Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a surface light for cabins, i.e. interior spaces, of vehicles for passenger transport, in particular aircraft, trains, buses, etc.DE 10 2018 002 753 A1 discloses a surface luminaire of this type, having a light guide which extends in a planar manner along an extension surface, having at least one operating light source for radiating operating light into the light guide in a normal operation of the surface luminaire, wherein the light guide has an output coupling structure on at least one of its flat sides for outputting the operating light from the light guide. The surface luminaire contains at least one emergency light source for irradiating emergency light into the light guide in an emergency mode of the surface luminaire, wherein the emergency light is emitted again by the light guide. The object of the present invention is to propose improvements in relation to such a surface luminaire. The object is achieved by a surface luminaire according to claim 1. preferred or advantageous embodiments of the invention and other categories of invention are evident from the further claims, the following description and the attached figures. The surface light is one for a cabin of a vehicle for passenger transport. The vehicle is in particular an aircraft, in particular a passenger aircraft or a bus or a railway. The cabin is in particular a passenger cabin of the vehicle. The surface light includes a diffuser plate. The term "plate" is to be understood here only with reference to the planar shape. The diffuser plate is in particular not a hard, stiff, massive, stable element. The diffuser plate is in particular somewhat soft and not superstable due to the many scattering layers in the form of glass fleeces (see below). For this reason, it then in particular still needs a load-bearing structure on which the surface luminaire is mounted. In this respect, the diffuser plate is also a "diffuser layer" or a "packet".The diffuser plate extends in an extension surface. The extension surface follows in particular a wall or ceiling section at an intended installation location of the surface light in an intended cabin. In other words, the surface light is designed or specifically shaped as a curved flat component, for example, in order to be installed in a specific cabin as a wall or ceiling component. The diffuser plate can thus be curved, but can also be flat / flat. The curvature can be entirely noticeable, since e.g. no laterally coupled-in / coupling-in light guide interferes with a curvature. In the direction perpendicular to the extension surface, the diffuser plate has a plurality of layers of a scattering layer. The scattering layer is configured to allow transversely incident light to pass, but to scatter in the process. In other words, a plurality of individual, separate planar / sheet-like / sheet-like scattering layers / sheets / sheets are therefore laid or layered one on top of the other in layers. The layers or scattering layers are alternately laminated / laminated to one another and bonded to one another with a respective intermediate layer of an adhesive film between two of the layers. In other words, between each two plies or scattering layers there is one ply or layer of adhesive film and vice versa. In an alternative construction / embodiment, the layers can also be embodied perpendicularly. With the thickness of the surface lamp exceeding 10 mm, for example, the optical density becomes quite high when cross-lamination as described above. If the layers are laid vertically, the density can be reduced again. Thus, not so much light is lost in the diffuser (diffuser plate). In addition, the fleeces in particular only have to be glued together at the joint, such as at a book spine. However, this is only the case with high thicknesses of the diffuser (diffuser plate) in order to have sufficient hold between the nonwovens. At a height of, for example, 5 mm, the scattering layers / stripes would have been fluffed. The layers are in particular all-over layers both with respect to the scattering layer and to the adhesive film, which layers thus extend over the full area within the surface luminaire as far as the edge thereof. In particular, two adjacent full-surface layers or scattering layers are thus glued to one another full-surface.The surface luminaire contains a cover layer. The cover layer is applied to a first flat side of the diffuser plate. In the applied state, the cover layer closes the surface luminaire towards a visible side of the surface luminaire, i.e. forms a surface of the surface luminaire. The visible side of the surface light is one which, when mounted as intended in the cabin, faces precisely this cabin, that is to say the interior of the vehicle and thus any persons located therein, such as passengers or personnel. Persons who are located in the cabin thus look at the visible side and thus the cover layer of the surface luminaire. The cover layer is fastened or glued to the diffuser plate by means of a first adhesive layer. This too is in particular a full-area bonding. The surface luminaire contains a light-emitting layer. This is mounted on a second flat side of the diffuser plate opposite the first flat side. The luminous layer contains a plurality of luminous elements which are designed to actively generate the light to be radiated by the surface luminaire during operation. The luminescent layer is bonded to the diffuser plate by means of a second adhesive layer. The luminous layer is therefore configured to radiate the light generated during operation of the luminous elements into the diffuser plate. The second adhesive layer is in particular not a layer in the narrower sense, but rather a planar sequence of adhesive sites / adhesive spots, for example every 10 cm. This is because of fire requirements. In other words, bonding is carried out only at points. The luminous layer is in particular a flex circuit board with LEDs, which is also referred to here in a broad sense as "layer".Adhesive films, cover layer and first and second adhesive layers are at least partially transparent to transmit light transversely through the respective layers.During operation, the light generated by the luminous layer therefore radiates through both adhesive layers and the diffuser plate and the cover layer and leaves the surface luminaire on the visible side. This results in light being radiated into the cabin. The diffuser layer scatters the light so that it appears uniformly distributed on the visible side and the individual light elements are no longer visible or are no longer so strongly visible to a viewer. The surface light thus acts uniformly, homogeneously, uniformly illuminated. Each of the light-emitting elements contains in particular one or more concentrated light sources, in particular light-emitting diodes. In particular, a light-emitting element contains, for example, four light-emitting diodes of the colors red, green, blue and white (RGBW light source). The surface luminaire has the advantage that the plurality of scattering layers each scatter the light generated by the individual luminous elements. Thus, after passing through the diffuser plate, there is a cascaded light, scattered several times (depending on the number of scattering layers), and thus particularly uniform light. The visible side offers a particularly homogeneous, uniformly illuminated optical impression for a viewer in the case of a comparatively thin diffuser plate (in the direction perpendicular to the area of extent). Individual light elements are then only to be identified, if at all, in the form of slightly brighter sites of the cover layer. In the surface luminaire, particularly good light scattering with respect to the individual lighting elements can be achieved even with a comparatively low height of construction perpendicular to the area of extent. The surface luminaire forms in particular a structure which is not mechanically stable itself. Rather, it can be applied in the manner of a coating or a skin to a mechanically stable carrier in order finally to form a mechanically stable and fully functional structural part.In a preferred embodiment, at least one, in particular a plurality or all, of the scattering layers is a glass fleece and / or at least one, in particular a plurality or all, of the adhesive films is an adhesive web. In particular, at least one, in particular a plurality or all, of the glass nonwovens is a nonwoven sheet. Such scattering layers and adhesive films are particularly suitable for bringing about the above-mentioned scattering effects. In a preferred embodiment, the diffuser plate contains a plurality of at least 5 or at least 10 or at least 15 or at least 45 layers in the form of a respective scattering layer. The more layers or scattering layers are provided in the diffuser plate, the better is the above-mentioned scattering effect, the more individual "light spots" of the luminous elements towards the visible side / cover layer towards a homogeneous overall luminous surface are thus compensated. The closer the individual luminous elements are to one another in the direction of the area of extent, the fewer layers of scattering layers are necessary in order to obtain in each case an equally homogeneous luminous image on the covering layer or visible side.In a preferred embodiment, the cover layer is a thin glass layer, i.e. a thin glass or a fabric layer, i.e. a fabric / fabric / textile or a prepreg layer, i.e. a prepreg or a film layer, i.e. a film. In principle, it is also possible to construct respective sections of the covering layer as thin glass, fabric, prepreg or film, i.e. to combine different elements. In particular, however, the respective cover layer is configured uniformly in its entirety in one of the variants mentioned. The thin glass layer produces a covering layer with an optically particularly high-quality appearance, the fabric layer a haptically soft covering layer which is appealing to this effect, the prepreg layer is paintable in particular, and the film layer has particularly favorable fire properties. In a preferred variant of the stated embodiment, the cover layer is a film layer and the film layer is a layer of pressed PVDF foam (polyvinylidene fluoride). Such a film layer is particularly suitable for satisfying fire requirements in aircraft for surface lights. In a preferred embodiment, two adjacent light-emitting elements are each at a distance of 3 mm to 20 mm from one another in the direction of the area of extent. In particular, the luminous elements are distributed as a regular pattern along or parallel to the area of extent in the luminous layer, for example in the manner of a grid on the grid points. The distances between adjacent luminous elements are in particular the same, i.e. for example with a grid width between 3 and 20 mm, in particular 5 mm or 16 mm. For the distances mentioned correspondingly, practical constructions of the surface luminaire with respect to the number of scattering layers are possible in order to produce a uniform luminous image on the cover layer during operation. In a preferred embodiment, the surface light is a pattern light. By individually controlling the light elements, in particular if they are single light elements with multi-color capability, it is thus possible to generate specific light patterns on the visible side, but not, for example, a specific image or symbol or a letter in the form of a display / a matrix display, etc. The number of light elements can be kept so small and nevertheless a variable visually appealing illumination can be generated by the surface luminaire. The display of symbols is therefore possible, for example an arrow for the boarding direction. The symbol need only be large enough. In a preferred variant of this embodiment, the luminous layer is a display layer and the surface luminaire is a surface display. In particular, the luminous layer is a layer comparable to that of a matrix display / monitor, etc. In other words, the surface luminaire can thus be used in the manner of a large-surface monitor or large-surface display. Thus, real images, texts, symbols, etc. can be displayed. Although more lighting elements are required for this purpose in comparison with the sample light, the use of the surface light as a display for information or more complex displays increases. In a preferred embodiment, the luminescent layer is permanently attached to the diffuser plate in a dust-proof and thus dirt-proof manner. It is thus prevented that the spaces between the light-emitting layer and the diffuser plate must be cleaned from time to time during practical use of the surface light in the cabin if dust or dirt accumulates there, which could impair the light-emitting properties or the visual appearance of the surface light. Thus, a surface luminaire is provided which ensures an optically high-quality lighting behavior on a permanent basis and does not have to be maintained in this respect. In particular, the luminous layer, for example the LEDs, is placed directly on the diffuser, as a result of which there is no longer any cavity which can contaminate. In a preferred variant of this embodiment, the luminous layer is attached to the diffuser plate permanently in a dust-tight manner by means of an adhesive layer which seals all around. In particular, the edges are glued / sealed with special adhesive. On an industrial scale, a frame is rather conceivable for the luminaire; or, in the case of an integrated construction, to an outlet in the sandwich component. In the display, the surface (film), since glass is not used, can easily be pulled backwards and thus close the covering. Comparable to incorporation of a school book known from practice. The adhesive layer effectively prevents the penetration of dust and dirt between the luminescent layer and the diffuser plate and ensures the permanent dust tightness or freedom from dust. Full-area casting with adhesive is ruled out in particular for fire protection and weight reasons. The surface light is in particular a surface component for lining cabins, that is to say interior spaces of vehicles for passenger transport. In a preferred embodiment, the surface light is a wall and / or ceiling panel for the cabin, in particular the passenger cabin of a passenger aircraft. The above-mentioned advantages thus also result for surface components, wall or ceiling panels in cabins. The object of the invention is also achieved by a wall section according to claim 12 of a or for a cabin of a vehicle for passenger transport, which contains at least one surface light according to the invention. The wall section and at least a part of its possible embodiments and the respective advantages have already been explained accordingly in connection with the surface luminaire according to the invention. The object of the invention is also achieved by a cabin according to patent claim 13 of a vehicle which contains at least one surface light according to the invention or at least one wall section according to the invention. The cabin and at least a part of its possible embodiments and the respective advantages have already been explained accordingly in connection with the surface luminaire according to the invention or the wall section according to the invention. The invention is based on the following findings, observations or considerations and still has the following preferred embodiments. These embodiments are also sometimes referred to simply as "the invention". The embodiments can also contain parts or combinations of the above-mentioned embodiments or correspond to these and / or optionally also include embodiments not mentioned up to now.The invention is based on the following finding: Decorative superstructures and surface lights in the aircraft cabin often have a problem in the cabin: since they face the passenger, they must meet the stringent criteria of heat release but nevertheless be light. The following solutions would be conceivable in this case:• Use of glass and thereby add the higher weight.• Use of a glass-polycarbonate composite material that just as does heat release (much glass / little polycarbonate) with only a small weight advantage compared to glass.• Use of very specific polycarbonate with flame retardant. The material makes it possible, especially under favourable conditions, to pass through a fire test and is difficult to make available / have been announced. This also does not represent an option over a large area.• It would also be possible to claim the low-volume exception rule. This allows only a very small area to be built, for example 2 inches x 2 inches x 2 inches or 3 inches x 3 inches 0.5 inches.• It would also be possible to use the "lens" rule for windows and lights. Here too, however, a large-area solution is not possible.• Production according to the light box principle with a pane would also be possible.By virtue of the surface luminaire according to the invention, simply curved surfaces can now be produced. The surface luminaire according to the invention is comparatively light. It satisfies heat release in the safe range, not just on the limit. The invention allows a material / a material combination to be found which can be illuminated.According to the invention, surface lights can be produced:• In the form of a 16 mm pattern light wall (distance of adjacent light elements is 16 mm) with controllable patterns.• In the form of a 16 mm pattern alternative to a ceiling luminaire; in this case, the surface luminaire can be shaped, i.e. it can also be produced in a curved manner and light / lighting patterns can be displayed on the visible side• With a 5 mm spacing of the luminous elements, use as a hidden display is possible.According to the invention, an LED surface for the aircraft cabin is obtained in particular.According to the invention, a translucent surface structure for aircraft cabins results in particular, which in particular meets the severe fire requirements in particular heat release, in the aircraft cabin or, if applicable, in the railway cabin.Further features, effects and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of a preferred exemplary embodiment of the invention and from the attached figures. In each case, a schematic schematic diagram shows: FIG. 1 shows a surface component in cross section in exploded illustration, FIG. 2 is a plan view of the luminescent layer from FIG. 1 in the direction of the arrow II, FIG. 3 shows an alternative surface component in cross section in exploded illustration.FIG. 1 shows a surface light 2 in a lateral cross section and in an exploded view. The surface light 2 delimits the cabin 4 as part of the wall, for which reason the surface light 2 is installed with a visible side 6, from which persons who are present in the cabin 4 are looking at the surface light 2, oriented in the intended direction towards the cabin 4. The surface light is therefore part of a wall section 38 of the cabin 4.The surface light 2 extends in or along an extension surface 8, which is why the extension surface 8 is also a plane extending in FIG. 1 perpendicular to the plane of the sheet. The surface light 2 includes a diffuser plate 10 which also extends along the extension surface 8. In a direction 12 perpendicular to the extension surface 8, the diffuser plate 10 has a plurality of layers 14 of respective scattering layers 16. Each of the scattering layers is formed by a glass fleece. The scattering layers 16 are here likewise embodied planar in the form of sheets or layers. In the direction 12, an intermediate layer of an adhesive film 16 is arranged or introduced between each two adjacent scattering layers 16. In other words, the scattering layers 16 and adhesive films 18 are alternately layered on top of one another in the direction 12. The adhesive films 18 are used to bond two adjacent scattering layers 16 to one another over the entire surface. Symbolically, one of the adhesive films 18 is shown separately next to the diffuser plate 10, wherein this is actually integrated in the diffuser plate 10.The diffuser plate 10 has two opposing flat sides 20 a, bin the direction 12.On the first flat side 20 a, which here faces the visible side 6, a cover layer 22 is applied to the diffuser plate 10. The cover layer 22 is bonded or fastened to the diffuser plate 10 by means of a first adhesive layer 24.On the second flat side 20 b, a luminescent layer 26 is attached to the diffuser plate 10. The luminous layer 26 is also bonded to the diffuser plate 10 by means of a second adhesive layer 28.The luminous layer 26 contains a plurality of luminous elements 30 on a carrier layer 31, here a flex circuit board, wherein in each case two adjacent luminous elements 30 have a distance A from one another.FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the luminous layer 26 in the direction of the arrow II in FIG. 1, in the example the luminous elements 30 are arranged on grid points of a square grid having a grid width in the form of the distance A. Each of the light-emitting elements 30 is a multicolor light-emitting element which in each case contains four LEDs of the colors red, green, blue and white, which are not shown in detail. Each of the light-emitting elements 30 can be controlled individually and can emit light of a desired color. In this respect, the surface luminaire 2 is an individually actuatable color luminaire. The light 32 emitted by the light-emitting elements 30 (indicated by an arrow in FIG. 1 ) penetrates the layers shown in FIG. 1 in the arrow direction, and is thereby scattered at the scattering layers 16, which is symbolized by kinked arrows in FIG. 1. Thus, the light 32 leaves the cover layer 22 on the viewing side 6 in a harmonised, scattered or distributed manner. Thus, viewed from the cabin 4 to the viewing side 6, the latter appears as a uniformly illuminated surface. Individual "light spots" in the form of the light elements 30 can therefore no longer be seen. The surface luminaire 2 is a pattern luminaire here, since different light or lighting patterns can be generated on the visible side 6 by controlling the lighting elements 30.The luminescent layer 26 is permanently attached to the diffuser plate 10 in a dust-tight manner, namely with the aid of the second adhesive layer 28 which seals around the luminescent layer 26 or diffuser plate 10 in the circumferential direction. In the example, the following applies: The surface light 2 here forms an LED surface for the aircraft cabin. All structures described here pass the heat release test. The luminous layer 26 is in the form of a 16 mm pitch (distance A is 16 mm) LED circuit board in the background here.FIGS. 1 and 2 show a first structure: Bonding with a glass surface using epoxy adhesive. The layer construction here is as follows, materials being selected purely by way of example and also being replaceable by other materials:Coverslip. 22: Thin glassSchott thin glass D 263 T eco 0.21 mm0,2111. Klebst. 28: AdhesiveScotch Weld 72360,11A light sign. 26: LED sheetP16 LED polyimide flexprint foil31Alternatively, FIGS. 1 and 2 show a second structure: with a glass surface with hot-melt bonding. The layer construction is then:Coverslip. 22: Thin glassThin glass D 263 T eco 0.21 mm0,2111. Klebst. 28: AdhesiveScotch Weld 72360,11A light sign. 26: LED sheetP16 LED polyimide flexprint foil31Due to the wide distance A between the LEDs, in both variants (epoxy adhesive and hot melt bonding) a large overall height H must be achieved in order to avoid pixeliness (non-uniformity of the radiated light on the visible side 6). In these constructions, about 16 mm. Constructions with a height H of approximately 20 mm and correspondingly more layers / or are constructed in a vertically layered manner for weight and effectiveness reasons are also conceivable.FIG. 3 shows an alternative surface luminaire 2. the cover layer 22 is here a film or film layer made of pressed PVDF foam. The lighting elements 30 here have a distance A of 5 mm from one another. The luminous layer 26 is therefore here a 5 mm pitch (distance A) LED printed circuit board in the background. For the thinner structures with an overall height H of less than 10 mm, a fire retardant as a fire retardant layer 36 is obligatory in order to slow down the fire event and to prevent rapid "outer skin" burn-off.A third construction results with a film surface as the cover layer 22 with the following construction:Coverslip. 22: PDVF foamZotek F38 HAT according to standard ABS 57540,511. Klebst. 28: AdhesiveScotch Weld 72360,11A light sign. 26: LED sheetP16 LED polyimide flexprint foil31Due to the significantly shorter distance A (5 mm) of the LEDs from one another on the P5 board, a significantly smaller overall height H can be used here in order to conceal the pixelity. The foam additionally conceals the pixelity only slightly. For this reason, the thickness of the structure (overall height H) must be somewhat greater than in the case of the other "thin" structures. Here: 7 mm without printed circuit boards height (luminous layer 26).Alternatively, FIG. 3 shows a fourth construction with a fabric surface as the cover layer 22:Coverslip. 22: fabricMats & Amman Mat No. 392620,311. In addition, the fabric helps. Thus, a flatter construction can be realized here than in the other concepts. In this construction, a construction height (construction height H) of 5 mm with material (without blank) is sufficient. The P5 film can also be used as a display.Alternatively, FIG. 3 shows a fifth construction with prepreg surface (paintable) as cover layer 22:Coverslip. 22: prepregCM-Preg F-120 105 / 1270 CP ENOVA resin system0,211. The surface does not laminate the pixels as well as the fabric and the overall height H must therefore be designed to be somewhat thicker, here 6 mm. This surface of the cover layer 22 can also be painted, as is the conventional panels. In these embodiments, i.e. if the surface luminaire 2 has a prepreg surface on the visible side 6, this can be painted, which is indicated in FIG. 3 by a further paint layer 34 indicated by dashed lines. In this case, the surface luminaire 2 is thus indeed still closed off by the cover layer 22 towards the visible side 6, wherein the cover layer 22 here contains the lacquer layer 34. In other words, the cover layer 22 now consists of a painted prepreg.List of reference characters2 Surface luminaire 4 Cabin 6 Visible side 8 Extension surface 10 Diffuser plate 12 Direction 16 Scattering layer 18 Adhesive film 20 a,b Flat side 22 Covering layer 24 First adhesive layer (covering layer) 26 Luminous layer 28 Second adhesive layer (luminous layer) 30 Luminous element 31 Carrier layer 32 Light 34 Paint layer 36 Fire retardant layer 38 Wall section A Distance H Overall heightReferences included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
