Description

The present invention relates to a wiper arm for a wiper device and a method for producing a wiper arm.Prior ArtFrom the prior art, wiper arms for a wiper device are already known. The attachment of a wiper arm to a vehicle is usually realized with a pivot pin and a hexagonal nut. The wiper arm has a through-opening. The pivot pin has a thread and a corrugated surface which has a conical profile. The wiper arm is pushed with its through-opening onto the pivot pin. Subsequently, a hex nut is screwed to the pivot pin from an upper side with a tool. The hexagonal nut thereby presses the wiper arm in the direction of the corrugated surface of the pivot pin. This produces a form-fit and force-fit connection in the through opening of the wiper arm with the pivot pin. In this known embodiment it is consequently necessary to screw the hexagonal nut on the pivot pin with a tool. Furthermore, it may occur that the hexagonal nut loosens over time. As a result, it may be necessary to retract the hexagonal nut again after a certain time in order to ensure a stable connection of the pivot pin to the wiper arm. Consequently, when mounting the wiper arm on a vehicle, a tool is therefore required in order to enable the necessary connection between the wiper arm and the pivot pin.Disclosure of the InventionIt is therefore an object of the invention to provide an improved wiper arm for a wiper device. The wiper arm has in particular the task of being simply fastened to the wiper device, that is to say without requiring special tools, and at the same time of ensuring a stable and long-lived connection between the pivot pin and the wiper arm. This object is achieved by means of a wiper arm according to patent claim 1, a pivot pin according to patent claim 12 and a method according to patent claim 15. Advantageous embodiments are given in the dependent claims.According to one aspect of the invention, a wiper arm for a wiper device is provided, having a connecting section and having a connecting element. A receiving opening is provided on the connecting portion. The receiving opening serves for receiving a pivot pin, wherein the receiving opening extends along a Z direction and wherein the receiving opening has a contact surface for a form-fit and / or force-fit connection with the pivot pin. The connecting element has a latching surface, wherein the latching surface is configured to press the pivot pin against the contact surface in the Z direction with a prestressing force. This embodiment has the advantage that no hexagonal nut or the like is required for connecting the wiper arm to the pivot pin. With the aid of the connecting element and the prestressing force, it is possible to fasten the wiper arm to the pivot pin without additional tools. Consequently, this configuration provides the advantage that it is possible to connect the wiper arm to the pivot pin in a quick and uncomplicated manner. In a further embodiment, the connecting element has a through-opening in the Z direction. The latching surface is provided adjacent to the through-opening, wherein the connecting element abuts against a support surface on the connecting portion. In addition, the connecting element is formed elastically in the Z direction in order to generate a prestressing force. The prestressing force is at least so great that the pivot pin is pressed positively and / or non-positively against the contact surface of the wiper arm.In a further embodiment, the connecting element consists of an at least partially elastic material. Furthermore, the connecting element is designed to expand in the region of the through-opening by a force effect in the Z direction in order to guide the opposing surface of the pivot pin through the through-opening and to reversibly deform it. The widening of the through-opening is at least so large that the counter surface of the pivot pin can be guided through the through-opening.In a further embodiment, the connecting element has a first insertion bevel at the through-opening in the Z direction, wherein the first insertion bevel has a conical shape with a cross section running perpendicular to the Z direction. In this case, the latching surface is provided on the first insertion bevel in a transverse direction. A second insertion bevel extends further from the latching surface in the Z direction, wherein the second insertion bevel has a conical shape with a cross section running perpendicular to the Z direction. This embodiment offers the advantage that the pivot pin can be easily connected to the connecting element and the counter surface forms a stable connection with the latching surface. In a further embodiment, the connecting element has the shape of a disk or perforated disk, for example a circular disk, and is in particular designed as a rotationally symmetrical component. This offers the advantage that the connecting element can be manufactured using conventional and cost-effective manufacturing methods. In a further embodiment, a recess for receiving the connecting element is provided on the connecting section. The recess is arranged transversely to the Z direction and at least on opposite sides of the receiving opening. The recess serves in particular to hold the connecting element on the connecting section in the X and Z directions. This offers the advantage that the connecting element can be held on the connecting section via a positive fit in the X and Z directions. Preferably, no additional fastening means are required to hold the connecting element on the connecting section. In a further embodiment, the recess has an insertion opening, wherein the insertion opening has a first width along the X direction, wherein the first width of the insertion opening is smaller than the width of the recess along the X direction. As a result, an undercut is formed in the connecting portion, wherein the first width of the insertion opening is smaller than a second width of the connecting element along the X direction. The connecting element can be inserted into the recess via the insertion opening, wherein the connecting element is then held in the connecting section in the Y direction via the undercut. This embodiment offers the advantage that the connecting element is held in the connecting section not only in the X and Z directions, but can also be held in the Y direction. The undercut can be just so large that the connecting element deforms the insertion opening in the X direction with little force exertion, can be introduced and does not fall out of the insertion opening without additional force exertion. In a further embodiment, the receiving opening has, from a first side of the wiper arm in the Z direction, in a first section, a conical surface having a circular cross section perpendicular to the Z direction. Furthermore, the receiving opening has a cylindrical shape, in particular in the Z direction, adjoining the first section in a second section. This embodiment offers the advantage that the pivot pin can be positioned in the second section in the X and Y directions relative to the wiper arm. Furthermore, this results in the advantage that the pivot pin can be connected to the wiper arm in a force-fit and / or form-fit manner in a first section. In a further embodiment, a cutout is provided at the connecting portion, wherein the cutout extends from a second side of the wiper arm in the Z direction toward the receiving opening, wherein the cutout has a larger cross section perpendicular to the Z direction than the receiving opening. In this case, the cutout on the second side of the wiper arm is covered with a sealing cap. This embodiment offers the advantage that it is possible to press the wiper arm onto the pivot pin with an additional pressure piece in the Z direction. This may be particularly useful when a force applied by hand is not sufficient to push the pivot pin through the through opening of the connecting element. The sealing cap advantageously serves to protect the pivot pin from external influences, for example water. In a further embodiment, the wiper arm consists of a polymer material, in particular of a thermoplastic polymer material. This offers the advantage that the wiper arm can be produced particularly cost-effectively.In a further embodiment, the connecting element consists of a more rigid material than the connecting section, and in particular of a metal alloy or an aluminum alloy. This results in the advantage that the pivot pin is connected particularly stably in a form-fitting and / or force-fitting manner to the connecting element and the contact surface of the receiving opening. This makes it possible to achieve a long-lived connection. An improved connection of the wiper arm to a pivot pin can be achieved in that the pivot pin has a first contact region extending from a first side in the Z direction, wherein a second contact region further extends in the Z direction, wherein the second contact region is designed for a positive and / or non-positive connection to the contact surface of the wiper arm. Furthermore, a counter surface is provided on the pivot pin in a transverse direction to the second contact region, wherein the counter surface serves to latch with the latching surface of the connecting element. In an advantageous embodiment, a third contact surface further extends in a Z direction on the counter surface, wherein the third contact surface serves for guiding the pivot pin and for fixing the pivot pin to the connecting element in the X and Y directions. An improved windshield wiper contact may be provided by having a pivot pin and a wiper arm, the pivot pin being pressed against the contact surface of the wiper arm by a connecting element. The wiper arm can be produced particularly easily and cost-effectively by providing a mold, in particular an injection mold, with at least one cavity, the cavity being designed to correspond to the geometric configuration of the wiper arm. A liquid material is introduced into the cavity. The material is cured to form the wiper arm. This configuration has the advantage that the wiper arm can be produced particularly easily and cost-effectively in a single injection molding process. As a result, the wiper arm can also be produced in large numbers. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to figures. The pivot pin 20 can be connected, for example, to a drive, in particular an electric drive, which is not shown. The electric drive can be provided, for example, in a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle. The pivot pin 20 serves to transmit a rotational movement from the electric drive to the wiper arm 1. Wiper blades, not shown, can be mounted on the wiper arm 1. By means of the rotational movement transmitted from the pivot pin 20 to the wiper arm 1, the wiper device with the wiper blades can clean, for example, a windshield, in particular a windshield of a vehicle. The pivot pin 20 is connected to the wiper arm 1 in a form-fit and / or force-fit manner by means of the connecting element 40 for this purpose. By means of the form-fit and / or force-fit connection of the pivot pin 20 to the wiper arm 1, it is possible to realize a stable fastening and a transmission of the rotational movement from the electric drive via the pivot pin 20 to the wiper arm 1.FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the connecting portion 2 of the wiper arm 1.In the following figures, reference is made to a rectangular coordinate system. The coordinate system has an X direction (axis), a Y direction (axis) and a Z direction (axis). The wiper arm 1 has a receiving opening 3 at the connecting section 2. The receiving opening 3 extends along a Z direction. By way of example, the receiving opening 3 has a circular cross section perpendicular to the Z direction. Different cross-sectional shapes are conceivable for the receiving opening 3. The receiving opening 3 can also have a triangular, polygonal or oval cross section, for example. Furthermore, the receiving opening 3 has a contact surface 4 which is provided for a positive and / or non-positive connection to the pivot pin. In addition, a recess 6 can be provided on the connecting section 2. The recess 6 is arranged transversely to the Z direction and at least on two opposite sides of the receiving opening 3. The recess 6 serves in particular to hold the connecting element on the connecting section 2 in the X and Z directions. Furthermore, an insertion opening 7 can be provided on the recess 6. The insertion opening 7 has a first width 8 along the X axis. The first width 8 of the insertion opening 7 has a smaller width than the recess 6 along the X axis. With the aid of this geometric configuration, an undercut is formed in the connecting section 2. The undercut can serve to hold the connecting element on the connecting section 2 also in a Y direction. The wiper arm 1 can be manufactured, for example, from a flexible and elastic material. This material can be, for example, a polymer material, in particular a thermoplastic polymer material, wherein, for example, a polyamide or a polypropylene can be used. This allows the wiper arm 1 to have sufficient rigidity and, at the same time, sufficient elasticity. In addition, it is possible to manufacture the wiper arm 1 as an injection-molded component. This is particularly advantageous when a high number of pieces is required at low manufacturing costs.FIG. 3 shows a sectional view of the wiper arm 1 in the region of the connecting portion 2.The receiving opening 3 extends along a Z direction and has a contact surface 4. It is possible here for the receiving opening 3 to have a conical shape in the first section 9 from a first side 12 in the Z direction, which conical shape has a circular cross section perpendicular to the Z direction. Following the first section 9, the second section 10 can have a cylindrical shape in the Z direction, for example. The conical shape in the first section 9 can serve to ensure a positive and / or non-positive connection with the pivot pin. The cylindrical shape in the second portion 10 may serve to fix the pivot pin to the connecting portion 2 of the wiper arm 1 in an X and Y direction. The second section 10 thus serves to aid the positioning of the pivot pin on the connecting section 2 of the wiper arm 1. the recess 6 has, for example, a bearing surface 5. the recess 6 and the bearing surface 5 serve to hold the connecting element on the connecting section 2 in an X and in a Z direction. By way of example, the bearing surface 5 extends inward in the X direction as far as the bearing surface 4, it would also be possible for the bearing surface 5 to extend inward to a lesser extent in the X direction. It is also possible that the recess 6 does not have any support surface 5 at all, but is open in a Z direction. It would then be possible to fasten the connecting element to the recess 6 by means of adhesive or welding to the connecting section 2. In this exemplary embodiment, the support surface 5 is present. As a result, an adhesive can be dispensed with for fixing the connecting element in a Z direction. The connecting element can thus be held on the connecting section 2 via the shape of the recess 6 and the bearing surface 5.FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the connector 40 for the wiper arm.In this exemplary embodiment, the connecting element 40 is designed as a rotationally symmetrical component. The connecting element 40 has a basic shape 48 and is exemplarily embodied as a disk, in particular as a circular disk. The connecting element 40 has a surface 46. The basic shape 48 and / or the surface 46 serve for the connection element 40 to be able to be fastened to the connection section of the wiper arm. The connecting element 40 has, by way of example, a through-opening 42 in the Z direction. In addition, the connecting element 40 has a second width 45. The second width 45 is wider in an X direction than the first width of the insertion opening of the wiper arm. This makes it possible for the connecting element 40 to be held in the connecting portion of the wiper arm also in a Y direction. Furthermore, the connecting element 40 has a first insertion bevel 43, a latching surface and a second insertion bevel 44 in the Z direction adjoining the through-opening 42. The connecting element 40 is made, for example, at least of a partially elastic material, wherein the connecting element 40 is designed to expand in the region of the through-opening 42 by a force effect in the Z direction. By way of example, the connecting element 40 can consist, for example, of a metal alloy or an aluminum alloy. The connecting element 40 is preferably made of a more rigid material than the connecting section of the wiper arm.FIG. 5 shows a sectional view of the connecting element 40 shown in FIG. 4.The connecting element 40 again has, for example, a first insertion bevel 43 at the passage opening 42 in the Z direction. The first insertion slope 43 may have a conical shape with a cross section running perpendicular to the Z direction. Further, a locking surface 41 extends in a transverse direction on the first insertion slope 43. the locking surface 41 serves to press the pivot pin in a Z direction with a biasing force against the contact surface of the wiper arm. The connecting element 40 is also formed in the region of its through-opening 42 in such a way that the through-opening 42 can be widened by means of the pivot pin and can be reversibly deformed by a force effect in a Z direction. Furthermore, a second insertion bevel 44 can extend on the latching surface 41 in the Z direction. The second insertion bevel 44 can have a conical shape with a cross section running perpendicular to the Z direction. The second lead-in slope 44 can serve as an additional fixing and as a guide for facilitating the mounting with the pivot pin when the wiper arm is mounted, for example on a vehicle. The connecting element 40 has, for example only, the first insertion bevel 43 and the second insertion bevel 44. In the event that no lead-in slopes are present, the latching surface 41 would be provided on a surface 46 of the connecting element.FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the pivot pin 20 for the wiper arm.The pivot pin 20 is exemplarily manufactured as a rotationally symmetrical component and has a circular cross section. The pivot pin 20 can also be designed as a non-rotationally symmetrical component. It is also possible for the pivot pin 20 to have a square, an oval or else a triangular cross section. By way of example, the pivot pin 20 has, from a first end 22 in the Z direction, a first bearing region 23, a second bearing region 24, a counter-surface 21 and a third bearing region 25.FIG. 7 is a sectional view of the pivot pin 20.The pivot pin 20 has a first contact region 23 extending in the Z-direction from a first end 22. The first abutment region 23 has, for example, a cylindrical shape. This first abutment portion 23 serves to fix the pivot pin 20 in an X and a Y direction in the receiving opening of the wiper arm. The first contact region 23 can also be dispensed with. Furthermore, a second contact region 24 extends in the Z direction, adjoining the first contact region 23, The second contact region 24 has a conical cross section running in the Z direction. The second contact region 24 serves for a positive and / or non-positive connection with the contact surface of the wiper arm. The second abutment region 24 can also have other shapes. For this purpose, the second contact region 24 can also have a corrugated structure 26, for example. The corrugated structure 26 serves to be able to penetrate into the contact surface of the wiper arm and thus to form a particularly firm and stable connection with the wiper arm. Furthermore, the pivot pin 20 can have a counter surface 21, wherein the counter surface 21 is provided on the second contact region 24 in a transverse direction to the Z direction. The counter surface 21 serves to latch with the latching surface of the connecting element. Furthermore, a third contact region 25 can extend on the counter surface 21 on the pivot pin 20 in the Z direction. The third contact region 25 has, for example, a conical cross section running with respect to the Z axis. The third contact region 25 can serve, for example, to improve the guidance of the pivot pin 20 and to fix it in an X and Y direction of the pivot pin 20 to the connecting element. The third contact region 25 can also be dispensed with. The pivot pin 20 has a crisis-round cross section in this exemplary embodiment. The pivot pin 20 is not limited to having a round cross section. The pivot pin 20 can also have, for example, a square, a triangular or else an oval cross section. The pivot pin 20 is preferably formed of a more rigid material than the connecting portion of the wiper arm. The pivot pin 20 may be made of, for example, a metal alloy or an aluminum alloy.FIG. 8 is a sectional view of the wiper arm 1, the link member 40, and the pivot pin 20 in the mounted state. For assembly, the wiper arm 1 and the connecting element 40 are pressed onto the pivot pin 20 with a force F in the Z direction. The connecting element 40 is formed in the region of its through-opening 42 such that it is widened by the pivot pin 20. This makes it possible to guide the pivot pin 20 with its counter surface 21 through the connecting element 40, in particular the through opening 42. The connecting element 40 reversibly returns to its original shape after passing through the pivot pin 20. Thereby, the opposing surface 21 of the pivot pin 20 and the latching surface 41 of the connecting element 40 can form a stable connection with each other in the Z direction. The connecting section 2 of the wiper arm 1 in this embodiment is designed analogously to the embodiment described in FIG. 3. The receiving opening 3 has the first section 9 and the second section 10. The second section 10 has a cylindrical shape. The first section 9 has a conically extending cross section in the Z direction. The connecting element 40 essentially comprises the embodiment of the connecting element 40 described in FIG. 5. The connecting element 40 has the first insertion bevel 43, the second insertion bevel 44, the through opening 42 and the latching surface 41. the pivot pin 20 has substantially the geometric shape of the pivot pin 20 shown in FIG. 7. The pivot pin 20 has the first abutment portion 23, the second abutment portion 24 and the third abutment portion 25.The connecting member 40 is held in the connecting portion 2 of the wiper arm 1. In this embodiment, the wiper arm 1 has a recess 6, in which the connecting element 40 rests and is held on a bearing surface 5. On the wiper arm 1 and in particular on the connecting portion 2, a cutout 11 is provided in this embodiment. The cutout 11 extends from a second side 13 of the wiper arm 1 in the Z direction toward the receiving opening 3. The recess 11 has a larger cross section perpendicular to the Z direction than the receiving opening 3. The recess 11 can serve to transmit a force to the wiper arm 1. This serves in particular to facilitate the mounting of the wiper arm 1 with the pivot pin 20. The sealing cap is mounted on the recess 11 on a second side 13 of the wiper arm. This sealing cap serves for example to prevent water from entering into the connection of the pivot pin 20 with the wiper arm 1.The pivot pin 20 is fixed at its first contact region 23 with the second section 10 of the wiper arm 1 in the X and Y directions. The first section 9 of the contact surface 4 and the second contact region 24 of the pivot pin 20 are connected to one another in a form-fitting and / or force-fitting manner by the prestressing force via the latching of the pivot pin 20 and the connecting element 40. This realizes transmission of the torque from the pivot pin 20 to the wiper arm 1. It is also possible for the pivot pin 20 to have a corrugated structure on the second contact region 24. The corrugated structure is then pressed into the contact surface 4 with the aid of the prestressing force. This embodiment shows a simple, quick and stable connection of a wiper arm 1 to connecting element 40 at a pivot pin 20, which can serve for transmitting a torque for a wiper system. The wiper system can be mounted on a motor vehicle, for example.FIG. 9 shows a sectional view of the wiper arm 1, a further connecting element 40 and the pivot pin 20 in the mounted state. The mounting of the wiper arm 1 and its connecting element 40 with the pivot pin 20 takes place analogously to the mounting described in FIG. 8. The wiper arm 1 is pressed at its connecting portion 2 onto the pivot pin 20 with the aid of a force F.The connecting section 2 has a receiving opening 3 in the Z direction. The receiving opening 3 again has a contact surface 4 and a first section 9 and a second section 10. In this exemplary embodiment, the connecting element 40 is fastened to the first side 12 of the wiper arm 1 by way of example with the aid of a connecting layer 47. The connection layer 47 can be an adhesive layer, for example. The connecting element 40 again has a through opening 42 in the Z direction. In this embodiment, the latching surface 41 is provided on the surface 46 of the connecting element 40 at the through opening 42. The connecting element 40 further has a first insertion slope 43 in the Z direction in this embodiment. The connecting element 40 is again designed such that it can expand and reversibly deform by a force effect in the Z direction, in the region of the through-opening 42.The pivot pin 20 is substantially analogous to the pivot pin 20 shown in FIG. 7. The pivot pin 20 has a first analysis region 23 extending in the Z-direction from its first end 22, a second contact region 24 and a third contact region 25. The first abutment portion 23 serves to position and fix the pivot pin 20 to the wiper arm 1 in an X and Y direction. For this purpose, it is formed complementary to the second section 10 of the receiving opening 3. The first section 9 of the receiving opening 3 is formed complementary to the second contact region 24 of the pivot pin 20 and is formed for a positive and / or non-positive connection. Via the latching surface 41 of the connecting element and the counter-surface 21 of the pivot pin 20, the pivot pin 20 is pressed with a biasing force against the contact surface 4, or against the first section 9 and the second section 10 of the wiper arm 1. The third analysis region 25 of the pivot pin 20 is designed to be complementary to the first insertion bevel 43 of the connecting element 40. This embodiment shows a further possibility for a simple, quick and stable connection of a wiper arm 1 to connecting element 40 at a pivot pin 20, which connection can preferably be used again for transmitting a torque for a wiper device. The wiper device can be mounted on a motor vehicle, for example, and can serve for cleaning a windshield.
