Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to an actuating actuator for a power output, a parking lock device with such an actuating actuator, a transmission with such a parking lock device for a drive train, a drive train with such a transmission, and a motor vehicle with such a drive train.
[0002] For various applications, especially in the field of motor vehicles, it is known to use an actuating actuator, especially electrically, hydraulically, or electro-hydraulically driven actuating actuators. One application, for example, is a gear change requiring a force, such as in an (automatic) manual transmission or a parking lock device. A hydraulic actuating actuator for a parking lock is known, for example, from WO 2022 / 258097 A1. For many applications, it is desirable to be able to detect the current position at the electronic level. A permanent magnet in the moving element (e.g., a tappet) and a magnetic field sensor fixed in or on the actuator housing are suitable for this purpose.
[0003] It has been found that due to the adjustability required in some applications, the detection can become inaccurate, meaning that it is no longer possible to ensure that a preset position matches the measurement result of the magnetic field sensor. It has been determined that this inadequate situation is caused by the fact that commonly used permanent magnets have an inhomogeneous magnetic field along their rotation around the movement axis.
[0004] Based on this, the present invention is based on the object of at least partially overcoming the disadvantages known from the prior art. The features of the invention are derived from the independent claims, for which advantageous embodiments are presented in the dependent claims. The features of the claims can be combined in any technically reasonable manner, whereby the explanations from the following description as well as features from the figures, which comprise additional embodiments of the invention, can also be consulted for this purpose.
[0005] The invention relates to an actuator for power output, comprising at least the following components: - an actuator housing; - a drive receptacle for a drive unit for providing a driving force which is held by the actuator housing; - a plunger for delivering an actuating force resulting from the drive force of the drive unit in an active actuating direction, wherein the plunger is movably mounted in the actuator housing; - a sensor magnet which is fixed in the plunger and whose movement relative to the actuator housing can be detected by a sensor unit; and - a coil spring for preloading the plunger against the active actuation direction, wherein the coil spring is preloaded between an end piece of the plunger and a contact surface of the actuator housing.
[0006] The actuating actuator is primarily characterized by the fact that the plunger is secured against rotation relative to the actuator housing in the active actuating direction by means of the helical spring.
[0007] In the following, reference is made to the specified axis of rotation whenever, without explicit indication to the contrary, the axial direction, radial direction, or the direction of rotation and corresponding terms are used. Ordinal numbers used in the preceding and following descriptions serve only to clearly distinguish them and do not reflect the order or ranking of the designated components. An ordinal number greater than one does not necessarily imply that another such component must be present.
[0008] The actuating actuator can be used for many applications, particularly for switching between two or more positions where a force is required for this switching process. The actuating actuator is particularly advantageous for use in a parking lock device. In one embodiment, two operating positions can be maintained by means of the actuating actuator without an external energy supply. For this purpose, a preload force is exerted on the plunger in one (passive) actuation direction by means of the helical spring, preferably a helical compression spring. In the other (active) actuation direction, an (actively) reached end position is releasably fixed. Releasable fixing can be achieved, for example, by means of a self-locking mechanism. An actively releasable fixing, for example locking with a lifting magnet to release the locking, is particularly advantageous for fluidic actuation where a minimum pressure must be maintained.
[0009] Such a force is provided as a driving force by a drive unit. In one embodiment, the drive unit is a component of an actuator, preferably provided as a single unit. In another embodiment, the drive unit is a separate unit, preferably replaceable for maintenance or replacement. The drive unit is actuated, for example, electromagnetically or fluidically, hydraulically or pneumatically. A fluidically actuated drive unit can be actuated via a fluid pressure circuit, for example, controllable via control valves, or by means of a (separate) pump, i.e., electrohydraulically.
[0010] The actuator housing is designed to hold the components together and allow the actuator to be mounted in an installation situation. The actuator housing is one-piece or multi-piece. The actuator housing is preferably open and is completed by a drive unit housing to form a closed overall housing when the drive unit is accommodated by the drive mount. In a preferred embodiment, the actuator housing or the overall housing forms a wet space (closed to the outside).
[0011] The plunger is the movable element by means of which a required distance between the two extreme positions can be covered and a force can be transmitted. The plunger can be moved actively by means of a drive unit in the active actuation direction, and preferably passively exclusively by means of the coil spring in the opposite direction, for example the passive actuation direction. In one embodiment, the plunger can be moved exclusively actively in the opposite direction, preferably by means of the drive unit. The coil spring is then provided, for example, for a specific position and / or preload force. The plunger can preferably be guided (back) into its passive position (for example fully retracted and / or with minimized force or force-free) using the preload force of the coil spring alone.
[0012] The coil spring is designed to preload the plunger, and preferably to return it to its passive position. In one embodiment, the plunger is designed with a straight axis and is movable along this straight axis (i.e., axially). The coil spring is then arranged with a straight spring axis parallel, preferably coaxial, to the axis of the plunger. In one embodiment, the coil spring is arranged with its spring wire extending radially outward around the plunger. Alternatively, the axis of the plunger and the spring axis are curved and / or not parallel to each other.
[0013] The sensor magnet is a permanently magnetized element, preferably a permanent magnet. Such an element, at least in a cost-effective embodiment, has a magnetic field that is not sufficiently homogeneous. For some applications, the magnetic field is sufficiently homogeneous, so that a corresponding sensor unit is capable of determining the current position of the plunger with sufficient accuracy. However, for some applications, it is necessary to maintain a non-negligible adjustment stroke for the plunger that significantly exceeds typical manufacturing and / or assembly tolerances. In an extreme position, the inhomogeneity (with respect to one revolution) of the magnetic field is so strong or relevant that the corresponding sensor unit cannot reliably detect the position of the plunger during free movement (e.g., rotation of the plunger around its axis) and / or (despite axial fixation) of the sensor magnet in or on the plunger. For example, the magnetic field is in a position relative to the corresponding sensor unit in which the magnetic field of the sensor magnet is already weak in its position relative to the corresponding sensor unit during setting of the respective position signal of the corresponding sensor unit, but after an (unintentional) relative rotation of the sensor magnet during operation, due to the (revolution) inhomogeneity, is so much weaker that the set position signal is no longer triggered, or at least no longer reliably triggered. It should be noted that the sensor magnet is fixed in the plunger, not only axially but also rotationally secured. This is achieved by means of a press fit and / or positive locking between the sensor magnet and the plunger. Furthermore, it should be noted that the sensor magnet is not necessarily made of pure magnetic material, but may also include a housing or other components.
[0014] A coil spring is a compression spring or an extension spring with a straight or curved spring axis. A coil spring has the property that, in addition to its (here main) function of providing a preload force along its spring axis, it also resists torsion around its spring axis. However, a conventionally designed coil spring is designed with flat-ground ends (in the case of a compression spring) or with loosely suspended spring legs (in the case of a tension spring). Thus, the torsional stiffness of the coil spring cannot be transferred to the plunger.
[0015] Here, it is proposed that the relative rotational position of the sensor magnet be secured by the torsional stiffness of the coil spring, so that the rotational position is kept constant during operation over the desired service life. The rotational position of the sensor magnet is thus (at least within a narrow range) identical to that when setting at least one position signal of the corresponding sensor unit. This allows the use of a cost-effective sensor magnet with an inhomogeneous magnetic field.
[0016] In one embodiment, an open end of the spring wire of the helical spring designed as a helical compression spring is brought into force-transmitting contact with the plunger or the actuator housing in the circumferential direction. In one embodiment, the spring leg of the helical spring designed as a helical tension spring is secured against relative rotation by the plunger or the actuator housing with minimal play in the circumferential direction, preferably with an undersize, for example, in a plastic holder. It should be noted that both spring ends must be secured in the circumferential direction relative to their spring axis, namely on one side to the plunger and on the other side to the actuator housing.
[0017] It is further proposed in an advantageous embodiment of the actuating actuator that the actuator housing has a receptacle for a spring leg of the helical spring, wherein the receptacle for the spring leg forms a counter bearing against rotation of the helical spring about the active actuation direction, wherein the helical spring is preferably designed as a helical compression spring.
[0018] In this embodiment, the actuator housing itself forms a receptacle in which a spring leg of the coil spring (preferably designed as a helical compression spring) is secured in the circumferential direction around its spring axis. The receptacle is formed, for example, as a hole, groove, and / or through-hole, preferably parallel to the spring axis of the coil spring.
[0019] This ensures that the corresponding spring end of the coil spring (with the received spring leg) can no longer be rotated relative to the actuator housing (at least not beyond a predetermined play) relative to the actuator housing and thus relative to the corresponding sensor unit, and that a torsional force introduced into the coil spring can be supported on the actuator housing.
[0020] It is further proposed in an advantageous embodiment of the actuating actuator that the contact surface of the actuator housing and / or the end piece of the plunger has a circumferential pitch complementary to the respective end-side coil pitch of the helical spring.
[0021] In this embodiment, preferably with a spring leg for torsion protection of the coil spring, the relevant spring end (on the plunger side or the housing side) is not ground flat, but rather the spring end preferably has a coil pitch, for example the same as or less than that in the axially central region of the coil spring. To ensure flat force transmission and avoid force introduction that is inclined (at least initially) towards the spring axis (which promotes buckling), it is proposed here that the complementary contact surface has a circumferential pitch that corresponds to the coil pitch present at the spring end. This allows the use of a more cost-effective coil spring, because surface grinding represents a significant cost factor. In contrast, with primary forming or forming, the effort is negligible (at least for large-scale production).
[0022] It is further proposed in an advantageous embodiment of the actuating actuator that the coil spring is pressed onto the end piece of the plunger.
[0023] In this design, the coil spring (preferably designed as a helical compression spring) is secured against twisting relative to the plunger (under design torsional forces). It should be noted that for many applications, no torsional loading is intended, and the torsional forces acting on the plunger or coil spring are so small that they are not listed in a specification and represent purely empirical values.
[0024] It is further proposed in an advantageous embodiment of the actuating actuator that the end piece of the plunger is formed by a sleeve, wherein the end piece has been radially expanded for a press connection, preferably by cold forming.
[0025] In this embodiment, the plunger as a whole or at least a portion, for example, the end piece of the plunger, which is configured to absorb the preload force along the spring axis of the coil spring (e.g., has a flange), is designed as a sleeve. For example, the sleeve is an extruded body or a longitudinally welded sheet metal. The sleeve is, for example, metallic or made of a (preferably reinforced) plastic.
[0026] The end piece is wider than the adjoining section of the sleeve or plunger, so that a press fit is established exclusively in this area, and preferably a gap (radial and circumferential in a coaxial embodiment) is formed in the other sections of the plunger. In one embodiment, the widened portion of the end piece is already formed before the coil spring is installed. Alternatively or additionally (for the remaining molding to ensure a sufficiently strong press fit), the widened portion is only formed after the coil spring has been positioned relative to the assembly. It should be noted that in one embodiment, a radial widened portion is formed in a point-like, interrupted, or circumferential manner.
[0027] In one embodiment, the widened portion, preferably in the case of a metallic end piece, is formed by cold forming, for example by pressing a forming mandrel into the end piece. Particularly preferably, the forming mandrel is simultaneously equipped with a collar, which is configured to form a flange on the end piece for the axial force transmission between the coil spring and the plunger.
[0028] It should be noted that in one embodiment, the coil spring is also connected to the actuator housing in the same or similar manner (via a sleeve-like element) in a torsion-proof manner.
[0029] It is further proposed in an advantageous embodiment of the actuating actuator that a maximum angle of rotation of the plunger is a maximum of 90°, preferably a maximum of 40°, and wherein the plunger is preferably secured against rotation exclusively by means of the coil spring.
[0030] This embodiment ensures that maximum rotation during operation is limited to 90° [ninety degrees out of 360°] or less, preferably to a smaller angle of rotation, for example, a maximum of 40°. For example, rotation around a neutral angular position is limited to a maximum of ± 45° or a maximum of ± 20°. For many applications, this is sufficient due to the nature of the inhomogeneity of the magnetic field of the sensor magnet (i.e., non-continuous or non-sudden changes in the direction of rotation).
[0031] In one embodiment, an anti-twist device, for example via a tab or complementary deviation from a circular shape (for example, an oval), is further secured against excessive twisting in at least one section of the plunger. However, it is proposed here that the plunger be secured against excessive twisting (i.e., torsion-proof) solely by the torsional rigidity of the coil spring. In a coil spring, in the absence of torsional load, the phenomenon occurs that the spring ends twist relative to each other by opposite angular amounts during compression and expansion, depending on the winding of the spring wire. Such an effect can occur due to the lack of axial force introduction into the plunger in one state of the actuating actuator. Such a twist is, for example, +20° or -20° [minus twenty degrees] for each spring end compared to a zero position. The zero position is defined, for example, as described above, by means of a receptacle for a spring leg and / or a press fit. A circular shape, or the omission of a complementary shape, is advantageous in terms of manufacturing costs and installation space (radial and / or axial with respect to the actuation direction).
[0032] According to a further aspect, a parking lock device is proposed, comprising a locking wheel for arranging in a lockable torque flow, a locking mechanism and an actuating actuator according to an embodiment as described above, wherein the locking mechanism is actuatable by means of the actuating actuator, and wherein the locking wheel is blockable by means of the locking mechanism.
[0033] The parking lock device proposed here comprises an actuating actuator and a corresponding locking wheel. The locking wheel is integrated into the drive train of a motor vehicle, preferably into a transmission, and, as described above, can be locked by means of the locking mechanism, preventing it from rotating about its wheel axis.
[0034] In one embodiment, the actuating actuator and the locking wheel form a single unit. Such a unit can be delivered for installation as a coherent component and can be mounted at the intended installation location, for example, in a motor vehicle, without the need to disassemble the unit. In one embodiment, the locking mechanism, and in one embodiment also the locking wheel, are a single unit, while the actuating actuator is formed separately.
[0035] The locking gear is arranged in the installation in a drive train in such a way that at least one of the consumers is prevented from transmitting or absorbing torque when the locking mechanism is in the locking state, i.e. the locking gear is blocked.
[0036] The parking lock device proposed here is, among other things, particularly simple in design and can be used in an existing installation space, whereby the position of the tappet of the actuating actuator for detecting the state of the locking wheel can be detected easily and reliably.
[0037] According to a further aspect, a transmission for a drive train is proposed, comprising at least the following components: - a parking lock device according to an embodiment as described above; - a gear comprising the locking wheel; and - a transmission housing which surrounds a transmission chamber, wherein the locking mechanism of the parking lock device is arranged, preferably completely, particularly preferably together with a drive unit for the actuating actuator, in the transmission chamber.
[0038] The transmission, for example, an automatic transmission for a motor vehicle drivetrain, includes the locking gear. For example, the locking gear forms a spur gear of a transmission designed as a shiftable transmission. The transmission has a torque input, for example, one or more transmission input shafts, and a torque output, for example, one or more transmission output shafts. In the transmission, the torque is redirected, reduced, increased, and / or distributed according to the required torque (as a differential).
[0039] In one embodiment, the transmission includes a clutch, for example a friction clutch and / or a dog clutch, in the torque flow. The torque input is located on the drive engine side, and the torque output is located on the consumer side. However, the torque direction is also possible in the opposite direction, from a consumer (during recuperation) to a drive engine or a generator. Furthermore, in an advantageous embodiment of the transmission, it is proposed that the parking lock device as a whole, or solely the locking mechanism, be integrated into a transmission chamber of the transmission formed by a transmission housing.
[0040] The transmission proposed here comprises a parking lock device which, among other things, is particularly simple in design and can be inserted into an existing installation space, wherein the position of the tappet of the actuating actuator for detecting the state of the locking wheel can be detected easily and reliably.
[0041] According to a further aspect, a drive train is proposed, comprising at least the following components: - at least one drive machine for delivering torque; - at least one consumer for absorbing a torque; and - a transmission according to an embodiment as described above, wherein the at least one drive motor and the at least one consumer are connected to one another by means of the transmission in a torque-transmitting manner, wherein a torque transmission between the drive engine and the at least one consumer is prevented by means of the parking lock device in the locking state of the locking mechanism.
[0042] The drive train proposed here comprises at least one drive machine, for example an internal combustion engine and / or an electric drive machine, which forms the torque source of a torque flow at least in one main state. Furthermore, at least one consumer is included, for example drive wheels of a motor vehicle, which forms the torque sink of the torque flow at least in one main state. A transmission according to an embodiment as described above is interposed, via which the (preferably entire wheel-side) torque flow is routed. When the transmission is locked, the torque flow is locked, and torque transmission in the drive train between the torque source and the torque sink is prevented.
[0043] The drive train proposed here comprises a transmission having such a parking lock device, which, among other things, is particularly simple in design and can be inserted into an existing installation space, wherein the position of the tappet of the actuating actuator for detecting the state of the locking wheel can be detected easily and reliably.
[0044] According to a further aspect, a motor vehicle is proposed, comprising at least one drive wheel and a drive train according to an embodiment according to the above description, wherein, for propelling the motor vehicle, a torque can be delivered from the at least one drive motor of the drive train to the at least one drive wheel, and rolling of the motor vehicle is prevented by means of the parking lock device in the locking state of the locking mechanism.
[0045] The motor vehicle is, for example, a passenger car, a truck, or a motorized two-wheeler. The motor vehicle has a drive train according to an embodiment as described above. The torque output by the at least one prime mover is transmitted via the transmission to the at least one drive wheel (consumer). The transmission referred to here is preferably a switchable transmission. Alternatively, the transmission is, for example, a fixed transmission, i.e., with an unchangeable transmission ratio, or a differential or a slip clutch. The parking lock device proposed here is preferably designed as described above and particularly preferably integrated into the transmission.
[0046] A rotational movement of at least one drive wheel in a park position is only possible if the parking lock device (and the legally required parking brake) are released. For further information, please refer to the above description of the parking lock device.
[0047] The motor vehicle proposed here comprises a drive train with a transmission having such a parking lock device, which, among other things, is particularly simple in design and can be inserted into an existing installation space, wherein the position of the tappet of the actuating actuator for detecting the state of the locking wheel can be detected easily and reliably.
[0048] The invention described above is explained in detail below against the relevant technical background with reference to the accompanying drawings, which show preferred embodiments. The invention is in no way limited by the purely schematic drawings, whereby it should be noted that the drawings are not to scale and are not suitable for defining proportions. It is shown in Fig. 1: an actuator in a first sectional view; Fig. 2: the actuating actuator according to Fig. 1 in a second sectional view; Fig. 3: a spring end of a coil spring with spring leg; and Fig. 4: a drive train with a parking lock device in a motor vehicle.
[0049] In Fig. 1 shows an actuator 1 in a first sectional view. The spring axis 27 can be seen centrally, which in this case is congruent with the axis of the (active) actuation direction 6 because the helical spring 9 (here purely optionally designed as a helical compression spring) is arranged coaxially with its spring wire radially outwardly encircling the plunger 5. The actuator housing 2 is designed in several parts here and comprises a lifting magnet 30 for fixing the plunger 5 in an extended position along the active actuation direction 6 (to the right as shown) (not shown here). Reference is made to WO 2022 / 258 097 A1. In this specific (purely optional) embodiment, the lifting magnet 30 (mechanism) comprises a coil 32 for switchably generating a magnetic field and thus a magnetic force for attracting the lifting piston 35, which is prestressed at a distance by means of an energy storage element 38 (here purely optionally a leaf spring stack). An external return path 36 and an internal return path 37 are provided for conducting the magnetic field. The reciprocating piston 35 is designed as a holding element 33, by means of which a spring element can be locked to the actuator housing 2 by means of a barb 34. The external return path 36 forms a drive receptacle 3, to which a drive unit 4 (not shown here) can be connected for transmitting force to the end piece 10 of the plunger 5.
[0050] The plunger 5 comprises a sleeve 14, which extends along the spring axis 27 (or the actuation axis) and has a plunger head 28 at the front, i.e., in the actuation region. A sensor magnet 7 is arranged axially behind the plunger head 28 within the sleeve 14 of the plunger 5 and is secured in its axial position by a fixing element 44. The sensor magnet 7 is also rotationally fixed in the sleeve 14 such that it cannot be rotated relative to the sleeve 14 about the actuation axis. An end piece 10 with a flange 29 for engagement with the coil spring 9 is formed on the sleeve 14 (on the left in the illustration), opposite the plunger head 28. The end piece 10 is radially expanded all the way around for a press connection, preferably after the relevant spring end of the coil spring 9 has been applied.Particularly preferably, the flange 29 for the bearing for transmitting the preload force along the spring axis 27 is formed simultaneously with the radial expansion. At the opposite end, the spring end is designed here (purely optionally and independently of the embodiment of the previously described spring end) with a spring leg 13. The spring leg 13 is secured by a receptacle 12 (formed here in the actuator housing 2) against rotation about the spring axis 27 relative to the actuator housing 2, with as little play as possible. Furthermore, the contact surface 11 formed there by the actuator housing 2 is formed with a circumferential pitch complementary to the coil pitch of the helical spring 9.
[0051] In Fig. 2, the actuator 1 is according to Fig. 1 in a second sectional view. This view is rotated relative to the previous one about the spring axis 27. As a result, the sensor unit 8 (for example, a Hall sensor) is visible in this view. It is clear from this view that the magnetic field of the sensor magnet 7 is already weak in this position relative to the sensor unit 8 and, in the event of an inhomogeneity becoming relevant as a result of a rotation about the spring axis 27, can lead to a (false) position signal corresponding to an extended position of the plunger 5 (to the right, as shown).
[0052] In Fig. Figure 3 shows a spring end of a coil spring 9 with a spring leg 13 formed from spring wire 46. It is also evident here that the spring end has a coil pitch, so that a contact surface 11 with a complementary circumferential pitch is advantageous. The spring leg 13 is in a receptacle 12, such as in Fig. 1, is easy to install. An initial angular position between the sensor magnet 7 and the spring leg 13 and thus the receptacle 12 of the actuator housing 2 is not relevant for assembly and adjustment. It is then only important that the relative twist does not change too much and / or only temporarily (under a torsional load on the tappet 5). If there is no torsional moment on the tappet 5, for example, no axial force on the tappet 5 and thus a frictional torque transmission, the helical spring 9 will twist about its spring axis 27, specifically as shown here when compressed in the direction of rotation around the spring axis 27 referred to as the twist angle 45. Such twisting is intrinsically limited to a maximum twist angle of 20°, starting from a zero position in the relaxed state up to a block load. This enables correct position determination by means of the sensor magnet 7 and the sensor unit 8 in a way that is at least almost space-neutral.
[0053] In Fig.4 shows a purely schematic plan view of a motor vehicle 26 with a drive train 20, wherein a drive machine 23, optionally shown here as an electric motor, is arranged perpendicular to a longitudinal axis 31 along a motor axis 39. The motor axis 39 is arranged in the direction of travel in front of a driver's cab 40 of the motor vehicle 26. The drive train 20 is configured to propel the motor vehicle 26 by driving a left drive wheel 24 and a right drive wheel 25 (here optionally the front axle of the motor vehicle 26) by means of a torque output from the drive machine 23 via a transmission 19 (here optionally designed as a manual transmission), thus forming a torque flow 17 shown in dashed lines (here shown with the direction corresponding to a traction torque). For example, the transmission 19 designed as a manual transmission can be shifted by a vehicle driver using a gearshift lever 41 in the driver's cab 40.
[0054] A parking lock device 15 with a locking gear 16 is now arranged in the torque flow 17, with which the left drive gear 24 and the right drive gear 25 can be locked. The parking lock device 15 comprises a locking gear 16, for example a gear wheel of the transmission 19 or an additional gear of the transmission 19, as well as a locking mechanism 18 and an actuating actuator 1. An embodiment of the parking lock device 15 is shown here in which (optionally) the locking mechanism 18 is arranged within the transmission chamber 22 in the transmission housing 21 of the manual transmission and (optionally) the drive unit 4 of the parking lock device 15 is arranged outside the transmission housing 21.
[0055] The locking wheel 16 is arranged in the torque flow 17 in such a way that the motor vehicle 26 can be prevented from rolling away. The parking lock device 15 can be actuated with at least one of the following control elements: - by a gearshift lever 41, for example by means of a parking position “P”, - a parking lever 42; and / or - an ignition button 43 (alternatively an ignition key).
[0056] Furthermore, the parking lock device 15 can preferably be actuated automatically, for example when leaving the motor vehicle 26 (for example after locking it), the parking lock is automatically engaged.
[0057] The proposed actuating actuator can be used in an existing installation space, whereby the position of the plunger of the actuating actuator can be easily and reliably detected to detect the state of the locking wheel.
