Description

[0001] The disclosure relates to a method for producing a self-closing foil sheath wound onto at least one conductor of a cable assembly and to a cable assembly with such a foil sheath. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a forming tool for producing a foil strip forming a self-closing foil sheath in a cable assembly.

[0002] In general, cable assemblies comprise at least one conductor intended for the transmission of information or energy, which is encased in an insulating material. The conductor can be, for example, an electrical conductor or an optical fiber. To protect the conductor from interference, it and the surrounding insulating material are typically enclosed by a cable shield. The shield forms an electrically conductive protective sheath that shields the conductor from both the emission and emission of electromagnetic waves and thus improves its electromagnetic compatibility.

[0003] Cable shielding is typically divided into braided and foil shielding. Braided shielding consists of wires joined together to form a braid, making it particularly suitable for shielding lower-frequency electromagnetic waves. Foil shielding, on the other hand, consists of a foil-like material that completely encloses the cable conductor and the insulation, and is preferably used for shielding higher-frequency electromagnetic waves. Cable configurations are known in which a braided and a foil shield are arranged in layers, together forming the cable shield.

[0004] DE 716 618 A discloses a method for applying reinforcing strips to telecommunications cables. The reinforcing strips are made from annealed cable strip. The strip is first wound into a helical shape and applied to the cable under temporary elastic stress. The helical shape is intended to be stress-free as a result of the annealing. The reinforcing strip is wound onto a mandrel, the diameter of which can be equal to or different from the diameter of the cable, as required. The coil slides over the mandrel and is simultaneously annealed in the annealing zone. Subsequently, it is unwound from the mandrel and wound onto a supply drum. From the supply drum, the coil is then applied to the cable, with the drum moving around the cable while the strip is unwound.

[0005] GB 1 448 819 A discloses a method for applying a magnetic tape to a cable. The magnetic tape is unwound from a spool to be applied to the cable. The spool is held at an angle relative to the cable. The windings of the magnetic tape overlap each other, so that one winding of the tape can be fixed to the next.

[0006] JP H08 - 274 488 A, US 4 946 722 A, US 2014 / 0 255 627 A1 and JP H01 - 135 997 A each disclose a cable sheath which, in an unloaded state, is curved along a longitudinal axis and can be opened by force to introduce a conductor into the cable sheath.

[0007] Cable arrangements are also known in which a foil tape is wound onto at least one conductor to form a foil sheath around the at least one conductor. Such a foil sheath can fulfill various functions. For example, the foil sheath can act as a fixing element to hold several conductors in place relative to each other. Alternatively or additionally, the foil sheath can act as an insulator and / or a foil shield around the at least one conductor.

[0008] When handling cable assemblies, for example during cable assembly, it may be desirable for the foil sheathing to remain in place after the removal of the outer cable jacket and / or braid. In other words, the foil sheathing should retain its position relative to the at least one conductor even after the removal of the cable jacket and / or braid. Accordingly, prior art proposes cable assemblies in which the foil sheathing is fixed by means of an adhesive or other fixing agent.

[0009] The invention is based on the objective of providing a cable assembly comprising a conductor and a foil sheath enclosing the conductor, which has a simpler structure compared to known cable assembly designs and reliably prevents the foil sheath from detaching from the conductor. Furthermore, the invention is based on the objective of providing a method and a tool for producing such a foil sheath in the cable assembly.

[0010] These problems are solved by a method for producing a self-closing foil sheath in a cable arrangement with the features of claim 1, a cable arrangement with such a foil sheath with the features of claim 13 and a forming tool for producing such a foil sheath with the features of claim 14.

[0011] A method for producing a self-closing foil sheath wound onto at least one conductor of a cable assembly is provided. The term "self-closing" here refers to a structural property of the foil sheath that allows it to assume and / or maintain the position wound around the conductor without the influence of additional fixing agents, such as an adhesive, a braid, and / or a cable jacket.

[0012] The at least one conductor of the cable arrangement can, for example, describe a single conductor, several single conductors, and / or a conductor bundle within the meaning of the disclosure. A conductor can accordingly describe at least one cable core or a structure comprising at least one cable core and an insulator surrounding the cable core.

[0013] The method can be used in the manufacture of various cable assemblies. Preferably, the method is used in the manufacture of cable assemblies that have a conductor with a foil sheath enclosing the conductor longitudinally. In this context, a foil sheath is understood to be a layer of a foil-like material arranged around and preferably enclosing the conductor along its longitudinal direction. Depending on the function to be fulfilled by the foil sheath, the foil-like material can be a conductive material, for example, a metallic material, or a non-conductive material, for example, a plastic material.

[0014] For example, this method can be used to create a foil sheath in an STP (shielded twisted pair) cable. STP cables typically comprise several individual conductors with a copper conductor and an surrounding insulator, which are twisted together in pairs and shielded by a foil sheath. More precisely, this method can create a foil sheath around each of the conductor pairs in the STP cable. The foil sheath can be made of an electrically conductive material, thus forming the foil shield around the conductor pairs.

[0015] The process comprises a step of providing an elastically deformable film strip that is curved in a plane of the film strip in an unloaded or exposed state. An unloaded state, in this context, is understood to be a state of the film strip in which it is not elastically deformed. Conversely, an exposed state of the film strip is understood to be a state in which the film strip is not in contact with the conductor to be wrapped or any other component.

[0016] In a further step of the process, the foil tape is wound onto the at least one conductor to form the foil sheath surrounding the conductor. In this state, the foil tape forming the sheath is elastically deformed radially outwards and thus subjected to radial stress in the direction of the conductor. In other words, in the state wound onto the conductor, a spring force induced by its elastic deflection or deformation acts on the foil sheath. This spring force has the effect of pressing the foil sheath against the conductor, thereby holding it in the wound position in a self-closing manner.

[0017] By creating a foil sheath around the conductor in this manner, it can be ensured that even after the wrapped conductor is exposed—i.e., after removing any cable jacket and / or braid enclosing the foil sheath—the foil sheath will not detach or unravel on its own. Compared to known cable assemblies where, for example, the foil sheath is fixed with an adhesive, additional fixing agents for attaching the foil sheath to the conductor can be dispensed with. Accordingly, cable assemblies with a simple design can be produced using this method, since no additional fixing agents are required besides the self-closing foil sheath. Furthermore, a foil sheath produced in this way allows it to be removed from the conductor without damage. In other words, a foil strip that has come loose from the cable can be wound back onto a cable and is therefore reusable.

[0018] The elastically deformable film strip provided in the process preferably forms a tubular body in its unloaded or exposed state. In this context, a tubular body is understood to be an elongated hollow body whose outer surface is formed by the film strip. The tubular body preferably has a substantially closed outer surface. This outer surface is preferably formed by the film strip in a spirally arranged state. Alternatively, the film strip can be wound longitudinally for this purpose. In other words, the film strip overlaps at least section by section, with the superimposed layers not being offset relative to each other in a longitudinal direction of the tubular body thus formed. A cross-section of the tubular body preferably has a substantially circular, elliptical, or polygonal outer contour.

[0019] The tubular body preferably has a smaller cross-sectional diameter than the at least one conductor. This ensures that, when the foil tape is wound onto the conductor, it is elastically deformed compared to its unloaded or exposed state, thus generating a holding force on the foil sheath formed by the foil tape. More precisely, the largest diameter of the tubular body can be smaller than the smallest diameter of the conductor to be wrapped.

[0020] The film strip, curved in its plane, preferably exhibits a simple curvature in its unloaded or exposed state. In other words, a surface of the film strip can, in its unloaded or exposed state, have a first principal curvature k1 in a first curvature direction with a value of 0. Conversely, a second principal curvature k2 of the surface of the film strip can have a value k2 greater than 0 in a second curvature direction. The second curvature direction of the second principal curvature is preferably perpendicular to the first curvature direction of the first principal curvature. Preferably, the film strip has a value k2 greater than 2 / D in its unloaded or exposed state. L on, where D LThis describes the diameter of the conductor to be wrapped. In other words, in the second principal direction of curvature, the foil tape has a greater curvature than the conductor, i.e., a curvature with a smaller radius of curvature. This design of the foil tape ensures elastic deformation in the wound state and the resulting holding force on the foil tape.

[0021] Alternatively or additionally, the foil strip can have a double curvature in the plane. In other words, in the unloaded or exposed state of the foil strip, each surface of the foil strip exhibits a first and second principal curvature with a value other than 0, preferably greater than 0.

[0022] In a further development, the foil tape can be supplied in such a way that a section of the foil tape to be wound onto the cable exhibits a substantially constant curvature in its unloaded or exposed state. More precisely, the section can have a continuous curvature in its plane along the same axis or direction of curvature and be provided with a substantially constant radius of curvature. In this way, it can be ensured that a uniform holding force is applied to the foil sheathing.

[0023] As described above, the foil sheathing produced by the method can fulfill various functions within the cable assembly. For example, the foil sheathing can serve as foil shielding. For this purpose, the foil sheathing can comprise an electrically conductive material. Alternatively or additionally, the foil sheathing can act as a fixing element, for example, to fix two or more conductors relative to each other. Alternatively or additionally, the foil sheathing can form an insulator arranged around a cable conductor. For this purpose, the foil sheathing can comprise an electrically non-conductive material, such as a plastic material. Accordingly, the foil tape provided in the method can comprise a plastic material, in particular polypropylene or polyethylene terephthalate.

[0024] In a further development, the foil tape can be multilayered and comprise a first layer of a plastic material, in particular polypropylene or polyethylene terephthalate, and a second layer of a metallic material, in particular aluminum. The first layer can thus form an insulating layer that is electrically non-conductive. The second layer can be an electrically conductive layer and thus form a foil shield for the cable.

[0025] In this method, the provision of the film strip, which is curved in its plane, can be achieved by a single step of plastically deforming a film strip preform. The film strip preform preferably has a smaller or no curvature in its plane compared to the film strip in an unloaded or exposed state. The plastic deformation of the film strip preform is preferably carried out by moving the section of the film strip preform to be wound onto the cable, with a surface to be placed against the cable, over a forming edge of a forming tool. The forming edge of the forming tool is preferably designed as a sharp edge. For example, the forming edge can have an edge angle of 60°. The edge angle can also have an angle between 90° and 10°. Furthermore, the forming edge has an edge radius that is less than 1 mm. For example, the edge radius can have a value between 1 µm and 100 µm.

[0026] By plastically deforming the film strip preform by moving it along a die edge, the provision of the film strip, curved in its plane, can be carried out in a continuous process step. For example, the movement of the film strip preform along the die edge can take place immediately before the film strip is wound onto a cable. The basic structure of a manufacturing tool for winding a film strip onto a cable is known to those skilled in the art from the prior art and is not described in detail in the present disclosure. Such a manufacturing tool can be modified with a die described above based on the present invention. In this way, a method for producing the self-closing film sheath can be implemented in a less complex manner within a continuous process for winding a film strip known from the prior art.

[0027] The plastic deformation step of the film strip preform can be carried out by applying a normal force to the film strip preform in the direction of the die edge. The normal force acting on the film strip preform in the direction of the die edge can be adjusted depending on the curvature to be formed in the plane of the film strip, in particular the radius of curvature to be formed. Specifically, the normal force acting on the film strip preform can be variably adjusted in this process. In other words, the normal force can be adjusted depending on the desired degree of curvature in the plane of the film strip. To form a greater curvature in the plane of the film strip, the normal force on the film strip preform in the area of the die edge can be increased.

[0028] To achieve a desired curvature in the plane of the film strip, the geometric design of the forming edge can be adjusted accordingly, either alternatively or additionally. In particular, the edge radius and / or the edge angle of the forming edge can be adjusted. The forming edge can be a straight edge. A straight forming edge can be designed to create a simple curvature in the plane of the film strip, especially a curvature around an axis of curvature parallel to the forming edge. Alternatively, the forming edge can have a curved shape. Such a forming edge can be designed to create a double curvature in the plane of the film strip. For example, a curvature in the plane of the film strip can be created with a first curvature direction parallel to a direction of extension of the forming edge and a second curvature direction perpendicular to the first curvature direction.

[0029] In a further development, it can be provided that the forming edge of the forming tool can be adjusted variably. For example, the forming tool can have several different forming edges, whereby the film strip semi-finished product can be moved over any one of the several forming edges in the process.

[0030] The plastic deformation step of the film strip preform can be carried out such that the film strip preform exhibits an angle between 90° and 20°, preferably 90° or 45°, relative to the mold edge, with the angle between the mold edge and the direction of movement of the film strip preform at the mold edge. The angle between the mold edge and the direction of movement of the film strip preform as it moves over the mold edge influences the degree of curvature formed in the film strip, in particular the direction of curvature relative to the film strip. If, during the plastic forming step, an angle of 90° is set between the die edge and the direction of movement of the film strip blank, a film strip can be produced that is wound lengthwise in its unloaded or exposed state, with the superimposed layers not offset relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the resulting tubular body. A film strip produced in this way is not spirally shaped in its unloaded or exposed state. However, if an angle of 90° is set between the die edge and the direction of movement of the film strip blank, a film strip is produced that, due to its curvature, forms a spirally shaped body in its unloaded or exposed state.

[0031] The step of plastically deforming the film strip semi-finished product is preferably carried out in such a way that the angle between the mold edge and the direction of movement of the film semi-finished product at the mold edge can be variably adjusted depending on the curvature to be formed in the plane of the film strip, in particular a direction of curvature to be formed relative to the film strip.

[0032] The adjustment of the foil strip can be carried out, in particular, depending on the angle of inclination of the foil strip in its wound-up state on the cable. The angle between the forming edge and the direction of movement of the foil strip semi-finished product is preferably set such that it essentially corresponds to the angle of inclination of the foil strip in its wound-up state on the cable.

[0033] The step of winding the foil tape onto the conductor is carried out such that the foil tape is wound onto the conductor in a spiral. According to an unclaimed example, the step of winding the foil tape onto the conductor is carried out such that the foil tape is wound onto the conductor lengthwise. A foil tape wound lengthwise has a pitch angle of 0° in the wound state. In the case that the foil tape is wound lengthwise, a foil tape is preferably provided which, in the unloaded or exposed state, comprises superimposed layers that are not offset relative to each other in the longitudinal direction. A foil tape wound in a spiral has a pitch angle other than 0 and preferably a pitch angle of 45°.To create a closed foil sheathing, the step of winding the foil tape onto the cable can be carried out in such a way that the edge areas of the foil tape overlap in the wound state.

[0034] Furthermore, a cable assembly is provided comprising at least one conductor and a self-closing foil sheath wound around the conductor. The foil sheath is formed by a foil strip which, when wound onto the conductor, is elastically deformed radially outwards and thus subjected to radial stress in the direction of the conductor. The foil sheath is preferably a foil sheath produced by the preceding method.

[0035] Furthermore, a forming tool is provided for producing a foil strip forming a self-closing foil sheath in a cable assembly. The forming tool has a base body with at least two forming edges on its outer surface and is configured to selectively position one of the forming edges such that a foil strip preform can be moved over it in order to produce the foil strip by means of plastic deformation of the foil strip preform. The foil strip is elastically deformable and curved in a plane of the foil strip in an unloaded or exposed state.

[0036] The basic body is preferably prism-shaped and has at least three defined edges formed on its lateral surface. For example, the prism-shaped basic body can be in the form of a right prism with a base in the form of a polygon, in particular in the form of an equilateral triangle.

[0037] Although some aspects and features have been described only in relation to the method for producing a self-closing foil sheath wound on at least one conductor of a cable assembly, these can apply accordingly to the cable assembly and / or the forming tool as well as to their further developments.

[0038] The present revelation will be further explained using figures. These figures schematically depict: Fig. 1 to 4 a method for producing a self-closing foil sheath wound on at least one conductor of a cable arrangement, Fig. 5 a cable assembly comprising a self-closing foil sheath, and Fig. 6 a forming tool for producing a self-closing foil casing.

[0039] The following refers to Fig. 1 to 4 a method for producing a self-closing foil sheathing 14 wound on at least one line 10 of a cable arrangement 12, as in Fig. 4 shown, described.

[0040] In a first step of the process, an elastically deformable foil strip 16 is provided, which is curved in a plane of the foil strip 16 in an unloaded or exposed state. Fig. 1 and Fig. Figure 2 illustrates this procedural step, whereby Fig. 1 a perspective view of a device 18 for providing the foil tape 16 and Fig. 2 a top view of the in Fig. 1. Device shown.

[0041] Fig. Figure 3 shows a film strip 16 provided by the device 18 in an exposed state. In this state, the film strip 16 forms a tubular body 20. More precisely, the film strip 16 is arranged spirally in the exposed state, forming a lateral surface of the tubular body 20. The cross-section of the tubular body 20 is essentially provided with a circular outer contour.

[0042] The tubular body 20 has a smaller cross-sectional diameter than the at least one conduit 10. More precisely, the tubular base body 20 has a substantially constant outer diameter D1, which is smaller than the outer diameter D2 of the conduit 10. This ensures that, in the state of the foil tape 16 being wound onto the conduit 10, as described in Fig. Figure 4 shows that the foil strip 16 is elastically deformed compared to the unloaded or exposed state, thus generating a holding force F induced by this deformation. H acts on the foil covering 14 formed by the foil strip 16.

[0043] The following refers to Fig. 1 and Fig. Section 2 describes in more detail the process step of providing the film strip 16. The film strip 16 is provided by a step of plastically deforming a film strip preform 16'. The plastic deformation of the film strip preform 16' is carried out such that a section of the film strip preform 16', which is to be wound onto the line 10, is moved over a forming edge 22 of a forming tool 24 with a surface to be placed on the line. The forming edge 22 of the forming tool 24 is designed in the form of a sharp edge and has an edge angle of 60°.

[0044] The process step of plastically deforming the film strip semi-finished product 16', carried out by means of the device 18, is continuous. For this purpose, the film strip semi-finished product 16' is unwound from a supply roll (not shown) and moved over the forming edge 22 by means of deflection rollers 26. The film strip semi-finished product 16' is thereby subjected to a normal force F acting in the direction of the forming edge 22. N The normal force F acting on the foil strip semi-finished product 16' in the direction of the mold edge 22 is applied. N The curvature to be formed in the plane of the film strip 16, in particular the radius of curvature to be formed, is variably adjustable. This can be achieved, for example, by moving the forming tool 24 up or down relative to the deflection rollers 26 along its vertical axis Z.

[0045] To set a desired curvature in the plane of the foil strip 16, the geometric design of the forming edge 22 can additionally be adjusted. In particular, an edge radius and / or an edge angle of the forming edge 22 can be set accordingly. For this purpose, a forming tool 24 with several forming edges 22 can be provided, as shown in Fig. Figure 6 shows the film strip semi-finished product 16' being moved selectively over one of the several edges 22. In this embodiment, the forming tool 24 has a straight forming edge 22, which is specifically designed to create a simple curvature in the plane of the film strip 16. In a further embodiment, the forming tool 24 has different radii on the several, e.g., three, edges 22. Thus, one forming tool can be used for different films, for which the different radii are set.

[0046] The plastic deformation step of the foil strip preform 16' is carried out such that the foil strip preform 16' has an angle W of approximately 45° between the forming edge 22 and a direction of movement A of the foil strip preform 16' at the forming edge 22. An angle of approximately 45° is advantageous with regard to the frequency range often present in such lines. In the device 18 shown here, the angle W between the forming edge 22 and the direction of movement A of the foil strip preform 16' is variably adjustable depending on the curvature to be formed in the plane of the foil strip 16, in particular the direction of curvature to be formed relative to the foil strip 16. This can be achieved by a pivoting movement of the forming tool 24 about its vertical axis Z relative to the foil strip preform 16', as shown in Fig. 1 indicated by an arrow B. The adjustment of the angle W is carried out in particular as a function of a slope angle S of the foil strip 16 in the state wound on the line 10, as shown in Fig. 4 shown. More precisely, the angle W between the forming edge 22 and the direction of movement A of the foil strip semi-finished product 16' is adjusted such that it essentially corresponds to the inclination angle S of the foil strip 16 in the state wound on the line 10.

[0047] The one in the Fig. 1 and Fig. The process step shown in Figure 2 enables the section of the foil tape 16 to be wound onto the line 10 to have a substantially constant curvature in its exposed state. In other words, as shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the section of the foil strip 16 to be laid on is continuously curved in its plane along the same axis of curvature and with a substantially constant radius of curvature. The axis of curvature corresponds to the longitudinal axis of the tubular body 20.

[0048] In the process shown here, the film strip 16 and, accordingly, the film strip semi-finished product 16' are formed in multiple layers, wherein a first layer comprises a plastic material, in particular polyethylene terephthalate, and a second layer comprises a metallic material, in particular aluminum. The step of plastically deforming the film strip semi-finished product 16' is carried out such that the first layer is guided in contact over the forming edge 22.

[0049] In a further step of the process, the provided foil strip 16 is wound onto the at least one conductor 10 to form the foil sheath 14 enclosing the conductor. This is done in such a way that the foil strip 16 forming the foil sheath 14, when wound onto the conductor 10, is elastically deformed radially outwards and thus subjected to a radial load in the direction of the conductor 10. In other words, when wound onto the conductor 10, the holding force F induced by the elastic deflection or deformation of the foil sheath 14 acts on it. H This has the effect that the foil sheathing 14 is pressed against the conductor 10 and is thereby held in the wound-up position in a self-closing manner on the conductor 10.

[0050] The step of winding the foil tape 16 onto the conductor 10 is carried out such that the foil tape 16 is wound spirally onto the conductor 10. The wound foil tape has a pitch angle of approximately 45°. To create a closed foil sheath 14, the winding is further carried out in such a way that the edge areas of the foil tape 16 overlap in the wound state.

[0051] Fig. Figure 5 shows a cable assembly 12 in the form of an STP (shielded twisted pair) cable with exposed conductor strands. The cable assembly 12 comprises several individual conductors 10, which are twisted together in pairs and shielded by means of a foil shield. The foil shield around each pair of twisted individual conductors 10 was produced using the method described above. The foil shield is formed by the foil strip 16, which forms the self-closing foil sheath 14. In its wound state, the foil strip 16 is elastically deformed radially outwards and thus subjected to radial stress in the direction of the individual conductors 10.

[0052] Fig. Figure 6 shows a forming tool 24 for producing the film strip 16 that forms the self-closing film sheathing 14. The forming tool 24 has a prismatic base body 34 with three forming edges 22 on its lateral surface. The prismatic base body 34 comprises a base in the form of an equilateral triangle. The forming tool is configured to selectively position one of the forming edges 22 such that the film strip preform 16' can be moved over it in order to produce the film strip 16 by means of plastic deformation of the film strip preform 16'. The film strip 16 produced in this way is elastically deformable and, in an unloaded or exposed state, curved in a plane of the film strip 16. The forming tool 24 shown here can be used in the Fig. 1 and Fig.The process step shown in section 2 is applied. In order to selectively position one of the forming edges relative to the film strip semi-finished product 16' to be formed, the forming tool 24 is preferably designed to be pivoted about its longitudinal axis L.

[8] Method according to one of claims 5 to 7, wherein an edge angle and / or an edge radius of the forming edge (22) of the forming tool (24) is variably adjustable depending on the curvature to be formed in the plane of the film strip (16). [9] Method according to one of claims 5 to 8, wherein in the step of plastically deforming the film strip semi-finished product (16'), the film strip semi-finished product (16') is moved relative to the forming edge (22) such that an angle (W) between the forming edge (22) and a direction of movement (A) of the film strip semi-finished product (16') at the forming edge (22) has a value between 90° and 20°. [10] Method according to claim 9, wherein the angle (W) between the forming edge (22) and the direction of movement (A) of the semi-finished film (16') at the forming edge (22) is variably adjustable depending on the curvature to be formed in the plane of the film strip (16). [11] Method according to claim 9 or 10, wherein the angle (W) between the forming edge (22) and the direction of movement (A) of the semi-finished film strip (16') at the forming edge (22) is set such that it corresponds to a pitch angle (S) of the film strip (16) in the state wound on the at least one line (10). [12] Method according to one of claims 1 to 11, wherein edge regions of the film strip (16) overlap in the wound state. [13] Cable arrangement (12) with at least one line (10) and a self-closing foil sheathing (14) wound around the at least one line (10), wherein a foil strip (16) forming the foil sheathing (14) is spirally curved in a plane of the foil strip (16) in an unloaded or exposed state and is spirally wound on the at least one line (10) in a state wound on the at least one line (10) and is further elastically deformed radially outwards and is thus loaded radially in the direction of the at least one line (10). [14] Forming tool (24) for producing a film strip (16) forming a self-closing film sheathing (14) in a cable arrangement (12), which film strip has a base body (34) with at least two forming edges (22) formed on its lateral surface and is designed to selectively position one of the forming edges (22) in such a way that a film strip semi-finished product (16') can be moved over it in order to produce the film strip (16) by means of plastic deformation of the film strip semi-finished product (16'), wherein the film strip (16) is elastically deformable and, in an unloaded or exposed state, is spirally curved in a plane of the film strip (16). [15] Molding tool according to claim 14, wherein the base body (34) is prism-shaped and has at least three mold edges (22) formed on its lateral surface.
