Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a kit for producing a washbasin, which comprises a base body, which in particular has hard foam, with an upper depression, the bottom of which forms a gradient in the direction of a drain opening formed in the depression, and a dewatering device, which has a drain which is designed for insertion into the drain opening. The invention further relates to a washbasin produced from such a kit.Kits for producing a washbasin are fundamentally known in the prior art. Merely by way of example, mention may be made here of the products "LAVADO-FLOAT L" from Lux Elements GmbH & Co KG and "Sanbath" from WEDI GmbH. These kits comprise a base body provided with an upper recess, the bottom of which forms a slope towards a drain opening formed in the recess. The base body is produced from a single rigid foam block, into which the depression together with the gradient is introduced by foaming into a corresponding mold or by milling. Apart from the rear side, the main outer surfaces are provided with a mineral coating which promotes adhesion of thin-bed mortar or filler material as adhesion-promoting layer. Accordingly, the wash basins can be spatulaed or coated with tiles after their assembly.Proceeding from this prior art, it is an object of the present invention to provide a kit for producing a washbasin and a washbasin of the type mentioned at the beginning with an alternative structure. To achieve this object, the present invention provides a kit for producing a washbasin, which kit comprises a base body, which in particular has rigid foam and has an upper depression, the bottom of which forms a gradient in the direction of a drain opening formed in the depression, and a dewatering device, which has a drain which is designed for insertion into the drain opening, characterized in that the kit comprises a projection element which is formed as a separate component and is produced in particular from rigid foam and is designed to be arranged above the dewatering device positioned as intended and to be connected to the base body in such a way that a drain gap is formed between the drain of the dewatering device and the underside of the projection element, which preferably has a width in the range from 3 to 25 mm.In the assembled state, the projection element optically conceals the dewatering device, which results in a very simple and appealing design of the washbasin.Preferably, surfaces of the base body and / or of the sealing sleeve and / or of the sealing bands and / or of the projection element are provided with an outwardly facing adhesion promoting layer which promotes adhesion of thin-bed mortar or filler material, in particular concrete filler. Accordingly, the corresponding components can be provided simply with a filler layer or with tiles in the assembled state. The adhesion-promoting layer is advantageously a nonwoven or a woven fabric, which in particular makes the production of the kit simple and inexpensive.Below the adhesion-promoting layer, a watertight layer is preferably provided, in particular when the material of the base body is not watertight, or when joints are present, through which water and / or moisture can penetrate. The watertight layer is advantageously a plastic film, for example made of polyethylene, whereby a simple and inexpensive construction is achieved.Preferably, an adhesion promoting layer is arranged directly below and above the watertight layer. The lower adhesion promoting layer serves to facilitate attachment to the components. The adhesion-promoting layer or layers is / are preferably already connected to the watertight layer during the production thereof, so that a firmly connected two- or three-layer construction is achieved which can be processed easily. Such a two- or three-layer structure can be produced, for example, by laminating or thermally bonding a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric to a plastic film. The rigid foam can already be foamed directly onto an adhesion promoting layer during its production. Alternatively, it is of course also conceivable to glue or fasten using a thermal method.According to one embodiment of the present invention, the adhesion-promoting layer and, if present, the watertight layer are provided at least partially as one or more, in particular deep-drawn, shaped bodies, the dimensions of which are selected such that they can be inserted into the upper-side depression of the base body with an exact fit, whereby the assembly of the kit is significantly facilitated.Preferably, an elongate drainage channel is provided, which is produced in particular from aluminium or stainless steel, wherein the drainage channel preferably has a substantially U-shaped cross section, wherein in particular one of the mutually opposite limbs is arched outwards and or is bent outwards at its free end. Such a drainage channel increases the quality of the appearance and can be cleaned well above all. The drainage channel advantageously comprises a drain connection piece which can be inserted into the drain opening of the drainage device.According to one embodiment of the present invention, the base body has a plurality of cut-to-size rigid foam sheets which are arranged one above the other and are firmly connected to one another. The cutting of such individual rigid foam boards does not require a milling machine, whereby machine-related costs of initial purchase are avoided if corresponding cutting tools for cutting rigid foam boards are already present. In addition, the structure of the base body can be designed to be very variable thanks to the blank of the individual panels, in particular with respect to undercuts or the like. The bottom of the depression is preferably formed by a downwardly angled plate section of an upper rigid foam plate, in particular the uppermost rigid foam plate. In this way, a simple construction is achieved. Support elements can be provided which support the plate section from below, whereby a robust construction is achieved.Advantageously, the rigid foam plate forming the base of the depression has a plate thickness in the range from 2 to 10 mm, in particular in the range from 4 to 7 mm. A comparatively small plate thickness is detrimental to the formation of the angled plate section.Preferably, a rigid foam plate is arranged directly below the rigid foam plate forming the base of the depression, which rigid foam plate has a greater plate thickness than the rigid foam plate forming the base of the depression, in particular a plate thickness in the range from 15 to 35 mm, more preferably in the range from 20 to 25 mm, wherein the rigid foam plate arranged below the rigid foam plate forming the base of the depression has, below the angled plate portion, a cutout whose width corresponds to the width of the angled plate portion and whose depth corresponds to the depth of the angled plate portion.According to one embodiment of the present invention, a rigid foam plate arranged below that rigid foam plate which is arranged below the rigid foam plate which forms the base of the depression has a cutout, the width of which corresponds to the width of the angled plate section, and the depth of which is less than the depth of the angled plate section, such that the underside of the angled plate section rests on the rigid foam plate arranged beneath it.Kit according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has one or more wall brackets for fastening the washbasin to a wall, which forms / form at least two tongue portions projecting forwards, and in that the base body is provided with at least two parallel tongue receiving recesses which extend forwards from the rear base body edge and are of elongate design. Such a configuration promotes simple final assembly of the washbasin.According to one embodiment of the present invention, the base body has a through-opening, which extends from the top side to the bottom side, for receiving a water line, and a mounting plate made of hard plastic or metal provided with a through-opening is provided on the top side of the base body, wherein the through-opening of the mounting plate is arranged in alignment with the through-opening of the base body and serves for connecting a washbasin fitting. In this case, the diameter of the through-opening of the mounting plate is preferably smaller than the diameter of the through-opening of the base body in order to provide sufficient space for installing the washbasin fitting.Furthermore, the present invention provides a wash basin for achieving the object mentioned at the beginning, which wash basin is produced with a kit according to the invention.Further features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description with reference to the accompanying drawings. As can best be seen in FIG. 2, the kit 2 comprises as main components a base body 3 which forms the actual basin, two wall brackets 5 each having a tongue 4 and which are designed for fastening the wash basin 1 to a wall of a room, a dewatering device 6 which is formed in the present case from a drain 16 provided with a sealing collar 28, a dewatering channel provided with a drain connection 16, two sealing film elements 7 and a projection element 32.The base body 3 is predominantly made of hard foam and comprises an upper-side depression 19 with a width B and a depth T. More precisely, the base body 3 is formed in the present case from a plurality of cut-to-size hard foam plates 8, 9, 10 and 11 which are arranged one above the other and are firmly connected to one another, for example using an adhesive. Extruded polystyrene rigid foam (XPS) is preferred as rigid foam because of its water- and moisture-proof properties, although other rigid foams are of course also possible. The individual rigid foam sheets 8, 9, 10 and 11, which in the present case each have a uniform sheet thickness s considered per se, basically have a substantially rectangular blank. It should be clear, however, that other blanks are also possible, for example a square blank, a blank with rounded portions in the edge regions, a free-form blank or the like, wherein the respective rear panel edge of the rigid foam panels 8, 9, 10 and 11 should be formed substantially rectilinear in order to enable fastening to a planar space wall. In free-standing wash basins, a straight rear plate edge is naturally not necessary. The lowermost rigid foam plate 8 has a rigid foam core 12 which is coated on both sides with a layer composite which in the present case has in each case an adhesion-promoting layer 14, a watertight layer 13 and again an adhesion-promoting layer 14. Preferred waterproof layers 13 are plastic films such as polyethylene films. The adhesion promoting layers 14 are embodied in the present case as a non-woven fabric. Alternatively, however, a fabric layer can also serve as adhesion-promoting layer 14, for example. The plate thickness s 8 is in the present case in the range from 25 to 35 mm, but is basically freely selectable. In the rear region near the rear plate edge, a drain opening 15 is formed, the shape of which is adapted to the shape of a drain 16 of the dewatering device 6. The underside of the lowermost rigid foam plate 8 is provided in the front region with a continuous groove 17 which extends substantially parallel to the front plate edge and into which a lighting means can be inserted, for example in the form of an LED strip or the like. It should be clear that the groove 17 can of course also be dispensed with. The hard foam plate 9 arranged above it consists in the present case of a hard material core 12. The rigid foam plate 9 has a rectangular cutout 18 which is in the present case central and the width of which corresponds to the width B of an upper depression 19 of the washbasin 1. The depth t is, however, selected to be somewhat smaller than the depth T of the depression 19. Furthermore, the rigid foam plate 9 comprises tongue receiving recesses 20 arranged on both sides of the central recess 18, which extend forwards parallel to one another from the rear plate edge and are adapted to the dimensions of the tongues 4 of the wall brackets 5. The plate thickness s 9 is 25 mm in the present case, wherein the plate thickness s should correspond to the height of the blades 4 in order to ensure a secure hold. The next rigid foam plate 10, whose basic structure can correspond to the lowermost or second lowermost rigid foam plate 8, 9, likewise has a central, rectangular cutout 21, whose width b 10 and depth t 10 substantially corresponds to the width B and depth T of the depression 19. The plate thickness s10is preferably in the range from 20 to 25 mm.The uppermost rigid foam plate 11, whose basic structure in the present case corresponds to that of the lowermost rigid foam plate 8, has a downwardly angled plate section 22, whose width b 11 and depth t 11 substantially correspond to those of the cutout 21. A front region 23 of the angled plate section forms the gradient of the bottom of the depression 19, a rear section 24 forms an insertion region for the dewatering device 6. The plate thickness s 10 is 5 mm in the present case.In addition to the blades 4, the wall brackets 5, which are preferably made of metal, each have a plate-shaped fastening section 26, from which the blades 4 protrude and which in the present case are each provided with four holes 27 for passing screws through. It should be clear that instead of two wall brackets 5, a single wall bracket with two blades can also be used. The drainage device 6 comprises the outlet 16 provided with the sealing collar 28, into which the underside outlet connection 42 of the drainage channel 40 is inserted. Instead of the sealing collar 28, sealing bands can also be used in principle. The sealing sleeve is in the present case produced from a layer structure which, viewed from top to bottom, has an adhesion-promoting layer 14, in particular made of woven fabric or nonwoven, a watertight layer 13, in particular made of plastic film, and again an adhesion-promoting layer 14. The drainage channel 40 in the present case has a substantially U-shaped cross section, wherein the mutually opposite legs are arranged one above the other. The lower leg is curved outwards and is bent downwards at its free end. The free end of the upper leg is bent by 180°.The film-like shaped bodies 7 cut to size and preformed in the present case, whose layer structure corresponds in the present case to the layer structure of the sealing sleeve 28 of the dewatering device 6, serve for watertight cladding of the side walls of the depression 19 and are shaped accordingly. The shaped bodies 7 each comprise overlapping sections 29 for covering the base body regions arranged adjacent to the side walls of the depression 19 and a shaped body section 30 which points to the rear side of the base body 3 and which terminates in particular flush with the rear side of the base body 3 and serves as a transition to a wall seal. The projection element 32 is rectangular and is made from rigid foam analogously to the base body, which is preferably coated on one or more sides with a layer composite which in particular has a bonding layer 14, a watertight layer 13 and again a bonding layer 14. The length l of the protrusion member 32 is set to correspond to the width B of the recess 19, and the height h of the protrusion member 32 is set to be smaller than the maximum height H of the recess. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 10, in the assembled state of the projection element 32, in which the projection element 32 is fastened to the base body 3 in such a way that the upper side of the projection element 32 terminates flush with the upper side of the base body 3, a discharge gap 33 is formed between which the upper side of the drain 16 of the dewatering device 6 and the lower side of the projection element 32, the width b 33 of which is preferably in the range from 3 to 25 mm.To assemble the washbasin 1, in a first step the lower two rigid foam plates 8 and 9 are arranged flush one above the other and fastened to one another, for example glued to one another. In a second step, the third rigid foam plate 10 is arranged on the second rigid foam plate 9 and fastened to it. The uppermost rigid foam plate 11 is now placed on the third rigid foam plate 10 and fastened to it. The plate section 22 of the uppermost rigid foam plate 11, which is provided with a notch facilitating folding-off, is pressed downwards until it rests on the edge, denoted by the reference numeral 31, of the rigid foam plate 9 arranged beneath it, whereupon the underside of the rear region 24 of the plate section 22 is adhesively bonded in a sealing manner to the upper adhesion-promoting layer 14 of the lowermost rigid foam plate 8. Subsequently, the molded bodies 7 are fixed adhesively in the region of the side walls of the depression 19. The outlet 16 of the dewatering device 6 is now inserted from above into the outlet opening 15 of the lowermost rigid foam plate 8 and the sealing sleeve 28 is adhesively bonded sealingly to the upper adhesion-promoting layer 14 of the uppermost rigid foam plate 11. Then, the drain pipe 42 of the drain 40 is inserted into the drain pipe 16. In a further step, the projection element 32 is placed on the upper side of the outlet channel 40 and is fastened to the base body 3, for example by adhesive bonding. In a final step, the visible sides of the base body 3 and of the projection element 32 are in the present case coated with a filler material, resulting in the washbasin 1 illustrated in FIG. 11. To improve the external appearance, a light can be inserted into the groove 17, in particular in the form of an LED strip.FIGS. 12 to 17 show a kit 2 for producing a washbasin according to a second embodiment of the present invention or components thereof. The construction of this kit 2 is very similar to the construction of the previously described kit 2, for which reason only the differences will be explained below in order to avoid repetitions.A first difference consists in that the depression 19 of the base body 3 formed by the recesses 18 and 21 of the rigid foam plates 9 and 10 does not extend as far as the rear edge of the base body 3, but rather ends at a distance a from the latter. The shoulder remaining between the depression 19 and the rear edge of the base body 3 serves as a placement surface and is additionally used in the present case for receiving a washbasin fitting, not shown in more detail. For this purpose, the rigid foam plates 8, 9 and 10 are provided with through-openings 34 which are arranged vertically flush with one another and which extend from the upper side to the lower side of the base body 3 in the assembled state of the kit 2. On the upper side of the base body, a mounting plate 36 made of hard plastic or metal and provided with a through-opening 35 is provided, wherein the through-opening 35 of the mounting plate is arranged in alignment with the through-openings 34 of the base body.A further difference is that support elements 37 are provided in the form of rigid foam plates which additionally support the plate section 22 from below, whereby a better stability is achieved than in the first embodiment. In addition, the two molded bodies 7 are replaced by the sealing sleeve 28 which is fastened to the outlet 16 of the dewatering device 6 and is designed as a molded body in such a way that, in the assembled state, it seals off the entire depression. The sealing collar 38 is provided with a recess at the position of the outlet opening 15 which provides free access to the outlet opening 15.In addition, the lowermost rigid foam plate 8 does not have a groove 17.To assemble the washbasin 1, in a first step the lower two rigid foam plates 8 and 9 are arranged flush one above the other and fastened to one another, for example glued to one another. In a second step, the third rigid foam plate 10 is arranged on the second rigid foam plate 9 and fastened to it. In a further step, the support elements 37 are arranged on the rigid foam plates 8 and 9 at positions which are indicated by arrows 41 in FIG. 9 and are fastened to the latter, for example by adhesive bonding. The uppermost rigid foam plate 11 is now placed on the third rigid foam plate 10 and fastened to it. The plate section 22 of the uppermost rigid foam plate 11 is pressed downward until it rests on the edges, designated by the reference numeral 31, of the rigid foam plate 9 arranged beneath it and of the supporting elements 37, whereupon the underside of the rear region 24 of the plate section 22 is adhesively bonded in a sealing manner to the upper adhesion-promoting layer 14 of the lowermost rigid foam plate 8. Subsequently, the outlet 16 is introduced into the outlet opening 15, at the same time the sealing sleeve 38 is inserted into the depression 19 and then adhesively fastened. Subsequently, the outlet connection 42 of the drainage channel 40 is inserted into the outlet 16 from above. In a further step, the projection element 32 is fastened to the base body 3, for example, in an adhesive manner. In a final step, the mounting plate 36 is fastened to the rigid foam plate 11 in particular in an adhesive manner. The visible sides of the base body 3 and of the projection element 32 can now be spatulated with a spatula material in the present case. Furthermore, a washbasin fitting can be mounted on the mounting plate. It should be understood that the above-described embodiment is only illustrative and is not to be considered restrictive. Rather, changes and modifications are possible without departing from the scope of the appended claims. Thus, the base bodies 3 can also be manufactured from a single rigid foam block, which is preferably provided at least partially with a layer composite of adhesion promoter layer 14, watertight layer 13 and adhesion promoter layer 14. It is also possible to dispense with the arrangement of a drainage channel 40.List of Reference Numbers1 Wash basin 2 Kit 3 Base body 4 Blade 5 Wall console 6 Dewatering device 7 Shaped body 8 Rigid foam plate 9 Rigid foam plate 10 Rigid foam plate 11 Rigid foam plate 12 Rigid foam core 13 Watertight layer 14 Adhesion-promoting layer 15 Outlet opening 16 Outlet 17 Groove 18 Cutout 19 Depression 20 Blade receiving cutouts 21 Cutout 22 Plate portion 23 Front region 24 Rear region 25 Cutout 26 Fastening portion 27 Hole 28 Sealing collar 29 Overlap portion 30 Shaped body portion 31 Edge 32 Projection element 33 Outlet gap 34 Through opening 35 Through opening 36 Mounting plate 37 Support element 38 Shaped body 40 Dewatering groove 41 Arrow 42 Outlet stub s Plate thickness b Width B Width t Depth T Depth l Length a Distance h Height H Height
