a manner of sandwiching the rod one end portion 42 between the seat surface 376. In this way, by rivet-fastening the rod 40 to the other end of the shaft member 36, the rod 40 can be restricted from falling off from the shaft member 36.
[0075] Next, the caulking and fastening of the reduction gear 32 to the shaft member 36 will be described.
[0076] exist Figure 7 , a state in which the rod 40 has been fastened to the shaft member 36 by riveting is shown.
[0077] First, the rod 40 and the shaft member 36 are arranged so that the rivet portion 378 is located in the recessed portion 111 formed in the table 110 and the second flat surface 412 of the rod 40 abuts against the upper surface 112 of the table 110. Next, the reduction gear 32 is arranged so that the gear fitting hole 34 fits with one end of the shaft member 36. Next, the reduction gear 32, the rod 40 or the shaft member 36 are held by the jig 101, the jig 102 or the jig 103 (see Figure 5 ).
[0078] Next, the punch 120 is brought into contact with one end of the shaft member 36 and rotated while pressing the punch 120 toward the stage 110. Thus, the caulking portion 377 is formed at one end of the shaft member 36, and the reduction gear 32 is caulked and fastened to the shaft member 36.
[0079] In the present embodiment, the shaft member 36 is pressed toward the table 110 side by the punch 120 in a state where the rivet portion 378 is located in the table recess 111 and the second plane 412 of the rod 40 is in contact with the upper surface 112 of the table 110. Therefore, the load of the punch 120 acts on the upper surface 112 of the table 110 via the seat surface 376, the first plane 411, and the second plane 412. Thus, it is possible to avoid the load of the punch 120 acting on the rivet portion 378. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the rivet portion 378 that has been formed from being deformed or damaged during the rivet processing by the punch 120.
[0080] In addition, when the rivet portion 377 is formed first and then the rivet portion 378 is formed by the punch 120, the reduction gear 32 and the shaft member 36 are arranged so that the rivet portion 377 is located in the table recess 111 and the second plane 332 of the reduction gear 32 abuts against the upper surface 112 of the table 110, and the punch 120 abuts against the other end of the shaft member 36, and the punch 120 is rotated while pressing toward the table 110. In this case, the load of the punch 120 acts on the upper surface 112 of the table 110 via the seat surface 375, the first plane 331, and the second plane 332. As a result, the load of the punch 120 can be prevented from acting on the rivet portion 377.
[0081] As described above, in the present embodiment, the power transmission unit 30 includes the reduction gear 31 and the reduction gear 32 for reducing the driving force from the actuator 20, and the shaft member 36 connected to the reduction gear 32. One end of the rod 40 is connected to the shaft member 36, and the rod 40 is rotated by the driving force from the actuator 20 reduced by the reduction gear 31 and the reduction gear 32, so that a reaction force to the pedal force of the driver can be applied to the pedal 70. The reduction gear 32 and the rod 40 are fastened to both ends of the shaft member 36 by riveting.
[0082] Therefore, the number of components of the reaction force applying device 10 can be reduced, and the structure can be simplified. In addition, the situation that the rod falls off from the shaft member due to loosening of the nut, which may occur in the reaction force applying device of Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent No. 6634436), can be suppressed.
[0083] In addition, in the present embodiment, the reduction gear 32 has a gear fitting hole portion 34 into which one end of the shaft member 36 is fitted. The rod 40 has a rod fitting hole portion 44 into which the other end of the shaft member 36 is fitted. In a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the shapes of one end of the shaft member 36 and the gear fitting hole portion 34, and the shapes of the other end of the shaft member 36 and the rod fitting hole portion 44 are non-circular.
[0084] Here, in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36 , the shapes of one end of the shaft member 36 and the gear fitting hole 34 and the shapes of the other end of the shaft member 36 and the rod fitting hole 44 are preferably non-circular.
[0085] In the present embodiment, one end of the shaft member 36 and the gear fitting hole portion 34 and the other end of the shaft member 36 and the rod fitting hole portion 44 have at least one flat surface at locations facing each other.
[0086] Therefore, the relative rotation between the reduction gear 32 and the shaft member 36 can be restricted by a simple structure. In addition, the relative rotation between the rod 40 and the shaft member 36 can be restricted by a simple structure.
[0087] In the present embodiment, at least one of the reduction gear 32 and the rod 40 includes a rotation restricting portion that can restrict the rotation of the reduction gear 32 or the rod 40 by abutting against a jig when a rotational force around the axis acts on the shaft member 36 .
[0088] Therefore, it is possible to suppress the member from rotating during the caulking process of the shaft member 36 , and thus improve the manufacturing efficiency.
[0089] In the present embodiment, the shaft member 36 has shaft member rotation restricting portions 38 at locations other than the two axial ends. The shaft member rotation restricting portions 38 can restrict the rotation of the shaft member 36 by abutting against a jig when a rotational force around the axis acts on the shaft member 36 .
[0090] The shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 is formed in a D-cut shape.
[0091] Therefore, the shaft member 36 and other members such as the reduction gear 32 and the rod 40 that are engaged with the shaft member 36 can be prevented from rotating during the caulking process of the shaft member 36, and the manufacturing efficiency can be improved. In addition, during the caulking process of the shaft member 36, the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 can restrict the rotation of the shaft member 36 itself, so that the load can be prevented from being applied to the engaging portion with other members engaged with the shaft member 36. As a result, the deterioration of the engaging state of the shaft member 36 with other members can be prevented.
[0092] In the present embodiment, the shaft member 36 has a seat surface that abuts in the axial direction against the reduction gear 32 or the rod 40. The reduction gear 32 or the rod 40 has a first plane that abuts against the seat surface and a second plane that is parallel to the first plane.
[0093] Therefore, it is possible to suppress the load from acting on the already formed caulking portion during the caulking process of the shaft member 36 , thereby suppressing deformation or damage of the caulking portion.
[0094] (Second Embodiment)
[0095] Figure 8 , Fig. 9 2 shows a reaction force applying device according to a second embodiment and an accelerator device to which the reaction force applying device is applied. The reaction force applying device 10 and the accelerator device 60 of the second embodiment are different in structure from those of the first embodiment.
[0096] In the present embodiment, the pedal housing 61 of the accelerator device 60 is fixed to the wall surface 7 of the vehicle floor 2 of the vehicle 1 by, for example, mounting bolts (not shown), thereby being mounted on the vehicle floor 2 .
[0097] The pedal 70 includes a pad 71, a pedal base 72, and a pedal connection portion 73. The pedal connection portion 73 is formed of, for example, metal, and connects the pad 71 and the pedal base 72 in a manner that one end is connected to the pad 71 and the other end is connected to the pedal base 72. The pedal base 72 is rotatably supported by the pedal housing 61 so as to rotate around the rotation axis Ax1. Thus, the pedal 70 can rotate around the rotation axis Ax1.
[0098] In the present embodiment, the accelerator device 60 further includes an arm 80. The arm 80 is formed by bending a member formed of, for example, a metal in a long plate shape at a predetermined position (see Fig. 9 The arm 80 is attached to the pedal 70 in such a manner that one end portion thereof is connected to the pedal base 72. Thus, the arm 80 can rotate around the rotation axis Ax1 together with the pedal 70.
[0099] In the present embodiment, the actuator housing 11 of the reaction force applying device 10 is fixed to a pedestal 9 provided on the wall surface 7 of the vehicle floor 2 of the vehicle 1 by, for example, mounting bolts (not shown), and is thereby mounted to the vehicle floor 2 via the pedestal 9 .
[0100] In the present embodiment, the reaction force applying device 10 has a rod body 41 of a rod 40 that is shorter in length than that of the first embodiment.
[0101] like Figure 8 As shown, the reaction force applying device 10 is provided so that the outer peripheral wall of the other end portion 43 of the rod can abut against the surface of the arm 80 of the accelerator device 60 on the side opposite to the vehicle floor 2 and can be separated from the surface of the arm 80 on the side opposite to the vehicle floor 2. Thus, the reaction force applying device 10 can apply the reaction force F2 to the driver's stepping force F1 to the pedal 70 via the arm 80 from the rod 40 rotated by the driving force from the actuator 20.
[0102] This embodiment is the same as the first embodiment except for the above-mentioned structure. Therefore, the same structure as the first embodiment can achieve the same function and effect as the first embodiment (the same applies hereinafter).
[0103] (Third Embodiment)
[0104] Fig.10 A part of the reaction force applying device of the third embodiment is shown in . The structures of the shaft member 36, the reduction gear 32, the rod 40, etc. of the third embodiment are different from those of the first embodiment.
[0105] In this embodiment, the main shaft portion 37 does not have the flat surface 371, the flat surface 372, the flat surface 373, and the flat surface 374 (see FIG. Figure 4 , Fig.10 In a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, one end of the main shaft portion 37 has an elliptical shape (see Fig.10 ) In addition, in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the shape of the other end of the main shaft portion 37 is an ellipse similar to the shape of the one end.
[0106] The gear fitting hole 34 does not have the flat surface 341 and the flat surface 342 shown in the first embodiment (see Figure 4 , Fig.10 ). In a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the gear fitting hole portion 34 has an elliptical shape (see Fig.10 ). The shape of the gear fitting hole portion 34 corresponds to the shape of one end of the main shaft portion 37.
[0107] One end of the shaft member 36 is fitted into the gear fitting hole portion 34 so that the outer peripheral wall of the one end of the shaft member 36 and the inner peripheral wall of the gear fitting hole portion 34 face each other (see Fig.10 ). Thus, the relative rotation between the shaft member 36 and the reduction gear 32 is restricted. Thus, in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the shape of one end of the shaft member 36 and the gear fitting hole 34 is not a perfect circle.
[0108] In this embodiment, the rod fitting hole 44 has no flat surface 441 or 442. The rod fitting hole 44 is elliptical in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36. The shape of the rod fitting hole 44 corresponds to the shape of the other end of the main shaft 37.
[0109] The other end of the shaft member 36 is fitted into the rod fitting hole portion 44 so that the outer peripheral wall of the other end of the shaft member 36 faces the inner peripheral wall of the rod fitting hole portion 44. As a result, the relative rotation of the shaft member 36 and the rod 40 is restricted. In this way, the other end of the shaft member 36 and the rod fitting hole portion 44 are non-circular in shape in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36.
[0110] (Fourth Embodiment)
[0111] Fig.11A part of the reaction force applying device of the fourth embodiment is shown in . The structures of the shaft member 36, the reduction gear 32, the rod 40 and the like of the fourth embodiment are different from those of the first embodiment.
[0112] In this embodiment, the main shaft portion 37 does not have the flat surface 372 and the flat surface 374 (see FIG. 1 ) shown in the first embodiment. Figure 4 , Fig.11 In a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, one end of the main shaft portion 37 is shaped like a D (see Fig.11 ) In addition, in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the shape of the other end of the main shaft portion 37 is the same as the shape of the one end, which is a D-shape.
[0113] The gear fitting hole 34 does not have the flat surface 342 shown in the first embodiment (see Figure 4 , Fig.11 In a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the gear fitting hole 34 has a D-shape (see Fig.11 ). The shape of the gear fitting hole portion 34 corresponds to the shape of one end of the main shaft portion 37.
[0114] One end of the shaft member 36 is engaged with the gear engagement hole 34 so that the flat surface 371 faces the flat surface 341 (see Fig.11 ). Thus, the relative rotation between the shaft member 36 and the reduction gear 32 is restricted. Thus, in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the shape of one end of the shaft member 36 and the gear fitting hole 34 is non-circular.
[0115] In this embodiment, the flat surface 442 is not formed in the rod fitting hole 44. The rod fitting hole 44 is D-shaped in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36. The shape of the rod fitting hole 44 corresponds to the shape of the other end of the main shaft 37.
[0116] The other end of the shaft member 36 is engaged with the rod engagement hole 44 so that the flat surface 373 faces the flat surface 441. Thus, the relative rotation of the shaft member 36 and the rod 40 is restricted. Thus, in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member 36, the other end of the shaft member 36 and the rod engagement hole 44 have a non-circular shape.
[0117] (Fifth Embodiment)
[0118] Fig.12 , Fig.13 2 shows a part of the reaction force applying device of the fifth embodiment. The structure of the shaft member 36, the reduction gear 32 and the like of the fifth embodiment are different from those of the first embodiment.
[0119] The reduction gear 32 has a gear fitting hole portion 34 as a fitting hole portion into which one end of the shaft member 36 is fitted. The gear fitting hole portion 34 has a main hole portion 343 and a hole recess 344 formed in a manner of being recessed radially outward from the main hole portion 343. The shaft member 36 has a main shaft portion 37 located inside the main hole portion 343 and a shaft protrusion 379 protruding radially outward from the main shaft portion 37 by plastic deformation and entering the hole recess 344.
[0120] More specifically, six hole recesses 344 are formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the main hole portion 343. In addition, six shaft protrusions 379 are formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the main shaft portion 37 so as to enter the hole recesses 344 (see Fig.13 ).
[0121] Next, the caulking and fastening of the reduction gear 32 to the shaft member 36 will be described.
[0122] First, one end of the main shaft portion 37 is inserted into the gear fitting hole portion 34 (see Fig.12 ). At this time, the relative position of the reduction gear 32 and the shaft member 36 in the rotation direction is adjusted. Next, by performing riveting processing on one end of the shaft member 36, the shaft member 36 is plastically deformed so that the shaft protrusion 379 protrudes radially outward from the main shaft portion 37 and enters the hole recess 344 (refer to Fig.13 ). Thus, the riveting and fastening of the reduction gear 32 to the shaft member 36 is completed.
[0123] In the present embodiment, since the shaft protrusion 379 is formed so as to enter the hole recess 344 , the relative rotation between the shaft member 36 and the reduction gear 32 can be reliably restricted.
[0124] As described above, in the present embodiment, the reduction gear 32 has the gear fitting hole portion 34 as a fitting hole portion into which one end of the shaft member 36 is fitted. The gear fitting hole portion 34 has the main hole portion 343 and the hole recess 344 formed in a manner recessed radially outward from the main hole portion 343. The shaft member 36 has the main shaft portion 37 located inside the main hole portion 343 and the shaft protrusion 379 protruding radially outward from the main shaft portion 37 by plastic deformation and entering the hole recess 344.
[0125] Therefore, the reduction gear 32 and the shaft member 36 can be caulked and fastened while adjusting the relative position of the reduction gear 32 and the shaft member 36 in the rotation direction. In addition, after the caulking and fastening, the relative rotation of the shaft member 36 and the reduction gear 32 can be reliably restricted.
[0126] (Sixth Embodiment)
[0127] Fig.142 shows a part of the reaction force applying device of the sixth embodiment. The structure of the shaft member 36 of the sixth embodiment is different from that of the first embodiment.
[0128] In the present embodiment, the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 is formed in a biplanar shape.
[0129] More specifically, the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 further includes a plane 382. The plane 382 is formed in parallel with the plane 381 with the axis of the shaft member 36 interposed therebetween. Thus, the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 is formed to have a double-plane shape when viewed from the axial direction (see FIG. Fig.14 ).
[0130] By fitting the jig hole of a jig having a shape corresponding to the outer shape of the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 into the shaft member rotation restricting portion 38 , the rotation of the shaft member 36 can be restricted even if a rotational force around the axis acts on the shaft member 36 .
[0131] (Other embodiments)
[0132] In the above-mentioned embodiment, an example is shown in which the shape of one end of the shaft member and the gear fitting hole portion, and the shape of the other end of the shaft member and the rod fitting hole portion, on a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member, are non-circular. In contrast, in other embodiments, it is also possible that: on a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member, the shape of one end of the shaft member and the gear fitting hole portion, or the shape of the other end of the shaft member and the rod fitting hole portion, is non-circular. In addition, it is also possible that: on a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the shaft member, the shape of one end of the shaft member and the gear fitting hole portion, and the shape of the other end of the shaft member and the rod fitting hole portion, are circular.
[0133] In other embodiments, the wall surface of the vehicle floor panel on which the reaction force applying device and the accelerator device are mounted may not be formed parallel to the yz plane. In other words, the wall surface of the vehicle floor panel may be formed at any angle relative to the vehicle.
