[0010] Patent Document 1: International Publication No. 2019 / 138954 Summary of the invention

[0011] Problems to be solved by the invention

[0012] In addition, in a vehicle seat including a side airbag device such as that disclosed in Patent Document 1, it is required to restrain a seated occupant more quickly and efficiently by causing the airbag to expand and deploy in a more stable state.

[0013] Specifically, in a vehicle seat including a side airbag device having a first airbag that expands and deploys on the outer side of a side portion of a seat back and a second airbag that expands and deploys on the inner side of the side portion, it is particularly required to expand and deploy the second airbag in a more stable state.

[0014] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat including a side airbag device, in which the airbag can be inflated and deployed in a more stable state.

[0015] Technical means of solving problems

[0016] The problem is solved by the following method: a seat for a vehicle, comprising: a seat back, which becomes a backrest; and a side airbag device, which is installed on the side portion of the seat back in the seat width direction, and is used to mitigate the impact applied from the side of the vehicle, the seat back comprises: a back frame, including side frames arranged on the left and right sides in the seat width direction; and a side support member, which is installed on the front portion of the seat of the side frame and protrudes toward the front side of the seat of the side frame, and is used to make the side portion of the seat back protrude toward the front side of the seat, and the side support member extends in a long strip along the side frame in the up and down direction, and is located in front and behind the seat The side airbag device is configured to form a gap with the side frame in the direction, the side airbag device includes an airbag module, the airbag module is installed on any one of the outer side and the inner side of the side frame, the airbag module includes: a first airbag, which is expanded and deployed on the side of one of the side surfaces of the side frame; a second airbag, which is expanded and deployed on the other side surface of the side frame; and an inflator, which supplies gas to the interior of the first airbag and the second airbag, and the second airbag is expanded and deployed on the other side surface of the side frame through the gap formed between the side frame and the side support member in the seat front-rear direction.

[0017] According to the above structure, it is possible to realize a vehicle seat in which the airbag can be inflated and deployed in a more stable state.

[0018] Specifically, by further including the side support member, the second airbag can be expanded and deployed on the other side of the side frame through a gap formed between the side frame and the side support member in the seat front-rear direction. As a result, the second airbag can be expanded and deployed in a more stable state. As a result, the seated passenger can be restrained quickly and efficiently.

[0019] At this time, the side support members can be respectively installed on the upper part of the side frame and the lower part of the side frame, and can be linear members extending in the up and down directions. The airbag module is installed on the outer side surface of the side frame, and the first airbag bulges and deploys toward the front of the seat on the outer side surface of the side frame, and the second airbag bulges and deploys toward the inside in the seat width direction on the inner side surface of the side frame through the gap formed between the side frame and the linear member.

[0020] According to the above structure, the second airbag can be expanded and deployed in a stable state toward the inner side of the side frame in the seat width direction. As a result, the seated passenger can be restrained more quickly and efficiently.

[0021] In this case, the seat back may include a protection member that is attached to a side surface of the side frame and covers the side frame, and the protection member may be arranged to cover at least a front end portion of the side frame and a rear end portion of the side frame.

[0022] Moreover, the side frame may include: a frame body portion extending along the front-rear direction of the seat; a front flange portion continuous from the front end portion of the frame body portion and protruding inwardly in the seat width direction; and a rear flange portion continuous from the rear end portion of the frame body portion and protruding inwardly in the seat width direction, and the protective component is a flexible protective plate, and the protective plate includes: a plate body portion covering the inner side surface of the frame body portion; a plate front portion continuous from the front end portion of the plate body portion and folded back to cover the front flange portion; and a plate rear portion continuous from the rear end portion of the plate body portion and folded back to cover the rear flange portion.

[0023] Furthermore, the back frame may include an upper frame connecting upper ends of the left and right side frames, and the seat back may include a second protection member covering a portion of the upper frame connected to the upper ends of the side frames.

[0024] As described above, by including the protection member that protects the side frame (particularly the end of the side frame), the inflated and deployed second airbag can be prevented from accidentally contacting the side frame (the end of the side frame). As a result, the second airbag can be inflated and deployed stably.

[0025] At this time, the seat back may include: a cushion material, which is arranged on the front surface of the back frame; a surface material, which covers the back frame and the cushion material; and a movable body, which is provided on the side of the seat back and is arranged between the side frame and the cushion material in the front-rear direction of the seat, and is movable in the side portion in order to make the cushion material protrude toward the front side of the seat. The movable body is movable toward the front side of the seat as the second airbag expands and deploys, so that the cushion material protrudes toward the front side of the seat.

[0026] Furthermore, the movable body may include a rotating member that is rotatably mounted relative to the side support member and rotates toward the front of the seat as the second airbag is expanded and deployed, thereby causing the cushion material to protrude toward the front of the seat.

[0027] Moreover, the rotating component may include: a rotating body portion, which is installed in a manner that it can rotate relative to the side support component and extends from the side support component along the bottom surface of the cushion material toward the rear of the seat; and a protrusion, which protrudes from the front surface of the rotating body portion toward the cushion material and abuts against the cushion material.

[0028] As described above, by including a movable body (rotating body) that moves toward the front side of the seat as the second airbag expands and expands, the expansion force of the second airbag can be efficiently transmitted to the mat material. As a result, the seated occupant can be restrained more quickly and efficiently.

[0029] At this time, the side airbag device may also include a guide member, which guides the expansion and deployment of the second airbag, one end of the guide member is mounted on the side frame or a mounting bracket mounted on the side frame, and the other end of the guide member is mounted on the movable body.

[0030] Moreover, the side airbag device may also include a guide member, which guides the expansion and deployment of the second airbag, one end of the guide member is mounted on a mounting bracket mounted on the side of the side frame, and the other end of the guide member is mounted on the second airbag, and the mounting bracket is fastened to the side frame through an assembly axis, and the assembly axis is set on the inflator and protrudes from the inflator in the seat width direction.

[0031] Furthermore, the mounting bracket may be disposed on the inner side of the side frame in the seat width direction and include a slit for inserting one end portion of the guide member for mounting.

[0032] As described above, by including the guide member, it is possible to prevent the expanded and deployed second airbag from sneaking into the rear of the seat of the side frame.

[0033] Furthermore, as described above, by including the mounting bracket, the guide member can be stably mounted.

[0034] Furthermore, since the mounting bracket is fastened together with the side frame via the assembly shaft that protrudes from the inflator in the seat width direction, the airbag module and the guide member can be mounted stably.

[0035] Furthermore, the mounting bracket includes the slit, so the one end portion of the guide member can be easily mounted.

[0036] At this time, the seat back may include: a cushion material, which is arranged on the front surface of the back frame; and a surface material, which covers the back frame and the cushion material. The side airbag device includes a retainer component that holds the airbag module from the rear side of the seat, and the retainer component includes: a rear wall portion, which is arranged on the rear side of the seat of the airbag module; and a side wall portion, which is continuous from one end of the rear wall portion in the seat width direction and extends along the side of the airbag module toward the front side of the seat. The side wall portion is provided on the surface material and extends toward the front side of the seat to a cracked surface portion that is cracked when the first airbag is expanded and deployed, or to a position near the cracked surface portion.

[0037] Moreover, the side airbag device may include a retainer component that holds the airbag module from the rear side of the seat, and the retainer component includes: a rear wall portion, which is arranged on the rear side of the seat of the airbag module; a side wall portion, which is arranged along the other side of the side frame; and a reinforcement portion, which is installed on the rear surface of the rear wall portion and protrudes toward the rear of the seat, and the side wall portion is fastened to the side frame through an assembly axis, and the assembly axis is set on the inflator, and protrudes from the inflator in the seat width direction.

[0038] As described above, by including the retainer member, the retainer member can appropriately receive the pressure associated with the inflation and deployment of the airbag. As a result, the inflation and deployment directions of the first airbag and the second airbag can be stabilized.

[0039] Furthermore, the retainer member extends toward the front side of the seat to the surface crack portion that is cracked when the first airbag is expanded and deployed or to a position near the surface crack portion. Therefore, the pressure received by the retainer member can be efficiently transmitted to the surface crack portion, thereby cracking the surface crack portion.

[0040] Furthermore, the retainer member is fastened together with the side frame via the assembly shaft that protrudes from the inflator in the seat width direction, so the retainer member can be stably attached.

[0041] At this time, the side airbag device may include a retainer component that holds the airbag module from the side side of the seat, and the retainer component includes: a side wall portion, arranged along the side of the side frame; a front wall portion, continuous from the front end portion of the side wall portion, protruding in the seat width direction, and arranged on the seat rear side of the second airbag when the second airbag is expanded and deployed; and a reinforcement portion, installed on the rear surface of the front wall portion, protruding to the rear of the seat, the side wall portion is fastened to the side frame through an assembly axis, and the assembly axis is provided on the inflator, protruding from the inflator in the seat width direction.

[0042] As described above, by including the retainer member, the retainer member can appropriately receive the pressure associated with the inflation and deployment of the second airbag. As a result, the inflation and deployment direction of the second airbag can be stabilized.

[0043] Furthermore, since the holder member includes the reinforcement portion, the holding force of the holder member can be efficiently improved.

[0044] At this time, the seat back may include: a cushion material, which is arranged on the front surface of the back frame; and a surface material, which covers the back frame and the cushion material, the cushion material including a cushion through-hole, which is formed in the side portion of the seat back at a position in front of the airbag module, and penetrates from the outer side surface of the cushion material to the inner side surface, the surface material including a surface cracking portion, which cracks in the outer side surface of the side portion when the first airbag is expanded and deployed, and the side airbag device includes a guide member, which guides the expansion and deployment of the first airbag, in which one end of the guide member is installed on the front part or the outer part of the surface material in the side portion, and continuously extends from one end of the guide member, through the cushion through-hole formed on the outer side surface of the cushion material in the side portion, and the other end of the guide member passes through the cushion through-hole formed on the inner side surface of the cushion material in the side portion, and is installed on the inner part of the surface material in the side portion.

[0045] According to the above structure, the guide member can appropriately guide the cushion material in the side portion of the seat back that moves along with the inflation and deployment of the airbag. As a result, the airbag can be inflated and deployed more quickly.

[0180] like Figure 2 As shown, the seat cushion frame 10 mainly includes: a seat cushion side frame 11, including a rectangular frame body, arranged on the left and right sides; a plate-shaped disc frame 12 (mounting frame), mounted on the front end portion of each seat cushion side frame 11; a rear connecting frame 13, connecting the rear portions of each seat cushion side frame 11; and a plurality of supporting members 14 (springs), suspended from the disc frame 12 and the rear connecting frame 13, and extending along the front and rear direction of the seat.

[0181] The seat cushion side frame 11 is a plate-shaped frame that is long in the seat front-rear direction.

[0182] Furthermore, a reclining device 4 is mounted on a rear portion of the seat cushion side frame 11 , and a rail device 6 is mounted on a lower portion of the seat cushion side frame 11 via a height link device 5 .

[0183] like Figure 2As shown, the back frame 20 mainly includes: side frames 21, including rectangular frame-shaped bodies, arranged on the left and right sides; an upper frame 22 in an inverted U shape, connecting the upper end portions of each side frame 21; a plate-shaped lower frame 23, connecting the lower end portions of each side frame 21; a plurality of wire members 24 (elastic wires), respectively suspended from each side frame 21, extending along the width direction of the seat; and a support plate 25, which is held by the plurality of wire members 24 to support the seated person.

[0184] Furthermore, the back frame 20 further includes a pillar mounting member 26 mounted to a central portion of the upper frame 22 in the seat width direction and for mounting the pillar 3 c of the headrest 3 .

[0185] The side frame 21 is a metal plate member extending in the up-down direction and having a substantially C-shaped cross section, and a lower end portion thereof is connected to a rear end portion of the seat cushion side frame 11 via the reclining device 4 .

[0186] The back frame 20 is relatively rotatable with respect to the seat cushion frame 10 through the reclining device 4 .

[0187] Specifically, if Figure 2 , Figure 4A As shown, the side frame 21 includes a frame body portion 21a extending along the front-rear direction of the seat, a front flange portion 21b that is continuous from the front end portion of the frame body portion 21a and protrudes inwardly in the seat width direction, and a rear flange portion 21c that is continuous from the rear end portion of the frame body portion 21a and protrudes inwardly in the seat width direction.

[0188] Moreover, if Figure 4A , Figure 4B As shown, a protection member 27 is attached to the inner side surface of the side frame 21 so as to cover the side frame 21 from the inner side in the seat width direction.

[0189] Moreover, if Figure 5 As shown, a second protection member 28 is attached to a lower end portion of the upper frame 22 connected to the upper end portion of the side frame 21 so as to cover the lower end portion from below.

[0190] The protection member 27 has flexibility and is a protection plate that protects the side frame 21 .

[0191] like Figure 4A , Figure 4B As shown, the protective member 27 includes: a plate main body portion 27a, which covers the inner side surface of the frame main body portion 21a; a plate front portion 27b, which is continuous from the front end portion of the plate main body portion 27a and is folded back to cover the front flange portion 21b; and a plate rear portion 27c, which is continuous from the rear end portion of the plate main body portion 27a and is folded back to cover the rear flange portion 21c.

[0192] The second protection member 28 has flexibility, is a protection cover for protecting the upper frame 22 , and is attached to the lower end portion of the tubular upper frame 22 .

[0193] The protection member 27 and the second protection member 28 have a function of preventing the airbag of the side airbag device 40 from directly contacting the back frame 20 when the airbag is expanded and deployed.

[0194] like Figure 5 As shown, the protection member 27 is attached along the side frame 21 so as to be elongated in the vertical direction.

[0195] Furthermore, the protection member 27 is disposed at a position overlapping (specifically, at the same position as) the side airbag device 40 in the up-down direction and the seat front-rear direction.

[0196] like Figure 2 , Figure 3A , Figure 3B As shown, the side support member 30 is a linear member (specifically, a wire member) made of a metal material, and is attached to the seat front portion of the left and right side frames 21 by welding.

[0197] The side support member 30 is attached to the front surface of the side frame 21 , protrudes toward the seat front side of the side frame 21 , and is a member for causing the side portion 2B of the seat back 2 to protrude toward the seat front side.

[0198] Although described in detail below, the side support member 30 has a function of holding the side portion of the seat back 2 protruding toward the front side of the seat and a function of causing the airbag of the side airbag device 40 to expand and deploy in a stable state.

[0199] Specifically, the side support member 30 mainly includes a wire main body portion 31 extending in an elongated direction along the longitudinal direction of the side frame 21 , and a wire extension portion 32 extending rearward from an upper end portion of the wire main body portion 31 .

[0200] The wire extension portion 32 is welded and fixed in contact with the front surface of the upper portion of the side frame 21 , and the lower end portion of the wire main body portion 31 is welded and fixed in contact with the front surface of the lower portion of the side frame 21 .

[0201] In the structure, if Figure 2 , Figure 3A As shown, the side support member 30 extends in a long strip in the vertical direction along the side frame 21 , and is arranged to form a gap G between the side frame 21 and the side frame 21 in the seat front-rear direction.

[0202] Furthermore, the side support member 30 is disposed at a position overlapping (specifically, at the same position as) the side airbag device 40 in the up-down direction and the seat front-rear direction.

[0203] like Figure 1 to Figure 3A , Figure 3B As shown, the side airbag device 40 is structured such that when an impact is applied from the side of the vehicle body, the airbags 42 and 43 in a folded state expand and deploy in a balloon-like manner toward the front side of the seat.

[0204] like Figure 4A , Figure 4B As shown, the side airbag device 40 is provided inside the cushion material 2 a in the side portion 2B of the seat back 2 , and includes an airbag module 41 mounted on the outer side surface of the side frame 21 .

[0205] The airbag module 41 mainly includes: a first airbag 42, which is expanded and deployed on the outer side of the side frame 21; a second airbag 43, which is expanded and deployed on the inner side of the side frame 21; an inflator 44, which supplies gas to the inside of the first airbag 42 and the second airbag 43; and a wiring harness (not shown), which is connected to the inflator 44 and supplies ignition power to the inflator 44.

[0206] In addition, the wire harness is connected to a vehicle battery (not shown) disposed on the vehicle body.

[0207] like Figure 4A , Figure 4B As shown, the first airbag 42 expands and deploys toward the front of the seat on the outer side of the side frame 21 .

[0208] The second airbag passes through the gap G formed between the side frame 21 and the side support member 30 , and expands and deploys on the inner side surface of the side frame 21 toward the front of the seat and inward in the seat width direction.

[0209] Specifically, the airbags 42 and 43 are expanded and deployed by supplying gas from an inflator 44 serving as a gas generation source into the interior of the airbags 42 and 43 .

[0210] The inflator 44 is a gas generating device in a long, substantially cylindrical shape, and is arranged so as to be long in the up-and-down direction.

[0211] The inflator 44 includes a plurality of assembly shafts 44 a that protrude from an outer surface thereof toward the inner side in the seat width direction and are assembled to the side frame 21 .

[0212] Furthermore, the inflator 44 further includes an airbag connecting portion (not shown) protruding from the outer surface thereof and connected to the inside of the airbag 11 , and a harness connecting portion (not shown) formed on the outer surface of the inflator 44 and connected to the harness.

[0213] The plurality of assembly shafts 44 a are arranged at intervals in the up-down direction, are respectively passed through assembly holes provided in the side frame 21 and assembly holes provided in the protection member 27 , and are fastened to the assembly nuts 44 b .

[0214] In other words, the assembly shaft 44 a and the assembly nut 44 b are fastened together with the side frame 21 and the protection member 27 .

[0215] In the structure, if Figure 4A , Figure 4B As shown, when the airbags 42 and 43 are inflated and deployed, the cushion material 2a is divided into the inner cushion 2ab and the outer cushion 2ac with the cushion through-hole 2aa as a branch point and deployed.

[0216] When the airbags 42 and 43 are inflated and deployed, the skin material 2b is divided into the inner skin material 2bb and the outer skin material 2bc with the skin crack portion 2ba as a branch point, and deployed.

[0217] The pad through-hole 2aa is a through-hole that penetrates the pad material 2a in the seat front-rear direction, and is formed to be elongated in the up-down direction.

[0218] The skin crack portion 2ba is also formed in a strip-like shape along the vertical direction.

[0219] The pad through-hole 2aa and the surface crack portion 2ba are formed at a seat front position of the airbag module 41 and are arranged at a position overlapping (specifically, at the same position as) the airbag module 41 in the seat width direction.

[0220] Therefore, the airbag can be inflated and deployed in a more stable state.

[0221] Furthermore, in the structure, if Figure 4A , Figure 4B As shown, the second airbag 43 is structured to expand and deploy on the inner side surface of the side frame 21 through a gap G formed between the side frame 21 and the side support member 30 in the seat front-rear direction.

[0222] Therefore, the second airbag 43 can be expanded and deployed toward the front of the seat and toward the inner side in the seat width direction in a more stable state.

[0223] That is, by using the side support member 30 as a guide member, it is possible to suppress, for example, the second airbag 43 from being accidentally deployed toward the front side of the seat.

[0224] Furthermore, in the structure, if Figure 4A , Figure 4B , Figure 5 As shown, the protection member 27 and the second protection member 28 are installed so as to cover the side frame 21 and the upper frame 22 respectively.

[0225] In particular, the plate front portion 27b of the protection member 27 is provided so as to not only cover the head end of the side frame 21 (front flange portion 21b) by folding it back, but also cover the entire (substantially entire) front surface of the front flange portion 21b.

[0226] And, the plate rear portion 27c is also covered by folding back the head end of the side frame 21 (rear flange 21c). In addition, the rear surface of the side frame 21 does not need to be covered in its entirety, so it is covered around the head end of the rear flange 21c.

[0227] Therefore, it is possible to appropriately suppress the inflated and deployed second airbag 43 from accidentally coming into contact with the end portion of the side frame 21 .

[0228] <<Other>>

[0229] In the embodiment described, Figure 1 , Figure 2 As shown, the side support member 30 and the side airbag device 40 are mounted on the side portion 2B of the seat back 2 , but are not particularly limited and may be mounted on the side portion 1B of the seat cushion 1 .

[0230] In the embodiment described, Figure 2 As shown, the side support member 30 is a wire member formed of a metal material, but is not particularly limited and may be modified.

[0231] The side support member 30 may be configured to hold the seated person from the side in the seat width direction, and may be, for example, a plate-shaped member, a rod-shaped member, a movable plate, an inflatable bag member, or the like.

[0232] In the embodiment described, Figure 4A , Figure 5 As shown, the protection member 27 is configured as a protection plate, but is not particularly limited and may be modified.

[0233] For example, the protection member 27 may be divided into a member covering the front end portion of the side frame 21 and a member covering the rear end portion of the side frame 21 and may be included in plurality.

[0234] In the embodiment described, Figure 4A , Figure 4B As shown, the side airbag device 40 (airbag module 41 ) is mounted on the outer side surface of the side frame 21 , but is not particularly limited thereto and may be mounted on the inner side surface of the side frame 21 .

[0235] In this case, the first airbag 42 may be expanded and deployed on the inner side of the side frame, and the second airbag 43 may be expanded and deployed on the outer side of the side frame 21 through the gap G formed between the side frame 21 and the side support member 30 .

[0236] <Second embodiment>

[0237] Secondly, based on Figure 6 to Figure 9 A vehicle seat S2 according to the second embodiment will be described.

[0238] In addition, description of the contents overlapping with those of the above-mentioned vehicle seat S1 will be omitted.

[0239] like Figure 6 , Fig. 7A , Figure 7B As shown, the vehicle seat S2 includes: a seat body including a seat back 102; a side support member 130; a side airbag device 140; and a movable body 150, which is installed on the side portion 102B of the seat back 102, and as the airbag expands and deploys, the cushion material 102a of the side portion 102B protrudes toward the front side of the seat.

[0240] like Fig. 7A , Figure 7B , Figure 8 As shown, the side airbag device 140 includes: an airbag module 141 including a first airbag 142 , a second airbag 143 and an inflator 144 ; and a guide member 145 for guiding the expansion and deployment of the second airbag 143 .

[0241] The guide member 145 is a cloth member (cloth pad) that guides the expansion and deployment direction of the second airbag 143 toward the front side of the seat and toward the inside in the seat width direction.

[0242] The guide member 145 has one end 145a mounted on the front end of the side frame 121, extends continuously from the one end 145a toward the rear of the seat, and is bent back near the rear end of the side frame 121. The other end 145b of the guide member is mounted on the rear end of the movable body 150.

[0243] In detail, Figure 8 As shown, one end portion 145a of the guide member 145 is mounted on a mounting bracket 146 mounted on the inner side surface of the side frame 121. Fig. 7A , Figure 7B As shown, the other end portion 145 b of the guide member 145 is attached to the back surface of the rear end portion of the movable body 150 .

[0244] The other end portion 145b may be attached to the back surface of the movable body 150 by adhesive or the like. Alternatively, a resin adjustment cable (not shown) may be sewn to the other end portion 145b and the other end portion 145b may be hung on the back surface of the movable body 150 via the adjustment cable.

[0245] The other end portion 145b may be attached to the tip end portion of the second airbag 143. In this case, the other end portion 145b is preferably attached to a position that becomes the rear surface of the tip end portion of the second airbag 143 when the second airbag 143 is inflated and deployed.

[0246] like Figure 8As shown, the mounting bracket 146 is a plate body having a substantially J-shaped cross section, and is fastened together with the side frame 121 via an assembly shaft 144 a protruding from the inflator 144 toward the inner side in the seat width direction.

[0247] The mounting bracket 146 is disposed on the inner side of the side frame 121 in the seat width direction, and includes a slit 146 a for inserting the one end portion 145 a of the guide member 145 for mounting.

[0248] The airbag module 141 and the guide member 145 can be stably mounted by the mounting bracket 146. In addition, one end portion of the guide member 145 can be easily mounted.

[0249] In addition, the mounting bracket 146 is unnecessary, and the one end portion 145 a of the guide member 145 may be directly mounted to the side frame 121 using an adhesive or the like.

[0250] like Fig. 7A , Figure 7B As shown, the movable body 150 is a member that protrudes toward the front side of the seat (from a normal position to a protruding position) as the second airbag 143 expands and is disposed between the side frame 121 and the cushion material 102a in the seat front-rear direction.

[0251] The movable body 150 includes a rotating member 152 which is rotatably mounted to the side support member 130 via a mounting portion 151 and rotates toward the front of the seat as the second airbag 143 is expanded and deployed, thereby causing the cushion material 102a to protrude toward the front of the seat.

[0252] A plurality of mounting portions 151 are provided at intervals along the longitudinal direction of the side support member 130 , and are hook-shaped members for clamping the side support member 130 .

[0253] The rotating member 152 includes: a rotating body portion 152a, which is installed in a manner that it can rotate relative to the side support member 130, extending from the side support member 130 along the bottom surface of the cushion material 102a toward the rear of the seat; and a plurality of protrusions 152b (protruding ribs), which protrude from the front surface of the rotating body portion 152a toward the cushion material 102a and abut against the cushion material 102a.

[0254] The rotating body portion 152 a is a plate body extending in an elongated shape in the up-down direction, and the plurality of protrusions 152 b are arranged at intervals along the elongated direction of the rotating body portion 152 a .

[0255] As described above, by providing the guide member 145 , it is possible to prevent the inflated and deployed second airbag 143 from sneaking into the rear of the seat of the side frame 121 .

[0256] Furthermore, as described above, the deployment force of the second airbag 143 can be efficiently transmitted to the mat 102a by including the movable body 150. As a result, the seated occupant can be restrained more quickly and efficiently.

[0257] <<Other>>

[0258] In the embodiment described, Fig. 7A , Figure 7B As shown, the movable body 150 protrudes toward the front side of the seat as the second airbag 143 expands and deploys, and efficiently transmits the deployment force of the second airbag 143 to the cushion material 102 a.

[0259] In this case, a portion of the back surface of the mat material 102 a that faces the movable body 150 (rotation member 152 ) may be provided with a cushioning hardness portion having a higher hardness than the mat material 102 a .

[0260] For example, the portion with increased hardness may be integrally formed with the cushion material 102 a and may be located at a portion directly pressed by the movable body 150 .

[0261] Thus, the movable body 150 can more efficiently transmit the deployment force of the second airbag 143 to the mat 102 a .

[0262] In the embodiment described, Figure 8 As shown, the mounting bracket 146 is mounted on the inner side surface of the side frame 121, but there is no particular limitation and changes may be made.

[0263] For example, Fig. 9 As shown, the mounting bracket 146 can be mounted on the outer side of the side frame 121. Or the mounting bracket 146 can be mounted on the front surface of the side frame 121.

[0264] <Third Embodiment of Vehicle Seat>

[0265] Next, based on Figure 10 to Figure 11A , Fig. 11B A vehicle seat S3 according to a third embodiment will be described.

[0266] In addition, description of contents overlapping with those of the above-mentioned vehicle seats S1 to S2 will be omitted.

[0267] The vehicle seat S3 comprises: a seat body including a seat back 202; a side support member 230; a side airbag device 240; and a movable body 250 mounted on a side portion 202B of the seat back 202, wherein a cushion material 202a of the side portion 202B protrudes toward the front side of the seat as the airbag expands and deploys.

[0268] like Fig.11A , Fig. 11BAs shown, the side airbag device 240 includes: an airbag module 241 including a first airbag 242 , a second airbag 243 and an inflator 244 ; and a guide member 245 for guiding the expansion and deployment of the second airbag 243 .

[0269] The airbag module 241 is mounted on the outer side surface of the side frame 221. Specifically, the assembly shaft 244a of the inflator 244 passes through the side frame 221 and is fastened to the assembly nut 244b.

[0270] The guide member 245 is a cloth that guides the expansion and deployment direction of the second airbag 243. It may also be a sling.

[0271] A ring-shaped mounting member 246 is mounted on one end portion 245 a of the guide member 245 .

[0272] The ring-shaped mounting member 246 is inserted into a mounting groove 244c (mounted portion) formed on the outer surface of the assembly nut 244b and is coupled to the assembly nut 244b.

[0273] According to the above structure, one end 245a of the guide member 245 is connected to the assembly nut 244b via the mounting member 246. In addition, the other end 245b of the guide member 245 is attached to the back surface of the movable body 250 by adhesive or the like.

[0274] According to the vehicle seat S3, the airbags 242 and 243 can be expanded and deployed in a more stable state. In particular, the second airbag 243 can be expanded and deployed in a stable state on the inner side of the side frame 221.

[0275] <Fourth Embodiment of Vehicle Seat>

[0276] Next, based on Figure 12 to Figure 14 A vehicle seat S4 according to a fourth embodiment will be described.

[0277] In addition, description of contents overlapping with those of the above-mentioned vehicle seats S1 to S3 will be omitted.

[0278] like Fig.12 , Fig.13 As shown, the vehicle seat S4 includes: a seat body including a seat back 302; a side support member 330; a side airbag device 340 including an airbag module 341; and a retainer member 360 that retains the airbag module 341 from the rear side of the seat.

[0279] The retainer member 360 is a metal or resin retaining member that retains the airbag 342 , the airbag 343 , and the inflator 344 from the rear side of the seat, and receives the pressure associated with the expansion and deployment of the airbags 342 , 343 .

[0280] The retainer member 360 includes: a rear wall portion 361 having a substantially U-shaped cross-section, which is arranged on the seat rear side of the airbag module 341; and an inner wall portion 362 and an outer wall portion 363, which extend continuously from both ends of the rear wall portion 361 in the seat width direction and toward the seat front side.

[0281] The inner wall portion 362 and the outer wall portion 363 extend in the seat front-rear direction along the side surfaces of the airbag module 341 .

[0282] The inner wall portion 362 is fastened together with the side frame 321 via an assembly shaft 344 a that protrudes from the inflator 344 toward the inner side in the seat width direction.

[0283] The outer wall portion 363 is provided at a side portion of the skin material 302 b and extends toward the front side of the seat to a skin crack portion 302 ba that is cracked when the first airbag 342 is inflated and deployed, or to a position near the skin crack portion 302 ba.

[0284] Specifically, the head end portion (front end portion) of the outer wall portion 363 is arranged at a position overlapping (the same position as) the surface crack portion 302ba in the seat front-rear direction and the up-down direction.

[0285] In addition, the tip end of the outer wall portion 363 may be attached to the surface crack portion 302ba by using an adhesive, etc. Preferably, the tip end of the outer wall portion 363 may be attached to the surface crack portion 302ba of the outer skin material 302bc.

[0286] Furthermore, the tip end portion of the outer wall portion 363 may be attached to the surface fracture portion 302ba via an attachment member (attachment plate) not shown.

[0287] As described above, by including the retainer member 360, it is possible to appropriately receive the pressure associated with the expansion and deployment of the airbags 342 and 343. Furthermore, the pressure received by the retainer member 360 can be transmitted to the surface rupture portion 302ba, so that the surface rupture portion 302ba can be efficiently ruptured. Furthermore, the retainer member 360 can also be stably mounted.

[0288] <<Modification 1 of the retainer member>>

[0289] Next, based on Fig.14 Modification 1 of the holder member 360 will be described.

[0290] The retainer member 360 of variant example 1 includes: a rear wall portion 361 having a substantially U-shaped cross-section, which is arranged on the seat rear side of the airbag module 341; and an inner wall portion 362 and an outer wall portion 363, which are continuous from both end portions of the rear wall portion 361 in the seat width direction and extend toward the front side of the seat.

[0291] The inner wall portion 362 and the outer wall portion 363 extend in the seat front-rear direction along the side surfaces of the airbag module 341 .

[0292] The outer wall portion 363 is provided at the front end portion of the skin material 302 b and extends toward the front side of the seat to the skin rupture portion 302 ba that ruptures when the first airbag 342 is expanded and deployed, or to a position near the skin rupture portion 302 ba.

[0293] Specifically, the tip end portion (front end portion) of the outer wall portion 363 extends toward the seat front of the side support member 330 and is disposed at a position overlapping (the same position as) the surface crack portion 302ba in the seat front-rear direction and the up-down direction.

[0294] In addition, the tip end portion of the outer wall portion 363 may be directly attached to the surface rupture portion 302ba, or may be attached to the surface rupture portion 302ba via an attachment member (attachment plate) not shown.

[0295] As described above, the retainer member 360 can appropriately receive the pressure associated with the expansion and deployment of the airbags 342 and 343. Furthermore, the pressure received by the retainer member 360 can be transmitted to the surface rupture portion 302ba, so that the surface rupture portion 302ba can be efficiently ruptured.

[0296] <Fifth Embodiment of Vehicle Seat>

[0297] Next, based on Figure 15-16 A vehicle seat S5 according to a fifth embodiment will be described.

[0298] In addition, description of the contents overlapping with those of the above-mentioned vehicle seats S1 to S4 will be omitted.

[0299] The vehicle seat S5 includes a seat body including a seat back 402 , a side support member 430 , a side airbag device 440 including an airbag module 441 , and a retainer member 460 that retains the airbag module 441 from the rear side of the seat.

[0300] The retainer member 460 is a retaining member that retains the airbag 442 , the airbag 443 , and the inflator 444 from the seat rear side.

[0301] The retainer member 460 includes a rear wall portion 461 having a substantially L-shaped cross-section and disposed on the seat rear side of the airbag module 441 , and an outer wall portion 463 extending toward the seat front side from one end of the rear wall portion 461 in the seat width direction.

[0302] The outer wall portion 463 extends along the side surface of the airbag module 441 in the seat front-rear direction.

[0303] like Fig.16 As shown, the holder member 460 is mounted in a state of being accommodated inside the bag-shaped bracket member 447 .

[0304] The bracket member 447 is formed, for example, by bonding and sewing two surface materials into a bag shape.

[0305] One end 447a of the bracket member 447 in the seat width direction is provided on the side of the skin material 402b and is connected to the skin tearing portion 402ba that tears when the first airbag 442 is expanded and deployed. That is, the bracket member 447 is mounted integrally with the skin material 402b.

[0306] Furthermore, the one end portion 447a may extend toward the front side of the seat to a position near the surface crack portion 402ba, and may be connected to a predetermined position on the back surface of the surface material 402b.

[0325] The vehicle seat S7 includes a seat body including a seat back 602 , a side airbag device 640 including an airbag module 641 , and a retainer member 670 that retains the airbag module 641 from the rear side of the seat.

[0326] like Fig. 20 As shown, the chair back 602 includes a cushion material 602a disposed on the front surface of a back frame 620, and a surface material 602b covering the back frame 620 and the cushion material 602a.

[0327] The cushion material 602a is formed in the side portion 602B of the seat back 602 in front of the airbag module 541 and includes a cushion through hole 602aa and a cushion through hole 602ad penetrating from the outer side surface to the inner side surface of the cushion material 602a.

[0328] The skin material 602 b includes a skin split portion 602 ba that splits in the outer side surface of the side portion 602B when the airbags 642 and 643 are expanded and deployed.

[0329] like Fig. 20 As shown, the side airbag device 640 includes: an airbag module 641 including a first airbag 642 , a second airbag 643 and an inflator 644 ; and a guide member 645 for guiding the expansion and deployment of the airbags 642 and 643 .

[0330] The airbag module 641 is mounted on the outer side surface of the side frame 621. Specifically, the assembly shaft 644a of the inflator 644 passes through the side frame 621 and the retainer member 660, and is fastened with an assembly nut.

[0331] In addition, the side airbag device 640 may not include the second airbag 643 .

[0332] The guide member 645 is a cloth that guides the expansion and deployment direction of the airbags 642 and 643. It may also be a sling.

[0333] One end portion 645a of the guide member 645 is attached to the back surface of the front end portion of the surface material 602b (specifically, the inner surface material 602bb) by sewing.

[0334] The guide member 645 extends from one end portion 645a thereof toward the rear of the seat so as to cover the mat material 602a (specifically, the mat material 602a of the side portion 602B) from the outside, and further extends so as to pass through the mat through-hole 602aa of the mat material 602a.

[0335] The other end 645b of the guide member 645 passes between the cushion material 602a and the airbag module 641 in the seat front-rear direction, extends inward in the seat width direction, and passes through the cushion through hole 602ad. The other end 645b is attached to the back side of the inner end of the side portion 602B in the seat width direction of the surface material 602b.

[0336] A plate-shaped mounting member 645c (for example, a resin adjustment cable) is sewn to the other end 645b of the guide member 645. The other end 645b is suspended so as to be sandwiched between the mat material 602a and the surface material 602b via the mounting member 645c.

[0337] Specifically, when the other end 645b of the guide member 645 is passed through the pad through hole 602aa, the mounting member 645c is folded in advance. When the other end 645b is hung, the mounting member 645c is lifted (lifted in a T-shape) and hung in the space between the pad material 602a and the surface material 602b.

[0338] As described above, by including the guide member 645, the deployment direction of the side portion 602B of the seat back 602 can be appropriately guided when the airbag is inflated and deployed. As a result, the airbag can be rapidly deployed.
