Description

[0001] Cleaning wipes are typically made of a uniform material with a continuous surface. However, most commercially available wipes don't offer particularly strong abrasive cleaning performance and are therefore unsuitable for stubborn dirt.

[0002] The present invention relates to a novel cleaning cloth that solves this problem by combining a polishing side (1) for sensitive surfaces with a specially structured scrubbing side (2). Due to the special material selection and processing, the scrubbing side (2) offers a significantly improved abrasive cleaning effect, reliably removing even stubborn dirt.

[0003] The two sides are connected by a flexible connection method, which consists either of a seam (6), an adhesive surface (5) or a combination of both.

[0004] The cleaning cloth can also be produced in other designs: • One side may have an ordinary, untreated surface. • Both sides can be designed as scrubbing sides (2) to enable particularly strong abrasive cleaning.

[0005] The invention is based on the problem to provide a cleaning cloth suitable for both delicate and heavily soiled surfaces without the user having to change different cloths.

[0006] This problem is solved by the features listed in claim 1.

[0007] The invention enables versatile cleaning through the combination of polishing and scrubbing sides. The robust scrubbing side (2) removes even stubborn dirt, while the polishing side (1) protects delicate surfaces. Furthermore, the flexible connection method enables a durable and adaptable construction.

[0008] An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the scrubbing side (2) is provided with a thermally or otherwise hardened, embossed pattern (4). This increases the cleaning effect and ensures a longer service life of the cleaning cloth. The pattern can also be reinforced or stabilized using alternative methods to further optimize functionality.

[0009] An embodiment of the invention is described with reference to Fig. 1 to 2 explained.

[0010] They show: • Fig. 1: Cross section of the cleaning cloth with polishing side (1), scrubbing side (2), untreated surface (3), treated scrubbing surface (4), adhesive layer (5) and seam (6). • Fig. 2: Front view of the scrubbing side with thermally or otherwise hardened, embossed pattern (4).

Claims

[1] Cleaning cloth, consisting of: • a polishing side (1) made of a material for the gentle cleaning of sensitive surfaces, • a scrubbing side (2) which is divided into treated scrubbing areas (4) and untreated areas (3). [2] Cleaning cloth according to claim 1, wherein the treated scrubbing surfaces (4) are thermally embossed or otherwise hardened and applied by another fabric such as nylon or adhesive to achieve an abrasive cleaning action. [3] Cleaning cloth according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the polishing side (1) and the scrubbing side (2) are connected by an adhesive surface (5). [4] Cleaning cloth according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the polishing side (1) and the scrubbing side (2) are connected by a seam (6). [5] Cleaning cloth according to claim 3 or 4, wherein the connection is made by both an adhesive surface (5) and a seam (6) to ensure maximum stability. [6] Cleaning cloth according to one of the preceding claims, which is variable in dimensions (length, width, thickness). [7] Cleaning cloth according to one of the preceding claims, which is wash-resistant up to 100 °C. [8] Cleaning cloth according to one of the preceding claims, characterized by that at least one side remains untreated or both sides can be designed as scrubbing sides (2) in order to achieve increased cleaning performance. [9] A cleaning cloth according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the size, thickness, bonding method and pattern are variable to meet different requirements. [10] Cleaning cloth according to one of the preceding claims, wherein both sides can be adapted independently of each other in their choice of material and structure, so that both a double polishing surface and a double scrubbing surface or a combination of both is possible.
