Indica-japonica characteristic sequence set as well as acquisition method and application thereof

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of molecular biology, in particular to an indica-japonica characteristic sequence set as well as an acquisition method and application thereof. The acquisition method comprises the following steps: acquiring a plurality of insertion polymorphism molecular markers and deletion polymorphism molecular markers from an indica rice sample and a japonica rice sample; filtering insertion polymorphic molecular markers and deletion polymorphic molecular markers with deletion rate from the plurality of insertion polymorphic molecular markers and deletion polymorphic molecular markers to obtain insertion polymorphic molecular markers and deletion polymorphic molecular markers with fixed frequency of 100% and deletion rate of 0, and forming an indica-japonica characteristic sequence set; wherein the length of the insertion polymorphism molecular marker and the deletion polymorphism molecular marker with the fixed frequency of 100% and the deletion rate of 0 in the indica-japonica characteristic sequence set is 300-1000bp. The indica-japonica characteristic sequence set provided by the invention can be used for quickly identifying variety types, and the identification accuracy can be improved when the number of sequences in the indica-japonica characteristic sequence set is increased.
