AI Technical Summary
Existing printed circuit board arrangements with THT fitting suffer from mechanical instability due to bending of connection elements, which weakens the material and increases the risk of breakage under mechanical loads such as vibrations.
A stabilizing bore is formed adjacent to the contact bore, lined with solderable material, and the connection element is bent towards this bore, with additional solder applied to mechanically connect to the stabilizing bore, forming a continuous soldering surface on the upper side of the board.
This configuration enhances mechanical stability of the soldered-on electronic components, reducing the likelihood of breakage at bending points and improving resistance to mechanical loads.
