DETAILED EMBODIMENTS
[0009] It will be Fig. 1, which shows a schematic diagram of the structure of the battery box 011 provided in the embodiment of the present application. The embodiment of the application provides a battery box 011, and the battery box 011 includes a box lid 111, a box body 112, a partition plate 1131, and two longitudinal beams 114. The box lid 111 covers the box body 112 to define the mounting space. The mounting space has two opposite first side walls. Two longitudinal beams 114 are respectively arranged on two first side walls. The two ends of the partition plate 1131 are lap-connected to two longitudinal beams 114. The partition plate 1131 divides the mounting space into a lower module mounting space 1123 and an upper module mounting space 1124. A side of the longitudinal beam 114 facing the box lid 111 is the first side surface 1141.The first side surface 1141 is configured to abut against an upper battery module.
[0010] It should be understood that the box body 112 comprises a lower protective plate 1121 and four side plates 1122, which are sequentially connected to each other as a frame structure. The lower protective plate 1121 is arranged at one end of the frame structure to cover one end of its internal cavity. The other end of the frame structure is closed with the box cover 111.
[0011] The partition plate 1131 can be fixed to the longitudinal beam 114 by adhesive, welded to the longitudinal beam 114, and fixed to the longitudinal beam 114 by pouring adhesive onto the mounting space after the battery package is completed. Furthermore, the longitudinal beam 114 can be integrally formed with the side wall of the box body 112 by aluminum extrusion, and can also be fixed to the first side wall by bolting or welding.
[0012] In addition, the upper module mounting space 1124 is used for the installation of the upper battery module, and in order to facilitate pressure relief, the explosion-proof valve and the partition plate 1131 on the cell of the upper battery module are arranged at intervals to form the buffer space required for the braking of the explosion-proof valve between the explosion-proof valve and the partition plate 1131. Similarly, the lower module mounting space 1123 is used for the installation of the lower battery module, and in order to facilitate pressure relief, the explosion-proof valve on the cell of the lower battery module and the lower protection plate 1121 of the battery box 011 are arranged at intervals to form the buffer space required for the braking of the explosion-proof valve between the explosion-proof valve and the lower protection plate 1121.
[0013] For example, the partition plate 1131 is a steel plate, and the longitudinal beam 114 is an extruded aluminum part.
[0014] In this embodiment, a longitudinal beam 114 and a partition plate 1131 are formed as a support that supports the upper battery module, so that the support of the upper battery module and the insulation of the upper module installation cavity 1124 and the lower module installation cavity 1123 can be realized to reduce the thermal interference of the upper and lower layers of the battery module, and the support composed of the longitudinal beam 114 and the partition plate 1131 is a discrete structure so that they can be manufactured separately, so that the difficulty of forming can be reduced and the manufacturing efficiency of the battery box 011 can be improved.
[0015] It will be Fig. 2 and Fig. 3. Fig. 2 is a plan view of the box body 112 provided by the embodiment of the present application, and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view along AA in Fig. 2. In one embodiment, the side of the longitudinal beam 114 that deviates from the first side wall on which it is located is provided with a stepped groove 1142. The stepped groove 1142 has a first groove wall 11421 that runs parallel to the box cover 111. The two ends of the partition plate 1131 are each in an overlap connection with the first groove wall 11421 of the two longitudinal beams 114.
[0016] In this embodiment, a stepped groove 1142 is arranged on the longitudinal beam 114. On the one hand, the first groove wall 11421 supports the partition plate 1131, so that the upper battery module and the partition plate 1131 located on the first side surface 1141 can be arranged at intervals to form a gap between the upper battery module and the partition plate 1131, and the buffer space required for braking the explosion-proof valve can be formed between the explosion-proof valve and the partition plate 1131 to improve the reliability of the battery pack;On the other hand, the structure supporting the upper battery module and the partition plate 1131 is integrated into the longitudinal beam 114, so that the first groove wall 11421 and the first side surface 1141 can be respectively formed based on the same machining reference, so that the buffer space required for braking the explosion-proof valve of the upper battery module can be controlled by machining and the assembly difficulty can be reduced.;
[0017] It will be Fig. 3. In one embodiment, the stepped groove 1142 further comprises a second groove wall 11422 arranged at an angle to the first groove wall 11421, wherein an upper pressure relief channel 1143 is arranged within the longitudinal beam 114, a first through-bore 1144 is arranged in the second groove wall 11422, the longitudinal beam 114 is provided with a second through-bore 1145 on a side facing the first side wall on which it is located, and the first through-bore 1144 and the second through-bore 1145 are connected to the upper pressure relief channel 1143; wherein the side plate 1122 of the box body 112 is provided with an upper pressure relief valve mounting hole 11221 connected to the second through-bore 1145.
[0018] For example, a plurality of first through holes 1144 are arranged on the second groove wall 11422 along the axis of the longitudinal beam 114.
[0019] In this embodiment, when an upper pressure relief channel 1143 is arranged so that a large amount of gas is generated by thermal runaway of the upper battery module, the gas can flow from the gap between the upper battery module and the partition plate 1131, the first through-hole 1144, the upper pressure relief channel 1143, and the second through-hole 1145 to the upper pressure relief valve, so that the gas generated from the battery module can be discharged from the battery pack by braking the upper pressure relief valve, and the safety of the battery pack can be improved.
[0020] Related to Fig. 1, in one embodiment, a side of the partition plate 1131 facing the box lid 111 is provided with a support strip 115. The axis of the support strip 115 is parallel to the partition plate 1131. The side of the support strip 115 facing the box lid 111 is configured to bear against the upper battery module. A side of the support strip 115 facing the box lid 111 is coplanar with the first side surface 1141. The side of the support strip 115 facing the box lid 111 is the upper surface of the support strip 115.
[0021] Optionally, the axis of the support bar 115 is perpendicular to the axis of the cheek 114.
[0022] Specifically, support bars 115 are arranged along the axis of the longitudinal beam 114 at both ends of the battery module. Thus, the support bar 115 is aligned with the side wall of the gap between the partition plate 1131 and the upper battery module. The second slotted wall 11422 and the plastic bracket and the partition plate 1131 of the upper battery module enclose the upper pressure relief cavity. The upper pressure relief cavity is only discharged through the first through-hole 1144 for pressure relief.
[0023] It can be understood that if only the longitudinal beam 114 supports the upper battery module, the upper battery module receives a smaller support surface, resulting in poor positional stability of the upper battery module.
[0024] Based on this, in this embodiment, the upper battery module is supported by arranging a support bar 115, so that the support surface of the battery box 011 on the upper battery module can be increased and the positional stability of the upper battery module can be improved.
[0025] Furthermore, the support strip 115 is elastic. Specifically, the support strip 115 can optionally be made of foam. In this way, the upper surface of the support strip 115 can be compressed so that the upper surface of the support strip 115 is coplanar with the first side surface 1141, so that the flatness requirement of the support strip 115 and the size requirement that the upper surface be coplanar with the first side surface 1141 can be reduced, and the manufacturing difficulty can be reduced.
[0026] It will be Fig. 3. In one embodiment, the first side wall is convexly provided with the first support beam 1125. The first support beam 1125 is located near the first end of the box lid 111 and faces the longitudinal beam 114.
[0027] It is understandable that the first support beam 1125 and the side wall of the battery box 011 are formed as one piece by extruding aluminum as an integral mold.
[0028] Additionally, the longitudinal beam 114 is locked to the first support beam 1125 by a bolt 1147. The first support beam 1125 is arranged along the axial extension of the longitudinal beam 114, and the length of the first support beam 1125 coincides with the length of the longitudinal beam 114.
[0029] In this embodiment, the first support beam 1125 is convex on the first side wall, so that the longitudinal beam 114 is supported by the first support beam 1125 and the positional stability of the longitudinal beam 114 can be improved.
[0030] In one embodiment, the battery box 011 further comprises a seal 119. The seal 119 is arranged between the first support beam 1125 and the longitudinal beam 114.
[0031] It can be understood that there is a gap between the longitudinal beam 114 and the first side wall and between the longitudinal beam 114 and the first support beam 1125, so that hot gas can easily flow out of this gap, and then there is thermal interference between the lower battery module and the upper battery module. And when the adhesive is filled, the adhesive fills the lower module mounting space 1123 and the upper module mounting space 1124, respectively. The adhesive in the lower module mounting space 1123 must fill the lower module mounting space 1123 to the bottom of the longitudinal beam 114 before this gap can be filled. And because the gap is small, large pressure is required when filling the adhesive, which can easily cause the gap to not be filled with adhesive.
[0032] Based on this, in the present embodiment, the insulation between the lower module mounting space 1123 and the upper module mounting space 1124 can be improved by sealing the gasket 119 between the first support beam 1125 and the longitudinal beam 114, thereby improving the thermal interference between the lower battery module and the upper battery module.
[0033] In addition, when the longitudinal beam 114 is fixed to the first support beam 1125 by a bolt 1147, the end of the rod portion of the bolt 1147 again penetrates the longitudinal beam 114, and the seal 119 is threadably connected to the first support beam 1125. In this way, not only can the longitudinal beam 114 be fixed to the first support beam 1125, but also the seal 119 can be clamped between the longitudinal beam 114 and the first support beam 1125 by the locking force of the bolt 1147, so that the sealing between the first support beam 1125 and the longitudinal beam 114 can be improved.
[0034] It will be Fig. 6. Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of the position of the crossbeam 116 provided in the embodiment of the present application. In one embodiment, the mounting space also includes two second side walls with opposite settings. The two first side walls, the opposing surface between the two second side walls, and the box lid 111 and the box body 112 define the mounting space. The battery box 011 further includes two crossbeams 116. Two crossbeams 116 are respectively arranged on two second side walls. The two other ends of the partition plate 1131 are lap-jointed with two crossbeams 116.
[0035] It is understood that two first side walls and two second side walls are offset from each other along the circumference of the lid 111. The first side wall is perpendicular to the second side wall; in particular, the two ends of the first side wall are connected to one end of the two second side walls, and the two ends of the other first side wall are connected to the other end of the two second side walls.
[0036] For example, the two ends of the longitudinal beam 114 are each abutted against the second side wall of the assembly room, and the two ends of the cross beam 116 are each plugged together with the two longitudinal beams 114.
[0037] In addition, the crossbeam 116 is made of extruded aluminum parts.
[0038] In this embodiment, the storage stability of the battery box 011 to the partition plate 1131 can be improved by arranging a cross beam 116, so that the storage stability of the battery box 011 to the upper battery module can be improved and the reliability of the battery pack can be improved.
[0039] With reference to Fig. 6, in one embodiment, the battery box 011 further includes a reinforcing beam 117, and the reinforcing beam is arranged between each crossbeam 116 and the second sidewall where the crossbeam 116 is located. The two ends of the reinforcing beam 117 are each connected to the crossbeam 116 and the adjacent second sidewall.
[0040] For example, the reinforcing beam 117 is parallel to the axis of the longitudinal beam 114, and the reinforcing beam 117 is welded to the transverse beam 116 and the adjacent second side wall.
[0041] Additionally, a plurality of reinforcing beams 117 are arranged between the crossbeam 116 and the adjacent second side wall. A plurality of reinforcing bars 117 are arranged at intervals along the axis of the beams 116.
[0042] In this embodiment, the strength of the battery box 011 can be improved by disposing a reinforcing beam 117, so that the structural reliability of the battery box 011 can be improved and the impact resistance of the battery box 011 can be improved.
[0043] In one embodiment, the battery box 011 further comprises an intermediate beam 118 whose axis runs parallel to the axis of the crossbeam 116 and is arranged between the two crossbeams 116, wherein the two ends of the intermediate beam 118 are connected to the first side walls.
[0044] For example, the intermediate beam 118 is parallel to the axis of the crossbeam 116, and the intermediate beam 118 is connected to the center point of the longitudinal beam 114. Specifically, the intermediate beam 118 is welded to the longitudinal beam 114.
[0045] In this embodiment, the strength of the battery box 011 can be improved by disposing an intermediate beam 118, so that the structural reliability of the battery box 011 can be improved and the impact resistance of the battery box 011 can be improved.
[0046] Related to Fig. 3, in one embodiment, a side of the lower protective plate 1121 of the first side wall facing the box body 112 is provided with a second support beam 1126. The side of the second support beam 1126 facing the box lid 111 is configured to abut against the lower battery module. This creates a gap between the lower battery module and the lower protective plate 1121, and then the buffer space required for braking the explosion-proof valve can be formed between the explosion-proof valve and the lower protective plate 1121, thereby improving the reliability of the battery pack.
[0047] For example, the second support beam 1126 and the side plate 1122 of the box body 112 are extruded in an aluminum form.
[0048] In this embodiment, a second support beam 1126 is arranged to support the lower battery module so that the position of the lower battery module is determined relative to the height of the battery box 011, so that the positional stability of the lower battery module can be improved.
[0049] It should be understood that the second support beam 1126 faces the side wall of the gap between the lower battery module and the lower protective plate 1121, the cross beam 116 faces the side wall of the gap between the lower battery module and the lower protective plate 1121, and the plastic bracket of the lower protective plate 1121 and the lower battery module encloses the lower pressure relief cavity. The lower pressure relief cavity is discharged only through the third through-hole 11261.
[0050] Related to Fig. 3, in one embodiment, the interior of the second support beam 1126 is provided with a lower pressure relief channel 11263. The side of the second support beam 1126 facing away from the first side wall connected to it is provided with a third through-hole 11261. The side of the second support beam 1126 near the first side wall, on which it is located, is provided with a fourth through-hole 11262. The third through-hole 11261 and the fourth through-hole 11262 are each connected to the lower pressure relief channel 11263. The side plate 1122 of the box body 112 is provided with the installation opening 11222 of the lower pressure relief valve, and the installation opening 11222 of the lower pressure relief valve is connected to the fourth through-hole 11262.
[0051] By way of example, a plurality of third through holes 11261 are arranged on the second support beam 1126 along the axis of the second support beam 1126.
[0052] In this embodiment, when a large amount of gas is generated by thermal runaway of the lower battery module, by disposing the lower pressure relief channel 11263, the gas can flow to the lower pressure relief valve in sequence via the gap between the lower battery module and the lower protection plate 1121, the third through-hole 11261, the lower pressure relief channel 11263, and the fourth through-hole 11262, so that by braking the lower pressure relief valve, gas generated by the battery module is discharged from the battery pack, thus improving the safety of the battery pack.
[0053] In addition, the pressure relief paths of the lower module mounting space 1123 and the upper module mounting space 1124 are independent of each other, so that the pressure relief of the lower module mounting space 1123 and the upper module mounting space 1124 does not interfere with each other, so that the structural safety, thermal safety and reliability of the battery pack can be improved.
[0054] In one embodiment, one side of the partition plate 1131 is provided with a thermal insulation layer 1132.
[0055] Understandably, the insulation layer 1132 can be used for mica plates, but is not limited thereto.
[0056] In addition, a thermal insulation layer 1132 may be arranged on a side of the thermal insulation plate facing the upper battery module, a thermal insulation layer 1132 may also be arranged on a side facing the lower battery module, and a thermal insulation layer 1132 may also be arranged on both sides of the thermal insulation plate.
[0057] For example, the thickness of the insulating layer 1132 is 1-3 mm. Specifically, the thickness of the insulating layer 1132 may be, but is not limited to, 1 mm, 1.33 mm, 1.6 mm, 1.9 mm, 2 mm, 2.25 mm, 2.8 mm, or 3 mm.
[0058] In this embodiment, by disposing a thermal barrier layer 1132, the heat transfer rate between the lower module mounting space 1123 and the upper module mounting space 1124 can be reduced, thereby reducing the thermal interference between the lower module mounting space 1123 and the upper module mounting space 1124, thereby improving the reliability of the battery pack.
[0059] See Fig. 7. Fig. Figure 7 is an enlarged view of C in Fig. 6. In one embodiment, a support of the longitudinal beam 114 is arranged on a side of the longitudinal beam 114 facing the box lid 111, wherein one side of the support of the longitudinal beam 114 is connected to the longitudinal beam 114 and the other side is connected to the first side wall.
[0060] For example, the support of the longitudinal beam 114 is connected to the longitudinal beam 114 or the first side wall by screws 1147.
[0061] In this embodiment, the positional stability of the longitudinal beam 114 can be improved by disposing a longitudinal beam support 114, so that the support stability of the longitudinal beam 114 on the upper battery module and the steel plate can be improved and the reliability of the battery pack can be improved.
[0062] It will be Fig. 8. Fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of the structure of the battery pack 001 provided in the embodiment of the present application. The embodiment of the present application provides a battery pack 001. The battery pack 001 includes an upper battery module 012, a lower battery module, and a battery box 011. The upper battery module is arranged in the upper module mounting space 1124. The lower battery module is arranged in the lower module mounting space 1123.
[0063] The separating plate 1131 is firmly connected to the lower battery module by structural adhesive and the thermal insulation layer 1132 is connected to the separating plate 1131.
[0064] In addition, the upper module mounting space 1124 and the lower module mounting space 1123 are filled with Styrofoam.
[0065] For example, the cells of a battery module can consist of cylindrical cells with 4680, among others.
[0066] In this embodiment, the battery box 011 is used to make the support consisting of the longitudinal beam 114 and the partition plate 1131 into a discrete structure so that they can be manufactured separately, so that the difficulty of forming can be reduced and the manufacturing efficiency of the battery pack 001 can be improved.
