[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of tooling, and more particularly, to an assembling device and an assembling method for assembling a component such as an optical lens into a mounting hole thereof. Background Art

[0002] When assembling components that require embedded assembly (such as high-precision fragile parts such as optical lenses), for example, when assembling an optical lens into the coaxial mounting hole of a lens holder, several key challenges are encountered: (1) Strict accuracy requirements: To ensure the accuracy of the component, the gap between the edge of the component and the side wall of the mounting hole must be very small, even only a few microns, which requires very high installation accuracy; (2) Risk of fragility: The fragility of the component means that even slight pressure during the installation process may cause damage; (3) Depth control: In cases where multiple components need to be inserted into a single mounting hole, the required installation depth is often very large. Therefore, maintaining absolute precision throughout the installation process is critical to avoid component jamming.

[0003] Existing assembly solutions mainly include manual assembly, temperature difference assembly and lubrication assembly. However, these existing assembly solutions all have some defects. For example, manual assembly is difficult to achieve the required accuracy, has high error rate and damage rate, and low efficiency; temperature difference assembly requires precise temperature control, is complicated to operate, is not suitable for all materials, and has safety issues; lubrication assembly will cause lubricants to contaminate parts.

[0004] Therefore, in the art, there is an urgent need for a technical solution that can improve the assembly efficiency and accuracy of components while taking into account the safety of components during assembly. Summary of the invention

[0010] According to an optional embodiment of the present disclosure, the bottom of the counterweight block abuts against the upper surface of the buffer pad.

[0011] According to an optional embodiment of the present disclosure, the bottom of the counterweight block is inserted into the central hole of the buffer pad, and the buffer pad is formed with a step in the central hole for abutting against the bottom of the counterweight block.

[0012] According to an optional embodiment of the present disclosure, a portion of the buffer pad located around the counterweight block is tightly pressed against the counterweight block.

[0013] According to an optional embodiment of the present disclosure, the buffer pad has an inner wall for defining the central hole and an outer wall opposite to the inner wall, and the outer wall is conical and slopes toward the inner wall as it approaches the lower surface of the buffer pad.

[0030] Further features and advantages of the present disclosure will become more apparent from the following description with reference to the accompanying drawings. Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are shown in the accompanying drawings, and the various drawings are not necessarily drawn to actual scale. However, the present disclosure can be implemented in many different forms and should not be interpreted as necessarily being limited to the exemplary embodiments disclosed herein. On the contrary, these exemplary embodiments are merely provided to illustrate the present disclosure and to convey the spirit and essence of the present disclosure to those skilled in the art.

[0031] The present disclosure aims to propose an improved assembly device, which can assemble components (such as optical lenses) quickly and accurately into mounting holes that also have high precision due to its novel design, thereby significantly improving the assembly efficiency of components, and significantly reducing the damage rate and assembly error of components compared to manual assembly, significantly reducing the risk of component contamination compared to lubrication assembly, and significantly reducing the risk of component damage caused by stress caused by temperature difference compared to temperature difference assembly. Therefore, the assembly device according to the present disclosure can not only significantly improve the assembly efficiency and assembly precision of components, but also significantly reduce the risk of component damage during assembly, thereby taking into account the safety of components.

[0032] Various optional but non-limiting embodiments of the assembly device according to the present disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to the various drawings.

[0033] refer to Figure 1 , which shows a schematic perspective view of an assembly device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, and for the sake of clarity, Figure 1 Some of the components are shown in partial cutaway form. Figure 1 As shown, the assembly device 100 is used to assemble the component 200 (e.g., a high-precision fragile component such as an optical lens) into the mounting hole 310 of the bracket 300, and the mounting hole 310 extends along the axis XX' to the top 320 of the bracket 300, so as to form a top opening 311 on the top 320, and the component 200 can enter and exit the mounting hole 310 through the top opening 311. Figure 1In the illustrated embodiment, the mounting hole 310 also extends along the axis XX' to the bottom 330 of the bracket 300 so as to form a bottom opening 312 on the bottom 330, that is, the mounting hole 310 extends through the bracket 300 along the axis XX', and its two ends lead to the top 320 and the bottom 330 of the bracket 300 respectively. In particular, the mounting hole 310 has a reduced diameter at one end close to the bottom opening 312, so as to form a step 313 for supporting the component 200 in the mounting hole 310. In particular, in the case where the component 200 is an optical lens, light can enter the mounting hole 310 from the top opening 311 and leave the mounting hole 310 from the bottom opening 312 after passing through the optical lens 200, wherein the optical lens 200 processes the light as it passes through. However, in order to ensure the accuracy of the light processing, the optical axis of the optical lens 200 and the axis XX' of the mounting hole 310 need to be highly coincident, and for this reason, both the optical lens 200 and the mounting hole 310 need to be processed with high precision, and the diameters of the two are very close, even with a difference of only a few microns. Of course, when the component 200 is another component, in order to ensure the accuracy of the use effect, the diameter of the component 200 also needs to be very close to the diameter of the mounting hole 310, which obviously makes it difficult to assemble the component 200.

[0034] In order to smoothly and accurately assemble the component 200 into the mounting hole 310 of the bracket 300, as shown in FIG. Figure 1 As shown, the assembly device 100 includes a vibration platform 110 and a fixture 120 mounted on the vibration platform, wherein the vibration platform 110 is configured to vibrate in the horizontal direction (for example, vibrate in the horizontal direction with a frequency of more than 500 Hz and an amplitude of less than 0.5 mm), and the fixture 120 is configured to fix the bracket 300 on the vibration platform 110 so that the bracket 300 can vibrate in the horizontal direction together with the vibration platform 110, and the fixture 120 positions the bracket 300 so that the top opening 311 is open upward and the axis XX' is oriented along the vertical direction. In addition, the assembly device 100 further includes a buffer pad 130 and a counterweight 140, wherein the buffer pad 130 may be made of a buffer material such as foam, silicone, rubber, etc., and is configured to be placed on the component 200, and the counterweight 140 is generally cylindrical and is configured to be placed on the buffer pad 130, so that the counterweight 140 can apply downward pressure to the component 200 through the buffer pad 130 due to its own gravity, and the buffer pad 130 separates the counterweight 140 from the component 200. In addition, the buffer pad 130 and the counterweight 140 are suitable for entering the mounting hole 310 of the bracket 300 like the component 200. In other words, the buffer pad 130 and the counterweight 140 are suitable for entering the mounting hole 310 of the bracket 300 together with the component 200.

[0035] During the assembly of the component 200, first, the clamp 120 is mounted on the vibration platform 110, and the bracket 300 is fixed on the clamp 120 so that the axis XX' of the mounting hole 310 is oriented in the vertical direction and the top opening 311 is open upward; then, the component 200 is partially inserted into the top opening 311 so that a part of the component 200 is located in the mounting hole 310 and the other part is located outside the mounting hole 310 (in other words, the component 200 partially protrudes from the mounting hole 310), and the buffer pad 130 is placed on the component 200 and the counterweight 140 is placed on the buffer pad 130; then, the vibration platform 110 is started, and after the vibration platform 110 is started, the clamp 120 mounted on the vibration platform 110 and the bracket 300 fixed on the clamp 120 will be moved along with the vibration platform 110. The vibration platform 110 vibrates horizontally together, but the component 200 cannot vibrate synchronously with the bracket 300 due to its own inertia, which causes the edge of the component 200 to be unable to maintain contact with the side wall of the mounting hole 310, thereby reducing the friction between the edge of the component 200 and the side wall of the mounting hole 310, and this allows the component 200 to automatically move downward into the mounting hole 310 under the action of its own gravity and the pressure applied by the counterweight 140, and the buffer pad 130 and the counterweight 140 will move downward into the mounting hole 310 with the component 200, thereby continuously applying downward pressure to the component 200, so that the component 200 continues to move downward; finally, after the component 200 reaches the specified depth in the mounting hole 310, the vibration platform 110 is turned off, and the buffer pad 130 and the counterweight 140 are removed.

[0036] Therefore, under the above configuration, the assembly device 100 according to the present disclosure can smoothly and accurately assemble the component 200 at the specified depth in the mounting hole 310 of the bracket 300. In addition, since the buffer pad 130 can prevent the counterweight 140 from directly contacting the component 200 and buffer the pressure applied by the counterweight 140, the safety of the component 200 during assembly is also guaranteed. In summary, the assembly device 100 according to the present disclosure can assemble the component 200 with high efficiency and accuracy, while ensuring the safety of the component 200 during assembly.

[0037] In particular, if Figure 1As shown, the clamp 120 is generally annular in shape, and defines a central opening 121 on its inner side for receiving the bracket 300. In addition, the clamp 120 is provided with a plurality of smooth holes 122 extending through in the vertical direction and a plurality of threaded holes 123 extending from the outer side of the clamp 120 to the central opening 121 in the horizontal direction, wherein each smooth hole 122 can be passed through by a fastener (not shown) such as a screw, a bolt, a rivet, etc., so that the plurality of fasteners can mount the clamp 120 on the vibration platform 110, and each threaded hole 123 can be engaged with and passed through by a screw of a positioning bolt (not shown), so that the screw of the positioning bolt can enter the central opening 121 from the outer side of the clamp 120 through the threaded hole 123, and the length of the screw entering the central opening 121 can be adjusted by rotation. In this configuration, the bracket 300 can be placed in the central opening 121 of the clamp 120 first, and then each positioning bolt can be rotated so that the screw rod of each positioning bolt passes through the corresponding threaded hole 123 and abuts against the bracket 300 in the central opening 121, thereby the bracket 300 can be fixed in the central opening 121 by each positioning bolt. In addition, since the length of the screw rod of each positioning bolt entering the central opening 121 can be adjusted, the above configuration allows brackets 300 of different sizes and shapes to be fixed in the central opening 121, thereby improving the versatility of the assembly device 100.

[0038] refer to Figure 2 , which shows a schematic perspective view of an assembly device according to another embodiment of the present disclosure, and for the sake of clarity, Figure 2 Some of the components are also shown in partially cutaway form. Figure 2 The embodiment shown is Figure 1 The difference of the illustrated embodiment is that the assembly device 100 further includes a support pad 150, which can be made of a cushioning material such as foam, silicone, rubber, or a wear-resistant material such as nylon, and is configured to be placed in the central opening 121 of the clamp 120 and abut against the bottom 330 of the bracket 300. In this configuration, the support pad 150 can support the bracket 300 at its bottom 330, thereby preventing the bottom 330 of the bracket 300 from being undesirably worn when the bracket 300 vibrates horizontally together with the vibration platform 110, and preventing the undesirable vertical vibration from being transmitted to the bracket 300 through the bottom 330 of the bracket 300.

[0039] In addition, if Figure 2As shown, the support pad 150 can cover the bottom opening 312 of the bracket 300, thereby forming a condensed chamber 310c located between the component 200 and the support pad 150 in the mounting hole 310, and the air in the condensed chamber 310c can only be discharged through the gap between the edge of the component 200 and the side wall of the mounting hole 310 and the gap between the bottom 330 of the bracket 300 and the support pad 150. The above two gaps are very small, so the air pressure in the condensed chamber 310c will increase as the component 200 descends, thereby resisting the pressure applied by the counterweight 140, so the descending speed of the component 200 will decrease as it approaches the specified depth, which helps to more accurately position the component 200 at the specified depth. In particular, as shown in FIG. Figure 2 As shown, after the component 200 is positioned at the specified depth and another component 400 (e.g., another high-precision fragile component such as an optical lens) is assembled in the same assembly manner, the air pressure in the backlog chamber 310c helps to prevent the component 200 from moving downward from the specified depth under the action of its own gravity and the air pressure between the components 200 and 400 when the bracket 300 vibrates horizontally. In other words, the air pressure in the backlog chamber 310c also helps to keep the assembled component 200 at its specified depth.

[0040] It should be pointed out that the above-mentioned assembly method is merely exemplary. During the assembly of components 200 and 400, the support pad 150 may also be placed in the central opening 121 of the clamp 120 and against the bottom 330 of the bracket 300 after the assembly of component 200 and before the assembly of another component 400. That is to say, during the assembly of component 200, the support pad 150 is not placed in the central opening 121 of the clamp 120, and therefore the above-mentioned backlog chamber 310c is not established. Therefore, the pressure exerted on component 200 by the counterweight 140 will not be resisted by the air pressure, which enables component 200 to quickly reach the specified depth. During the assembly of another component 400, the above-mentioned backlog chamber 310c is established by the support pad 150, so that the air pressure in the backlog chamber 310c is used to keep component 200 at the specified depth to prevent component 200 from leaving its specified depth during the assembly of another component 400.

[0041] In particular, if Figure 1 and Figure 2As shown, the buffer pad 130 has a lower surface 131 for abutting against the component 200 and an upper surface 132 opposite to the lower surface 131 and for abutting against the counterweight 140, and is provided with a central hole 133 extending from the lower surface 131 to the upper surface 132, so that the buffer pad 130 is generally annular. Under this configuration, the central hole 133 greatly reduces the contact area between the buffer pad 130 and the component 200, so that the buffer pad 130 only contacts the component 200 along the edge thereof, thereby more reliably preventing the component 200 from being contaminated or damaged, especially when the component 200 is an optical lens, the optical lens mainly uses its central part to process light, and the above configuration can prevent the central part of the optical lens from being contaminated or damaged.

[0042] refer to Figure 3 , which shows a schematic stereoscopic view of a counterweight block and a buffer pad of an assembly device according to another embodiment of the present disclosure, and for the sake of clarity, Figure 3 The individual components are shown in partially cutaway form. Figure 3 The embodiment shown is Figure 1 and Figure 2 The main difference of the illustrated embodiment is that the bottom of the counterweight 140 is inserted into the center hole 133 of the buffer pad 130, and the buffer pad 130 is formed with a step 134 in the center hole 133 for abutting against the bottom of the counterweight 140, so that a portion of the buffer pad 130 (specifically, the portion above the step 134) surrounds the counterweight 140 and particularly clamps the counterweight 140 in the radial direction, that is, the portion of the buffer pad 130 around the counterweight 140 can be tightly pressed against the counterweight 140, for example, the counterweight 140 can cause the portion of the buffer pad 130 around the counterweight 140 to undergo elastic deformation when the counterweight 140 is inserted into the center hole 133, and the restoring force of this portion can generate a friction force that holds the buffer pad 130 and the counterweight 140 together. In this configuration, the buffer pad 130 can be connected to the counterweight 140, so that the buffer pad 130 can be removed from the mounting hole 310 together with the counterweight 140 after the component 200 is assembled, thereby simplifying the post-assembly operation, and because a portion of the buffer pad 130 is located at the periphery of the counterweight 140, the buffer pad 130 can not only prevent the counterweight 140 from contacting the component 200 but also prevent the counterweight 140 from contacting the side wall of the mounting hole 310, thereby preventing the counterweight 140 from hitting or even damaging the side wall of the mounting hole 310 during the horizontal vibration of the bracket 300.

[0043] In particular, if Figure 3As shown, the cushion pad 130 has an inner side wall 135 for defining the central hole 133 and an outer side wall 136 which is opposite to the inner side wall 135 and is intended to face the side wall of the mounting hole 310, and the cushion pad 130 is configured such that the outer side wall 136 is tapered, more specifically, inclined toward the inner side wall 135 as it approaches the lower surface 131 of the cushion pad 130. Under this configuration, the tapered outer side wall 136 of the cushion pad 130 can guide the cushion pad 130 and the counterweight 140 to enter the mounting hole 310, so as to avoid the situation where the cushion pad 130 and the counterweight 140 fail to enter the mounting hole 310 together with the component 200, thereby further ensuring the smooth assembly of the component 200.

[0044] In particular, if Figure 3 As shown, the assembly device 100 further includes a buffer washer 160, which can be made of a buffer material such as foam, silicone, rubber, etc., and is configured to be sleeved on the side wall 141 of the counterweight 140, so that the buffer washer 160 can surround or encircle the counterweight 140 at the periphery of the counterweight 140. In particular, the counterweight 140 is provided with an annular groove 142 recessed from the side wall 141 thereof and extending along the circumferential direction (i.e., the direction around the axis XX'), wherein a portion of the buffer washer 160 is received in the annular groove 142, while the other portion protrudes from the annular groove 142, that is, the outer diameter of the buffer washer 160 is greater than the diameter of the counterweight 140. In this configuration, the buffer washer 160 can prevent the side wall 141 of the counterweight 140 from contacting the side wall of the mounting hole 310, and the annular groove 142 of the counterweight 140 can reliably maintain the position of the buffer washer 160 to prevent the buffer washer 160 from being deformed or displaced due to the friction of the side wall of the mounting hole 310. In particular, if the buffer washer 160 is used together with the above-mentioned buffer pad 130, the counterweight 140 can be completely prevented from contacting the side wall of the mounting hole 310. In particular, the buffer pad 130 and the buffer washer 160 can have substantially the same outer diameter. In this configuration, when the counterweight 140 is located in the mounting hole 310, the buffer pad 130 and the buffer washer 160 can orient the counterweight 140 in the vertical direction to ensure that the counterweight 140 applies a vertical downward pressure to the component 200, thereby further ensuring the smooth assembly of the component 200.

[0045] In addition to the assembly device described above, the present disclosure also aims to provide an improved assembly method, which is implemented using the assembly device proposed in the present disclosure. Figure 4 , which shows a schematic flow chart of an assembly method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 4 As shown, the assembly method includes the following steps:

[0046] S100: Installing the fixture 120 on the vibration platform 110;

[0047] S200: Fix the bracket 300 on the fixture 120 so that the axis XX' of the mounting hole 310 is oriented along the vertical direction and the top opening 311 is open upward;

[0048] S300 : inserting a portion of the component 200 into the top opening 311 , placing the cushion pad 130 on the component 200 , and placing the weight 140 on the cushion pad 130 ;

[0049] S400: starting the vibration platform 110 so that the buffer pad 130 and the counterweight block 140 enter the mounting hole 310 along with the component 200 under the action of gravity; and

[0050] S500 : After the component 200 reaches a specified depth in the mounting hole 310 , the vibration platform 110 is turned off, the buffer pad 130 and the counterweight 140 are removed from the mounting hole 310 , and the bracket 300 is removed from the fixture 120 .

[0051] In particular, the assembly method may further include the following steps between steps S100 and S200:

[0052] The support pad 150 is placed in the central opening 121 of the jig 120 , and the bracket 300 is inserted into the central opening 121 of the jig 120 , such that the support pad 150 abuts against the bottom 330 of the bracket 300 and covers the bottom opening 312 of the bracket 300 .

[0053] Under the above configuration, before the component 200 is assembled, the bottom opening 312 of the bracket 300 is covered with the support pad 150, so that the above-mentioned backlog chamber 310c can be established during the assembly of the component 200, so that the descending speed of the component 200 is reduced as it approaches the specified depth through the air pressure in the backlog chamber 310c, thereby enabling the component 200 to be positioned at the specified depth more accurately.

[0054] In particular, the assembly method may further include the following steps after step S500:

[0055] placing the support pad 150 in the central opening 121 of the jig 120 and inserting the bracket 300 into the central opening 121 of the jig 120 so that the support pad 150 abuts against the bottom 330 of the bracket 300 and covers the bottom opening 312 of the bracket 300; and

[0056] Steps S200 - S500 are repeated to assemble another component 400 into the mounting hole 310 of the bracket 300 .
