Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vacuum mattress with an associated patient-securing strap. The document DE 20 2018 102 459 U1 discloses an inflatable life mattress having a rigid platform, straps for securing a person located on the platform, and carrying handles. The document DE 20 2013 005 530 U1 discloses a lifting vest with belts which can be opened and re-closed on the back side of the vest for connecting the front or breast side to the back or back side of the lifting vest, and lifting loops for lifting a patient.Vacuum mattress is known per se. They serve to transport injured persons who require immobilization due to pelvic, spinal or femoral fractures and skull, brain or polytrauala by the responsible rescue workers from the place of use until they are placed on a stretcher and from the stretcher until they are placed on a treatment table. An injured person can also be stored on a vacuum mattress at the accident site.Vacuum mattresses are equipped with patient fixing straps and with carrying handles, as disclosed in the German laid-open specification DE 10 2007 056 969 A1. By means of patient fixing straps which are fastened to the vacuum mattress, the vacuum mattress is premodeled according to the body contours of the patient. The air is then suctioned out of the vacuum mattress. After the initial feeding of the patient is completed, the patient is carried on the vacuum mattress for the stand-by cot. The emergency services personnel use the carrying handles attached to the vacuum mattress for transporting the patient. As a rule, these carrying handles are attached to the outside of the vacuum mattress. It has now been found that the vacuum mattress is not fully satisfactory because of the manner in which the handles are attached to the outside. The handles must be accessible to the rescue personnel for lifting after the patient has been prepared on the vacuum mattress for transport to the rescue car. As a rule, however, the main consideration when the emergency services personnel arrive is the emergency first care of the patient, so that the lateral deployment of the handles is often forgotten. This has the consequence that the patient is lying on the carrying handles and the carrying handles are thus not directly accessible to the rescue services personnel. In order to access the carrying handles, the rescue services personnel must pull the handles out under the patient's body. For this purpose, the vacuum mattress must be lifted laterally and the injured patient must be moved additionally. This process is very time-consuming and entails the risk for the injured patient that subsequent injuries are produced due to the renewed movements and vibrations. It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a vacuum mattress whose type of attachment of the carrying handles is more time-saving and avoids vibration- or movement-related subsequent injuries to the patient. For this purpose, the invention proposes, among other things, fixedly connecting the patient fixing belt and the carrying handle to one another, in particular forming the patient fixing belt integrally with the carrying handle. This improves the conditions of use of the vacuum mattress including. Patient Fixation Strap and Handle. This is because, due to the directional connection of the carrying handle and the patient fixing belt, a lifting effect is generated when the patient fixing belt is placed against the patient. This lifting action has the consequence that the carrying handles are set up outwards simultaneously with the application of the patient fixing straps. The carrying handles of the vacuum mattress are thus freely accessible to the rescue service personnel, so that the injured person can be transported to the stretcher immediately without further time expenditure, which can have life-threatening consequences, and without further movements. The invention is explained below with reference to drawings, which, however, are not to be considered as limiting the invention. The following are shown: FIG. 1 is a schematic illustration of the fastening belt attachment on the vacuum mattress; and FIG. 2 shows an attachment according to the invention of a carrying handle. In the example shown in FIG. 1, a patient fixation strap is attached to the vacuum mattress. The right and left sides each represent an exemplary attachment shape and are not to be considered as belonging together, since these are two different attachment shapes. The vacuum mattress 1 has been divided into three equal parts in the illustration in FIG. 1, which is indicated by two dashed lines separating these parts. In the mounting form of the right side, the patient fixing belt pieces 19 are fixed with a ramp 12 at three locations on each side in the outer third of the underside of the vacuum mattress 1 (i.e. the right side of the vacuum mattress 1 is provided in a mirrored manner on the main axis in order to obtain three fastening locations on each side). Above the person to be stored thereon and thus transported, the two sides of the belt 19 are connected to one another, for example, by a belt buckle (not shown here) in order to fix the person. The head of the person to be transported lies on the head part 2.In the mounting form of the left side, a belt piece 19 ais secured with a respective ramp 12 at two points on each side in the outer third of the underside of the vacuum mattress 1 (i.e. the right side of the vacuum mattress 1 is provided in a mirrored manner on the main axis in order to obtain two respective attachment points on each side). In the middle of the belt piece 19a, a middle part or patient fixing belt piece 19b is fastened transversely to the belt piece 19a, which serves for fixing the person to be transported. The head of the person to be transported lies on the head part 2 here. Above the person to be stored thereon and thus to be transported, the two sides of the belt 19 bare connected to one another, for example by a belt buckle (not illustrated here), in order to fix the person. The belt buckle can also be fastened on one side directly between the belt pieces 19a and 19b.At the locations where the belt 19 / 19a is secured to the mattress, a respective carrying handle 18 is also secured, in the manner shown in Fig. 2. For this purpose, on the one hand, the fixing belt 19 (the longitudinal axis of which is indicated with dashed lines) is fixed to the vacuum mattress by means of a ramp 12, which in turn can be released by means of a plastic screw 14. Sewn onto the strap in V-shape is a strap loop 16 which is surrounded in its central part by a handle sleeve 18. The belts consist of PVC-coated belt webbing of about 20 mm (carrying loop) to 50 mm (fixing belt) width depending on the load. At least the fixing belt is coated in its central part with artificial leather 20 at the side edges. The number of the fixing belts is not particularly limited, but is suitably between two and six.Of course, each fixing belt end piece can also be separately connected to its opposite pendant by means of a belt buckle, and then run straight transversely over the person lying. It is also possible to combine individual belts and fixing belts joined together in pairs. In any case, the attachment position of the fixing straps is situated in the vicinity of the lateral longitudinal edge of the vacuum mattress, for example in the outer third or fifth of its width. The carrying handles together with their strap loops are sewn in such a way that they point from the attachment point in the direction of the edge. Due to the inherent stability of the materials, the carrying handles therefore, when applying the vacuum mattress to the person's body, are set up so far outwards that they can easily be gripped by rescue personnel.
