Housing module for a lighting element, vehicle and method for arranging a component on a lighting element

Abstract

The invention disclosed herein relates to a housing module (100) for a lighting element (401) of a vehicle (400), where the housing module (100) comprises:-a base body (101),-a fastening interface (103) provided on the base body (101) for fastening the housing module (100) to the lighting element (401),-a socket (105) provided on the base body (101) for arranging a cable holder (119), wherein the socket (105) comprises an opening (109) and a number of sliding elements (111) partially surrounding the opening (109), where the number of sliding elements (111) are arranged on a first side of a surface (107) of the base body (101) comprising the opening (109), where the number of sliding elements (111) are configured to slide in the opening (109) when the cable holder (119) is rotated in the opening. A plurality of flexible latch elements (121) of the cable holder (119) protruding from a second side opposite the first side through the surface (107) onto the first side are urged from a locked position, in which the plurality of latch elements (121) cover the surface (107) through the undercut so as to conditionally secure the cable holder (119) to the housing module (100), to a released position, in which the plurality of latch elements (121) cover the surface (107) through the undercut so as to conditionally secure the cable holder (119) to the housing module (100). The plurality of latch elements (121) are compressed to be movable through the opening (109) to release the cable holder (119) from the housing module (100).
