A silencer for refrigeration piping

Abstract

This utility model discloses a silencer for refrigeration pipelines, including a medium inlet pipe and a medium outlet pipe, with a silencer section provided between the medium inlet pipe and the medium outlet pipe. The outer diameter of the silencer section is larger than the outer diameter of the medium outlet pipe. Therefore, when a high-speed flowing medium suddenly passes behind the silencer section, the flow rate of the medium is slowed down due to the increased space, thus absorbing or reflecting sound energy and reducing noise propagation, which can indirectly improve system reliability and energy efficiency. Simultaneously, since a plug is provided at the end of the medium outlet pipe facing the medium inlet pipe, the plug can be used to promote medium backflow and slow down the flow rate. In particular, a circular hole is provided on the outer circumference of the medium outlet pipe, allowing the flowing medium to enter the medium outlet pipe through the circular hole, ensuring smooth flow of the medium. The medium can be a liquid refrigerant, a gaseous refrigerant, or a gas-liquid mixture refrigerant.
