Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a change system holder system comprising a change holder and a change holder adapter. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] The applicant markets a change holder that can be attached to an articulated arm, which is usually attached to a frame or base. The change system holder is designed to connect or disconnect various instruments with a change holder adapter as a coupling element through a single actuation process. The instruments can also be holders for medical instruments. Such a system, in particular for positioning endoscopes or optics, is known from a brochure "FISSO-Quick-Release-System-Surgery" from December 2019, referred to there as "BMPSe 12 / 19". Fig. 1. The interchangeable holder system comprises the aforementioned interchangeable holder, which is firmly connected to the articulated arm in the product, and an interchangeable holder adapter, which is firmly connected to a head component, i.e., an instrument or an instrument holder. The interchangeable holder adapter is a coupling element comprising a cylindrical head with a chamfered free end, which is mounted on a connecting rod of the head component. The cylindrical head can be pushed into the interchangeable holder until complementary stop surfaces of the interchangeable holder and the interchangeable holder adapter abut one another. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Based on this prior art, it is the object of the present invention to provide an interchangeable holder system in which a twisted attachment of the interchangeable holder adapter is excluded.
[0004] This object is achieved by an interchangeable holder system with an interchangeable holder and with an interchangeable holder adapter having the features of claim 1.
[0005] The system has a longitudinal axis, and the change holder has a body that can be attached to an articulated arm at a free end of the longitudinal axis and that has an opening along the longitudinal axis. A pin hole for a locking pin is provided parallel to the opening. An actuating button hole is provided along an actuating axis oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. In this hole, an actuating button is provided with a compression spring provided in the blind hole of the actuating button hole. The spring is secured against falling out by the locking pin arranged in an elongated hole. The locking pin can in particular be pressed into the pin hole. Alternatively, it can also be glued or screwed in.The actuating button has a coupling cylinder opening with a locking surface for locking a coupling cylinder of the interchangeable holder adapter that can be attached to the interchangeable holder, wherein the coupling cylinder of the interchangeable holder adapter has at least one coupling groove. The locking pin of the interchangeable holder then has a section that protrudes beyond the stop surface of the interchangeable holder and acts as an orientation-defining pin. When the interchangeable holder adapter is correctly oriented, the pin engages in a complementary recess of the interchangeable holder adapter when the stop surface of the interchangeable holder abuts the stop surface of the interchangeable holder adapter.
[0006] By using a modified locking pin as a positioning element, anti-twist security can be achieved during assembly without complicating the sterilizability of the object.
[0007] The coupling cylinder of the interchangeable holder adapter could also have two coupling grooves, but it is preferable to use exactly one coupling groove, which is aligned with the engagement surface when the pin defining the orientation is aligned for insertion into the complementary recess. Providing only one groove increases the stability of the coupling cylinder used.
[0008] Alignment elements can be provided on or at the stop surface of the body of the quick-change holder. These then complement the alignment elements on or at the body of the quick-change holder adapter, interlocking when the quick-change holder adapter is correctly positioned.
[0009] The alignment elements on the body of the change holder can be lateral ribbed circular segments projecting beyond the stop surface of the body in plan view, and the alignment elements of the change holder adapter can then be complementary recesses shaped like circular segments in plan view. The circular segments advantageously have a chord whose perpendicular intersects the longitudinal axis of the change holder or change holder adapter.
[0010] The pin defining the orientation and the pin bore receiving it are arranged radially in the direction of the mouth of the actuating button bore emerging from the body of the change holder, whereas the compression spring is provided on the opposite side of the longitudinal axis in the blind bore.
[0011] The invention then also relates to an interchangeable holder of such an interchangeable holder system.
[0012] The invention then also relates to an interchangeable holder adapter of such an interchangeable holder system.
[0013] Further embodiments are specified in the dependent claims. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0014] Preferred embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the drawings, which are for illustrative purposes only and are not to be construed as limiting. In the drawings: Fig. 1 is a perspective exploded view of a change holder system comprising a change holder and a change holder adapter according to the prior art; Fig. 2 a perspective view of an assembled and locked interchangeable holder system according to the prior art of Fig. 1; Fig. 3 a side view of the interchangeable holder adapter according to the state of the art of Fig. 1; Fig. 4 is a perspective exploded view of a change holder system comprising a change holder and a change holder adapter according to an embodiment; Fig. 5 a perspective view of an assembled and locked interchangeable holder system according to Fig. 4; Fig. 6 a side view of the interchangeable holder adapter according to Fig. 4; Fig. 7 a side view, in case of incorrect alignment of the interchangeable holder adapter, of the non-locking interchangeable holder system according to Fig. 4, and Fig. 8 is a partial sectional view of the lower portion of an actuating button. DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0015] The Fig. 1 shows a perspective exploded view of a change holder system 10 comprising a change holder 11 and a change holder adapter 12 according to the prior art. Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 show respectively a perspective view of an assembled and locked interchangeable holder system 10 according to Fig. 1 and a side view of the interchangeable holder adapter 12 according to Fig. 1.
[0016] If elements of the interchangeable holder system 10 according to the prior art are used in the same or similar manner in the interchangeable holder system 20 according to an embodiment of the invention, they are given the same reference numerals. Thus, both interchangeable holders 11 and 21 each have a body 1, the free end 2 of which is firmly connected in a product, for example, to an articulated arm (not shown here). The body 1 is hollow and has a central cylindrical opening 4 along its longitudinal axis 3 arranged opposite the interchangeable holder adapter 12. The central opening 4 is designed to accommodate a cylindrical coupling cylinder 31 of the interchangeable holder adapter 12.
[0017] Above the longitudinal axis 3 and parallel to it, a further opening is provided, the pin bore 7, into which a short locking pin 13 can be inserted.
[0018] The pin hole 7 and the central opening 4 on its axis 3 are pierced by an actuating button hole 6 as a blind hole along an actuating axis 5 perpendicular to this axis. The pin hole 7 preferably ends in the actuating button hole 6, while the central opening 4 extends beyond the actuating button hole 6.
[0019] On the other side, the actuating button bore 6 also extends in depth beyond the longitudinal axis 3. A substantially cylindrical actuating button 41 is inserted into the actuating button bore 6, which has two through openings provided transversely to the actuating axis 5. These are, on the one hand, the coupling cylinder opening 42 and, on the other hand, a guide for the locking pin 7. The guide is designed as an elongated hole 43 and limits the possible movement of the actuating button 41 along the actuating axis 5.
[0020] A compression spring 44 is also inserted into the blind bore 6 below the actuating button 41. The compression spring 44 is located below the central opening 4 and is supported on a shoulder-forming underside of the actuating button 41. Advantageously, a guide cylinder 45, thinner in diameter than the actuating button 41, projects into the interior of the compression spring 44.
[0021] The coupling cylinder 31 advantageously has a chamfered free end 32, to which a cylindrical guide section 33 is connected, which has two opposite locking grooves at a distance from the free end.
[0022] On the side of the opening 4, there is a stop surface 8, which is aligned complementarily to a corresponding adapter stop surface 38 of the interchangeable holder adapter 22, which is aligned parallel, i.e., perpendicular to the axis 3 of the coupling cylinder 31. In the illustrated embodiment, two alignment elements 9 in the form of lateral ribs projecting beyond the surface 8 are provided on the stop surface 8. In contrast, complementary alignment elements 39 are provided on the interchangeable holder adapter, i.e., removed lateral sections, so that the body 14 of the interchangeable holder adapter 12 can only be placed on the body 1 of the interchangeable holder 1 in two positions rotated by 180°, such that the surfaces 8 and 38 touch. In each of these two positions, one of the two opposing grooves 16 in the rear region of the coupling cylinder 31 is located opposite the engagement surface 46 of the actuating button 41.The length of the grooves 16 is dimensioned such that it lies in the region of the diameter of the actuating button 41, so that the locking surface 46 is pressed from below into the lower groove 16 by the compression spring 44 and prevents movement in the direction of the axis 3. The locking surface 46 in the direction of the longitudinal axis 3 has a run-up surface 47 to allow the coupling cylinder 31 to press the actuating head 41 down until it clicks into place when the interchangeable holder 11 and interchangeable holder adapter 12 are pushed together. Of course, the alignment elements 9 and alignment elements 39 are aligned accordingly with the grooves 16. The reference numeral 37 generally designates the instrument holder of the interchangeable holder adapter 12, which is part of an optical system, an endoscope holder, or another object.
[0023] The Fig. 4 shows a perspective exploded view of a change holder system 20 comprising a change holder 21 and a change holder adapter 22 according to an embodiment of the invention. Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 show respectively a perspective view of an assembled and locked interchangeable holder system 20 according to Fig. 4 and a side view of the interchangeable holder adapter 22 according to Fig. 4. The Fig. 7 shows, in case of incorrect alignment of the interchangeable holder adapter 22, a side view of the interchangeable holder system 20 after Fig. 4.
[0024] The following description only addresses the differences between the Fig. 1 to 3 and Fig. 4 to 7.
[0025] The locking pin 13 according to the prior art was intended exclusively as a retaining element for the actuating button 41 in the elongated hole 43. In the embodiment according to Fig. 4, this pin is extended as an orientation-defining pin 23 and projects into a designated orientation groove 29 in the body 14 of the interchangeable holder adapter 22 when the interchangeable holder adapter 22 is placed on the body 1 of the interchangeable holder adapter 21. If, as in the Fig. 7, the interchangeable holder adapter 22 is placed on the interchangeable holder 21 rotated by 180 degrees, the pin 23 defining the orientation abuts the adapter stop surface 38. Advantageously, the alignment elements 9 and 39 are then not yet in engagement with each other, so that the interchangeable holder adapter 22 can be rotated about its longitudinal axis 3, wherein the operating button 41 and the alignment elements 9 and 39 can then engage when the individual groove 26, as in Fig. 6, is oriented downwards. In this context, downwards means opposite the visible and operable control button 41.
[0026] In addition, on the coupling cylinder 31, only one single groove 26 of the same length in the axial direction 3 as the grooves 16 is provided for locking and engagement with the operating button 41.
[0027] The Fig. Figure 8 shows a partial sectional view of the lower section of an actuating button 41, with the guide cylinder 45 shown on the left and the illustration ending on the side opposite it with the longitudinal axis 3. The engagement surface 46 merges into the inclined run-on surface 47 on the side facing the stop surface 8, while on the side facing away from the change holder adapter 22 (or 12), a shoulder 48 is provided that is almost vertical and only slightly inclined relative to the engagement surface 46. This makes it easy to push the change holder 21 and the change holder adapter 22 together, while separating them requires pressing the actuating button.
