A liquid nitrogen storage tank with liquid level and temperature monitoring

Abstract

This invention discloses a liquid nitrogen storage tank with liquid level and temperature monitoring, belonging to the technical field of liquid nitrogen storage equipment. It includes a tank body with an inlet pipe connected to the upper outer wall and a drain pipe connected to the lower outer wall, with a drain valve connected to the drain pipe. A dual-point level gauge and a temperature monitor are also connected to the tank body. A through hole is opened in the upper part of the tank body, and a basket assembly is movably embedded in the through hole. A semen storage tube is installed inside the basket assembly, and a sealing cap is threaded to the upper part of the semen storage tube. A seal is formed between the upper part of the basket assembly and the through hole. A locking component is provided in the upper part of the tank body, and the locking component is movably fitted with the upper part of the basket assembly. This invention not only achieves sealing, locking, and opening of the basket assembly during insertion into the tank, but also unlocks, closes, and seals the basket assembly when it is removed from the tank, avoiding the problem of low-temperature nitrogen overflowing from the tank, causing frostbite to workers' hands, and preventing waste.
