Description

[0001] A spiral compressor comprises a stationary spiral and a rotating spiral.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Fig. Figure 1 is a schematic partial cross-sectional view of a spiral compressor according to an embodiment of the present disclosure; Fig. Figure 2 is an enlarged partial cross-sectional view of a valve and associated parts, shown in Fig. 1 are shown; Fig. Figure 3 is a schematic perspective view of a part of the in Fig. 1 spiral compressor shown; Fig. 4 is a partially enlarged perspective view of the in Fig. 3 valve and associated parts shown; Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the in Fig. 1 spiral compressor shown; and Fig. Figure 6 is a partially enlarged cross-sectional view of the [structure]. Fig. Part A (the valve and associated parts) is shown in section 5.

[0017] The embodiments of the present disclosure are described below in conjunction with the drawings.

[0018] Referring to the Fig. According to the embodiments described in this disclosure, the spiral compressor comprises, as described in Figures 1 to 6: a stationary spiral 10, a rotating spiral 20, a channel 6, and a valve 5. The stationary spiral 10 has an end plate 11 and a stationary spiral winding 12 extending from the end plate 11. The rotating spiral 20 has a rotating spiral winding 21. The rotating spiral winding 21 and the stationary spiral winding 12 are connected to each other to form a plurality of compression chambers 3 for compressing a medium. The channel 6 is formed in the end plate 11 of the stationary spiral 10, and the channel 6 leads to one of the plurality of compression chambers 3.The valve 5 is provided at the end plate 11 of the stationary spiral 10 and is designed to open when the pressure in the compression chamber 3 exceeds the predetermined pressure threshold, allowing the medium in the compression chamber 3 to flow out of the compression chamber 3 through the channel 6. The compression chamber 3 can be the radially outermost compression chamber 3 of a plurality of compression chambers 3. The predetermined pressure threshold can be set according to the difference between the pressure in the compression chamber 3 corresponding to the valve 5 and the pressure at the inlet of the spiral compressor.

[0019] According to the Fig. In the embodiments described in this disclosure, the valve 5 comprises, as described in Figures 2 to 4, a valve seat 51, a valve element 52, and a spring 53. The valve seat 51 is arranged on the side of the stationary spiral 10 facing away from the stationary spiral winding 12, and an opening of the channel 6 is formed in the valve seat 51. The valve element 52 is configured to open and close the opening of the channel 6. The spring 53 is configured to exert a compressive force on the valve element 52 in the direction of the valve seat 51. The elastic force of the spring 53 is selected according to the predetermined pressure threshold value mentioned above, such that when the pressure in the compression chamber 3, which corresponds to the valve 5, is higher than the elastic force of the spring 53, the spring 53 is pushed away by the flow of the medium in the channel 6, thus opening the valve 5.This causes the medium in compression chamber 3 to flow out of compression chamber 3 through channel 6. The medium is, for example, refrigerant liquid or refrigerant vapor.

[0020] According to the Fig. In embodiments 2 to 4 of the present disclosure, the valve 5 further comprises a fastening element 54, which is attached to the side of the stationary spiral winding 10 facing away from the stationary spiral winding 12. The fastening element 54 has a first side surface 541 and a second side surface 542, which are opposite each other, and a hole 540, which extends from the first side surface 541 towards the second side surface 542 to between the first side surface 541 and the second side surface 542. The valve element 52 and the spring 53 are movably provided in the hole 540 of the fastening element 54. According to an example of the present disclosure, the fastening element 54 further has an opening 548, which extends from the first side surface 541 in the axial direction of the hole 540 to expose a portion of the hole 540. The width of the opening 548 is smaller than the diameter of the hole 540.The fastening element 54 can have two openings 548, the two openings 548 being opposite each other in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the hole. For example, the two openings 548 are located on the top and bottom of the fastening element 54, respectively.

[0021] According to the Fig. In the embodiments described in the present disclosure, the valve element 52 has, as described in Figures 2 to 4, a first side surface 521 and a second side surface 522, which are opposite each other, and a hole 520, which extends from the first side surface 521 towards the second side surface 522 to between the first side surface 521 and the second side surface 522. One end of the spring 53 is inserted into the hole 520 of the valve element 52.

[0022] According to the Fig. In the embodiments described in the present disclosure, the stationary spiral 10 further comprises a projection 7, which projects from the side of the end plate 11 facing away from the stationary spiral winding 12, with the valve seat 51 being provided in the side surface 71 of the projection 7. The first side surface 541 of the fastening element 54 and the side surface 71 of the projection 7 can abut each other. The fastening element 54 can be fastened to the side surface 71 of the projection 7 of the stationary spiral 10 by means of screws 9 (see Fig. 4) The fastening element 54 can also be attached to the side surface 71 of the projection 7 of the fixed spiral 10 by other means.

[0023] According to the Fig. In the embodiments described in this disclosure, the stationary spiral 10 further comprises a recess 8 on the side of the end plate 11 facing away from the stationary spiral winding 12, with the fastening element 54 being provided in the recess 8. The side surface 71 of the projection 7 extends along the axial direction of the stationary spiral 10, with the fastening element 54 being spaced apart from the bottom surface 81 of the recess 8. The bottom surface 81 of the recess 8 can extend perpendicular to the axial direction of the stationary spiral 10. For example, in use, the side surface 71 of the projection 7 can extend vertically, and the bottom surface 81 of the recess 8 can extend horizontally.

[0024] According to the Fig.In embodiments 2 to 5 of the present disclosure, the channel 6 comprises a first hole 61 extending into the projection 7 and a second hole 62 extending from the projection 7 towards the side of the end plate 11 facing away from the projection 7 and passing through the end plate 11. The first hole 61 is connected to the second hole 62. For example, the first hole 61 extends into the projection 7 in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the stationary spiral 10, and the second hole 62 extends from the projection 7 in the axial direction of the stationary spiral 10 towards the side of the end plate 11 facing away from the projection 7 and passes through the end plate 11. The second hole 62 leads into the compression chamber 3.The position of the second hole 62 is located at a predetermined angle from the position where the circumferential spiral winding 21 and the fixed spiral winding 12 begin to compress, e.g., from 281 degrees to 301 degrees, e.g., approximately 291 degrees. The second hole 62 can comprise two holes 62.

[0025] The spiral compressor according to the embodiments of the present disclosure can, for example, improve the resistance of the spiral compressor to liquid hammer.

[0026] Furthermore, the valve 5 is used in the spiral compressor according to the embodiments of the present disclosure. Thus, when the liquid medium is drawn into the spiral compressor, since the pressure in the compression chamber 3 will be higher than the predetermined pressure threshold, the valve 5 is opened so that the medium in the compression chamber 3 can flow out of the compression chamber 3 through the channel 6.

[0027] Since channel 6 leads to the radially outermost compression chamber 3, i.e., to the compression chamber 3 in the area of the medium intake opening, the liquid medium, when it is drawn into the spiral compressor, can be discharged in time to prevent damage to the compressor.

[0028] Although the above embodiments are described, some features in the above embodiments can be combined to form new embodiments.
