Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a hydraulic pump with a housing, a pump module and a stator module, both of which are accommodated in the housing, and a housing cover.
[0002] The hydraulic pump is intended for use in a motor vehicle drivetrain. For example, the hydraulic pump can provide a hydraulic oil flow, which is converted into an actuating force and an actuating stroke in an actuator. In one example, a clutch is engaged using the provided hydraulic oil flow. The hydraulic pump can also be used to provide a cooling oil flow, which can be used to cool or lubricate various components in a transmission or clutch. The pump can also be used to pump other fluids, such as a coolant for battery cooling, gear oil, lubricating oil, cooling oil, engine oil, transformer oil, insulating oil, etc.
[0003] Such hydraulic pumps are known in various designs. They can be designed as separate units that are then connected to the component to be supplied via lines, or they can be attached directly to another component, for example, a transmission housing.
[0004] In a typical design of such a hydraulic pump, the housing is constructed in several parts, with one housing part usually used for the pump module and one housing part for the stator module of the electric motor. Hydraulic pumps with a one-piece housing are also known.
[0005] In the automotive industry, the aim is always to provide components that are as compact as possible and with low production costs.
[0006] The object of the invention is therefore to provide a hydraulic pump which is compact in design and can be assembled with little effort.
[0007] The problem is solved by a hydraulic pump having a housing, a pump module, and a stator module, both of which are accommodated in the housing, and a housing cover that is fluid-tightly connected to the housing. The housing cover has a partition wall for hermetically sealing the interior of the housing with the pump module and the stator module, wherein the housing cover further has electronics for controlling the hydraulic pump, which are arranged on the side of the partition wall facing away from the interior of the housing. A plurality of contacts are provided, which are led in a fluid-tight manner from the interior of the housing through the partition wall to the electronics. For each of the contacts, a sealing chamber is provided in the partition wall, which is open towards the stator module and in which a sealing element is arranged that encloses the contact extending through the sealing chamber. In this way, the hydraulic pump can be designed to be particularly space-saving, especially in the axial direction, and with few components, so that assembly can be carried out quickly and reliably.
[0008] In particular, the hydraulic pump is designed without a separating pot, which extends between a stator and a rotor of the electric motor of the hydraulic pump and separates a hydraulic oil side of the hydraulic pump from an electronics side. In the subject matter of the invention, the separating wall ensures that no hydraulic oil can leak from the hydraulic pump to the electronics side.
[0009] In one embodiment, the sealing chamber has a cross-sectional length that is at least twice its radial width, so that at least two contacts adjacent in the circumferential direction can be guided through a common sealing chamber. This reduces the number of sealing chambers and sealing elements, simplifying the design and assembly of the hydraulic pump.
[0010] In a further embodiment, the stator module has a projection for each of the sealing chambers, in particular one that axially delimits the corresponding sealing element. This ensures that the sealing element is positioned in a defined manner within the sealing chamber and that the sealing chamber is effectively closed or sealed by the sealing element.
[0011] The contact can be an insulation displacement contact, which further simplifies installation.
[0012] In particular, the insulation displacement contact is designed in such a way that it has an insulation displacement contact at one end and a section for a press-fit connection at the opposite end.
[0013] Furthermore, the projections of the stator module can be provided with guide slots for cables of the stator winding to ensure that the cables are connected to the contacts in a signal-transmitting manner during assembly.
[0014] Additionally or alternatively, the sealing element may have at least two circumferential ribs on its outer surface in order to provide a reliable sealing effect.
[0015] According to one embodiment, the housing cover accommodates a printed circuit board on which electronic components are mounted. This allows the electronics to be manufactured and assembled with minimal effort.
[0016] The partition wall can be provided with a stop structure for axial positioning of the circuit board in order to position the circuit board in a defined manner relative to the partition wall with little effort.
[0017] Furthermore, in a further embodiment, the stop structure is formed by extensions that are arranged opposite the sealing chamber, viewed in the axial direction. Thus, the circuit board is axially supported by the extensions in the areas where the contacts pass through the partition.
[0018] Furthermore, the circuit board can be embedded in a potting compound to protect or insulate the electronic components, particularly electrically and / or mechanically. The potting compound also has good thermal conductivity properties, allowing any heat loss to be easily dissipated from the electronics via the potting compound.
[0019] In one embodiment, the housing cover has a radially extending connector, which makes the hydraulic pump particularly compact axially.
[0020] In a further embodiment, the pump module is a gerotor pump or a vane pump, which are particularly compact and reliable.
[0021] Further advantages and features are evident from the following description and the attached drawings. These show: - Fig. 1 shows a sectional view of a hydraulic pump according to the invention with a housing cover and a printed circuit board which is accommodated in the housing cover, wherein a potting compound surrounding the printed circuit board is not shown, - Fig. 2 in another sectional view the hydraulic pump from Fig. 1, showing the potting compound surrounding the circuit board, - Fig. 3 in a perspective detailed view of electrical contacts of the hydraulic pump from Fig. 1, - Fig. 4 shows a partial sectional view of a section of the hydraulic pump Fig. 1, which shows in detail the passage of the electrical contacts through a partition, and - Fig. 5 shows a sectional view of a hydraulic pump according to the invention according to a further embodiment.
[0022] In Fig. 1 shows a hydraulic pump 10 configured to provide a hydraulic oil flow to a drivetrain of a motor vehicle. This flow can be used to lubricate or cool drivetrain components. The hydraulic oil flow can also be used to convert actuators into an actuating stroke, for example, to engage a clutch.
[0023] The hydraulic pump 10 has a housing 12 and a housing cover 14, which enclose an interior space 16.
[0024] The housing 12 is constructed in one piece and has a pot shape, i.e. a bottom 18 and a side wall 20 which extends essentially in a hollow cylinder shape counter to an axial direction A from the bottom 18 to a housing edge 22.
[0025] The housing cover 14 has a partition wall 24 which extends radially substantially over the entire interior space 16.
[0026] In the present embodiment, the housing 12 and the housing cover 14 are injection-molded components made of a plastic such as a thermoplastic. PPA or PPS are particularly suitable materials.
[0027] Furthermore, the hydraulic pump 10 has a pump module 26 and an electric motor 28, which are arranged in the interior 16.
[0028] The pump module 26 has a pump housing 30 and a pump rotor 32 accommodated therein. Furthermore, in the embodiment of the hydraulic pump 10 shown here, an outer ring 34 is provided, which is rotatably accommodated in the pump housing 30.
[0029] The pump module 26 is a gerotor pump type pump.
[0030] The electric motor 28 has a rotor 36 and a stator module 38 with a stator 40. The stator 40 is arranged stationary in the housing 12, and the rotor 36 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a shaft 42, which is mounted in the pump housing 30 for rotation about a rotation axis R.
[0031] The pump rotor 32 is mounted in a rotationally fixed manner, for example via a press fit, on an end of the shaft 42 located within the pump housing 30.
[0032] The pump housing 30 is dimensioned so that the pump rotor 32 can be accommodated in it with the necessary axial play.
[0033] To control the electric motor 28, the hydraulic pump 10 has a printed circuit board 44 on which components 46 of an electronic system for controlling the hydraulic pump 10 are arranged.
[0034] The printed circuit board 44 is accommodated in the housing cover 14 and rests against the partition wall 24 via stop structures 48, which are formed by extensions 50 on the side of the partition wall 24 facing away from the interior space 16 and are designed to position the printed circuit board 44 axially.
[0035] In the present embodiment, the circuit board 44 is encapsulated in a potting compound 52 (see Fig. 2) embedded.
[0036] At this point it should be noted that in Fig. 1 the hydraulic pump 10 is shown without the potting compound 52 in order to better illustrate the structure, in particular the components 46 of the electronics.
[0037] In an alternative embodiment, the circuit board 44 may be only partially surrounded by the potting compound 52.
[0038] The electric motor 28 is connected to the circuit board 44 via electrical contacts 54 (see Fig. 3) are connected in a signal-transmitting manner, which extend axially through the partition wall 24.
[0039] The electrical contacts 54 each extend through a sealing chamber 56 (see Fig. 4), which is formed in the partition wall 24 and is open to the interior space 16. This means that a gap 60 is formed between the electrical contact 54 and the chamber wall 58 radially delimiting the sealing chamber 56, which gap opens into the interior space 16.
[0040] In this context, the extensions 50 forming the stop structures 48 extend in axial extension to the chamber walls 58 of the sealing chambers 56. This means that the extensions 50 are arranged opposite the sealing chambers 56 or their chamber walls 58, as viewed in the axial direction A.
[0041] The sealing chambers 56 have a radial width B and a tangential length L in cross-section perpendicular to the axial direction A (see Fig. 3), which is at least 200% of the radial width B.
[0042] In order to close the gaps 60 or the sealing chambers 56 in a fluid-tight manner, a sealing element 62 is arranged in each sealing chamber 56, which surrounds the electrical contact 54 which extends through the corresponding sealing chamber 56.
[0043] The sealing elements 62 each have two circumferential ribs 64 which are arranged one behind the other in the axial direction A on the outer surface 66 of the sealing elements 62.
[0044] In an alternative embodiment, the sealing elements 62 can each have any number of circumferential ribs 64, in particular one or three.
[0045] The sealing elements 62 and the sealing chambers 56 are dimensioned such that the sealing elements 62 are radially compressed in the sealing chambers 56 in order to ensure a high sealing effect.
[0046] In this context, the stator module 38 has a stator housing 68 with projections 70 which are assigned to the sealing chambers 56 and each project axially into a sealing chamber 56, so that the sealing elements 62 are axially delimited by the projections 70 in the sealing chambers 56.
[0047] In an alternative embodiment, the sealing elements 62 are not or at least not axially limited by the projections 70 in the sealing chambers 56.
[0048] The projections 70 have guide slots 72 in which cables 74 of the stator winding of the stator 40 are received, in particular clamped.
[0049] In the present embodiment, the electrical contacts 54 are insulation displacement contacts with an insulation displacement terminal at their end facing the stator 40.
[0050] Here, the projections 70 are designed such that the electrical contacts 54 can be inserted into the projections 70 in the axial direction A, wherein the electrical contacts 54 are automatically connected to the cables 74 in the guide slots 72 in a signal-transmitting manner.
[0051] In this context, the electrical contacts 54 are connected to the circuit board 44 via a press-fit connection for signal transmission.
[0052] Additionally or alternatively, the electrical contacts 54 can be connected to the circuit board 44 via a solder connection in a signal-transmitting manner.
[0053] Furthermore, the circuit board 44 is connected to connection contacts of an electrical connection 76 of the hydraulic pump 10 in a signal-transmitting manner.
[0054] The electrical connection 76 is here a connector 78 extending radially, ie perpendicular to the axial direction A, which is part of the housing cover 14.
[0055] Furthermore, the interior space 16 comprises a pump receiving space 80 in which the pump module 26 is arranged, and a stator receiving space 82 in which the stator module 38 is arranged.
[0056] The pump receiving chamber 80 and the stator receiving chamber 82 are directly adjacent to one another, ie they are not separated from one another by a partition wall and are thus each axially open.
[0057] The pump module 26 rests in the axial direction A on the bottom 18 of the housing 12 and is arranged in the pump receiving space 80 such that the pump module 26 is fluidly connected to a suction opening 84 and a pressure opening 86 of the hydraulic pump 10, which extend in the axial direction A through the bottom 18.
[0058] In this case, the pump module 26 is designed to be complementary to the housing 12, at least in sections, so that the pump module 26 is received radially in the pump receiving space 80 essentially without play.
[0059] The housing 12 also has fastening pins 88 (see Fig. 2), onto which the pump module 26 is plugged in the axial direction A and whose ends 90 form plastically deformed axial retaining projections 92 which fix the pump module 26 axially to the housing 12.
[0060] Additionally or alternatively, the pump module 26 can be axially fastened to the housing 12 by welding the pump housing 30 to the side wall 20, in particular by laser welding.
[0061] The stator module 38 is arranged adjacent to the pump module 26 and is designed at least in sections to be complementary to the housing 12, so that the stator module 38 is received radially in the stator receiving space 82 essentially without play.
[0062] In one embodiment, the stator module 38 lies directly against the pump module 26 in the axial direction A.
[0063] The stator module 38 is further fastened to the housing 12 by the stator housing 68 of the stator module 38 being welded radially circumferentially to the side wall 20, in particular by laser welding.
[0064] The housing cover 14 has a support section 94, via which it rests on the stator module 38 in the axial direction A.
[0065] Furthermore, the housing cover 14 has a collar 96 which extends radially and preferably in the axial direction A over the housing edge 22.
[0066] The collar 96 is spaced apart from the housing edge 22 in the axial direction A.
[0067] In this way, the collar 96 protects the housing edge 22 and together with it forms a kind of labyrinth seal.
[0068] The housing cover 14 further has an apron 98 extending in the axial direction A, which is designed to complement the housing edge 22. By means of the apron 98, the housing cover 14 rests radially inwardly on the housing edge 22 over its entire circumference.
[0069] In the present embodiment, the housing cover 14 is welded to the housing edge 22, in particular by means of the apron 98, completely radially circumferentially, so that the weld seam is fluid-tight and preferably gas-tight.
[0070] Welding can be done by laser welding.
[0071] In this way, the interior space 16 is hermetically sealed by the partition wall 24 or the housing cover 14 in conjunction with the sealing elements 62.
[0072] In a further embodiment, the housing cover 14 may have a protective cap that covers the housing cover 14 such that the printed circuit board 44 is enclosed between the protective cap and the partition wall 24 in the housing cover 14. The protective cap is provided in particular in embodiments in which the printed circuit board 44 is not or not completely embedded in a potting compound 52.
[0073] To assemble the hydraulic pump 10, the shaft 42 with the rotor 36 is first inserted into the pump module 26 in the axial direction A without any play.
[0074] Subsequently, the pump rotor 32 is pressed onto the shaft 42 and then the outer ring 34 is mounted.
[0075] Now the pump module 26 is inserted in the axial direction A into the housing 12 and fastened in the pump receiving space 80.
[0076] For this purpose, the pump module 26 is placed in the axial direction A onto the fastening pins 88 and the ends 90 are plastically deformed to the axial holding projections 92, for example by means of ultrasonic welding.
[0077] Additionally or alternatively, the pump housing 30 can be welded to the side wall 20 in order to attach the pump module 26 to the housing 12.
[0078] In a further step, the electrical contacts 54 are inserted in the axial direction A into the projections 70 of the stator module 38 and connected to the cables 74 in the guide slots 72 in a signal-transmitting manner.
[0079] Before or after this, the sealing elements 62 are placed on the electrical contacts 54 and thus attached to the stator module 38 by means of the electrical contacts 54.
[0080] The stator module 38 is then inserted into the housing 12 in the axial direction A and fastened adjacent to the pump module 26 in the stator receiving space 82.
[0081] Now, the partition wall 24 is inserted in the axial direction A into the housing 12 such that the sealing elements 62 are arranged in the sealing chambers 56 and the electrical contacts 54 are guided through the sealing chambers 56.
[0082] The projections 70 limit the sealing elements 62 in the sealing chambers 56 in the axial direction A.
[0083] In this case, the partition wall 24 with the support section 94 is brought into axial contact with the stator module 38, which ensures that the projections 70 project axially into the sealing chambers 56 in a defined manner and delimit the sealing elements 62.
[0084] The housing cover 14 is then welded to the housing edge 22 in a fluid-tight manner.
[0085] As a result, the interior space 16 is sealed fluid-tight by the partition wall 24 in conjunction with the sealing elements 62.
[0086] In a further step, the printed circuit board 44 is inserted into the housing cover 14 in the axial direction A and arranged axially in contact with the partition wall 24 via the stop structures 48.
[0087] The circuit board 44 is plugged axially onto the electrical contacts 54 and is thus connected to them in a signal-transmitting manner.
[0088] Additionally or alternatively, the electrical contacts 54 can be soldered to the circuit board 44.
[0089] The circuit board 44 in the housing cover 14 is then potted with the potting compound 52.
[0090] In an alternative embodiment, the electrical contacts 54 are inserted into the projections 70 after the stator module 38 has been inserted and are connected to the cables 74 in a signal-transmitting manner.
[0091] In a further alternative embodiment, in which the electrical contacts 54 are insulation displacement contacts, the electrical contacts 54 are fastened to the partition wall 24 by means of the sealing elements 62 and inserted together therewith, wherein the electrical contacts 54 are automatically connected to the cables 74 in the guide slots 72 in a signal-transmitting manner when inserted into the projections 70.
[0092] Additionally or alternatively, the circuit board 44 can be attached to the housing cover 14 before it is inserted.
[0093] In an alternative embodiment, the fastening of the individual components or assemblies can not take place immediately after the insertion of the component or assembly, but at a later time.
[0094] For example, in one embodiment, the pump module 26, the stator module 38 and / or the housing cover 14 may be welded to the housing 12 after all components or assemblies have been inserted into the housing 12.
[0095] In Fig. Figure 5 shows a hydraulic pump 10 according to a further embodiment. The same reference numerals are used for components known from the above embodiment, and reference is made to the previous explanations.
[0096] In this embodiment, the pump module 26 is a vane pump type pump and is designed accordingly.
[0097] In this way, a hydraulic pump 10 is provided which can be assembled particularly easily since all internal components or assemblies are inserted into the housing 12 from one side, namely in the axial direction A, and the assembly is carried out without screws.
[0098] Since the components or assemblies are fastened in the housing 12 without screws, the hydraulic pump 10 is also particularly compact, in particular in the radial direction, since space-consuming fastening flanges for such screw connections are eliminated.
[0099] The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown. In particular, individual features of one embodiment can be combined arbitrarily with features of other embodiments, in particular independently of the other features of the corresponding embodiments.
