Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a transport device. In particular, a rail-bound transport device for transporting solid bodies of any type is proposed, which can be used particularly preferably for transporting rail vehicles, for example, locomotives (hereinafter referred to as locomotives), trams, regional trains, track-laying machines, and the like. When transporting rail vehicles with bogies, it is particularly advantageous that the wheel sets of a bogie of the rail vehicle can be picked up and secured by a single transport device, so that it is possible, for example, to transport a rail vehicle with two bogies using only two transport devices according to the invention.

[0002] Transport devices for transporting damaged rail vehicles are known in the prior art. The transport devices, as described, for example, in US Pat. No. 3,638,582 A, have two wheelsets, between which a receptacle for accommodating the wheels of a locomotive's wheelset is arranged. Thus, for a locomotive with two bogies, where each bogie has, for example, two wheelsets, at least four transport devices must be provided. Furthermore, for safety reasons, these transport devices can only be moved at low speeds, such as 10 km / h.

[0003] Furthermore, a railway transport wagon for the transport of rail vehicles is known from AT 516785 A1. The transport wagon has a two-axle chassis with side walls, each of which has a support in the form of a recess for accommodating the wheels of a wheelset of the rail vehicle to be transported. The support of the side walls on one side accommodates one wheel of the wheelset with play in the longitudinal direction, while the support of the opposite side wall supports the other wheel of the wheelset in a stationary and rotatable manner. One support is designed as a trough with two opposing, jaw-like side surfaces corresponding to the wheel rim surfaces, which are spaced apart by a central circular arc. The other support is formed by a trough from which rollers protrude, on which the wheel rests in a stationary and rotatable manner.

[0004] DE 10 2014 113 584 A1 describes a transport module for transporting railway sleepers on a railway wagon, which comprises an elongated support frame defining a support for the railway sleepers to be transported, as well as means for releasably fastening the support frame to the railway wagon.

[0005] DE 20 2009 008 233 U1 relates to a wagon for the transport of motor vehicles and trailers, which has a loading area that can be pivoted around a pivot point and a subframe under the loading area.

[0006] DE 20 2012 006 378 U1 describes rail wagons for transporting transport containers that at least hold goods, such as semi-trailers or the like, with at least one frame and with at least one wheel set at each end of the frame.

[0007] EP 0 510 372 A1 describes a railway freight wagon for the transport of craneable road vehicle semi-trailers with at least one pocket located lower than the outer longitudinal beams of the freight wagon undercarriage for receiving the wheels of a semi-trailer and with at least one support frame serving to receive the kingpin of the semi-trailer, which support frame can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the wagon on a slideway running over the displacement area.

[0008] WO 2015 / 022 350 A1 describes an arrangement comprising a transport container for radioactive substances and a frame for supporting the container.

[0009] It is an object of the present invention to provide a rail-based transport device, a transport system, and an associated transport method that optimizes the rail-based transport of goods, particularly rail vehicles. In particular, the transport should be less complex and, at the same time, safe, even at high transport speeds, with a view to avoiding derailments.

[0010] This problem is solved by the features of independent claim 1, co-ordinate claim 15, and co-ordinate method claim 16. Advantageous further developments can be found in the dependent claims.

[0011] A transport device according to the invention can preferably be a rail car. For example, the transport device can be suitable for transporting or receiving at least one wheel set of a rail vehicle to be transported. The rail vehicles can include, for example, locomotives, trams, regional trains, track-laying machines, and the like. Furthermore, due to the support plate to be described in more detail below, the transport device can also be suitable for transporting any other volumetric bodies, such as containers, cars, and other transport goods. In summary, the transport goods to be transported can thus include vehicles, containers, and the like, with the vehicles particularly preferably being rail vehicles.

[0012] Furthermore, the rail-bound transport device can comprise a frame that can have at least two longitudinal support elements that can be arranged at a distance from one another. Furthermore, the transport device can comprise at least two transport device wheel sets that can be arranged on the longitudinal support elements.

[0013] A support plate for supporting the transported goods, e.g., at least one wheel set of the rail vehicle to be transported, can be provided on the frame. The support plate can be mounted on the frame via or by means of three connecting sections or connecting areas, or can be detachably connected to the frame by means of three bearing points.

[0014] The advantageous arrangement of the support plate described above, which is connected to the frame via the three (preferably exactly three) connecting sections, makes it possible to provide a transport device with optimal torsional flexibility, so that derailment of the transport device can be reliably ruled out even at high transport speeds and when cornering, and thus rail vehicles can be transported at increased speeds. Since it is possible to safely negotiate curves or the like, the transport device can be moved over long distances at travel speeds of up to 60 to 100 km / h, for example, even when loaded. The support plate also makes it possible to support not just one wheelset of a bogie, but for example two or more.to accommodate all wheelsets of a bogie, so that all wheelsets of a bogie can be accommodated on a single transport device. To transport a rail vehicle, therefore, only two transport devices are required (one per bogie), which significantly reduces and simplifies the transport effort. With conventional devices and systems, however, several transport devices are necessary to accommodate and transport a bogie. Furthermore, the upper surface of the support plate also offers sufficient space to safely and easily set up, secure, and transport any other solid body on it.

[0015] The longitudinal beam elements can preferably be solid metal sheets or metal beams, which can have a thickness of several centimeters. The longitudinal beam elements are preferably relatively longer than they are wide and high.

[0016] Preferably, the transport device wheel sets are arranged such that they are fixedly and rotatably mounted on the frame. A transport device wheel set can, in particular, comprise a (wheel) axle and two wheels. The wheels can have a wheel flange. In addition to the wheels and the axle, the transport device wheel set can also comprise a wheelset bearing, which can preferably be arranged in a housing, so that the axle can be rotatably mounted.

[0017] Furthermore, the frame can have one or more cross members that centrally connect the longitudinal member elements. In particular, the longitudinal members can be connected to one another in their center (in the longitudinal direction) by means of the cross member(s). By connecting the longitudinal member elements in the center, it is possible to achieve advantageous torsional rigidity of the frame. The rigidity is not increased excessively by the central positioning, so that the advantageous driving behavior of the transport device, especially when cornering, can be supported or achieved. The cross members can advantageously be arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal member elements and firmly connected to them, e.g. via a welded or riveted connection.

[0018] The cross members can most preferably be arranged between the longitudinal beam elements in such a way that the frame essentially forms an H-shape when viewed from above. This advantageous shape enables particularly advantageous torsional rigidity and thus optimized transport speeds and increased safety. In this context, reference should be made again to the support plate according to the invention, which does not (significantly) reduce this torsional rigidity, allowing, for example, particularly high cornering speeds.

[0019] Furthermore, the support plate can be mounted on the frame by means of a maximum of three and particularly preferably by means of exactly three connecting sections spaced apart from one another (or the support plate can be connected to the frame by means of a maximum of three and particularly preferably by means of exactly three bearing points).

[0020] The first connecting section can preferably be arranged centrally on a first (longitudinal) side of the support plate. The second and third connecting sections can then be arranged on a second side of the support plate opposite the first side. Particularly preferably, the three connecting sections thus form a triangle in plan view. Most preferably, the first connecting section is located centrally on the long side of the support plate, and the second and third connecting sections are located to the right and left of the center of the opposite long side, respectively. Most preferably, the formed triangle is isosceles. Advantageously, the support plate can be mounted on the longitudinal support elements of the frame.

[0021] It has been shown that the above-described (three-point) mounting of the support plate has the technical advantage that the aforementioned "torsional flexibility" of the frame or the transport wagon itself, on which the support plate is mounted, is not (significantly) impaired. In other words, the torsional flexibility of the frame is maintained – which enables good cornering even at high speeds – and at the same time, for goods with wheel axles, more than one wheel axle (e.g., on a locomotive) can be accommodated, allowing for an entire bogie. This makes transport less complex while maintaining a high level of safety; at least because fewer transport devices need to be used.

[0022] Furthermore, each connecting section can have a bearing point. Particularly preferably, each connecting section has exactly one bearing point. The term "bearing point" should be understood in particular as a surface with the smallest possible area for establishing contact between the frame and the support plate or a section thereof. The size and shape of the bearing point is preferably based on the mechanical characteristics. For example, this should mean that appropriate dimensioning is required, particularly depending on the weight load to be supported. The force can advantageously be transmitted from the support plate to the frame via a maximum of, and particularly preferably via, exactly three bearing points.

[0023] In other words, the preferred three-point mounting, as described above, allows the optimal softness or flexibility of the transport device's structure to be maintained, allowing relatively high transport speeds and increased safety against derailment. Thus, when attaching the support plate to the frame, the torsional rigidity is not increased so much that (minor) torsion of the frame would be prevented, especially when cornering.

[0024] For each connecting section, the connecting section or support element, together with a counter element (extension or pin), can form a bearing point on the frame. A bearing point can comprise a protruding section or extension (extension of the frame or pin of the frame) and a support element that can be positioned on the extension and is connected to the support plate. The positionable support element can comprise part of the connecting section of the support plate or form it (entirely). The support element can comprise the bearing point.

[0025] Preferably, a lower pin can be provided which is assigned to the frame or is firmly connected to the frame at a mounting section (preferably welded). Furthermore, an upper pin (as an example of the positionable support element) can preferably be provided which is firmly arranged on the installation plate or on an additional support of the installation plate. Each of the particularly preferably exactly three bearing points particularly preferably has only one bearing point (e.g. in the form of the pin or a pin section). Thus, preferably three extensions of the frame (or protruding sections of the frame or pins of the frame) and three positionable support elements of the installation plate (e.g. pins of the installation plate) are provided.

[0026] For mounting on the frame, the support plate can be placed on the frame's extensions via its bearing points or contact surfaces. Its own weight and preferably also the shape of at least one bearing point securely holds the support plate in position on the frame, particularly in the specified x and y positions. Furthermore, guides can also be provided in the longitudinal support element at the bearing point, which lead to or contribute to securing the support plate in the x and / or y directions.

[0027] A bearing point for the described transport device can thus be provided by providing a pair of pins or a pair of protruding sections of the frame and the support plate. A first pin (extension of the frame) of the frame and a second pin (positionable support element) of the support plate are provided. Two of the three provided bearing points preferably have only one degree of freedom, and the third bearing point is preferably a quasi-torque-free bearing, so that torques are (virtually) not transmitted via this bearing—only transverse forces.

[0028] In other words, the bearing points can be divided into two bearing points with potential moment transfer and one bearing point that provides moment-free support. The two bearing points, where moment transfer is also possible, can be provided on one side of the longitudinal member element. The bearing point that only allows moment-free support can be provided on the opposite side of the longitudinal member element. This advantageous three-point support maintains the frame's flexibility or does not significantly reduce it, even when the support plate is mounted on the frame.

[0029] Advantageously, the frame extension is welded to the longitudinal support element. Furthermore, the frame advantageously has three extensions. Two of the extensions have a flat bearing surface for contact with the support elements of the support plate, and another extension has a bearing surface that can be convex or concave. The extension with the convex or concave bearing surface is arranged on a longitudinal support element that is opposite the longitudinal support element on which the extensions with the flat bearing surfaces are located.

[0030] Further preferably, the contour of the bearing surface of the convex / concave extension corresponds to a circular segment. The support element of the mounting plate, which can be positioned on the convex / concave extension, has a corresponding convex / concave bearing surface (bearing point), so that the contact geometry of the support element with the corresponding extension allows a rotational movement.

[0031] As already explained, the transport device can preferably have three bearing points. Two bearing points, which are arranged on one side of a longitudinal support element, can be designed such that a rotational movement about the respective bearing point is blocked, for example by the provision of side elements and by the use of flat bearing surfaces arranged parallel to one another. The bearing point of the remaining connecting section can be arranged on the opposite longitudinal support element and designed such that a rotational movement between the support plate and the frame is possible. Thus, the two bearing points arranged on one side of the longitudinal support element provide two bearings that only allow movement in one direction. The opposite bearing point, located on the opposite longitudinal support element, provides a bearing arrangement designed to allow rotational movement between the frame and the support plate. Thus, the bearing point of the opposite longitudinal support element preferably only absorbs transverse forces.

[0032] Preferably, the bearing surfaces between the pairs of pins are greased to further increase the softness of the connection. Thus, a lubricant or lubricant can advantageously be provided between the extension of the frame and the support element, which can be contacted via the bearing surfaces.

[0033] Two connecting sections or two of the positionable support elements of the support plate can each have a flat bearing surface. The connecting section, which is arranged on the opposite longitudinal support element, can have a concave / convex contact geometry or bearing surface to enable rotational movement between the frame and the support plate and thus a moment-free bearing with respect to at least one axis (preferably with respect to an axis parallel to the axis of the transport device wheel sets).

[0034] In a further advantageous development, the support plate can be constructed in several parts to enable a modular design; for example, this can simplify assembly and transport of the support plate. Furthermore, recesses can be provided on the support plate to reduce weight. Furthermore, the support plate can be arranged flush with the surfaces of the longitudinal elements.

[0035] The support plate can be designed or dimensioned in such a way that, for example, more than one wheelset of a rail vehicle to be transported can be accommodated on the transport device. The support plate can in particular be designed such that two wheelsets or an entire bogie with all its wheelsets of a rail vehicle to be transported can be accommodated in order to accommodate all wheelsets of a bogie with a single transport device. The dimensions depend on the size of the locomotive to be transported and are preferably at least 1 m long and particularly preferably several meters. The same applies to the width of the support plate, whereby the support plate is preferably less wide than long and thus particularly preferably has a rectangular shape. However, other shapes are possible as long as they allow for mounting on the frame according to the invention and the accommodation of several wheel sets of a rail vehicle to be transported.

[0036] The mounting plate can advantageously be a solid plate made of metallic material, with at least one recess, preferably three circular recesses, provided in the center. However, the mounting plate can also advantageously be a sandwich plate comprising metallic and / or non-metallic materials.

[0037] Track-guiding elements, in particular rail(s) for receiving a rail vehicle to be transported or a transport item that can be carried on rails (e.g. a container with wheels or transport item on a rail-bound wagon), can advantageously and preferably also be provided on the installation plate. These rail elements are also referred to below as transport rails in order to enable a better differentiation from other rails or the tracks (the land-based infrastructure). In the following, the land-based rail transport infrastructure on which the transport device is moved is referred to in particular with the term "track(s)". Track-guiding elements make it possible to receive the rail vehicle to be transported or the transport item to be transported on these elements on the installation plate without the wheels or the like having to be dismantled. This further reduces the transport effort.

[0038] Particularly preferably, the track width (the distance between the transport rails) of the track-guiding elements or transport rails can be set / adjusted in order to adapt the track width to different rail vehicles to be transported and to be able to transport them without having to provide a separate mounting plate for each type of rail vehicle to be transported.

[0039] The transport rails for receiving the at least one wheelset of the rail vehicle or transported goods to be transported can be arranged detachably and / or movably or displaceably on the installation plate, in particular via fastening elements. This enables the transport rails to be dismantled and / or the above-described adjustment of the track width of the transport rails, such that a flexible transport device can be provided with which different types of rail vehicles with different track widths can be transported. In other words, the transport rails for receiving the at least one wheelset of the rail vehicle to be transported can be provided on the installation plate, and the track width of the transport rails can be adjustable. The track width can be changed, for example, by releasing the transport rails and then reattaching them at a different location (e.g.by means of screws and / or clamping or tensioning devices). Furthermore, a sliding system, e.g., comprising slide rails, can also be provided, which either has predefined locking points or has continuously adjustable fixing positions. Adjusting the track width is thus time-efficient and can be carried out with few additional tools.

[0040] For example, the transport rails can be removably attached to the support plate at fixing positions, e.g., snap-in holes. This allows the position of the transport rails on the support plate to be changed. This allows the track width to be adjusted, and the transport rails can be attached asymmetrically to the support plate while maintaining a constant track width, allowing even special vehicles with an off-center center of gravity to be transported. For example, one transport rail can be positioned near the center of the support plate and the second transport rail near the edge. The transport rails can advantageously extend between the transport wheel sets of the transport device.

[0041] Locking elements can be provided that can be arranged on the transport rails, thus enabling the movement of the rail vehicle or transported goods to be blocked. The locking elements can also be arranged so as to be displaceable along the transport rails and can preferably be locked via locking holes or clamping points on the transport rails and / or the support plate. In other words, locking elements can be provided to secure the wheelset of the rail vehicle to be transported in at least one direction of movement. A locking element preferably comprises an engagement element for engaging and locking into the locking holes or a similar element for clamping the locking element at a desired position along the transport rail. Furthermore, the locking element can have a wheel clamping element that can be connected to a main body of the locking element in a longitudinally movable manner. The longitudinal position of the wheel clamping element can be adjusted via a thread to bring it into contact with the wheel of a rail vehicle being transported. The wheel clamping element can have a wedge-shaped contact surface to ensure a perfect fit with the wheel. These advantageous designs make it possible to optimally secure the rail vehicle being transported on the transport device.

[0042] The longitudinal beam elements of the frame can further have recesses for receiving crossbeams (crossbeams). These crossbeams can be placed on the tracks, thus providing a foundation independent of the track environment. In other words, a foundation independent of the track environment can be formed by placing crossbeams in the recesses, and lifting cylinders can also be attached to the crossbeams.

[0043] The recesses are particularly preferably triangular. This has the advantage that the crossbeams to be accommodated can be easily centered in the recesses. The recesses can particularly preferably each have a vertical surface and an opposite sloped surface, allowing optimal lifting of the support plate when lifted via the lifting cylinders. By centering the crossbeams in the triangular recesses (the crossbeam rests against the vertical surface and is pressed against the vertical surface via the sloped surface), the center of gravity of the support plate to be lifted can always be positioned centrally on the independent foundation.

[0044] The recesses allow an advantageous configuration comprising the crossbeams and the lifting cylinders for lifting the support plate to be formed independently of a crane, the track environment or the like, so that the support plate or the transport device can be loaded / unloaded independently of a large crane or the like.

[0045] In other words, each longitudinal beam element can have two (lower) recesses, and the recesses can be aligned in the vertical direction of the longitudinal beam elements. The recesses can also be present on the undersides of the longitudinal beams. Preferably, the recesses are arranged symmetrically with respect to the transverse axis of the longitudinal beam element, and preferably, the recesses of the two longitudinal beam elements are located opposite each other in pairs, so that the cross members can be arranged perpendicular to the tracks.

[0046] The preferred lifting cylinders can be used to raise the support plate so that the support plate can be raised in position relative to the tracks (in height); at least to the extent that the transport rails or the upper surface of the support plate are arranged above the wheel flanges of the transport device. This allows for easy loading and unloading of the transport device; for example, loading or unloading from an elevated ramp or the like can be carried out without a crane. Thus, in a corresponding method according to the invention, the transport device can, for example, be moved up to the ramp, the crossbeams are inserted into the recesses, the lifting cylinders are attached to them, and the support plate is raised to the height of the ramp by means of the lifting cylinder. The rail vehicle to be transported can then be moved onto the transport rails of the support plate, and the support plate is subsequently lowered onto the frame of the transport device. This is a quick and inexpensive loading / unloading procedure, made possible by the transport device according to the invention.

[0047] Furthermore, an advantageous transport system for transporting rail vehicles and / or other goods is proposed. The transport system comprises the described transport device; particularly preferably at least two or very particularly preferably exactly two, for example, if rail vehicles with two bogies are to be transported. In the transport system, at least one crossbeam is arranged in each of the recesses of the longitudinal support elements transversely to the tracks, and at least two lifting cylinders can be arranged on the crossbeams, with which the support plate can be raised relative to the tracks. In other words, by placing crossbeams in the recesses of the longitudinal beam elements, a foundation for the transport system can be created that is independent of the track environment. The support plate can be raised relative to the tracks using lifting cylinders, at least until the transport rails are above the wheel flanges of the transport device's wheels. This allows for the described, less complex loading and unloading of the transport system.

[0048] Advantageously, the transport system can also comprise intermediate elements with transport rails for bridging the distances between two adjacent transport devices. An intermediate element can be fixed to the transport device, in particular via screw connections or other suitable fastening means on the longitudinal support elements. This makes it possible for the rail vehicle or other transport goods to be transported to roll along the transport rails, from one transport device to an adjacent one or from an external ramp onto the transport device. This makes it easy to load and unload the transport devices. For example, loading / unloading can be achieved independently of a crane. This provides a particularly flexible system. This flexibility is further increased by the adjustable transport rails.

[0049] An advantageous method for loading / unloading the described transport device can comprise the following steps: Placing crossbeams in the recesses of the longitudinal beams on the tracks; Attaching lifting cylinder(s) to the crossbeams and raising the support plate via the lifting cylinders; Mounting intermediate elements with transport rails to bridge the distances between two adjacent transport devices; Loading or unloading the transport devices via the transport rails. This method allows for less complex, time-efficient, and safe loading and unloading of the transport system.

[0050] In other words, an advantageous method for loading / unloading transport devices can comprise the following steps: attaching intermediate elements between two adjacent transport devices, wherein one plate of the intermediate elements is arranged above the wheel(s) of the transport device and transport rails are provided on the plate; raising the support plates by at least one lifting cylinder until the rails of the support plate align with the rails of the intermediate elements. If transport rails are not provided, the surfaces of the intermediate element and the support plate(s) can be moved to the same height.

[0051] The support plates can be raised using lifting cylinders, allowing the height of the support plate to be aligned with the height of the intermediate elements. This allows the rail vehicle or goods to be transported to roll over the adjacent transport devices. This enables quick and less complex loading and unloading of the transport system.

[0052] Furthermore, as already explained, to lift the support plate, crossbeams can be placed on the tracks in the recesses of the longitudinal support elements. Lifting cylinders can be attached to the crossbeams, which can lift the support plate vertically. The support plate is moved vertically along guides. These guides are preferably provided on the longitudinal support elements. More preferably, these guides are provided at the bearing points. The support plate can thus be guided along the guide via the support elements, which can be placed on the extensions of the frame, with the guide preferably running vertically, starting at the extension of the frame. The guides therefore preferably run vertically.

[0053] Advantageously, further (additional) recesses are provided in the longitudinal support elements of the frame, which are designed to receive a blocking element. These further recesses enable the insertion of a blocking bar (for example, a tube or a hollow tube), so that a vertical downward movement of the support plate can be blocked after the support plate has been lifted via the lifting cylinders by inserting the blocking elements into the further recesses of the longitudinal support elements. This insertion of the blocking bars can also be part of the method according to the invention. This has the particular advantage that the transport device can be provided with a raised support plate, whereby the crossbeams and the lifting cylinders can be removed and used, for example, for lifting the adjacent transport device.

[0054] Preferably, the further recesses of the longitudinal support elements are arranged in such a way that blocking elements (blocking rods or tubes) can be guided through the further recess of a longitudinal support element until they reach the recess of the opposite longitudinal support element, so that the blocking element can be connected to the frame via the contact or receptacle on two longitudinal support elements.

[0055] Furthermore, it should be pointed out again in other words that the transport device can have a frame which can comprise at least two longitudinal support elements which can be arranged at a distance from one another in the transverse direction. In other words, the longitudinal support elements can be arranged such that they are parallel to one another and parallel to railway tracks on which the transport device can be set up. The transverse distance between the two longitudinal support elements is preferably selected such that wheels of the wheelset of the transport device can be arranged between the longitudinal support elements and these wheels have the track width of the country in which the transport device is to be used. The wheels of the wheelset can also be arranged outside the longitudinal support elements, in which case the transverse distance between the longitudinal support elements must then be adapted accordingly to the specified track width.Furthermore, the frame can have at least one cross member element, which can preferably be mounted perpendicular to and between the longitudinal member elements. It is also possible to arrange the cross member element at an angle between the longitudinal member elements or to provide two intersecting cross member elements. Particularly preferably, the frame can have an H-shape in a plan view (without the mounted transport device wheel sets), so that optimal rigidity of the transport device, in particular with respect to torsional distortion, can be ensured. Preferably, the transport device wheel sets and the frame are connected and held together solely by the weight of the frame and the shape of the recess.

[0056] The transport device can also be designed so that the maximum track width that can be transported is 1676 mm, as used, for example, in India. The adjustability of the transport rails on the support plate makes it possible to reduce the track width of the transport rails to such an extent that, for example, rail vehicles with a narrow gauge of 760 mm or 600 mm can also be transported. Particularly preferably, the transport device can transport at least the track widths of 1436 mm, 1520 mm, 1524 mm and 1688 mm, which are very commonly used in Europe, Asia and Russia, or can be adjusted to them. The transport rails are arranged in fixing positions on the support plate, with each fixing position comprising holes that can be aligned with holes in the base plate of the transport rails. The fixing positions can be predetermined via holes in the support plate.

[0057] The wheels of the rail vehicle can preferably be placed on the transport rails on the support plate in such a way that a wheel flange of the respective wheel can be in contact with an inner side edge or a (slight, ie a few centimeters or millimeters) predetermined distance can be present between an outer side of the wheel flange and the inner side edge of the transport rail.

[0058] The preferably two transport device wheel sets (more axles or wheel sets are possible) can be arranged on the longitudinal support elements at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction. The transport device wheel sets are preferably arranged on the longitudinal support elements such that the two axes are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the longitudinal support elements. Furthermore, the transport device wheel sets can preferably be arranged at a respective end section (seen in the longitudinal direction) of the longitudinal support elements.

[0059] Preferably, the wheels of the transport device wheel sets of the transport device can each be arranged on the inside of the longitudinal support elements, so that a very compact transport device can be offered which also offers optimal safety, since rotating elements, in particular the wheels, are positioned within the longitudinal support elements.

[0060] A horizontal collar and two vertical profile pieces can protrude (from the outside) on each outer side of the longitudinal member elements, preferably arranged around the U-shaped recess, and can be arranged along the shape of a downwardly open rectangle. The collar and the profile pieces can be provided to accommodate a bearing housing of a transport device wheelset (wheelset bearing housing) within the volume defined by them. Other designs for supporting the wheelset bearing housing are conceivable. The transport device wheelsets can thus be assembled particularly safely and with little assembly effort, since the wheelset bearing housings, for example, can be inserted between the vertical rails with relatively little complexity, or the frame can be pushed onto / placed onto the transport device wheelset or the wheelset bearing housings from above.

[0061] A spring element can be arranged between the (preferably horizontal) collar and the wheelset bearing housing, which can have / offer a bearing play or a spring travel in the Z-direction, X-direction and / or Y-direction, so that vibrations and shocks can be dampened or the frame can be partially / elastically decoupled from vertical movements of the transport device wheel sets.

[0062] Furthermore, the transport device can have four crane eyes, which can each be arranged on a longitudinal end section of the longitudinal support elements and enable lifting and moving, in particular, the frame by means of a crane or the like.

[0063] Furthermore, electrically conductive cross-connections can also be arranged between the outer longitudinal ends of the longitudinal beam elements, e.g., in the form of metallic cross braces. These cross-connections can preferably be electrically connected to the longitudinal beam elements at the front and rear in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal beam elements, e.g., between the crane eyes. The arrangement of the electrical cross-connections allows for the triggering of an induction loop, e.g., in barrier systems.

[0064] Furthermore, at least one elastic stopper element can be provided; preferably, one can be arranged at each longitudinal end of a longitudinal support element, so that no damage occurs to the transport device in the event of a collision between two transport devices or the like. The stopper element can preferably have an elastomer head to which a screw element or thread is attached, so that the stopper element can be screwably connected to the frame.

[0065] Furthermore, it should be noted in general terms at this point that in this description the term longitudinal direction generally refers to the direction in the direction of travel along the tracks / railway tracks (on which the transport device can be set up), which is usually also referred to as the X direction. The Y direction is referred to below as the transverse direction and is preferably the direction that is perpendicular to the X direction in the same plane, i.e. the direction transverse to the railroad tracks. The Z direction marks the vertical direction and points with the positive axis upwards. The terms "bottom" and "top" are also used. "Bottom" is intended in particular to mean "pointing in the direction of the tracks", "relatively closer to the tracks" or "relatively further in the direction of smaller Z values". "Top" is intended in particular to include the opposite of "bottom".

[0066] In summary, the invention thus enables the transport device according to the invention to be improved compared to previously known devices, particularly with regard to its cornering capability, and this cornering capability is not significantly restricted by the support plate. The support plate enables the transport of various transport goods, e.g., vehicles, in particular rail vehicles, containers, and any other solid bodies. Furthermore, when transporting a rail vehicle with a bogie, all wheels of the bogie can be accommodated by a single transport device. By providing transport rails on the support plate, it is also possible to enable simple loading and unloading and to accommodate bogies with different wheelbases.

[0067] The invention is described below by way of example with reference to the attached schematic drawings. [0068] Various examples of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the figures. Identical or similar elements in the figures are denoted by the same reference numerals. However, the present invention is not limited to the described examples, but further encompasses modifications of features of the described examples and combinations of features of various examples within the scope of the independent claims.

[0069] In Fig. Figure 1 shows a first view of the transport device 1. The transport device 1 is embodied, for example, as a rail car. The rail car has a two-axle chassis with a frame 2 and can be moved along railway tracks of the track or tracks GL. The transport device wheel sets 4a, 4b of the rail car have wheels RT that are suitable for standing on the tracks GL. For this purpose, the wheels RT each have, among other things, a wheel flange SK. A support plate 40 is provided on the frame 2. The support plate 40 is detachably connected to the frame 2.

[0070] The bearing utilizes three connecting sections with respective bearing points of the support plate 40. The first connecting section is arranged on a first side of the support plate 40. The second and third connecting sections are arranged on the opposite side of the support plate 40. This three-point bearing arrangement makes it possible to achieve advantageous torsional flexibility of the frame of the transport device 1. This is particularly advantageous for cornering, allowing the loaded transport device 1 to be moved at an increased transport speed while simultaneously reducing the risk of derailment.

[0071] The mounting plate 40 is preferably a solid steel plate, which preferably has the Fig. 1. It can have one or more recesses 42 to reduce weight. A plurality of fixing holes 41 for attaching the transport rails TS are provided on both side regions (in the transverse direction) of the support plate 40. Since the support plate 40 is connected to the frame 2 on one side by means of two connecting sections and on the opposite side by only one connecting section, it is possible to create an imaginary triangular connection between the connecting sections, which further and particularly optimally allows for torsion of the frame of the transport device 1.

[0072] The longitudinal beam elements 3a, 3b of the frame 2 are arranged parallel to each other, with each longitudinal beam element 3a, 3b having different recesses. A U-shaped recess (see also Fig. 6E), which is open downwards, is provided in the longitudinal support element 3a, 3b and has the same or a larger diameter as the axle 4aa, 4ba of the transport device wheel sets 4a, 4b to be accommodated in the recess. Thus, the wheel sets can be easily accommodated on the longitudinal support elements 3a, 3b.

[0073] Laterally offset from the first longitudinal beam element 3a, taking into account the maximum predetermined track width of the transport device, is the second longitudinal beam element 3b. This has two positions for the transport device wheelsets 4a, 4b. A horizontal collar 12, which is preferably welded, is firmly connected to an outer side of the longitudinal beam element 3a, 3b, at each longitudinal end section. Below the collar 12, two vertical profile pieces 13a, 13b are also firmly connected to the longitudinal end sections, preferably by welded connection. These three aforementioned components form a rectangle open at the bottom (where "bottom" here means in the direction of the tracks), in which a wheelset bearing housing 14 of the transport device wheelsets 4a, 4b is accommodated.

[0074] Lower recesses or cutouts 3b1, 3b2 are provided on the longitudinal beam elements 3a, 3b for accommodating crossbeams QT, which can be placed on the GL tracks, so that a foundation independent of the track surroundings can be formed by placing the QT crossbeams in the lower recesses 3b1, 3b2. The support plate 40 can be raised relative to the GL tracks via lifting cylinders; at least to the extent that the transport rails TS are positioned above the SK wheel flanges of the RT wheels of the transport device.

[0075] To connect the longitudinal beam elements 3a, 3b, one (preferably a single one) or several cross beams 2a are provided. The cross beams 2a are firmly connected to the longitudinal beams 3a, 3b and are preferably arranged orthogonally thereon. The cross beams 2a are arranged at a central position in the longitudinal direction of the longitudinal beam element 3a and are preferably welded. The cross beam 2a can have support struts extending diagonally from the sides at both of its longitudinal ends, which can contribute to increasing the mechanical strength of the frame 2.

[0076] Two parallel transport rails TS are provided on the installation plate 40. These transport rails TS are preferably designed as stainless steel rails and are fixed to rods ST with a flat profile (e.g. flat iron) (alternatively, these can also be designed as a single piece). The transport rails TS are preferably welded to these rods ST to ensure a secure connection. These flat rods ST thus form the base of the transport rails TS, which enable attachment to the installation plate 40. Holes are provided on each base. The base holes FB have corresponding holes in the installation plate 40. If the base holes FB are aligned with the holes in the installation plate 40, the respective transport rail TS can be connected to the installation plate 40. Connecting elements (e.g.pins and / or screws) are inserted, which connect the transport rail TS with the mounting plate 40.

[0077] Additionally, four locking elements 31, 32, 33, 34 are provided on the transport rails TS for clamping the wheels 50-53 of a rail vehicle to be transported. The locking elements 31, 32, 33, 34 thus make it possible to block the movement of the rail vehicle to be transported. The locking elements 31, 32, 33, 34 are arranged so as to be displaceable along the transport rails TS and can be locked in place via locking holes on the transport rails TS and / or the support plate 40. A locking element 31, 32, 33, 34 preferably comprises a clamping element K, which is connected to the main body H of the locking element 31, 32, 33, 34 in a longitudinally movable manner. The longitudinal position of the clamping element K can be adjusted via a threaded element G. In the variant shown, a screw is provided which is connected to the clamping element K at one end.

[0078] By turning this screw, the clamping element K can be moved to lock wheels 50-53 of the rail vehicle being transported. Each clamping element K also includes a wedge section KA with an inclined contact surface that can be contacted with a wheel 50-53 of the rail vehicle (not shown) to lock it. Furthermore, levers FH are provided on the locking elements 31, 32, 33, 34 to fix the position of the locking elements on the transport rail TS.

[0079] The support plate 40 has various fixing positions P1-P3 (more or fewer than three positions are possible) at which the transport rails TS can be fixed. These fixing positions P1-P3 are formed by holes, the fixing holes 41, in the support plate 40. This makes it possible to accommodate and transport rail vehicles with different track widths. The adjustability of the rail spacing of the transport rails TS thus enables the transport of a wide variety of rail vehicles or other transport goods.

[0080] To transport a rail vehicle or other goods with wheels, the rail vehicle is placed on the support plate 40 so that the wheels 50-53 rest on the transport rails TS, as shown in Fig. 4. All wheels 50-53 of a bogie of the rail vehicle to be transported are carried by the transport rails TS. A bogie, for example, has two wheel sets. However, more than two wheel sets can also be carried. The transport rails TS enable movement of the rail vehicle to be transported so that the rail vehicle can travel over the rail carriage / transport device 1 on the transport rails TS during loading or unloading. To ensure even safer transport of the rail vehicle or other transport goods, locking elements 31, 32, 33, 34 are provided on the transport rails TS. The locking elements 31, 32, 33, 34 are fixed to the transport rails TS using fastening elements.Wheelsets of a rail vehicle rest on the transport rails and can be secured using the locking elements 31, 32, 33, 34 in such a way that one roller is blocked via the transport rails TS. The wheelsets or their wheels 50-53 of the rail vehicle are thus blocked, enabling transport of the rail vehicle.

[0081] In Fig. Figure 2 shows a side view of the transport device 1. The longitudinal support element 3b has two triangular lower recesses 3b1, 3b2 arranged symmetrically to the transverse axis for receiving crossbeams QT. The recesses 3b1, 3b2 have a vertical V1 for contacting the crossbeam QT. The longitudinal distance between the lower recesses 3b1, 3b2 and the position of the wheels 50-53 of the rail vehicle to be picked up can be kept as small as possible in order to minimize the moments occurring when lifting the transport device 1.

[0082] In Fig. Figure 3 shows a plan view of the transport device 1. The transport rails TS are arranged parallel to the longitudinal beams 3a, 3b. The support plate 40 is mounted and fixed to the frame 2 via the three spaced-apart connecting sections. The fastening via three spaced-apart bearing points LS arranged in a triangle allows for torsional flexibility of the frame 2, so that the transport device 1 has a reduced tendency to derail, particularly during curves.

[0083] In Fig. 4 shows the transport device 1 or a part of a transport system, wherein intermediate elements Z (see also Fig. 5) are each connected to the end of the transport device 1 to allow the rail vehicle or goods to be transported to pass over. This configuration can be used for loading and unloading the transport device 1.

[0084] Crossbeams QT are provided on the tracks. Lifting cylinders (which are arranged invisibly between the crossbeams QT and the support plate 40) can be provided on these crossbeams QT to raise the support plate 40. By raising the support plate 40, it is possible to raise the transport rails TS to the level of the transport rails TS of the intermediate element Z (as Fig. 4 shows, above the wheel flanges SK). The transport rails TS of the installation plate 40 and the intermediate element Z can thus be arranged congruently to enable a smooth crossing. The transport device 1 can then be loaded independently of loading systems, such as a crane, since the rail vehicles to be transported only have to be driven / rolled onto the transport device 1 via the transport rails TS. Further transport devices 1 can also be provided subsequent to the intermediate elements Z in order to form a transport system comprising at least two transport devices 1 and one intermediate element Z (not shown). At the end of the intermediate element Z or of the transport system, for example, a ramp can be provided to enable the rail vehicle to be transported to drive on / off.

[0085] In Fig. 5 shows a detailed view of the intermediate element Z. The intermediate element Z comprises further transport rails TS, which, like the transport rails TS of the transport device 1, can be arranged to be adjustable in order to adjust the track width. The vertical supports ZV are connected to a crossbeam ZQ to form a further frame comprising at least two vertical supports ZV and a crossbeam ZQ, which holds the support plate ZA of the intermediate element Z. To reduce the weight of the structure, the support plate ZA can have two recesses, which can be arranged in the region of the center point of the support plate ZA. The transport rails TS can be fastened, for example, via the fixing holes ZF.

[0086] To load a rail vehicle (such as a locomotive) or other transport goods using the transport devices 1 according to the invention, the intermediate elements Z are preferably first provided between the transport devices 1. For this purpose, an intermediate element Z is provided in the connection area of the transport devices 1 and connected to them via screw connections. Thus, an intermediate element Z is provided between two adjacent transport devices 1 to bridge the distances between the transport devices 1. The intermediate element Z has a support plate ZA, which is arranged above the wheels RT of the transport device 1. Transport rails TS can be provided on the support plate ZA.

[0087] In the next step, the support plates 40 of the transport devices 1 are preferably raised by lifting cylinders until the transport rails TS of the support plate 40 align with the transport rails TS of the intermediate element Z in the direction of the lifting height (or, for example, if no transport rails are used or provided, the two plates 40, ZA are arranged at the same height). It is then possible to load or unload the transport devices 1 via the transport rails TS.

[0088] Furthermore, the Fig. 4 are inserted into the frame as blocking beams BB in order to enable a vertical downward movement of the support plate 40 after the support plate 40 has been lifted via the lifting cylinders by inserting the blocking elements BB into the further recesses 3b3 of the longitudinal support elements 3a, 3b.

[0089] In Fig. 6A shows a first detailed view of the longitudinal beam element 3b. The longitudinal beam element 3b has a first mounting section L1 in the center, in which the frame extension (pin of the frame) can be provided. A bearing point LS with the support plate 40 can be formed on the mounting section L1 by providing the frame extensions (pins of the frame). Via these bearing points LS, it is possible to mount the support plate 40 on the frame. To form the bearing point LS, the pin is advantageously inserted into the opening of the mounting section L1 and welded to the longitudinal beam element 3b. A part of the pin protrudes from the surface of the longitudinal beam element 3b and can thus form the bearing point LS with the bearing surface.

[0090] In Fig. 6B shows a detailed view of the opening of the mounting section L1. The characteristic contour of this opening preferably also corresponds to the contour of the frame extension, which is inserted into the opening and welded to the longitudinal member 3b. The opening has a concave upper surface L1a. The bearing surface of the convex frame extension (convex frame pin) is connected to this upper surface L1a. This surface forms a bearing surface of the first bearing point comprising the first extension L1Z (first bearing pin), as is also shown in Fig. 6F. The opening in the first mounting section L1 also has a vertical surface L1b as well as an inclined surface L1c and a horizontal lower surface L1d. This configuration of the contour of the opening in the first mounting section L1 of the longitudinal member element 3b advantageously makes it possible to place the frame extension in the longitudinal member element 3b and to weld it to the longitudinal member element 3b. Advantageously, the frame extension can be pushed through the opening of the first mounting section L1 until the surfaces on the outside of the longitudinal member element 3b are flat, whereupon the frame extension can be welded to the longitudinal member element 3b.

[0091] The Fig. 6A and Fig. The first mounting section L1 shown in Figure 6B is the mounting section for receiving the first extension L1Z. Characteristic of this first extension L1Z, which is part of the first bearing point, is the convex bearing surface on the upper side of the extension (also called frame extension or frame pin). This convex bearing surface makes it possible to form a bearing point LS with a bearing surface Z1a (or bearing point) of the support plate (the support element 40Z1 of the support plate 40), which has a concave bearing surface Z1a, such that a rotational movement about a transverse axis of the transport device remains possible. Thus, this bearing design releases a degree of freedom to enable movement of the support plate 40 relative to the frame 2.On the opposite longitudinal beam element 3a, two spaced-apart frame extensions are provided, which can be contacted with the pins of the support plate 40 with a flat bearing surface (support element 40Z2 with a flat bearing surface Z1a). The support elements 40Z can be part of the receiving sections or form them. The support or support plate 40 is thus supported via three bearing points LS. This supports or ensures the previously described connection flexibility.

[0092] In Fig. 6C shows a further view of the longitudinal member element 3b, wherein the further recesses 3b3 are shown as circular openings in the longitudinal member element 3b. These are arranged symmetrically. The longitudinal member element 3b has a first contact area 2ab1 and a second contact area 2ab2 for contacting, in this example, two cross members 2a. In these contact areas, the cross members 2a are preferably welded to the longitudinal member element 3b. Preferably, the cross members 2a (if two cross members 2a are to be provided) are arranged symmetrically about an axis of symmetry of the longitudinal member element 3b. In this respect, the opposite longitudinal member element 3a also has the same design. The first mounting section L1 for forming the first bearing point LS is again shown in the longitudinal member element 3b.To guide the support plate 40 over the support elements 40Z1, 40Z2, which are firmly connected to the support plate 40, a guide is provided in the longitudinal support element 3b and in the opposite longitudinal support element 3a. In . Fig. This guide is shown in Figure 6C. The guide L1F is provided in the area of the first assembly section L1 and runs from the opening of the assembly section L1 in the vertical direction of the longitudinal support element 3b. The guide surfaces of the guide L1F preferably run parallel to each other and enable the insertion of the support elements 40Z of the mounting plate 40 from top to bottom - this allows them to be held later along the longitudinal and transverse direction of the transport device, preferably in a form-fitting manner. Preferably, all three bearing points LS have such an optional guide L1F (in Fig. 6E these can be seen above the processes L2Z, L3Z) and therefore preferably differ only with regard to the provided cones or processes.

[0093] In Fig. Figure 6D shows a top view of the frame 2 of the transport device 1. The longitudinal support elements 3a and 3b are arranged opposite one another and are connected centrally via the cross members 2a. Preferably, the cross members 2a are welded to the longitudinal support elements 3a and 3b. The cross members 2a of the frame 2 are preferably formed as tubes with a rectangular cross-section, with rounded corners. Fig. 6D also shows the second and third bearing points LS. The second bearing point LS is located at the second assembly section L2, and the third bearing point LS is located at the third assembly section L3. These bearing points LS each have an extension (second extension L2Z and third extension L3Z). This pin, also referred to as a frame extension, protrudes from the longitudinal beam element 3a, specifically in the direction of the opposite longitudinal beam element 3b. The second frame extension L2Z and the third frame extension L3Z each have a bearing surface designed as a flat surface. The flat bearing surfaces of the second support element 40Z2 of the mounting plate 40 can be arranged on this flat surface. The flat bearing surfaces make it possible to provide a bearing that does not allow (prevents) a rotational movement about a longitudinal axis of the pin.Moments can thus be absorbed at the two bearing points LS, which are shown in the second and third mounting sections L2, L3. The second extension L2Z and the third extension L3Z are preferably designed as rectangular or square pins that are inserted into the provided openings in the longitudinal beam element 3a and welded to the longitudinal beam element 3a.

[0094] In Fig. 6E shows another perspective view of the frame 2, wherein the two cross members 2a connect the longitudinal member elements 3a and 3b. Furthermore, the protruding frame extensions, namely the second frame extension L2Z and the third frame extension L3Z, are visible. Additionally, guide surfaces vertical to the second and third bearing extensions L2Z and L3Z are shown, which extend upwards, in the vertical direction, of the longitudinal member element 3a. These guides allow the insertion of the support elements of the support plate 40 into the frame 2, wherein the support surfaces of the bearing points LS are provided to absorb the transverse forces in the direction of the tracks. The pin arranged on the opposite longitudinal member element 3b (namely the first frame extension L1Z) is in Fig. 6F. Unlike the second and third frame extensions L2Z, L3Z, the first frame extension L1Z has a convex (or alternatively a concave) bearing surface for moment-free mounting of the support plate 40. When the support plate 40 is mounted on the frame 2, the transverse forces are thus absorbed via all three bearing points LS. The moments are only absorbed via the second and third bearing points. Thus, a longitudinal member 3a is provided which has two frame extensions L2Z and L3Z, each of which has flat bearing surfaces, and on the opposite longitudinal member element 3b, a first frame extension L1Z is provided which has a concave / convex bearing surface. By releasing this degree of rotational freedom on the opposite longitudinal member element 3b, it is possible to ensure the advantageous softness of the frame 2 described above. This also applies if the support plate 40 is mounted on this frame 2 orin the guides of the bearing points LS of the frame 2.

[0095] In the Fig. 7A and Fig. 7B shows the support elements 40Z1-2 or parts of the support elements of the mounting plate 40, which can form parts of the receiving section or can form it entirely. Fig. 7A shows the support element 40Z1 with the concave bearing surface Z1a for contacting the correspondingly shaped bearing surface in the first bearing point LS. The support element 40Z1 thus has a bearing surface that, together with the bearing surface of the first bearing extension L1Z of the frame 2, forms a concave / convex contact geometry, enabling movement along the longitudinal axis of the journal to provide moment-free support. The support element 40Z1 also has side surfaces Z1b and a rear connection area Z1c.

[0096] In Fig. 7B shows the support element 40Z2 as used for the second and third bearing points LS. The bearing surface Z2d is flat, with additional guide surfaces Z2a and Z2b being provided on the sides for vertical guidance. The support element 40Z2 can be provided on the support plate 40 via a rear connection area Z2c. Preferably, the support elements are connected directly to the support plate 40 or arranged on optional longitudinal beams or additional beams 21, 22 that are firmly connected to the support plate 40. These beams 21, 22 preferably run parallel to the longitudinal beam elements 3a, 3b, as is the case with the Fig. 1 and Fig. 3. Further preferably, the three support elements 40Z1 and 40Z2 are welded to these additional supports 21, 22 of the mounting plate 40.

[0097] In summary, it can be stated that the transport device 1 enables increased flexibility in the rail-bound transport of goods, in particular rail vehicles, since an increased travel speed is made possible while ensuring derailment safety and, in addition, the loading and unloading and fastening of the goods to the transport device is simplified due to the installation plate.
