Description

The present invention relates to a sanitary installation having a sanitary tub with a drain opening for dirty water and a drain fixed to the drain opening with an odor trap, wherein the drain has a housing with an inlet channel between an outer housing wall and an inner partition wall which is connected via a lower deflection in the housing to a baffle channel which is at least partially surrounded by a baffle wall which is arranged with an upper overflow edge above the drain opening of the sanitary tub, and dirty water can flow from the baffle channel via the overflow edge into a drain channel in the housing which opens into a drain pipe.EP 4 230 813 A1 discloses a drain fitting for a sanitary tub which is mounted under a drain opening of the sanitary tub. The drain fitting is arranged in a housing below the sanitary tub and can be cleaned via the drain opening. Drain fittings of this type have proven themselves in practice, but the comparatively high construction in the vertical direction is disadvantageous.EP 2 258 905 B1 discloses a drain for sanitary devices, in which a housing with a baffle is arranged within a drain opening of the sanitary trough. As a result, dirty water can flow from an annular inlet channel into a storage area, wherein the dirty water is conducted to an outflow collecting channel via a deflection element engaging in the storage area. The guidance of the dirty water by the deflecting element from the build-up region into the drain collecting channel leads to a forced guidance and to an increase in the water column, which is disadvantageous especially in flat shower trays and reduces the drain performance. In addition, flow-calm zones are formed in the housing, which can easily contaminate. It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a sanitary installation in which dirty water can be discharged from a sanitary tub through a drain with high drain capacity and in addition a particularly compact structure in the vertical direction is provided. This object is achieved with a sanitary installation having the features of claim 1.In the sanitary installation according to the invention, a sanitary tub comprises a drain opening for dirty water and a drain fixed to the drain opening and having an odor trap, wherein the drain has a housing with an inlet channel between an outer housing wall and an inner partition wall, which is connected to a storage channel via a lower deflection in the housing. The build-up channel is at least partially surrounded by a build-up wall which is arranged with an upper overflow edge above the outlet opening of the sanitary tub and dirty water can flow from the build-up channel via the overflow edge into an outlet channel in the housing, which outlet channel opens out in an outlet pipe. In this case, a free space is formed in a horizontal plane above the overflow edge, in which free space the overflowing dirty water can be distributed, so that the free space can be used for optimized outflow of the dirty water without guide devices hindering the outflow of dirty water and ensuring a suction effect, which leads to an increased water column and a reduced outflow capacity. No guide element engages in the outlet channel in the free space, so that an optimized outlet situation can be achieved. In particular, the suction of dirty water via the guide elements and a water column is avoided. The free space enables a distribution of the overflowing dirty water in the horizontal direction without the disadvantageous influence by corresponding guide elements.Preferably, the free space is laterally bounded by the inner partition wall of the inlet channel. The free space can have a height between 5 mm and 20 mm and be substantially disk-shaped. The free space can be closed on an upper side by a cover, which preferably has a substantially planar lower side. This reduces an influence on the flow behavior of the dirty water in the region of the flow around the overflow edge, which increases the outflow performance. The cover on the upper side of the free space preferably projects beyond the housing in the horizontal direction, so that, viewed from above in a plan view, the cover covers the housing at least in the region of the outer housing wall. The outer housing wall can be arranged lower in the vertical direction than the baffle wall, so that a water level, which is substantially at the height of the baffle wall, is arranged above the outer housing wall and can then be covered over the cover, which ensures a more appealing appearance to the user. The dirty water can flow from the sanitary tub through a gap between the cover and a depression around the outlet opening into the inlet channel of the outlet. The gap between an outer end of the cover and the smallest distance from the sanitary tub can be arranged in the region of the depression, wherein the gap can be oriented inclined to the horizontal if the cover is arranged slightly over a transition between a shower surface of the sanitary tub and the depression. Such an arrangement of the cover enables a very compact structure in the vertical direction. The height of the outlet between an upper side of the cover and a lower side of the housing can be less than 90 mm, for example between 70 mm and 80 mm.For a stable construction, the cover is supported on the partition wall. For this purpose, the cover can have latching means or holding means on the underside, which interact with corresponding holding devices on the partition wall.In a further embodiment, at least one vent opening is provided on the partition wall towards the free space, so that it is prevented that a reduced pressure is generated by the water column when dirty water flows off via the baffle wall. For this purpose, at least one vent opening can be provided on the partition wall, preferably on the upper edge towards the cover.A horizontal plane on the overflow edge of the baffle is preferably arranged in the region of a depression around the outlet opening. The depression is positioned within a shower surface which is equipped, for example, with a gradient of approximately 2% toward the outlet opening. In the region of the depression, on the other hand, a clearly greater gradient is formed toward the outlet opening, for example between 10% and 80%. This results in a cup-shaped structure in the region of the depression, in which the water level is built up corresponding to the height of the overflow edge. This region in the depression is preferably covered over more than 50% by the cover of the drain, so that the water level is hardly visible from the outside. The housing preferably has a cylindrical outer housing wall and a cylindrical separating wall, arranged in particular concentrically, within the outer housing wall and projecting upward beyond the outer housing wall. Within the cylindrical partition wall, a pipe socket is preferably arranged, which forms a baffle wall for the baffle channel. In this case, the baffle channel can optionally be formed by an annular gap between the partition wall and the pipe socket or the baffle channel is arranged within the pipe socket. The dirty water can then flow from the storage channel into the drain channel and from there into a drain pipe, which preferably protrudes laterally on the housing wall. The invention is explained in detail below with reference to two exemplary embodiments. The following are shown: FIG. 1 shows a sectional view through a sanitary installation according to a first exemplary embodiment, and FIG. 2 shows a sectional view of a sanitary installation according to a second exemplary embodiment.A sanitary installation 1 comprises a sanitary tub 2, for example a shower tub or a bathtub, which has a substantially horizontal shower surface or seating surface with a slight gradient towards a drain opening 4. Around the outlet opening 4 a depression 3 is provided which is of annular design and has a significantly greater inclination with respect to the horizontal and thus forms a cup-shaped receptacle. The depression 3 is adjoined by an inner, substantially horizontal section 5 for fixing a drain 10.The drain 10 comprises a housing having a substantially cylindrical outer housing wall 11 provided at the top with a flange 12 for attachment to the horizontal portion 5 of the recess 3. A sealing element can be arranged between the flange 12 and the section 5.The housing of the drain 10 further comprises a bottom 13 oriented substantially horizontally. Inside the outer housing wall 11 an inner partition wall 14 is provided, which is also arranged cylindrically. The inner partition wall 14 does not extend as far as the bottom 13, but is arranged at a distance therefrom. The inner partition wall 14 extends upwardly beyond the outer housing wall 11. A cover 7 is supported at the upper end of the inner partition wall 14.Inside the partition wall 14, a baffle 15 is arranged, which is designed as a pipe socket. The baffle 15 has an overflow edge 16 at the top which defines the level of water which is held within the drain 10 and forms an odor trap. A drain pipe 17 is also laterally connected to the housing of the drain 10, which drain pipe can be connected to further drain pipes.Dirty water flowing out of the sanitary tub 2 is introduced through a gap 20 between the cover 7 and the transition between shower surface and depression 3 into an annular inlet channel 21 between the partition wall 14 and the outer housing wall 11. From the annular inlet channel 21, the dirty water flows through a lower deflection 22 between the bottom 13 and a connecting wall between the partition wall 14 and the baffle wall 15 into a baffle channel 23, which is formed by the baffle wall 15 in the form of a pipe socket. The baffle 15 is cylindrical and has an upper overflow edge 16, which is arranged in the region of the depression 3 and thus projects upward beyond the plane of the outlet opening 4. As a result, a water level is arranged in the region of the depression 3. The dirty water is conducted from the storage channel 23 via the overflow edge 16 into a free space 26 above the plane of the overflow edge 16. This free space is free of flow guiding elements and is bounded on the side by the partition wall 14. The free space 26 is delimited at the top by a lower side 9 of the cover 7, wherein the height of the free space 26 can be between 5 mm and 20 mm, for example, in order to enable a high drainage performance. Through this free space 26, the dirty water from the storage channel 23 can be distributed freely in the free space 26 and reaches an annular outlet channel 24 which is arranged around the cylindrical storage wall 15. From the drain channel 24, the dirty water is then conducted to a drain channel 25 within the drain tube 17.The sanitary installation 1 has a very low height, in particular in the vertical direction. The baffle wall 23 in the form of the pipe socket has a height H of between 30 mm and 60 mm, in particular 40 mm to 51 mm. A plane of the overflow edge 16 is at least 5 mm higher than the plane of the outlet opening 4, for example 7 mm to 15 mm higher. The extension of the outlet 10 from the base 13 to the outlet opening 4 with the height h 1 is preferably between 30 mm and 50 mm. Accordingly, the shower surface of the sanitary tub 2 adjacent to the depression may be at a height H 2 between 50 mm and 70 mm.Preferably, the cover 7 is arranged with an upper side 8 at the level of a tile floor 6 which surrounds the sanitary tub 2. The base 13 of the outlet 10 can be arranged less than 100 mm below the top side of the tile base 6, for example at a height h 3 between 65 mm and 80 mm.In FIG. 2 a modified embodiment of a sanitary installation 1' is shown, which comprises a modified outlet 10'. Identical components are provided with the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1. The essential difference is that the outlet 10' has a baffle 15 which extends as far as the bottom 13. As a result, the dirty water flowing in via the gap 20 is conducted into the inlet channel 21 to a lower deflection 22' which flows around only a lower end face of the separating wall 14. The dirty water then passes from the lower deflection 22' into an annular baffle channel 23' which is arranged around the baffle wall 15. The dirty water then flows over an overflow edge 16 of the baffle 15 and reaches a discharge channel 24' which is arranged within the cylindrical baffle 15. The dirty water then passes from the outlet channel 24' into the further outlet channel 25 in the outlet pipe 17. In this arrangement too, the dirty water is accumulated in a accumulating channel 23' through the accumulating wall 15 as far as the overflow edge 16, a disc-shaped free space 26 without flow guide elements being formed above the overflow edge 16, which free space makes possible a distribution of the dirty water. To increase the stability, the inner partition wall 14 and the baffle wall 15 can be connected to the outer housing wall 11 and the partition wall 14, respectively, via one or more radial webs.In order to be able to supply the free space 26 with air if required, at least one venting opening can be provided on the partition wall 14 above the overflow edge 16, which venting opening makes it possible to supply air in the event of a pressure drop.In the illustrated embodiments, the outlet 10 and 10' is provided with a cup-shaped and a cylindrical outer housing wall 11. It is of course possible to change the geometry of the outlet depending on the design of the outlet opening 4.The cover 7 is preferably removable to allow the drain 10 and 10' to be cleaned from above.List of reference characters1, 1' Sanitary installation 2 Sanitary tub 3 Depression 4 Outlet opening 5 Horizontal section 6 Tile base 7 Cover 8 Upper side 9 Underside 10 Outlet 11 Outer housing wall 12 Flange 13 Base 14 Separating wall 15 Baffle wall 16 Overflow edge 17 Outlet pipe 20 Gap 21 Inlet channel 22, 22' Deflection 23, 23' Baffle channel 24, 24' Outlet channel 25 Outlet channel 26 Free space H Height h 1 Height h 2 Height h 3 HeightReferences included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
