Metallic transverse tile connection

Abstract

This invention discloses a metal horizontal roof tile connector, belonging to the field of metal roof tile technology. It includes a bottom connecting piece and two top connecting pieces fixed above it. The bottom connecting piece has two upward-protruding inner ribs in the middle, and inward-folding waterproof flanges on both sides. The inner side of the waterproof flanges has a raised edge, and an outer rib is provided between the waterproof flanges and the inner ribs. One side of the top connecting piece is inserted into the waterproof flange, and its side near the waterproof flange has a top rib that bends upward in the middle. The other side has a downward-protruding pressure rib. Rectangular notches are opened at the front and rear ends of the top connecting piece near the pressure ribs. The bottom connecting piece has a downward-folded flange at the front end and an upward-folded flange at the rear end. This invention, through a multi-layered waterproof structure, reinforcing rib design, and flange cooperation, improves the waterproof performance and compressive strength of the connector, effectively preventing rainwater infiltration, and is suitable for the installation of various types of metal horizontal roof tiles.
