Description

[0001] The present invention relates firstly to a method for installing a building air conditioning system.

[0002] For this purpose, it is generally known in the art to install support cassettes or so-called "sails" on the ceiling or wall of a building. The side of the support cassette facing the interior of the room has an attractive appearance that conceals or conceals the actual heat exchange devices, such as a fluid-carrying piping system.

[0003] From the prior art, for example, from the applicant's EP 1 426 721 A2, it is also already known to manufacture surface heat exchangers of the holding cassette type. In this sense, the manufacturer first provides a holding cassette, into whose interior a pipe system is inserted, and this is typically secured there directly or (indirectly) to the interior via a fleece. Conventional mounting devices or, in particular, so-called (strip-like) "heat conducting plates" can be used to secure the pipe system.

[0004] In this state-of-the-art process, the finished surface heat exchanger is then delivered in its entirety, in its finished state, to a remote location where the building space in which the surface heat exchanger is to be installed is located.

[0005] This state-of-the-art method has proven to be disadvantageous in that there is still room for improvement with regard to the thermal conductivity of the entire heat exchanger and, on the other hand, it involves a very large logistical effort (particularly on the manufacturer's side).

[0006] The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a method which enables reduced logistics costs while improving thermal conductivity.

[0007] The present invention solves this problem firstly with the features of patent claim 1 and therefore in particular by the following method steps: • Providing a holding cassette for ceiling or wall mounting with a fastening surface extending essentially in one plane in its interior at a first location, in particular the mounting location, • Completion of an intermediate product, comprising a metal carrier plate of at least 0.3 mm thickness, on one side of which a pipe system for conducting a medium, in particular of at least one heat conducting plate, is fixed and on the other side of which an adhesive layer and a protective layer covering the adhesive layer are arranged, at a second, remote location, • Moving the intermediate product from the second to the first location, • manual removal, in particular peeling off, of the protective layer to expose the adhesive layer, • Manual bonding of the intermediate product to the mounting surface of the holding cassette using the exposed adhesive layer to complete a surface heat exchanger, • Installation of the completed surface heat exchanger on the building ceiling or wall, in particular as part of a large number of cascade-like and piping-connected surface heat exchangers on said building ceiling or wall.

[0008] In other words, the idea of the invention is not to fasten the pipe system directly to the holding cassette at a first location, but rather to first fasten the pipe system to a carrier plate that is at least 0.3 mm thick, said carrier plate having a protected adhesive layer on the opposite side.

[0009] In a separate work step, this manageable unit, which can also be described as an intermediate product, can then be glued to the holding cassette at a separate, remote location.

[0010] In this way, optimized heat conduction is ensured, since a carrier plate is arranged between the relatively thin holding cassette and the pipe system, which is able to transfer the temperature or heat energy to be transferred to the holding cassette in an optimized manner (which also optimizes the air conditioning of the room by the finished surface heat exchanger).

[0011] Furthermore, the logistical effort is reduced in that the manufacturer of the intermediate product only needs to produce the intermediate product, thus providing a more transportable product that can be transported without a holding cassette. Because the adhesive layer is protected, the intermediate product, which is significantly more compact to store and transport due to its dimensions, can be handled and handled without unwanted adhesion.

[0012] From the above-mentioned EP 1 426 721 A2 by the applicant, a pipe system glued directly to the inside of the cassette is known in principle - as already described above. However, with regard to prior art according to DE 198 50 013 A1, also by the applicant, it is described there that other - completely different - heat exchanger elements are known in which heat-conducting foil can be connected via recesses in an expanded metal to an adhesive foil arranged on the other side of the expanded metal. This assembly takes place by applying pressure, whereby then - apparently immediately afterwards on the construction site - a protective foil can be peeled off the other side of the adhesive foil in order to attach it to a support plate. However, neither a metal support plate nor an adhesive layer arranged beyond a plate plane is disclosed there, nor the step of transporting an intermediate product to a second location. In any case, the applicant's DE 198 50 013 A1 essentially discloses heat exchanger elements for refrigerators that are not of the generic type.

[0013] EP 1 703 214 A2 already discloses the bonding of a corrugated carrier plate to the vertical struts of a stud frame using adhesive tape. Once installed, plasterboard panels are then screwed to the carrier plate, specifically in the area where the carrier plate is bonded to the vertical struts. DE 195 40 770 C2 also discloses corrugated carrier plates into which a pipe is clipped, with this area additionally coated with adhesive.

[0014] The first location may, for example, be the place of completion of the intermediate product, in particular an assembly hall of the intermediate product manufacturer or similar.

[0015] The intermediate product can then be transported to a second location, which could be the installation site, i.e., the location where the building space to be air-conditioned is located. The term "location" can refer to a specific location, such as a city, a building, or even an area. The mounting cassette may already be located at the installation site. The surface heat exchanger can then be completed and installed directly at the installation site, for example, by a tradesman or a specialized company based at the installation site.

[0016] Alternatively, the second location to which the intermediate product is transported may not be the assembly site. For example, it may be the location of the assembler's headquarters. The assembler can receive the intermediate product, which is then assembled into complete surface heat exchangers at their own facilities using the retaining cassettes available there or transported there. These completed surface heat exchangers can then be transported to the assembly site and subsequently assembled there.

[0017] It is crucial that there is a spatial separation between the location where the intermediate product is completed and the location where the surface heat exchanger is completed (by placing the intermediate product in a holding cassette).

[0018] For this purpose, the first and second locations can be separated by at least one kilometer, preferably at least 10 kilometers, or more preferably at least 50 kilometers. In this sense, the two locations are several kilometers apart.

[0019] For this purpose, it is necessary that the intermediate product is manageable and transportable and, in particular, that the intended adhesive layer is protected.

[0020] To protect this adhesive layer, a protective layer is provided, for example, in the form of a film or similar material. In particular, the adhesive layer can also be a standard industrial adhesive tape already provided with a corresponding, removable protective film. In this sense, the adhesive layer does not need to be continuous. Rather, a plurality of adhesive strips or similar materials can be provided.

[0021] It is crucial that the adhesive areas of the adhesive layer are provided with a removable protective layer that can be removed manually.

[0022] At the second location (especially at the assembly site), the protective layer can be removed manually, i.e., without tools, to complete the surface heat exchanger. For this purpose, the protective layer can, for example, be designed using special means or can be easily grasped and removed in the conventional way. The protective layer can, for example, be a paper or film or something similar, which is suitable for protecting the adhesive layer, but which can be easily and manually removed from it alone.

[0023] By peeling off or removing the protective layer, the adhesive layer is exposed, and the remainder of the intermediate product (i.e., the intermediate product without the protective layer) can then be bonded to the holding cassette. For this purpose, the holding cassette typically has a flat mounting surface inside.

[0024] Typically, exactly one surface heat exchanger is mounted in a mounting cassette. However, in alternative designs, it is also possible to install two or more surface heat exchangers in a mounting cassette, in which case the surface heat exchangers are preferably fluidically connected to each other.

[0025] The holding cassette can be provided with holding devices for attachment to a wall or ceiling of a building space in the conventional manner. Furthermore, depending on customer requirements and application, a cassette can also feature so-called acoustic perforations. In this sense, the cassette is not closed but features perforations on its surface, particularly in the area of the attachment surface, which are typically arranged regularly and in a grid pattern. In this case, it is advisable for the intermediate product to be inserted into the holding cassette to also feature congruent perforations, at least in the area of the carrier plate and, if applicable, the adhesive layer. In particular, the protective layer does not need to feature these perforations, as they are peeled off or removed before the surface heat exchanger is completed.

[0026] A surface heat exchanger manufactured in this way is typically installed together with several identical surface heat exchangers on a ceiling or wall of a building, preferably seamlessly, to provide a uniform appearance. The pipe systems of the individual surface heat exchangers can be fluidically connected, particularly through openings in the side walls of the support cassette or similar.

[0027] Such a multitude of surface heat exchangers can also be referred to as an air-conditioned ceiling or air-conditioned wall. They serve to air-condition the room, specifically, heating or cooling it.

[0028] If heating is desired, a hot medium, particularly water, is typically passed through the pipe system. If cooling is desired, a cold medium, also preferably chilled water, is passed through. The pipes are made in particular of copper, but can also be made of any other suitable metal or other material, such as a suitable plastic. Typically, the pipes of an individual surface heat exchanger have a meandering shape, i.e., they consist of straight and curved sections. Advantageously, the straight sections have a D-shaped cross-section, and the round sections have a circular cross-section.

[0029] The pipe system is typically attached to the support plate by means of heat-conducting plates, which are either glued to the support plate or secured in another, particularly mechanical, manner (e.g., by positive locking). In particular, several strip-like heat-conducting plates can be provided, which are furthermore assigned, in particular, to the straight pipe sections and overlap them on both sides or at least on one side.

[0030] To assemble the surface heat exchanger, as already described, the protective layer can be removed from the intermediate product and this can then be manually glued, particularly under pressure, over the entire surface or tightly onto the fastening surface of the holding cassette.

[0031] The retaining cassette is typically made of metal or steel and can, in particular, be magnetic. It is also referred to as a sail, and the heat exchanger using it is also known as a cassette-type heat exchanger. The heat-conducting plate(s) are generally made of materials with good thermal conductivity, thus providing a heat-conducting function, in particular to transfer the temperature of the medium to the carrier plate. In addition to this heat-conducting function, the heat-conducting plate naturally also has the function of securing the pipe system (or a pipe system section) and simultaneously pressing it against the carrier plate under constant tension. Therefore, the heat-conducting plate is typically made of resilient metal.

[0032] The metal carrier plate, which is at least 3 mm thick (steel can also be used if necessary), allows for even more optimized heat transfer. The metal carrier plate preferably has a thickness of at least 0.5 mm, and more preferably at least 0.6 mm. Sheets that are too thin, such as those found in the unrelated field of refrigerator technology, are not suitable because they bend easily and do not allow for proper heat transfer, which is particularly important for surface heat exchangers used in building air conditioning.

[0033] In the surface heat exchanger used and assembled here, the support plate including the pipe system and heat conducting plate is assigned to the inside of the cassette facing away from the room.

[0034] With regard to the method according to the invention according to claim 1, it should be noted that the last four method steps mentioned therein are carried out in particular in the chronological order in which they are mentioned.

[0035] According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention, the carrier plate is made of aluminum, which enables particularly good thermal conductivity.

[0036] According to a further advantageous embodiment of the method according to the invention, the outer protective layer covering the adhesive layer is designed as a film or sheet and can be removed manually without the use of tools. The protective layer can therefore be a film or a paper or similar material that is suitable for manual removal from the adhesive layer.

[0037] In particular, the protective layer can be formed as part of an adhesive tape or a tape-like layer that is already available together with the adhesive layer. For example, the manufacturer can procure an adhesive tape or adhesive layer with a protective layer on both sides. During production of the intermediate product, one protective layer can then be removed, and the adhesive tape or adhesive layer, with the protective layer applied only on one side, can be bonded to the underside of the carrier plate. The remaining protective layer then remains attached to the adhesive layer until the surface heat exchanger element is completed, protecting the adhesive layer.

[0038] Advantageously, the protective layer is provided with a pulling surface or gripping surface. In the simplest case, this pulling surface can be the back of the protective layer, which can be grasped behind with a fingernail, for example. In this sense, the protective layer can, for example, be easily peeled off at a corner and then grasped behind. Alternatively, it can also advantageously be provided that the protective layer protrudes slightly beyond the adhesive layer in order to provide a gripping surface for the user. Alternatively, the protective layer can of course also provide a separate tab, particularly in a corner area, which makes it easier to peel off or remove the protective layer.

[0039] According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the carrier plate appears black on the side with the adhesive layer after the protective layer has been removed. This offers visual advantages, particularly in the case where the carrier plate including the pipe system (i.e., the remainder of the intermediate product after the protective film has been removed) is to be bonded directly to the holding cassette (i.e., without a black fleece in between).

[0040] This embodiment of the invention is particularly suitable for cases where the holding cassette is not closed in the area of its fastening surface, but rather perforated, and – as described – no fleece is used. The effect of a black color can be achieved, for example, by a separate layer beneath a transparent adhesive. Alternatively, a black-colored adhesive or similar can of course also be used.

[0041] According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the mounting cassette has a width and a length of at least 50 cm each. Mounting cassettes with smaller dimensions have proven unsuitable for installation, particularly for aesthetic reasons, but also for reasons of ease of installation and stability.

[0042] Typical mounting cassettes have a width and length of approximately 60 cm. Alternative, non-square and more elongated mounting cassettes can, for example, have dimensions of 60 x 120 cm.

[0043] To be inserted into such sized holding cassettes, the carrier plates of the intermediate product typically have dimensions with edge lengths of approximately 30 to 120 cm. Typically, the edge length of the corresponding carrier plate must be at least slightly shorter than the edge length of the holding cassette, so that the carrier plate and thus the rest of the intermediate product can be easily inserted into the holding cassette after removing the protective layer.

[0044] Typical support panels, for example, range in size from 30 x 30 cm to 50 x 50 cm. Larger support panels are, of course, also available for larger sails. Both edge lengths are typically at least 20 cm or 30 cm long, but typically do not exceed 250 cm in length / width.

[0045] According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the intermediate product is glued undeformed to the fastening surface after removal of the protective layer. In this sense, strictly speaking, after removal of the protective layer, it is not actually the intermediate product, but rather the remainder of the intermediate product. For the sake of clarity, however, in this case too, we will refer to an intermediate product for the occasion. In any case, the remainder of the intermediate product or the carrier plate is glued undeformed to the fastening surface, so that, for example, the carrier plate is not bent or angled or anything similar. This is generally not possible anyway due to the greater material thickness. Since the carrier plate including the adhesive layer extends essentially along one plane, the carrier plate is also glued to the flat fastening surface essentially along one plane.

[0046] Preferably, the remainder of the intermediate product is bonded to the fastening surface essentially over its entire surface, wherein, for example, it can be provided that the adhesive layer is applied continuously and without gaps to the carrier plate.

[0047] Alternatively, the adhesive layer may also have perforations or similar features, particularly if perforations are also provided either in the mounting surface of the holding cassette and / or on the carrier plate. However, this is still considered to be essentially full-surface bonding within the meaning of the present invention. This is to be understood in particular as meaning that bonding is not merely spot bonding.

[0048] According to the invention, it can be advantageous for the carrier plate to have a substantially continuous adhesive layer on only one side. On the other side, which is associated with the pipe system, no continuous adhesive layer is provided. Although the heat-conducting plates can be attached to the other side with adhesive, this is usually only done in strips and not continuously.

[0049] According to the invention, the side of the intermediate product or the remainder of the intermediate product that has the adhesive layer is preferably bonded plane-parallel to the fastening surface. In this sense, two surfaces that extend essentially along a parallel plane, namely the fastening surface and the adhesive layer or the underside of the carrier plate, are moved toward each other as parallel as possible so that the two planes lie on top of each other. A user can then manually assist in bonding the two surfaces by applying pressure.

[0050] Advantageously, neither the said side of the intermediate product or the said side of the carrier plate nor the fastening surface thereto have any recesses. While minor perforations, particularly grid-shaped acoustic perforations, are possible, recesses in the sense that either the fastening surface or the carrier plate has deep-drawn, recessed areas would probably not allow for a tight bond.

[0051] According to a further advantageous method step, the following can be provided: • Connecting the surface heat exchanger as part of the assembly to at least one other surface heat exchanger that is manufactured essentially identically and arranged on the same wall or ceiling.

[0052] In this sense, several surface heat exchangers can be arranged in a cascade-like manner, ideally seamlessly, to form a climate-controlled ceiling or wall. This process thus provides a surface heat exchanger system that is typically fluidically interconnected in such a way that a medium supplied to the climate-controlled ceiling or wall flows through all surface heat exchangers in succession.

[0053] Especially when dealing with a large number of surface heat exchangers, it is advantageous not to be entrusted with the logistics or transport of the holding cassettes at the production site of the intermediate products.

[0054] However, the method according to the invention can in principle also be implemented with only one surface heat exchanger.

[0055] Furthermore, the object underlying the invention is also achieved by an intermediate product according to patent claim 10 and by a building air conditioning system according to patent claim 11.

[0056] In this regard, it should be noted that all features and advantages described in connection with method claims 1 to 9 are, of course, also transferable to patent claims 10 and 11 and, solely for reasons of clarity, are not explicitly repeated here in connection with the device and system claims. The same, of course, also applies the other way around, i.e., with regard to the advantages described in the device and system claims with respect to the method claims.

[0057] Accordingly, for example, an intermediate product is also to be disclosed which has a carrier plate made of aluminum and / or has a thickness of at least 0.3 mm, in particular at least 0.4 mm or at least 0.5 mm, and / or which, after removal of the protective layer, appears black on at least one side, which has dimensions of at least 30 x 30 cm, more advantageously at least 40 x 40 cm, and / or which has a film-like or sheet-like protective layer for covering the adhesive layer.

[0058] Likewise, in particular, a building air conditioning system is to be disclosed in which the holding cassette has a width and a length of at least 50 cm each, in particular of 60 cm each or of approximately 60 cm x approximately 120 cm, and / or in which the intermediate product can be bonded to the fastening surface without being deformed after removal of the protective layer and / or in which the side of the intermediate product having the adhesive layer can be bonded plane-parallel to the fastening surface, wherein in particular the fastening surface and the said side of the intermediate product are flat or free of recesses.

[0059] Further advantages and embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the uncited subclaims and from the following description of the figures.

[0060] The figures show: Fig. 1 in a sequence of schematic top views the basic components or the production process of an intermediate product according to the present invention, wherein the Fig. 1e then represents the bottom view of the intermediate product, Fig. 2 in a very schematic view, approximately along view arrow II in Fig. 1, a section through the intermediate product according to the invention, omitting some pipe sections, Fig. 3 in a view according to Fig. 2, the intermediate product with partially removed protective layer, Fig. 4 in a view according to Fig. 3 the intermediate product or its residue with the protective layer removed and placed in a holding cassette, Fig. 5 in a view according to Fig. 4 a finished surface heat exchanger according to the method according to the invention, Fig. 6 in a very schematic, side sectional view a section through a building room in which the finished surface heat exchanger according to Fig. 5 is mounted centrally, omitting the intermediate product (rest) for reasons of clarity, and Fig. 7 in a very schematic plan view of an alternative finished surface heat exchanger with two intermediate product(s) already glued together and placed in a holding cassette, which represents an alternative design to the one shown in Fig. 1 shown intermediate product with protruding tubes.

[0061] Before beginning the following description of the figures, it should be noted that identical or comparable parts may be provided with identical reference symbols, sometimes with the addition of lowercase letters or apostrophes. In the patent claims following the description of the figures, the reference symbols used in the figures and the description of the figures are therefore generally used without apostrophes or lowercase letters for the sake of simplicity, provided the corresponding objects are comparable.

[0062] First, the sequence of figures shows the Fig. 1 the manufacturer's production of an intermediate product 10 according to the invention (cf. Fig. 1d and Fig. 1 e).

[0063] For its production, for example in the manufacturer’s manufacturing facilities, Fig. 1a, a carrier plate 11 is used. The carrier plate 11 is in Fig. 1a with its front side 12 and consists essentially of a metal sheet, for example, aluminum. The carrier plate 11 has a material thickness of at least 0.3 mm, in the present embodiment approximately 0.5 mm or even 0.6 mm. This material thickness ensures, in particular, that the carrier plate 11 can also be referred to as a transfer plate, since the intended material thickness enables optimal heat conduction in the carrier plate.

[0064] On the front side 12 of the carrier plate 11, Fig. 1b, a pipe system 13 in the form of a meandering pipe is provided. The illustrated pipe system 13 comprises, in particular, four straight pipe sections 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d, which typically have a D-shaped cross-section. The three substantially curved sections 15a, 15b, 15c arranged therebetween, however, can retain a round cross-section, for example. This pipe system 13 is connected to the pipe system 13 by means of Fig. 1c shown, so-called heat conducting plates 16a, 16b, 16c, 16d as shown Fig. 1d to the support plate 11. The heat-conducting plates 16a, 16b, 16c, 16d are in particular strip-shaped and can each overlap a straight pipe section 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d and fix it to the support plate 11.

[0065] In this sense, in the present exemplary embodiment, the curved pipe sections 15 are not directly attached to the carrier plate 11, but rather only indirectly via the straight sections 14 and the heat-conducting plates 16. The heat-conducting plates 16 can, for example, be glued (in particular on both sides) to the carrier plate 11 or attached to the carrier plate in some other way, for example, mechanically, as described in the subsequently published DE 10 2015 003 280 A1 by the applicant, the disclosure of which is hereby incorporated in its entirety into the content of the present patent application. Accordingly, the heat-conducting plates can, in particular, be metal strips with good heat-conducting properties.

[0066] The intermediate product thus produced is in Fig. 1d in a front view and in Fig. 1e in a rear view.

[0067] The rear view according to Fig. Figure 1e shows that the rear side 19 of the intermediate product 10 and thus also the rear side of the carrier plate 11 is provided with a protective layer 17, for example a removable film or a removable, silicone-coated paper or the like. The protective layer 17 serves to cover and protect a Fig. 1. This adhesive layer is intended to enable the intermediate product 10 to be bonded to a holding cassette in a manner described later.

[0068] Typically, to ensure easy removability or peeling, the protective layer 17 has a gripping surface 18, which can be provided, for example, by a projecting film region or simply a region of the underside of the film (which is associated with the adhesive layer).

[0069] The finished intermediate product according to Fig. 1d / e is typically manufactured separately by a surface heat exchanger manufacturer. However, it is intended to be inserted into a holding cassette, which, according to the invention, is not located at the manufacturer's site.

[0070] The Fig. 1 The intermediate product designated 10 represents in this sense an easily handled and transportable unit as well as a unit that can be easily stored and transported in a logistically easy manner (since, for example, shipping is possible without the particularly heavy holding cassette).

[0071] Typically this is done in Fig. 1, the manageable intermediate product designated 10 for assembling a surface heat exchanger is then transported to another / remote location, where the surface heat exchanger is completed (by bringing the intermediate product together with a holding cassette), as shown in particular in the sequence of figures 2 to 5.

[0072] Here, Fig. 2 a section through the intermediate product 10 in a sectional view approximately according to the view arrows II in Fig. 1d, but omitting two straight pipe sections. Accordingly, Fig. 2 For the sake of clarity, only two of the four straight pipe sections 14 of the pipe system 13 are shown as examples. The pipe sections 14 are shown Fig. 2 are D-shaped in cross-section and are fastened to the front side 12 of the carrier plate 11 by the heat conducting plates 16, in the present embodiment on both sides.

[0073] Fig. Figure 2 further illustrates that an adhesive layer 20 is arranged on the back or underside 19 of the carrier plate 11, which is covered, in particular over its entire surface, by a protective layer 21. The protective layer 21 serves, in particular, to facilitate handling of the intermediate product 10 and transport, in the sense that the intermediate product 10 does not stick to another object during transport due to the adhesive layer 20.

[0074] The Fig. The intermediate product 10 shown in Figure 2 is now already located at a second location, which may, for example, be the assembly location, i.e., the building room in which the surface heat exchanger is to be installed. However, it may, in principle, only be the assembly location in the sense that the assembly of the surface heat exchanger takes place in a neighboring room, neighboring building, or in front of the target building, or in a neighboring spatial section to the target room. Alternatively, the second location may also differ (slightly) from the assembly location. For example, the finished intermediate product 10 may, according to Fig. 2 be transported from the manufacturer's premises to a fitter's premises located near the installation site.

[0075] In any case, it can be proven Fig. 3, the protective layer 21 or protective film 21 can be easily removed or peeled off manually at a second location, which is advantageously the assembly location. This exposes the adhesive layer 20 of the intermediate product 10. For this purpose, a user can manually grasp a gripping surface 18 of the protective layer 21.

[0076] After removing the protective layer 21, a black color impression may be obtained when viewing the underside of the carrier plate 11. This can be created, for example, by a black-colored adhesive layer 20, or in an alternative, not-shown embodiment, by a separate coating on the underside of the carrier plate 11, which would thus be arranged between the carrier plate 11 and the adhesive layer 20, in which case a substantially transparent adhesive layer is to be used.

[0077] The removal of the protective layer 21 according to Fig. 3 preferably takes place immediately before bonding the remainder 22 of the intermediate product in or on a holding cassette 23, as shown in Fig. 4. The remainder 22 of the intermediate product 10, in particular comprising the exposed adhesive layer 20, the carrier plate 11 as well as the pipe system 13 and the heat-conducting plates 16, can then be brought closer to the inner side 24 of the holding cassette along an insertion direction E and glued there with the aid of the exposed adhesive layer 20, in particular over the entire surface. This bonding takes place essentially in a plane-parallel manner, in that the plate plane P is brought plane-parallel to the fastening plane B of the holding cassette 23 until it is glued to a fastening surface 25 of the holding cassette 23. As a rule, no tools, aids or the like are necessary for this. A user can do this manually, in particular by exerting pressure on the rear side 24 of the carrier plate approximately along the insertion direction E after placing the remainder 22 of the intermediate product 10 in or onto the holding cassette 23 or the fastening surface 25.

[0078] The finished surface heat exchanger is then in Fig. 5 is marked with the reference number 26.

[0079] In the Fig. 4 and Fig. Not shown in Figure 5 is a further embodiment, which provides that the fastening surface 25 of the holding cassette 23 is provided by a preferably black fleece arranged in the holding cassette. This optional fleece has, among other things, acoustic and optical properties and can be previously introduced into the cassette 23 in a separate process step.

[0080] If the completion of the surface heat exchanger 26 according to the Fig. 2 to 5 away from the installation site, the surface heat exchanger 26 can now be moved from the second location, for example the location of the local installer, to the installation site, in particular the intended building space. However, if the surface heat exchanger 26 was already completed at the installation site, it can now (as shown in Fig. 6) the final assembly of the completed surface heat exchanger 26 takes place.

[0081] Fig. Figure 6 shows the surface heat exchanger 26 in a fully assembled state, for which purpose the surface heat exchanger 26 was mounted or fastened to a ceiling 27 of a building room 28. For reasons of clarity, the surface heat exchanger 26 is not shown in Fig. 6, however, only the holding cassette is shown without the remainder 22 of the intermediate product 10. Of course, the fully assembled surface heat exchanger 26 contains all Fig. 5 components shown.

[0082] For mounting the surface heat exchanger 26, the holding cassette 23 can be used, for example, in Fig. 6 indicated, and in Fig. 5 for the sake of clarity, have mounting surfaces which are particularly aligned with the side edges 129 of the holding cassette 23 (cf. Fig. 5) can connect.

[0083] The surface heat exchanger 26 is in Fig. 6 is mounted in a cascade on the ceiling 27 together with other surface heat exchangers 26' and 26". The complete assembly also includes, among other things, that the surface heat exchanger 26 is connected with respect to its pipe system to the other surface heat exchangers 26' and / or 26", so that a continuous line of a fluid flowing through the pipe system 13 is ensured on the ceiling 27.

[0084] With reference to Fig. 6, it should be noted that many more or fewer than three of the surface heat exchangers shown can be used on the ceiling. In particular, the surface heat exchangers can be installed not only as shown in the sectional view according to Fig. 6, but also arranged one behind the other in the other spatial direction.

[0085] What all configurations have in common is that the surface heat exchangers 26 form a so-called air-conditioning ceiling, which ensures air conditioning of the room 28. If a cooling medium, such as chilled or cool water, flows through the pipe systems or the pipe system, the air-conditioning ceiling can have a cooling effect. If, however, the room 28 is to be heated, a heated medium, such as hot water, can flow through the pipe systems 13 of the surface heat exchangers 26.

[0086] For the sake of completeness, Fig. 6 it is noted that the surface heat exchangers 26 could of course also be arranged on the walls 29, depending on the application.

[0087] A typical surface heat exchanger 26 has a width b of approximately 60 cm, in particular between 50 and 70 cm. In the other spatial direction, the surface heat exchanger 26 can have identical dimensions or, alternatively, typically approximately twice as long, i.e., a length l of approximately 120 cm or, in particular, between 100 cm and 140 cm. Typically, exactly one intermediate product (rest) 22 is arranged or installed within a holding cassette.

[0088] Fig. Figure 7 shows another embodiment of an installed surface heat exchanger, in which the length of the holding cassette 23' is approximately twice as long as the width, i.e., approximately at a length I of 1.20 m and a width b of approximately 60 cm. In this embodiment, two essentially identical remnants 22' of intermediate products 10' are attached next to each other. Fig. 7, the two structural units 22' are actually connected to each other with regard to their pipe systems 13'.

[0089] Another alternative version shows Fig. 7 also in that the units or residues 22 each have a different design of the carrier plate 11' compared to the carrier plate 11 according to Fig. 1d: In particular, the curved sections 15' of the pipe system 13' extend laterally beyond the actual support plate 11'. This design can vary depending on customer requirements.

[0090] In addition, a further alternative is provided, according to which the support plates 11' in Fig. 7 have a so-called acoustic perforation 30. This acoustic perforation can serve to improve acoustics and in particular with the corresponding, in Fig. 7, acoustic perforation in the mounting surface 25 of the holding cassette 23'. The acoustic perforations in the holding cassette 23' and in the support plates 11' can thus be aligned essentially congruently during assembly. It should be noted that the Fig. 7, the adhesive layer on the carrier plate 11' (not shown) for mounting on the mounting surface of the holding cassette 23' may leave the acoustic perforations exposed. In this sense, the adhesive layer may also have congruent perforations or congruent openings or omissions.

[0091] Thus, in this case, the adhesive layer must still be regarded, within the meaning of the present patent application, as a substantially continuous adhesive layer which is bonded substantially over its entire surface to the inside of the holding cassette 23'.

[0092] Acoustic perforations can of course also be provided in variants in which only a residue of an intermediate product or an intermediate product is used to manufacture a surface heat exchanger.
