Description
Technical Field
[0001] This application belongs to the field of mobile charging equipment technology, and in particular relates to a portable charger. Background Technology
[0002] With the rapid development of electronic products, there is a wide variety of mobile smart terminals, such as smartphones, smart wearable devices like smartwatches and smart bracelets, all designed for business or personal communication, photography, and computing needs. These mobile devices are all limited by battery capacity and require timely charging to maintain battery life.
[0003] Most wireless chargers on the market have a power plug and magnetic electrical contacts. They need to be plugged into a power outlet to be used. In common usage environments, power outlets typically include power strips or wall sockets, and wireless chargers need to be placed on these outlets to receive power. When charging, electronic devices such as smartphones need to be placed on the wireless charger's electrical contacts to establish a charging connection. This means that smartphones cannot be used simultaneously while charging, causing considerable inconvenience in practical use.
[0004] It is evident that while existing wireless chargers can achieve wireless charging, they still limit the freedom to use electronic products while charging. Summary of the Invention
[0005] The purpose of this application is to provide a charger to solve the problem that the existing charger structure limits the freedom of using electronic products while charging.
[0006] To achieve the above objectives, the technical solution adopted in this application is: to provide a charger, comprising:
[0007] The charging dock is provided with a power plug, a mounting platform, and a first charging interface disposed adjacent to the mounting platform. The power plug is used to be plugged into an external power plug.
[0008] A charging head, equipped with a wireless charging module, is used to connect to an electrical contact on a mobile terminal for charging. The charging head is detachably mounted on the mounting platform. The charging head includes a connecting cable, a winding mechanism, and a locking button. The connecting cable is electrically connected to the wireless charging module and can be pulled out of the charging head to connect to the first charging port of the charging base. The winding mechanism is used to drive the connecting cable to automatically rewind back into the charging head. The locking button is operated manually to lock the pulled-out connecting cable, thereby preventing its rewinding.
[0009] The advantages of the charger provided in this application are as follows: Compared with the prior art, the charger of this application mainly includes two parts: a charging base and a charging head. The overall structure is compact, which is conducive to storage or carrying. The charging head is detachably mounted on the mounting platform of the charging base. The charging head acts as a wireless connector for fixing to the main body of electronic products such as smartphones or smart wearable devices, thereby achieving a charging connection. The charging head has a removable connecting cable, allowing the charging head to maintain an electrical connection with the charging base through the connecting cable, and the extended length of the connecting cable provides freedom of use of electronic products while charging.
[0010] The charging head in this embodiment also includes a cable winding mechanism and a locking button. The cable winding mechanism automatically rewinds the pulled-out connecting cable back into the charging head, saving manual operation of rewinding the extended cable and effectively improving ease of use. The locking button locks the pulled-out portion of the connecting cable, preventing it from being rewound by the cable winding mechanism and thus locking the extended length of the connecting cable. Users can use the charging electronic product within the length range of the extended connecting cable, thereby increasing the degree of freedom of use.
[0011] An improvement is made to the structure of the cable winding mechanism, which includes an elastic element and a fixed shaft. The elastic element is a tape measure spring, one end of which is fixed to the fixed shaft, and the other end is fixedly connected to at least a portion of the connecting cable. The elastic element can rotate and wind around the fixed shaft as the connecting cable is pulled out, or it can elastically expand to drive the connecting cable to rotate and rewind back to its original position. Thus, while the connecting cable is being pulled out, the elastic element winds around the fixed shaft to store force, and when the connecting cable is not fixed, the elastic element's elastic expansion releases the stored force, thereby causing the connecting cable to automatically rewind back.
[0012] Another improvement to the cable winding mechanism is made. The mechanism includes an elastic element, a fixed shaft, and a drum. The fixed shaft is located at the center of the drum and is connected to the charging head via a rotating shaft. At least a portion of the connecting cable is fixed to the drum. The elastic element is a tape measure spring, with one end fixed to the fixed shaft and the other end pressing against the inner wall of the drum. The elastic element can be wound tightly onto the fixed shaft as the drum rotates, or expand upon elastic recovery to drive the drum to rotate and rewind the connecting cable back to its original position. This allows the drum to be driven to rotate or rewind to its original position, thereby automatically rewinding the connecting cable.
[0013] In one embodiment, a partition plate is provided on the fixed shaft, located between the elastic member and the wireless charging module. A channel for the connecting cable to move is formed between the outer periphery of the partition plate and the inner wall of the charging head. This allows the portion of the connecting cable that connects to the wireless charging module to move within the channel between the outer periphery of the partition plate and the inner wall of the charging head, thus accommodating the rewinding movement of the connecting cable inside the charging head and effectively ensuring the stability of the electrical connection between the connecting cable and the wireless charging module.
[0014] In one embodiment, the partition plate is detachably connected to the fixed shaft. This allows the partition plate to be removed before the elastic element is installed on the fixed shaft, and the partition plate is then added between the elastic element and the wireless charging module only after the installation is complete. This facilitates the installation of the elastic element.
[0015] In one embodiment, the outer peripheral surface of the partition plate is an arc-shaped surface, which helps to reduce the frictional damage of the partition plate's edge to the connecting cables.
[0016] The internal structure of the charging head is improved. One end of the connecting cable inside the charging head is electrically connected to the wireless charging module, and the other end of the connecting cable is provided with a connector for plugging into the first charging port of the charging base. When the connecting cable is rolled back into the charging head, the connector rests on the cable outlet of the charging head. Therefore, when the charging head is placed on the mounting platform of the charging base, the connector located outside the charging head can be plugged into the first charging port of the charging base, allowing the charging head to be stored and used on the charging base.
[0017] The structure of the locking key is improved. The locking key includes a pressure plate and an operating head disposed on the pressure plate. The operating head is located outside the charging head and is operated by hand. The pressure plate is used to move and press against the connecting cable at the outlet when the operating head is operated, thereby locking the extension length of the connecting cable.
[0018] The charging dock's structure has been improved. A main control board is located inside the charging dock, and a second charging interface for connecting an external charging cable is located outside the charging dock. Both the second charging interface and the first charging interface are electrically connected to the main control board. Therefore, the second charging interface on the charging dock can serve as a wired interface for connecting an external charging cable, enabling wired charging of electronic products.
[0019] In one embodiment, the charging dock also has a storage slot for storing the power plug, and the power plug is mounted on the storage slot of the charging dock via a pivot. This allows the power plug to be concealed on the charging dock, thus preventing it from being exposed when not in use and potentially causing a short circuit. This effectively improves the protection of the power plug and facilitates the storage or portability of the charger. Attached Figure Description

[0047] Traditional wireless chargers typically have a power plug and magnetic electrical contacts. They need to be plugged into a power outlet to function. In common usage environments, power outlets include power strips or wall sockets, and wireless chargers require this connection to receive power. During charging, electronic devices such as smartphones need to be placed on the charger's electrical contacts to establish a charging connection. This means it's difficult to use a smartphone while charging. This contrasts with wired charging, where users can connect their smartphones via a cable and use them simultaneously while charging.
[0048] It is evident that while traditional wireless chargers can achieve wireless charging, they still limit the freedom to use electronic products while charging, causing many inconveniences in actual use.
[0049] Therefore, this application provides a novel charger that improves upon the traditional wireless charger structure. The charger can establish a wireless charging connection with electronic products such as smartphones or smart wearable devices. It also allows users to carry and use the electronic products simultaneously while charging, thereby increasing the freedom of using electronic products while charging. This effectively solves the problem that the traditional charger structure limits the freedom of using electronic products while charging. The details are described below.
[0050] Please refer to the following: Figure 1 and Figure 2 The charger mainly consists of two parts: a charging base 1 and a charging head 2. The overall structure is compact, which makes it easy to store or carry when going out.
[0051] The charging dock 1 is equipped with a power plug 11, which is used to plug into an external power outlet. In common usage environments, the charging dock 1 can obtain power by being installed in a commonly used power strip or wall socket via the power plug 11.
[0052] Please refer to the following: Figure 3 and Figure 4 The charging base 1 is also provided with an installation platform 12 and a first charging interface 13 adjacent to the installation platform 12. The installation platform 12 is used to install the aforementioned charging head 2, and the first charging interface 13 is used to connect to the charging head 2 for charging.
[0053] The charging head 2 is preferably a flat, circular box structure. It is equipped with a wireless charging module 21 and is used to connect to the electrical contacts on a mobile terminal for charging. The charging head 2 is detachably mounted on the mounting platform 12 of the charging base 1. In this embodiment, the charging head 2 preferably has a magnetic module 22, allowing it to be magnetically fixed to a mobile terminal such as a smartphone, or to the main body of a smart wearable device, for charging connection.
[0054] Please refer to the following: Figure 4 , Figure 5 and Figure 6 The charging head 2 includes a connecting cable 3, a winding mechanism 4, and a locking button 5. The connecting cable 3 can be pulled out from the charging head 2 to connect to the first charging interface 13 located on the charging base 1 near the mounting platform 12. The winding mechanism 4 is located inside the charging head 2 and is connected to the connecting cable 3. The winding mechanism 4 is used to drive the connecting cable 3 to automatically wind back into the charging head 2.
[0055] The locking key 5 is operated manually to lock the pulled-out connecting cable 3, thereby limiting its rewinding and locking the extension length of the connecting cable 3.
[0056] Under normal conditions, the connecting cable 3 is kept retracted inside the charging head 2 by the winding mechanism 4. During charging, the connecting cable 3 can be manually pulled out of the charging head 2 and connected to the first charging port 13 of the charging base 1, allowing the charging head 2 to maintain an electrical connection with the charging base 1. The charging head 2 can then be moved away from the charging base 1 and fixed to an electronic product such as a smartphone, utilizing the extended length of the connecting cable 3 to provide greater freedom of movement when using the electronic product. At this time, the user can hold the electronic product, such as a smartphone, for simultaneous use.
[0057] Compared with the prior art, the charger provided in this application mainly comprises two parts: a charging base 1 and a charging head 2. Its overall structure is compact, making it easy to store or carry. The charging head 2 is detachably mounted on the mounting platform 12 of the charging base 1. The charging head 2 acts as a wireless connector for fixing to the main body of electronic products such as smartphones or smart wearable devices, thereby achieving a charging connection. The charging head 2 has a removable connecting cable 3, allowing it to maintain an electrical connection with the charging base 1. The extended length of the connecting cable 3 provides freedom of use for electronic products while charging. This means that users can carry electronic products such as smartphones and use them while the smartphone is charging, thus improving the user experience.
[0058] Furthermore, for smart wearable devices, the charging head 2 can be detached from the charging base 1 and inserted into the ring of the smart wearable device, and fixed to the main body of the smart wearable device to achieve a charging connection. For example, the charging head 2 can be inserted into the ring-shaped strap of a smartwatch and fixed to the back of the watch body to achieve a charging connection. In this way, the charging head 2 provided in this embodiment can be used to achieve a charging connection on smart wearable devices.
[0059] Furthermore, compared to the traditional structure with a winding groove on the charging head 2, users need to manually wind the pulled-out connecting cable 3 into the winding groove to complete the winding operation, which is cumbersome and affects the user experience. Therefore, in the charger of this embodiment, the charging head 2 is also equipped with a winding mechanism 4 and a locking button 5. The winding mechanism 4 is used to drive the pulled-out connecting cable 3 to automatically rewind back into the charging head 2, thereby saving manual operation of rewinding the extended connecting cable 3 and effectively improving ease of use. The locking button 5 is used to lock the portion of the pulled-out connecting cable 3 to prevent it from being driven back by the winding mechanism 4, thereby locking the extended length of the connecting cable 3. Users can use the charging electronic product within the length range of the extended connecting cable 3, thus increasing the freedom of use.
[0060] For the internal structure of the charging head 2, please refer to one embodiment of this application. Figure 4 , Figure 7 and Figure 8 One end of the connecting cable 3 inside the charging head 2 is electrically connected to the wireless charging module 21, and the other end of the connecting cable 3 is provided with a connector 31, which is used to plug into the first charging interface 13 of the charging base 1.
[0061] Under normal conditions, the connecting cable 3 is kept retracted inside the charging head 2 by the winding mechanism 4, and the connector 31 rests on the outlet 20 of the charging head 2. This allows the charging head 2 to be placed on the mounting platform 12 of the charging base 1, so that the charging head 2 can be stored on the charging base 1, which is beneficial for the storage of the charger and its portability.
[0062] Additionally, the connector 31 located on the outside of the charging head 2 can be plugged into the first charging port 13 of the charging base 1, allowing the charging head 2 to be stored and used on the charging base 1. That is, the charger can be installed on a power strip, allowing electronic products such as smartphones to be placed flat on the charging head 2 for wireless charging.
[0063] Regarding the structure of the locking key 5, please refer to one embodiment of this application. Figure 8 The locking key 5 includes a pressure plate 51 and an operating head 52 disposed on the pressure plate 51. The operating head 52 is located outside the charging head 2 and is operated by hand.
[0064] The pressure plate 51 is preferably an arc-shaped plate that matches the outer periphery of the charging head 2 and can be displaced arc-shaped on the charging head 2. The pressure plate 51 is used to move when the operating head 52 is operated and press against the connecting cable 3 at the outlet 20 of the charging head 2, thereby locking the extension length of the connecting cable 3.
[0065] Among them, such as Figure 8 As shown, the charging head 2 also has an elongated hole 23 for installing the locking button 5. The operating head 52 extends out of the charging head 2 through the elongated hole 23 so that the operator can directly pick up the operating head 52 to operate the entire locking button 5.
[0066] In addition, the area of the pressure plate 51 is larger than the area of the elongated hole 23 on the charging head 2, so that the pressure plate 51 is placed inside the charging head 2, thereby restricting the entire locking key 5 on the charging head 2 and preventing the locking key 5 from easily falling off.
[0067] The specific structure of the winding mechanism 4 includes, but is not limited to, the following forms:
[0068] In one embodiment of this application, please refer to the following: Figure 9 and Figure 10 The winding mechanism 4 includes an elastic element 41 and a fixed shaft 42. The fixed shaft 42 is disposed inside the charging head 2 and is located at the center inside the charging head 2.
[0069] The elastic element 41 is preferably a measuring tape spring, also known as a coil spring. A measuring tape spring is a component that resembles a steel measuring tape in shape. Utilizing its buckling properties, it allows the elasticity accumulated during folding to automatically unfold. After unfolding, it can provide the locking force required for the unfoldable structure through its own stiffness.
[0070] One end of the elastic element 41 is fixed to the fixed shaft 42, and the other end of the elastic element 41 is fixedly connected to at least a portion of the connecting cable 3. The elastic element 41 can rotate and wind around the fixed shaft 42 as the connecting cable 3 is pulled, or it can elastically expand to drive the connecting cable 3 to rotate back and reset.
[0071] In this embodiment, as Figure 10 As shown, the connecting cable 3 includes a main cable 32 and branch lines 33 extending from the main cable 32. The main cable 32 is preferably wrapped with an outer protective sleeve to improve its structural strength. One end of the main cable 32 inside the charging head 2 is connected to the end of the elastic member 41 via a fixing member, and the other end of the main cable 32 extends out of the charging head 2 to connect to the first charging interface 13 on the charging base 1. The branch lines 33 on the main cable 32 extend to the wireless charging module 21 and are electrically connected to the wireless charging module 21.
[0072] In this way, while the connecting cable 3 is being pulled out, the elastic element 41 is wound around the fixed shaft 42 to store force. When the connecting cable 3 is not fixed, the elastic element 41 is used to release the stored force by elastic recovery and expansion, thereby driving the connecting cable 3 to automatically rewind.
[0073] For structures on fixed shaft 42, such as Figure 11 As shown, the fixed shaft 42 has a clamping groove 421, and one end of the elastic member 41 is fixed to the clamping groove 421. Preferably, multiple clamping grooves 421 can also be provided on the fixed shaft 42, and these multiple clamping grooves 421 are distributed in a ring on the fixed shaft 42. In this way, the end of the elastic member 41 can be selectively fixed to the corresponding clamping groove 421, thereby adjusting the travel of the elastic member 41.
[0074] For the structure of the winding mechanism 4, please refer to another embodiment of this application. Figure 12 and Figure 13 The winding mechanism 4 includes an elastic element 41, a fixed shaft 42, and a drum 43. The fixed shaft 42 is located at the center of the drum 43. Preferably, the fixed shaft 42 is integrally formed at the center of the drum 43 and is mounted inside the charging head 2 via a rotating shaft, allowing the drum 43 to rotate around the rotating shaft. At least a portion of the connecting cable 3 is fixed to the drum 43. The connecting cable 3 here can also adopt the structure of the main cable 32 and the branch cable 33 described above, wherein one end of the main cable 32 inside the charging head 2 is fixed to the drum 43 by a fixing element, and the branch cable 33 on the main cable 32 extends to the wireless charging module 21 and is electrically connected to the wireless charging module 21.
[0075] The elastic element 41 is preferably a measuring tape spring. The elastic element 41 is disposed between the fixed shaft 42 and the inner wall of the drum 43, so that one end of the elastic element 41 is fixed on the fixed shaft 42, and the other end of the elastic element 41 presses against the inner wall of the drum 43. When the connecting cable 3 is pulled out, it will drive the drum 43 to rotate about the rotating shaft sleeved in the fixed shaft 42. The elastic element 41 in the drum 43 can be wound tightly on the fixed shaft 42 as the drum 43 rotates, or expand when the elasticity is restored to drive the drum 43 to rotate and rewind the connecting cable 3 to reset.
[0076] In this way, the drum 43 can be driven to rotate or return to its original position, thereby driving the connecting cable 3 to automatically rewind.
[0077] Based on the above, please refer to one embodiment of this application as well. Figure 14 and Figure 15 A partition plate 6 is provided on the fixed shaft 42, and the partition plate 6 is located between the elastic member 41 and the wireless charging module 21. The partition plate 6 separates the wireless charging module 21 from the elastic member 41, thereby preventing the elastic member 41 from easily affecting the electrical components on the wireless charging module 21 during movement.
[0078] Among them, such as Figure 15 As shown, the partition plate 6 is preferably a circular plate, and a channel 61 for the connecting cable 3 to move is formed between the outer periphery of the partition plate 6 and the inner wall of the charging head 2. In this embodiment, the branch line 33 leading out from the main cable 32 passes through the channel 61 and extends to the wireless charging module 21, and connects to the connecting part on the edge of the circuit board of the wireless charging module 21.
[0079] In this way, the portion of the connecting cable 3 that connects to the wireless charging module 21, such as the branch line 33 mentioned above, can move within the channel 61 between the outer periphery of the partition plate 6 and the inner wall of the charging head 2, thereby adapting to the rewinding movement of the connecting cable 3 inside the charging head 2 and effectively ensuring the stability of the electrical connection between the connecting cable 3 and the wireless charging module 21.
[0080] It should be noted that the branch line 33 can be reserved to accommodate the rotation stroke of the main cable 32. Furthermore, to reduce the risk of the reserved-length branch line 33 becoming tangled during operation, the extension length of the connecting cable 3 can be appropriately adjusted to regulate the rotation stroke of the main cable 32, thus accommodating the reserved length of the branch line 33. Specific adjustments can be made based on actual circumstances, and no specific limitations are specified here.
[0081] Preferably, the partition plate 6 is detachably connected to the fixed shaft 42. This allows the partition plate 6 to be removed before the elastic element 41 is installed on the fixed shaft 42, and the partition plate 6 is then added between the elastic element 41 and the wireless charging module 21 after the installation is complete. This facilitates the installation of the elastic element 41.
[0082] Regarding the detachable structure between the partition plate 6 and the fixed shaft 42, as an example (not shown in the figure), the partition plate 6 can be mounted on the fixed shaft 42 by fasteners such as screws; alternatively, a mutually engaging snap-fit structure can be provided on the partition plate 6 and the fixed shaft 42, allowing the partition plate 6 to be mounted on the fixed shaft 42 via this engaging snap-fit structure. Thus, any method that allows for a detachable connection between the partition plate 6 and the fixed shaft 42 is acceptable and is not specifically limited here.
[0083] In practical applications, branch line 33 moves within the aforementioned channel 61 and is prone to rubbing against the edge of the partition plate 6, causing damage. Therefore, in one embodiment of this application, please refer to... Figure 14 and Figure 15 The outer peripheral surface of the partition plate 6 is preferably an arc-shaped surface, or it can be chamfered, which helps to reduce the frictional damage of the edge of the partition plate 6 to the connecting cable 3, such as the branch line 33.
[0084] Regarding the structure on the charging dock 1, please refer to one embodiment of this application. Figure 1 and Figure 3 The charging base 1 has a perimeter 14 extending to both sides of the mounting platform 12, and the perimeter 14 defines the shape of the mounting platform 12.
[0085] As an example, such as Figure 3 As shown, the charging head 2 in this embodiment is preferably a flat, circular structure; correspondingly, the mounting platform 12 on the charging base 1 is a frustum structure, and the surrounding edges 14 on the charging base 1 extend to both sides of the mounting platform 12. When the charging head 2 is placed on the mounting platform 12, it is exactly within the surrounding area of the two surrounding edges 14. The two surrounding edges 14 help to match the appearance shape of the charging head 2 placed on the mounting platform 12, thereby improving the overall look and aesthetics of the charger.
[0086] Preferably, such as Figure 3 As shown, the edges 14 on both sides of the mounting platform 12 are chamfered so that the part from the edge 14 to the charging head 2 is inclined to avoid forming a corner, which helps to improve the operating feel.
[0087] For the structure on the charging dock 1, please refer to another embodiment of this application. Figure 1 and Figure 3The charging dock 1 has a main control board (not shown in the figure) inside, and a second charging interface 15 for connecting an external charging cable (not shown in the figure) outside the charging dock 1. The second charging interface 15 and the first charging interface 13 mentioned above are both electrically connected to the main control board.
[0088] Therefore, the second charging port 15 on the charging dock 1 can be used as a wired interface for connecting an external charging cable, so as to make a wired charging connection with electronic products.
[0089] The second charging port 15 can preferably be a common interface such as TYPE-C or USB, so that a data cable with the corresponding interface can be installed to achieve wired charging connection with electronic products such as smartphones, wireless earphone charging cases, tablets and laptops.
[0090] As an example, after the charging dock 1 is connected to a power source, the user can wirelessly charge an electronic product such as a smartphone via the charging head 2. Simultaneously, an external cable can be attached to the second charging port 15 of the charging dock 1 to wiredly charge another electronic product such as another smartphone or tablet. This allows for simultaneous charging of multiple electronic products, effectively improving the charger's adaptability and versatility.
[0091] Regarding the structure on the charging dock 1, please refer to one embodiment of this application. Figure 2 The charging base 1 also has a storage slot 16 for storing the power plug 11, and the power plug 11 is mounted on the storage slot 16 of the charging base 1 via a pivot.
[0092] In this embodiment, the power plug 11 on the charging base 1 can preferably be a pair of terminal inserts; correspondingly, the back of the charging base 1 has the same number of storage slots 16 as the terminal inserts, and the pair of terminal inserts are disposed in each storage slot 16 by means of a pivot.
[0093] This allows the power plug 11 to be hidden on the charging base 1, thus preventing the power plug 11 from being exposed when not in use and thus avoiding short circuits. This effectively improves the protection of the power plug 11 and makes it easier to store or carry the charger.
[0094] The above description is merely a preferred embodiment of this application and is not intended to limit this application. Any modifications, equivalent substitutions, and improvements made within the spirit and principles of this application should be included within the protection scope of this application.
